Captain: Jacob Beman

Captain Jacob: Originally from Chicago, Jacob moved to the west coast in 2010 where he discovered his love for sailing. A single day trip in San Diego had him hooked and pretty soon he was chartering and eventually purchasing his first sailboat in 2014. In 2017 after spending several years sailing the coast of California and Mexico he quit his job as a hospitality manager and decided to pursue a full time career on the water. Over the last two years Jacob has spent the summer season in the Med working charters for everyone from honeymoon couples to giant flotillas of nearly 200 yachts! During the winter season of 2018 he moved to Australia to sail charters in New South Wales for the summer down under. When it warmed up in the north he returned to sail California and Mexico once again along with the Abaco's islands in the Bahamas. Since making the Virgin Islands his home he has explored the hidden gems and tourist hot spots to provide the trip of a lifetime for any guest. Always pursuing additional knowledge, Jacob has spent his time gaining experience on vessels ranging from 25 ft race boats to 85 ft luxury cruisers. Whether it's a mono hull or catamaran; big or small; as long as it's sailing the ocean blue it's the right boat. Chef Christina: A true New Yorker born and raised in Staten Island from two parents who grew up in Brooklyn, Christina prides herself on her personality and respectful family values. She believes this is what has shaped her personality which has been the foundation for her life. As an Italian American, food has always been an important part of her life. She believes there is no better way to spread love than with a home cooked meal, some great wine, and really good company. After graduating with a Masters Degree in Special Education, Christina worked as a preschool teacher in the greater New York area for over 5 years. It wasn’t until she took a trip to South Africa to teach English did she realize that her passion for travel, culture, and exploration exceeded her expectations. It was then that she realized she was settling for a comfortable life which she was good at, but ultimately it did not feed her soul. Unexpected events, call it serendipitous or not, have brought her to the sea and she could not have been more grateful. She has worked two seasons as a chef in destinations such as Greece, Croatia, and Montenegro. She has worked on a variety of different sailboats which allowed her to really grow her passion for sailing. As a chef Christina likes to keep her meals as healthy and tasty as possible. To her, flavor is most important and shouldn’t be compromised. Christina likes to cook with the best ingredients she can find, and believes freshness is key. Her cuisine is very exploratory in that she likes to use a variety of flavors, spices, and herbs rather than stick to one specifically. Christina believes people should have a cultural culinary experience when they are eating. She wants you to remember your sailing experience from that moment you see the breathtaking morning sunrise over the horizon to the smell of roasted chicken coming fresh out of the boat’s oven. She truly believes that sailing is an experience for your senses and she’s fully on board to give the best experience she possibly can.

This voluminous boat is easily maneuvered in complete autonomy, with cutting-edge technological equipment always at hand, and with reliability of solutions designed entirely within the walls of our shipyard.

Outdoors, relaxation is ensured by the sun loungers on the flybridge and in the bow area, reachable with ease and maximum safety. On the upper deck, you find a central helm station, a comfortable bar cabinet, a dining table with two sofas, and a panoramic, protected terrace. The bow area has an enviable sundeck, reachable thanks to wide, side-walkways and ergonomic handrails.

Aboard the Navetta 58, the spaces are designed having functionality and versatility in mind. They provide all guests with the maximum livability possible. The salon and cockpit—finely furnished and well-equipped—are perfect for a practical and dynamic life on board. The aft galley has a large worktop, a full-sized fridge, a four-burner cooktop, a sink, a dishwasher, and is separated by an electric sliding glass partition.

The helm station is ergonomic and has no central pillars on the windshield, ensuring unparalleled visibility whether standing or seated. The dashboard features EmpirBus home automation technology and can be equipped with two 17-inch GPS monitors with an access door to the side walkway to ease mooring operations.

The lower deck includes two comfortable and elegant double cabins. The master cabin is placed midship while the VIP suite is located in the bow. Both cabins featured pillarless double-sided windows, spacious wardrobes, generous storage capacity, refined furniture with high-quality materials, desks, vanity areas, and en suite heads. All my life I’ve craved adventurous exploration of this incredible planet that we call home—my curiosity is endless! After “adulting” for more than 20 years and spending way too much time behind a desk, I’m thrilled to finally be able to escape to Neverland.

I’ve been sailing for almost 10 years in many of the world’s most iconic sailing destinations, including Australia, French Polynesia, and all over the Mediterranean, Caribbean , and Andaman Seas. After completing sailing school in the Virgin Islands, my first official week as a skipper was in Croatia where I had chartered a catamaran and filled it with adventurous (and very trusting!) friends. We sailed, dove underwater caves, scaled rock walls, and cliff dived. We cooked great feasts and had floating dance parties under the moonlight in secluded coves. We had epic bike rides along the coast and toured wineries in convertibles. More than anything we simply reveled in the wonder of it all! Since that incredible and memorable maiden voyage, I’ve been organizing sailing adventures all over the world.

