Altr will offer luxury collectibles and give “collectors an easy way to purchase rare and fine collectibles either in full or as a fraction using USDt Stablecoin,” according to a description on its website . Oracles on the platform are “renowned experts” that conduct appraisals, valuations, and help with secure storage. One of those Oracles is Italian dealer Car & Car , who collaborated with the platform for the feat. McLaren Automotive was also tagged as a partner in the post, according to an Instagram post.
The new platform also facilitates the digitization of a person’s existing assets and use them as collateral to borrow liquidity without selling their goods. “A digital proof of ownership, in the form of an NFT, is issued and can be held, traded, collateralized, or redeemed for the physical item at any time,” the site explains.

You might be feeling deja vu because a similar flex was recently performed by an Australian businessman. Adrian Portelli hoisted his $3 million McLaren Senna GTR up 57 floors to the top of a luxury residential tower in Melbourne. An entire side of the building was deconstructed to help a crew get the vehicle up that high.

How This Ferrari F40 Ended Up On A Superyacht At The Monaco GP
Seen from all angles aboard this giant vessel, the famous ferrari f40 made its appearance in an unusual spot..
Monaco, a tiny city-state on the French Riviera, has a reputation as the playground of the rich and famous. The streets of Monaco are lined with high-end casinos, high-end retail shops, luxury hotels, and Michelin-starred restaurants, catering to the affluent crowd who come here to indulge themselves. Every year, the prestigious city hosts the Formula One Grand Prix, attracting some of the world’s wealthiest individuals. While it’s perfectly normal to see multi-million dollar superyachts docked alongside the race course for the perfect view, it’s rare to see a classic Ferrari F40 displayed on the deck of one.

Ferrari F40 lifted by crane on yacht in Monaco is the biggest flex
It'll be on display this weekend during the f1 race..
Flaunting your wealth is considered tacky, but if there's one place on Earth where you can do it without raising any eyebrows, it's in Monaco. One of the 1,311 F40s built by Ferrari is currently hosted on an opulent yacht (aren't they all?) for this weekend's Formula 1 Grand Prix. The iconic supercar built during the late 1980s and early 1990s is a common occurrence in the sovereign city-state on the French Riviera but on the roads rather than on a boat's deck.
If all of this seems a bit familiar, that's because it was only a couple of weeks ago when multi-millionaire Adrian Portelli's made his McLaren Senna a permanent addition to his penthouse in Melbourne, Australia. He lifted the track-focused supercar no fewer than 57 stories off the ground in the Sapphire by the Gardens tower. As for this F40, it has a different future as putting it on a yacht is all part of a publicity stunt.
Altr is a luxury online boutique that lets you buy fancy items using cryptocurrency. According to a description published on the company's website, Altr represents a "gateway to the world of luxury collectables, offering collectors an easy way to purchase rare and fine collectables either in full or as a fraction using USDt Stablecoin. Additionally, Altr allows collectors to digitise their existing collections and use them as collateral to borrow liquidity without selling them. A digital proof of ownership, in the form of an NFT, is issued and can be held, traded, collateralised, or redeemed for the physical item at any time."
Watch more Monaco fun:
It's joining forces with Italian dealer Car & Car to sell high-end vehicles on the platform, and chances are this F40 will lead the way as there's a dedicated "Cars" section on Altr's website listed as "Coming Soon."
Putting such a rare and valuable car on a yacht is sure to make a splash even in Monaco where ultra-expensive vehicles are everywhere. With the F1 race this weekend, they couldn't have picked a better time to put the F40 on the Quinta Essentia, a lavish 55-metre-long (180-foot) yacht that costs somewhere in the region of £32.3 million.

People are wondering why there’s a Ferrari F40 on the deck of a yacht in Monaco

There will be no shortage of wealth on show at this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix .
With superyachts lining the harbor and Champagne parties taking place all over the place, it really is a playground for the rich and famous.
They like to take things to the extreme, too.
READ MORE! Superyacht crashes into dock twice but it could have been a lot worse
It’s not considered proper etiquette flaunting your wealth, but if there’s one place on Earth where you can get away with it, it’s Monaco.
A Ferrari F40 hosted on the deck of a yacht steals the show, though.
Although there were only 1,311 F40s built by Ferrari, they’re a common sight in the sovereign city-state on the French Riviera.
Mind you, this is possibly the first time one has been hosted on the deck of a yacht.
There’s something about rich people wanting to park their cars in unusual places.
You may recall we recently wrote about an insane $48 million villa with its own supercar glass room .
Then there was that McLaren Senna which was hoisted into a $39m penthouse apartment on the 57th floor.
As for this Ferrari F40, it has a different future, as putting it on a yacht is all part of a publicity stunt.
To be fair, they couldn’t have picked a better time to put the F40 on the Quinta Essentia, a lavish 180-foot-long yacht that cost in the region of $40 million.
The company behind the publicity stunt is Altr , a luxury online boutique that lets you buy fancy items using cryptocurrency.
It’s joining forces with Car & Car, an Italian dealer, to sell high-end vehicles on the platform.
Chances are, the Ferrari F40 will make an appearance on there, as there’s a dedicated “Cars” section on Altr’s website listed as “Coming Soon”.
It’s a bold stunt hosting a Ferrari on the deck of a yacht, but it’s one that’s likely to pay off, as it’s already got people talking.

