Where is the Yacht in the Fortnite map?

Here's where you can find the Yacht in Fortnite.

Donovan Erskine

Epic Games has gotten pretty creative with their season challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale. Typically tasking players with finding items in certain locations, or eliminating players, it can be a lot to keep up with. Add on top of that the fact that Fortnite’s map is constantly changing, and it's hard to know where everything is. Chapter 2 Season 3 has arrived and some of the challenges have players wondering, where is the Yacht in the Fortnite map?

One of the challenges in Fortnite Season 3 asks players to land at the Yacht and finish top 25. Players simply need to land at the Yacht, and then survive long enough to make it to the final 25 players alive. The Yacht referenced in the challenge is not the ship where Meowscles resided in Season 2, but an entirely new location that must be discovered.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

The Yacht can be found just northwest of Craggy Cliffs, stationed in the water. Before discovering the location, the yacht will be shadowed out. Since it’s an unnamed point of interest, “The Yacht” will still not be listed on the map after visiting it.

Now all you have to do is land here after jumping from the battle bus, and then survive to the top 25. There’s bound to be a large number of players all landing at the Yacht to start the game, also looking to complete the challenge. We advise that you land and then make a quick escape, or prepare for a fight.

Now that you know where the Yacht is in the Fortnite map, you’re ready to cross off another challenge on your way to leveling up the battle pass and unlocking that exclusive Aquaman skin . Fortnite Deadpool floaties at The Yacht explained

Where to find three of Deadpool's floaties.

Finding three Deadpool floaties at The Yacht is one of the new challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3.

While The Yacht is a familiar location for many Fortnite players, due to the flooding of the map , it's location has been moved. Deadpool has also taken this as an opportunity to give The Yacht some improvements.

Completing this challenge will reward you with a good deal of XP, which will help you climb through the Season 3 Battle Pass and unlock a variety of new skins.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed . What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades , along with the new Battle Pass , character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite .

Thanks to the flooding of the Fortnite map , The Yacht has been moved to the move northerly section of the map and can be found in E1. This is north of the remains of both Pleasant Park and Craggy Cliffs.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

The Yacht is divided into the main body of the old yacht, where you can find the remains of the dance floor, and then there are other smaller areas attached it, constructed out of other boats and shipping containers.

You can land anywhere on The Yacht to begin your search for the Deadpool floaties, but keep your wits about you. This area is full of good loot, so there's a good chance you'll run into another player.

Due to being on the edges of the map, The Yacht is usually one of the first areas to become lost in the storm too.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

You only need to find and search three Deadpool floaties, so once you've seen them, we suggest heading for land as quickly as possible.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is here! It brings a free Lego Insider skin and redemption codes with it, along with a new Victory Umbrella . We've also got pages on new features like Medallions , Weapon Mods , and how to complete a Train Heist . Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are in the current season, how to get XP fast , and what the best PC settings are to help earn a Victory Crown .

During your search for the Deadpool floaties, it's important to remember that you need to search them to complete the challenge.

To find the first Deadpool floatie, head to the very back of The Yacht and land on the middle deck.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

From there, head into the room on the right-hand side of the deck and you'll find the floatie on the ground inside.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

For the second Deadpool floatie, you need to head to the lowest level of the main part of The Yacht. The easiest way to find this area is to keep to the water level section of The Yacht and then head through the door, which sits between two large sections of piping.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

Down in these depths, you'll find the floatie next to a small green screen, with a chest sitting in front of it.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

For the third and final Deadpool floatie, head to where the Deadpool choppa sits at the front end of The Yacht.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

Once you're there, look to your left and you'll see a small bedroom area inside one of the shipping containers. Inside this made up room, you'll find the Deadpool floatie.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

There may be other Deadpool floaties hiding out in The Yacht, but you only need to find these three to complete the challenge. Just remember to search them or else it won't count!

Fortnite: Chapter 2 Season 3 - Where to find Deadpool's floaties at The Yacht

It's Week 2 of Fortnite's new Season and it looks like Deadpool has left his junk all over the map again.

For this Chapter 2: Season 3 challenge, you'll need to find three of Deadpool's floaties on The Yacht. These inflatable items are fairly easy to spot and the areas they are in are likely to get quite busy, so try to land at each location first or grab a few weapons before you head over.

There are several floaties at The Yacht but you only need to find three to complete the challenge. So, let's take a look at where to find them.

