Yes. We use a system called Cognito to ensure that payment information matches the renter's identity. We also require renters taking out a captained boat to be at least 18 years old and on a bareboat to be at least 25 years old.

Is listing my boat on Boatsetter free?

Yes! Listing a boat is completely free. We only take a commission when your boat is rented. We only make money when you do!

What if I'm not comfortable having a renter drive my boat?

If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

WHEN AND WHERE?

We charter 3 times per day leaving from Belmont Harbor: 10am - 2pm 2:45pm – 6:45pm 7:30pm – 11:30 pm

Are as low as $199 - $250 per hour on weekdays with a 4 hour minimum per session. Please contact us for weekend and Holiday pricing and don't miss out our MONTHLY SPECIALS OFFER (pricing provided upon request)!!!

Not included in the price, however we will provide you with the pre-approved Captain list to choose from and hire.

Not included in the price and it is $150 for 4-hour session. This fee is collected by the owner upon your booking via QuickPay/Zelle.

We will go boating rain or shine, the only way we will reschedule your reservation is when waves are above 5 feet; In this case you will have an opportunity to reschedule your reservation for another date (based on availability) at no charge.

US Coast Guard regulations

Please note, per US Coast Guard regulations, the Bareboat maximum capacity for rental is 12 passengers plus Captain and we will be able to accommodate only 12 people plus Captain. If you have more than 12 people in your group, we can add another yacht for you.

Captain Memo made this experience unforgettable, just like the name of his boat! He made sure we knew exactly where to meet him at the time of departure, supplied coolers and ice for us and had all the lake floats blown up and ready for us to relax in the lake. Couldn’t ask for a better cap to a first weekend experiencing Chicago. Captain Memo went out of his way to make the experience special, from making sure we always had a full drink in hand, to creating some Titanic-esque front of boat moments, to letting us take a turn at the helm. He even voluntarily let our time run long because we were all vibing to Frank Sinatra on the way back in to the docks. You will have a great time because he’s just a generally kind soul. Oh captain my captain!

Sail the lakefront aboard one of our FOUR Sea Ray Sundancer yachts.  Relax and experience the THRILL , the SKYLINE , the PLAYPEN , public or private BEACHES. See the sights, see the sunsets, enjoy the fireworks or the Air and Water Show from your privately rented yacht on LAKE MICHIGAN.

You are allowed to bring food and drinks on your charter.  We'll have an empty cooler, refrigerator and freezer on the boat.

*Owner provides a list of USCG Licensed Captains to choose from for your yacht rental voyages.

We book half-day and full-day charters!

Based on US Coast Guard regulations, our boats can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 guests plus captain.  Upon booking, we provide a list of USCG licensed captains for you to choose from.  

Charters start at the agreed start time - For your benefit, please arrive 20 minutes early.  Parking is available and Uber is even easier.   You choose where to go and what to do!

Please Note: Charter rates cover taxes, cleaning, and fuel. Captain and crew are not included but can be hired from our approved list or arranged independently by the client.

*Guests may select any duration with a minimum of 3 hours on weekdays (Mon-Fri).

**Guests may select from three available weekend time frames (Sat & Sun): 10AM-2PM, 2:45PM-6:45PM, or 7:30PM-11:30PM.
