Measuring just under 40m in length over all, the brand new sailing yacht ACTION , previously known as hull 395, successfully hit the water at the Royal Huisman shipyard in the Netherlands a couple of months ago. The official information and images of superyacht ACTION are still to be released by the shipyard.

Expected to be handed over to her new Owner shortly, luxury yacht ACTION (hull 395) is currently still in the Netherlands.

 General Description

The Yacht is a premium ship which was a reward for alpha testers who bought the game before it launched on steam, she is not available if you did not buy the game before the steam early access release. Her non Premium counter part is the cutter .

The Yacht just like all the earlier ships is quite lightly armed with 6pd cannons or 12pd carronades.

Characteristics

She is a fore and aft rigged ship which makes her excellent for sailing close hauled or beam reach however she suffers when running with the wind.

Here is the Sailing Profile for the Yacht. Excelling at points 90-105, the Yacht also does well around points 45-60, but less so than 90-105. Thus, it is actually preferable to sail the Yacht at a beam reach over anything else, unlike the Cutter which excels at both a beam reach as well as a close reach. Don't be fooled however, the Yacht is still very fast sailing close-hauled, just not quite as fast relatively as the Cutter .

How to get Crafting recipe

As the yacht is a premium ship which everyone who bought the game before the release of early access can get. you cannot get a crafting recipe of the Yacht.

37m Action wins Superyacht Challenge Antigua 2023

The Superyacht Challenge Antigua returned to the Caribbean island last week (6 March) for an action-packed week on the water. As one of the first Caribbean regattas of the year, the competition was stiff as the Superyacht Challenge Antigua welcomed five superyachts to Nelson’s Dockyard for a series of races.

Vying for the Gosnell Trophy and barrels of rum were the 44.8-metre Catalina , the 25-metre Zig Zag , 34-metre Kawil , the 45-metre Gitana and the 37.3-metre Action .

The first day of racing involved a seven-leg 13.5 nautical mile course where the competing yachts benefitted from 12 to 15-knot winds. After a time correction, the day ended in a photo finish where Action was crowned the winner by just 30 seconds ahead of Gitana .

With day two’s racing called off due to a lack of wind, the following day saw the top four boats finishing within 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Gitana led the charge in an elapsed time of under two hours.

The final race of the 2023 Superyacht Challenge Antigua was held off the south coast of Antigua with white caps on the 14 nautical mile course.

Overall, the Series Results state that Action scooped the winning place, with Kawil in second and Catalina in third. Gitana followed in fourth place ahead of Zig Zag . 

Action was competing in this regatta for the second year in a row and was the defending champion. She was delivered from Royal Huisman in 2014 to a design by Dykstra Naval Architects .

Offers are accumulated weekly through each Monday at 4:00 PM ET. In the event a particular Monday is a Federal Holiday, the deadline is extended an additional 24 hours. The high offer on a particular vessel is submitted to the Seller for consideration the following business day. The Seller, at its sole option, may accept or reject with or without a counter offer. Responses typically occur within 48 hours, no response constitutes a rejection of theoffer.

Upon notification of acceptance of an offer (either verbal or electronic), successful Bidder has 1 business day to deposit into National Liquidators escrow account, the greater of 10% of Gross Offer or $1,000.

Upon notification of acceptance of an offer (either verbal or electronic), successful Bidder has 5 business days to complete any and all conditions listed above in the “Conditions Of Offer”. In any case, any remaining amounts due must be deposited into National Liquidators escrow account, within 5 business days after notification of acceptance of an offer (either verbal or electronic). Successful Bidder’s failure to fund the total offer price within 5 business days after notice of acceptance will result in forfeiture of any deposits. National Liquidators makes no guarantees, representations or warranties as to title or the ability to document or register the vessel. National Liquidators are acting as a broker only and issues as to title, documentation and registration are between the Buyer and the Seller, owner or lien holder. The required $399.00 administrative fee covers National’s efforts to obtain titling and documentation information from the Seller; it does not include transfer of title or documentation to Buyer. National Liquidators can process transfer of title or documentation to Buyer an additional fee. Cruising the Moskva River: A short guide to boat trips in Russia’s capital

There’s hardly a better way to absorb Moscow’s atmosphere than on a ship sailing up and down the Moskva River. While complicated ticketing, loud music and chilling winds might dampen the anticipated fun, this checklist will help you to enjoy the scenic views and not fall into common tourist traps.

How to find the right boat?

There are plenty of boats and selecting the right one might be challenging. The size of the boat should be your main criteria.

Plenty of small boats cruise the Moskva River, and the most vivid one is this yellow Lay’s-branded boat. Everyone who has ever visited Moscow probably has seen it.

This option might leave a passenger disembarking partially deaf as the merciless Russian pop music blasts onboard. A free spirit, however, will find partying on such a vessel to be an unforgettable and authentic experience that’s almost a metaphor for life in modern Russia: too loud, and sometimes too welcoming. Tickets start at $13 (800 rubles) per person.

Bigger boats offer smoother sailing and tend to attract foreign visitors because of their distinct Soviet aura. Indeed, many of the older vessels must have seen better days. They are still afloat, however, and getting aboard is a unique ‘cultural’ experience. Sometimes the crew might offer lunch or dinner to passengers, but this option must be purchased with the ticket. Here is one such  option  offering dinner for $24 (1,490 rubles).