A movie night is being held in Fortnite this Friday on June 26, and during this time you can watch one of three Christopher Nolan films - depending on your region - which you can check out here.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 Season 3 - Where to find Deadpool's floaties at The Yacht

The Yacht is found at the top of the map in E1. You'll see lots of Deadpool paraphernalia everywhere, despite Aquaman being the hero of the season. You're on the lookout for inflatable horse floaties with a Deadpool twist, which can be found all over The Yacht. You only need three to complete the challenge, so here's where to look:

  • In the orange shipping container with the telescope on top and boxes out front, on the right of The Yacht
  • At the top of The Yacht where the large bell is kept, hiding in a corner of a room
  • Beneath a Deadpool umbrella between two sunbeds

Once you've found a floaty, search it then move on to the next. Happy hunting!

Fortnite Season 3 Week 2 Challenges: Deadpool floaties and The Yacht locations

This challenge is part of Fortnite Season 3 Week 2 Challenges and you'll have to get your hands on three Deadpool floaties. Following the tidal wave that struck the island, the superhero's luxury ship drifted westward and lost its local landmark label. But don't worry, The Yatch still exists!

The first stage of the challenge will be to land on The Yatch , north-east of Pleasant Park.

Fortnite

In the attic

The first one is under the roof of The Yacht. In one of the west-facing rooms, you will find the first Deadpool floatie on the ground.

Fortnite

Between the west-facing deckchairs

Descend two floors to reach the second floatie. It's located between two deckchairs, under an umbrella. It's on the deck of the ship which faces west and the Lockie lighthouse.

Fortnite

In the orange container

The last floatie is in the orange box on the forward extension of the wreck. The container in question seems to have been turned into a makeshift chamber. You'll find the floatie on the floor at the foot of the bed.

Fortnite

At the back

Note that a fourth floatie can be found on the aft deck of the boat under a roof. The challenge stipulates that three floaties need to be collected to complete it.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2: The Yacht Location Guide, Loot Locations, Where To Drop

Ever wanted your very own super-yacht? Well, this isn't quite the same, but you could certainly do worse than landing on The Yacht to start your Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 career. But where is best to land, and where is the best loot? We've got you covered.

chapter 2 season 3 yacht

Published: 26 Feb 2020 10:53 AM +00:00 Updated: 08 Apr 2021 9:14 AM +00:00

Fornite Chapter 2 Season 2 offers a host of exciting changes to the map we all knew and loved throughout Season 1, including a super-yacht that has sailed into the north-east corner of the map.

The Yacht includes a whole host of loot, plenty of secret passages, and a giant golden statue of the elusive Midas. Nothing says humble like a giant golden statue of yourself, right?

If you're planning on dropping to The Yacht, head to the north of Steamy Stacks, but be sure not to miss and end up stranded in the ocean.

From there, follow our tips to make the most of your time at sea, and emerge ready and equipped to deal with the battle ahead.

Be sure to watch our wide variety of Fortnite content here!

Best Landing Spots

You can land pretty much anywhere you want on The Yacht, but some areas are much better than others.

We'd suggest landing on the back of the boat, but on the very top can work as well.

The front of the boat (with the large H Helipad) doesn't offer much loot and has plenty of NPC Henchmen patrolling.

Your main aim is to get to the vault in the basement of The Yacht, via the NPC boss Meowscles to grab the key card which will grant you access.

Meowscles patrols the main room at the centre of the boat, and your best chance of access is from the rear, as you can take cover under the stairway so other guards don't see you.

The alternative is disguising yourself in the telephone box at the front of the boat so you can walk in uninterrupted by NPCs - but this takes a long time while rival players are busy looting.

Loot Locations

As always, head straight for the vault when you arrive on The Yacht. Grab the keycard from Meowscles, beat the Henchmen, and get your goodies.

Meowscles' signature Legendary AK isn't really that good, so don't bother picking that up.

Watch out for players camping the vault, but the Supply Caches inside should sort you out with a full complement of loot.

Then take the Porta-Potty out of there, and find the three chests in the storage containers at the other end.

This puts you out on the mainland, ready to head towards the centre and the bigger fights.

Finding Cover

The Yacht is a surprisingly open area, especially on the front deck and in the main room.

After killing Meowscles, try to stick to the higher ground or the basement areas to avoid getting shot.

There are a lot of NPC Henchmen in this small area, so be careful even when landing alone, or take cover in the smaller rooms beside the big room - the ones with the cat flaps that you have to crawl through.

These are great places to top up your shields, as you'll see and hear enemies coming.

Best Weapons

While you may prefer a shotgun below decks, Assault Rifles remain the best choice on top.

There are some longer-ranged areas, and you may need to take out Meowscles from a distance to avoid being taken out by massed Henchmen.

The Assault Rifles will come in handy once you go through the Porta-Potty and end up on the mainland.

You'll find yourself pretty open, and aside from campers at the exit, so the range will come in handy.