There’s No Better Way Of Flaunting Your Wealth Than Loading A Ferrari F40 Onto Your Superyacht
Those behind secondary marketplace Altr thought of a unique way to stand out during the Monaco Grand Prix
by Brad Anderson
Every year, the Monaco Grand Prix attracts a dizzying number of high-profile celebrities, multi-millionaires, and billionaires. In fact, it has become one of the go-to events for these people to flash their wealth and for this weekend’s race, the harbor was filled with dozens of massive privately-owned superyachts. Of them, there was one that really got automotive enthusiasts talking.
This particular superyacht was brought to the Monaco Grand Prix by Altr, a secondary marketplace where small ‘fragments’ of rare collectibles and vehicles can be purchased. For example, a Rolex Daytona 6265/8 was recently sold and split into 500 fragments, meaning any collector can purchase as little as 1 fragment, or 0.2% of the watch.

For the F1 extravaganza, Altr partnered with Italian luxury car dealership Car & Car and loaded a rare Ferrari F40 onto the front deck of the yacht. The yacht then explored the Mediterranean before arriving at its parking spot in the tiny principality’s marina.

As you can imagine, having a bright red F40 sitting on the deck of the yacht made it stand out from all others in Monaco. Of course, it’s not particularly practical as the legendary supercar had to be craned onto the yacht and obviously couldn’t be driven once it had been positioned in place.
A staggering array of yachts were present throughout the weekend. One of the largest of them all is dubbed Octopus and is a 126.2-meter vessel that was recently used on a trip around Antarctica. It can accommodate up to 26 guests and is available to charter for an eye-watering $2.2 million per week. The yacht used by Altr is known as Quinta Essentia and is a 55m yacht available to charter from €280,000 ($300,000) per week.

Monaco’s Grand Flex: Luxury Car Hoisted Onto 180-Foot Yacht
BY Kim Luna
Monaco’s attention-grabbing stunt of hoisting a luxury car onto the deck of a magnificent 180-foot yacht during the F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2023.
The F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2023 witnessed an exceptional performance by Max Verstappen, who flawlessly dominated the race to clinch his fourth triumph of the season.

However, amidst the thrilling racing action, the attention of onlookers was also captivated by the presence of the iconic Ferrari F40, currently showcased on a lavish yacht for this exclusive weekend event.
While displays of wealth are generally frowned upon, Monaco stands as a unique exception. In this glamorous paradise, it’s perfectly normal to show off wealth without causing any surprise or disapproval.
Although there were only 1,311 F40s built by Ferrari, which was made in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it is not an unusual sight to see in the city-state on the French Riviera.
But what really catches people’s attention is when these fancy cars are placed on the deck of a yacht, making for an even more captivating sight. It adds an extra level of charm and fascination to the already magical atmosphere of Monaco.
The impressive stunt was accomplished by Altr , a high-end cryptocurrency platform that made its official debut during the Monaco Grand Prix.
Altr’s marketplace shared images and videos on Instagram showcasing a yacht that proudly carried a vibrant red Ferrari F40 for the weekend’s festivities.
In this particular video , the sports car can be seen carefully descending onto the upper deck of the yacht, showcasing a remarkable display of precision and coordination.
“Do you like rare and iconic supercars? The Ferrari F40, hailed as one of the greatest sports cars ever created, is the essence of raw power and uncompromising performance. Its striking design and exceptional engineering make the F40 the pinnacle of collectible supercars,” Altr said in a caption.

Dear God, 30 F40s Blasted Through Italy For Ferrari's First Legacy Tour
Here's one of ferrari's most iconic models, and their owners had a fun time..
The first Ferrari Legacy Tour was a three-day journey from September 27 through September 30 across twisty Italian roads specifically for the brand's iconic F40. There were 30 examples of the classic supercar along for the drive, plus a few additional vehicles from the Prancing Horse. They also had a police escort. This video captured some highlights of the trip.
The journey began at the Augustus Hotel & Resort in Forte dei Marmi, which is in Italy's Tuscany region. The video catches the F40s in a parking lot, and it's an impressive sight. Ferrari made 1,311 examples of the supercar , and dozens of them took part in the journey. Judging from the license plates, there was a mix of owners from the United States and European countries.
Gallery: Ferrari F40 prototype cutaway sketch by David Kimble
The trip took the drivers through twisty roads through rural parts of Italy, like the small town of San Miniato. The second day focused on Italy's Apennine Mountains. These mountain roads were once part of the Mille Miglia course, where Ferrari found racing success. The video shows the F40s with their exhaust pipes crackling as the drivers weave through the tight tracks.
Eventually, they made it to Ferrari's home in Maranello, Italy. The participants even got to take a parade lap around the automaker's Fiorano test track and an acceleration run while leaving the gates from the automaker's headquarters.
The mint green example from this year's Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este was also there. It breaks up the red color palette from the rest of the cars.
Check Out These Ferrari F40s:
After arriving at Ferrari's HQ, the owners got to take a lap of the Fiorano test circuit and had the opportunity to do an acceleration run out the gates from the headquarters. If you had an F40 in your garage, it looked like a great time.
Nearly 35 years since the F40's premiere, the model continues to be a spectacle among supercars. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V8 that makes 471 horsepower. A five-speed manual was the only gearbox available.

68 new Monegasque citizens in 2023
On Thursday, around thirty “new Monegasques” were welcomed at Monaco Town Hall.
The traditional reception is organised by the municipality in honour of people who have acquired Monegasque nationality over the previous year, either by law or by Sovereign Order.
In the Town Hall wedding room, Camille Svara, acting mayor in the absence of Georges Marsan, welcomed the guests “to the great Monegasque family,” before presenting them with symbolic gifts, including a reproduction of the original document of the Monegasque national anthem, written in 1931 by Monegasque poet Louis Notari. Members of the Town Council were also present, and the reception concluded with the anthem, performed by the Rainier III Academy Children’s Choir.
This brings the total number of Monegasque nationals registered on 31 December 2023 to 9,790. 67% of them obtained Monegasque nationality by descent, 19% by marriage and 14% were naturalised by Sovereign Order.