If you want to travel in style, consider Flotilla Radisson. These large, modern vessels are quite posh, with a cozy restaurant and an attentive crew at your service. Even though the selection of wines and food is modest, these vessels are still much better than other boats.

Surprisingly, the luxurious boats are priced rather modestly, and a single ticket goes for $17-$32 (1,100-2,000 rubles); also expect a reasonable restaurant bill on top.

How to buy tickets?

Women holding photos of ships promise huge discounts to “the young and beautiful,” and give personal invitations for river tours. They sound and look nice, but there’s a small catch: their ticket prices are usually more than those purchased online.

“We bought tickets from street hawkers for 900 rubles each, only to later discover that the other passengers bought their tickets twice as cheap!”  wrote  (in Russian) a disappointed Rostislav on a travel company website.

Nevertheless, buying from street hawkers has one considerable advantage: they personally escort you to the vessel so that you don’t waste time looking for the boat on your own.

Prices start at $13 (800 rubles) for one ride, and for an additional $6.5 (400 rubles) you can purchase an unlimited number of tours on the same boat on any given day.

Flotilla Radisson has official ticket offices at Gorky Park and Hotel Ukraine, but they’re often sold out.

Buying online is an option that might save some cash. Websites such as  this   offer considerable discounts for tickets sold online. On a busy Friday night an online purchase might be the only chance to get a ticket on a Flotilla Radisson boat.

This  website  (in Russian) offers multiple options for short river cruises in and around the city center, including offbeat options such as ‘disco cruises’ and ‘children cruises.’ This other  website  sells tickets online, but doesn’t have an English version. The interface is intuitive, however.

Buying tickets online has its bad points, however. The most common is confusing which pier you should go to and missing your river tour.

“I once bought tickets online to save with the discount that the website offered,” said Igor Shvarkin from Moscow. “The pier was initially marked as ‘Park Kultury,’ but when I arrived it wasn’t easy to find my boat because there were too many there. My guests had to walk a considerable distance before I finally found the vessel that accepted my tickets purchased online,” said the man.

There are two main boarding piers in the city center:  Hotel Ukraine  and  Park Kultury . Always take note of your particular berth when buying tickets online.

Where to sit onboard?

Even on a warm day, the headwind might be chilly for passengers on deck. Make sure you have warm clothes, or that the crew has blankets ready upon request.

The glass-encased hold makes the tour much more comfortable, but not at the expense of having an enjoyable experience.

Getting off the boat requires preparation as well. Ideally, you should be able to disembark on any pier along the way. In reality, passengers never know where the boat’s captain will make the next stop. Street hawkers often tell passengers in advance where they’ll be able to disembark. If you buy tickets online then you’ll have to research it yourself.

There’s a chance that the captain won’t make any stops at all and will take you back to where the tour began, which is the case with Flotilla Radisson. The safest option is to automatically expect that you’ll return to the pier where you started.

“It was created as the conduit for a thrilling experience—watching whales around the boat, dolphins surfing bow waves or passing glaciers in icy waters,” says Enrique Tintore, design manager for the Dutch line of expedition yachts , ranging from 197 to 345 feet. “The idea is to maximize the connection with nature, to look down over the front of the bow and feel an unusual connection. That’s something you can’t do on any other yacht.”

The open bows of Ferretti Yachts’ INFYNITO 90 , and recently announced INFYNITO 80, are less concerned with off-grid travel, but more about social possibilities. The 90 has an “All-Season Terrace” that connects directly with yacht’s outer passageways all the way back to the aft cockpit. The 90’s bow area is designed to be private, but still open, configured with lounges, a forward sunpad and Jacuzzi. Owners can even opt for a cocktail bar with stools. Like the Damen Xplorer, it has open sides and an open front, but the overhead offers protection with slats that can open if the owner and guests want direct sunlight. “We created it as an oasis to put the people living on board front and center,” says Ferretti’s Filippo Salvetti.

Both designers claim there are no structural downsides to these unusual bows, though Tintore admits that “green water” could wash over the front during rough-water crossings. “But guests can just step back into the enclosed observation lounge to enjoy the action with a cocktail.”

SYDNEY (AP) — Taylor Swift ’s father will not be charged over a paparazzi photographer's claim that Scott Swift assaulted him on the Sydney waterfront hours after the pop star’s Australian tour ended last month.

Photographer Ben McDonald had alleged that one of Swift’s security guards forced an umbrella into his face and camera and that Scott Swift then punched him at the Neutral Bay Wharf, where the father and daughter had just come ashore from a yacht Feb. 27.

Taylor Swift’s representatives responded by accusing members of the media of aggression during the interaction.

Police began investigating the incident at the time and announced Wednesday that “no further police action” would be taken.

"No offences were detected, and the investigation was concluded with no further police action required,” said the statement from the New South Wales Police Force.

More than 600,000 fans saw the Australian leg of her Eras Tour at seven Australian stadium concerts.

Her tour shattered records when it reportedly surpassed $1 billion last year , and her film adaptation of the tour quickly took No. 1 at the box office and became the highest-grossing concert film to date.
