The vessel includes float in float out wet dock that will be able to hold a 65-70 foot sport fisherman in the stern, when the sport fish is removed the tender well becomes a deep swimming pool.  She is diesel electric with Azipod drives.   The vessel has the capability of landing two helicopters and can house both helicopters in a single hangar.  The vessel also has a large tender garage that could hold multiple smaller vessels including a RIB, flats boat, jets skis and two submarines.  The vessel has accommodations for 18 guests and crew of 36.  The vessel would be commercial fit and finish on the exterior and the interior are envisioned to be built to high end cruise ship standards.

The 75m Explorer, by Admiral Shipyards is an example of a Semi Custom Build. The yacht’s exterior design, which remains unnamed, is a display of an elegant yet robust platform with generous exterior deck spaces. The expansive aft deck is designed to accommodate an Agusta Grande helicopter, complete with a storage and refueling hangar below deck.

The interior is spread across four decks and will be finished in a timeless nautical style that is finished with contemporary elements, which will be built and installed by German interio specialists, Fitz Interior. The owner, who is expected to spend prolonged period onboard, will be treated to an exclusive main deck area covering over 300 square metres with five additional guest suites on the lower deck.

The interior, which was spearheaded was Design Unlimited, has been labeled “personal and alluring.” The layout includes six lavish suites for up to 12 guests, along with cabins for 15 crew and two expedition staff. On the bridge deck, you’ll will find a sky lounge and dining area with prime views. Seafarers can enjoy more panoramic vistas from the SeaXplorer’s signature observation lounge in the bow.

Outside, meanwhile, you can relax in the cabana-style bar and lounge, cool of in the giant infinity pool or soak in the bridge deck’s Jacuzzi. To encourage further exploration, the yacht is equipped with a helideck and a wide range of toys, including a custom 37-foot sailboat, two tenders, a couple of motorcycles and vehicles for both on and off-road use.

The SeaXplorer 58 will now undergo her final build phase in preparation for delivery to her owner in spring. “We are very excited at the successful accomplishment of this milestone of the project,” Tolga Karacadal, operations manager of yachting at the Antalya shipyard, said in a statement. “Having seen the yacht in the water for the first time, it’s clear to see that she will be a head turner.”

Vitruvius yachts (a brand by philippe briand ) presents a new explorer yacht platform in seven different versions..

The new concept contains the typical explorer design features with open aft deck and the capabilities to transport tenders and toys including sailing yachts with standing masts, helipad or a two-level garage. But the concepts contains also a 45m crossover concept.

“Our team is driven by pushing the frontiers of yacht design,” said Philippe Briand, designer and naval architect at Vitruvius Yachts . “Of course, the needs and functions of expedition yachts, explorers and Mediterranean yachts would at first seem independent of one another. But there are clear intersections where we can create solutions that span multiple categories.”

“We understand that today’s owners want to use their yachts to host glamorous parties on the French Riviera or the Greek Islands as well as venture to remote Pacific islands or even the polar regions. In response, we have created a collection of concepts that showcases the iterations transitioning from expedition to explorer to Mediterranean yacht. It helps an owner to visualize where they would like to place their yacht in terms of capabilities across different environments,” added Briand .

The stunning 55m ice-class expedition yacht STEEL represents our largest volume project to date and one of the most original bespoke new build projects to be created at Pendennis. Launched in early 2009, her elegant interior styling and robust exterior lines are the result of a collaboration between the yacht Owner, Pendennis and yacht designers Liebowitz & Pritchard Architecture + Yacht Design, whilst the naval architecture was completed by Burness Corlett & Partners in Southampton. Built to +100 AL Lloyds, 1a Ice Class, STEEL is also fully MCA compliant with long range capabilities. The vessel employs state-of-the-art systems, fitout, and equipment – much of it bespoke. Built primarily in steel with aluminium deckhouse and upperworks, the 700ton vessel has a rounded stern underbody which effectively aids ship stability in following seas. At anchor, four Quantum Zero-Speed stabilisers attenuate roll substantially. Exterior features include imposing high prow, functional “work deck” forward, hydraulic Rondal elevating crow’s nest, expansive sundeck, hydraulic side “beaches”, 29ft jet Owner’s tender (amongst others), active-current spa pool, sophisticated boarding systems, and sculptural rounded stern. The yacht returned to Pendennis in 2016 for minor engineering and survey works. Her hull was repainted to midnight blue, a stark contrast to her previous unique green hull.
