A modern American restaurant with a live-fire culinary experience, Hurrica is a waterfront restaurant in Redwood City on the San Francisco Peninsula with spectacular views of the Westpoint Harbor. The restaurant is named in honor of the classic Hurrica V sailing yacht which will be docked in front of the restaurant for the opening. The historic sailing yacht embodies the style and glamour of the roaring twenties, was featured in the Oscar-winning movie The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, and whose attention to detail in her restoration stretches the imagination.

Hurrica Restaurant aims to be the destination for not only the public, but especially so for the yachting/boating community. The restaurant conveniently offers boaters up to 1,000 ft. of Guest Dock space. 500ft for the restaurant and 500ft for The Club at Westpoint, a water sports club located on Hurrica’s second floor offering sailing, kayaking, SUP and other water based events.

Founded by famed Chef Parke Ulrich (Co-Founding Partner), MeeSun Boice (Co-Founding Partner), Chef Justin Baade (Executive Chef/Partner), Erick Cadena (General Manager/Partner) and Julie Kurz (Events Director/Partner), this group set out to strip away the formalities of stuffy fine dining and instead focuses on the highest caliber of food & wine, while creating an atmosphere of comfortable elegance and belonging. They were honored to be invited by Mark and Maureen Sanders, the owners of both the Westpoint Harbor & Hurrica V yacht, to create a world-class restaurant at this certified Clean Marina.

After years of design and planning, Hurrica Restaurant will also reveal its expansive, custom-built, floor-to-ceiling, jellyfish aquarium, constructed by the expert team at Tenji Aquarium Design + Build. Furthering its allure, the restaurant offers the rare opportunity to arrive by land or sea, or visit the take-out “H2Go Cafe” by land or boat to enjoy fun offerings like old fashioned soft serve ice cream and root beer floats.

This hotel is perfect on every aspect. The location is convenient, close to the city centre, on the sea shore, near the yacht harbour, easy access to attractions, beaches, restaurants and shops, this environment is quite beautiful. The facilities are new and clean, with a amazing seaside garden, a good restaurant and bar, swimming pool and Turkish bath inside. The breakfast is included and superb. I stayed in a family suite, the room is spacious and comfortable, with separate bedrooms, and a large balcony with Jacuzzi, very quiet at night. The hotel provides valet parking for free. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, responding to all kinds of requirements instantly. My family really enjoyed the stay in the hotel.

Very classy hotel with wonderfull setting,staff and ambiance rooms are so clean. quality of breakfast is so high. mori restaurant located in the garden by the sea is real bonus… must try….

The restaurant is excellent. The new bar area is very attractive. All the staff, from Reception to Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is quite a walk from Fethiye centre, the taxis are cheap and can be ordered from Reception. The views across the Marina is lovely.

The Family suite room was very spacious for our family of four, with two bathrooms. The hotel was amazing and the staff were excellent. Our bags were collected upon arrival and the porter also parked our hire car for us in the carpark. Housekeeping was brilliant, fresh towels and sheets daily, room tidied and bins emptied, mini bar re stocked. Breakfast choice was vast, and again the waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. The same staff served in the evening at the Mori restaurant.

The 40 rooms are spacious and elegant; the best have coffeemakers, whirlpools, Turkish baths, private cabanas, and direct pool access from generous balconies while the cheapest options have mountain views and lack balconies. The gorgeous terraced grounds include four dreamy pools, a hot tub, and a small beach. There’s an excellent spa, a restaurant for delicious local and regional cuisine (with 24-hour room service), and poolside, lobby, and swim-up bars. Smart, shrubbery-lined cobblestone paths connect the unassuming main building and whitewashed freestanding villas. The posh lobby has chandeliers dangling from vaulted ceilings with intricate murals, handsome mismatched armchairs and ottomans, and gallery-style displays on white-brick accent walls alongside statement mirrors and floor lamps. There are wallpapered alcoves, elaborately framed TVs, and a sleek curved, brown-marble-topped front desk beneath elegant pendant downlighting. Outside, the open-air restaurant, beside a gorgeous boardwalk, adds to the romance and inclusive intimacy that attracts both couples and families.

Three-person Deluxe Suites have bigger balconies, with armchairs, sunbeds, and pebble-finished whirlpools.

Penthouse Villas feature handsome dark-wood flooring, four-poster beds with white drapes and ottomans, and cream armchairs. High white-marble-topped sideboards sit beneath long pendant downlighting, and there are separate desks. Tiled balconies have armchairs, sunbeds, and similarly good views.

Amenities include flat-screen cable TVs, air-conditioning, phones, free Wi-Fi, safes, minibars, coffee- and tea-making facilities, hairdryers, miniature toiletries, and slippers. Pricier rooms add bathrobes, Nespresso coffeemakers, and iPod docks.