Scuba diving and exploring under the sea is another passion of mine, and as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor I’d love to help others learn to enjoy the magical underwater world that awaits! Neverland will be seeing some major upgrades to enable us to independently visit and dive some of the world’s most remote and unspoiled locations. I’m also learning more about freediving and spearfishing and can’t wait to start catching more of our meals.

Eryn's bio.

I’ve loved boats and being on the water for as long as I can remember. My summers growing up revolved around tubing on Lake Michigan behind my grandfather’s bowrider and playing King of the Hill with my cousins on a makeshift island of floating rafts. When my grandparents decided they were done with winter and moved to Florida, my parents followed suit and we left Chicago to stay close to family.

Always a motor-girl, my first sailing experience didn’t occur until the winter of 2014. I immediately fell in love with the movement and quiet nature of sailing. Since the inception of Neverland Cruises, John and I have hosted trips in Turkey, Spain, Italy, Thailand, French Polynesia, and throughout the Caribbean.

I earned my RYA Day Skipper license in 2018 and will always strive to be a lifelong learner at sea.

I have a passion for healthy, fresh food with a twist of comfort. I love taking cooking classes every new place we travel, most recently Thailand and Cambodia. My current favorite meals are maple-glazed salmon, or spicy papaya salad, and my signature cinnamon green smoothie.

I attained my RYT-200 yoga teaching certification on the lush island of Koh Samui, Thailand, and my Yin yoga certification in Bali. I love to flow through dynamic vinyasa-style sequences and end in deep soothing yin poses that will leave you floating through the rest of your day. Whether I’m teaching yoga on Neverland, up in the mountains of Colorado, or somewhere in-between, my most heartfelt desire in teaching is to spark a little of that magic waiting patiently within us all.

This adventure is challenging, fascinating, awe-inspiring and absolutely once-in-a-lifetime. I wake up every morning excited about what’s coming next, and no matter what we’re doing or who we’re with, I aspire to carry that excitement everywhere we go.

Lying Long Island GOP Rep. George Santos helped broker a $19 million deal for a lavish superyacht between two of his wealthiest donors weeks before last November’s election — a sale which has drawn the attention of federal and local investigators, according to a new report .

Santos, 34, helped Long Island car dealer Raymond Tantillo purchase the 141-foot boat from Mayra Ruiz, a Miami-based Republican donor, with a $12.25 million down payment and a further $6.5 million to be paid in installments, the New York Times reported Wednesday.

The plush yacht, the Neverland, which is docked in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., features an on-deck infinity pool and waterfall. It can also host 12 guests and seven crew members.

The transaction is being looked at by the FBI, prosecutors at the Justice Department, and the district attorney in Nassau County, which covers much of the district Santos reps in Congress.

Federal and local authorities have launched investigations into the Republican’s campaign finances and other conduct but reportedly have yet to speak with Tantillo about the exchange.

The yacht deal, which was finalized in September 2022, may have broken federal law if Santos accepted any commission in the form of campaign donations.

Santos’ self-reported net worth skyrocketed between his first and second runs for Congress, with the Republican claiming a jump in his annual income from $55,000 in 2020 to $750,000 in 2022.

A spokeswoman for Santos directed The Post to the congressman’s counsel, who did not respond to a request for comment. The FBI, the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, and the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office all declined to comment.

Santos divulged in a December interview with Semafor that he previously secured several million-dollar contracts for clients involving the sale of planes or boats as head of his company, Devolder Organization.

“If you’re looking at a $20 million yacht,” he said, “my referral fee there can be anywhere between $200,000 and $400,000.”

The Daily Beast revealed in December that Tantillo and Ruiz were Devolder clients. They have donated more than $17,000 and $13,700 to Santos’ campaign, respectively.

Lawyers for both donors denied any illicit financial dealings on the part of Santos when speaking with the Times.

“I have every reason to believe that Mr. Tantillo will not be charged for anything, including the purchase of a boat or campaign contributions,” said Tantillo’s attorney.

Ruiz’s husband, John, a billionaire health care and malpractice lawyer, reportedly bought the boat in 2019 from the Italian yacht maker Mangusta for 18 million euros ($18.9 million).

On Tuesday, Santos filed paperwork to run for re-election, despite the ongoing investigations into his finances as well as a House ethics probe stemming in part from lies about his background.