Pros And Cons

The Yacht is a little bit loot lite, and quite far from anywhere else on the map. If it's near the Battle Bus path, it'll likely be busy with everyone after the sweet vault loot, but if it's too far then your time could be better spent elsewhere.

If you're headed to Steamy Stacks and it seems a bit busy, The Yacht may be a good second choice, but other areas seem to offer better rewards this season.

The Yacht was a Landmark in Battle Royale added in Chapter 2 Season 2 , located inside the coordinate E1 , north of Blue Steel Bridge (POI) and near Unremarkable Shack . As the name implies, it is a giant yacht. There was a Reboot Van located on a small island just next to the location before The Yacht moved. Deadpool patrolled the area with his Mythic Hand Cannons . Before Deadpool took over the location, it was patrolled by the GHOST version of Meowscles .

The Island Map

Fortnite chapter 2 season 2 vault locations and map changes.

Five new locations were introduced at the launch of Fortnite's Season 2, Chapter 2 . Each of the new locations appears as Named Locations on the map and contains a special Vault. Below is a little bit of info about each of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 new locations , map changes, and Vaults.

The new locations in Fortnite are: The Shark, The Yacht, The Agency, The Grotto, and The Rig. Some of the new locations in Fortnite Season 2, Chapter 2 can also be spotted in the season trailer above.

Fortnite-Chapter-2-Season-2-New-Locations-Map.png

Appropriately named, the Shark is a mansion that sits on an island in the northwest corner of the map, shown in red above. It shouldn’t take players long to figure out why the island is called the Shark.

Fortnite-Chapter-2-The-Shark.JPG

Players can visit the above-ground portion of the island or they can enter through the mouth of the shark to explore an underground area.

The Yacht is, well, a yacht! Indicated by the purple arrow in the map above, the ship is docked just off of the northeastern shore and has five different levels for players to explore.

Fortnite-Chapter-2-The-Yacht.JPG

If you need a break from the island, the Yacht will offer a nice change of scenery and a couple of cool treasures!

The Agency is the headquarters for our beloved characters this season and is shown in orange above. If you’re not familiar with the new skins this season, be sure to check out all of the skins included in the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass .

Fortnite-Chapter-2-The-Agency.JPG

Located in the dead center of the island, the Agency offers players plenty of places to explore and things to uncover.

The Grotto is an underground facility located along the eastern edge of the map, as indicated by the light blue arrow in the map above.

Fortnite-Chapter-2-The-Grotto.JPG

At this time, not a lot is known about what goes on in the underground bunker, but it appears to be some type of top secret spy headquarters. So, make sure you drop by and have a look around.

The Rig is very similar to that of a deep sea oil rig and is located just off the southwestern coast, seen in yellow on the map at the top of the page.

Fortnite-Chapter-2-The-Rig.JPG

The isolated structure appears to belong to a company known as Spillexx, as they have plenty of containers littered around The Rig.

What Are Fortnite Vaults?

Vaults can be found within each of the new Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 locations. In order to ender the Vault and receive some desirable loot, players will need to obtain a keycard by killing the miniboss in that area.

Fortnite-Vault-Key.JPG

Each location will have a different miniboss, who will be protected by henchmen. In order to obtain the keycard and unlock the Vault, players will need to kill the miniboss, not the henchmen.

Below are all of the Fortnite Vault minibosses in each of the new map locations:

  • The Shark - Skye
  • The Yacht - Meowscles
  • The Agency - Midas
  • The Grotto - Brutus
  • The Rig - TNTina

Once you've killed the miniboss guarding your specific Fortnite Vault, you'll need to pick up the keycard and locate the Vault.

Fortnite-Vault-Loot.JPG

Once you've found it, use the keycard to scan in and collect your treasures. However, be careful, because Vaults are closely guarded!

Now that you’ve learned a little bit about all of the new locations, map changes, and Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 , queue up a game and have a look around!

The Best Fortnite Landing Spots In Chapter 5 Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 introduced the pantheon of Greek gods to Fortnite, and it added four related major locations to the battle royale map in the process, dramatically shaking up the island's balance. The new season also added plenty of stuff in between those new places, most notably the bunkers littering the map that contain three rare chests, a half-dozen weapon cases, and a mod bench.

These changes mean most of our favorite landing spots from Season 1 aren't ideal anymore, but that's okay--we've found some new ones. Read on for the best places to land in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, with helpful map images to guide you.

The main clubhouse at Classy Courts

The main clubhouse at Classy Courts

Classy Courts is by far my favorite returning location from Season 1, but it's slightly different now--all those coolers with the fish were removed from the tennis courts, removing one of the main reasons to drop directly onto the actual courts. With that change, the clubhouse is the best place to land--you'll have plenty of loot for the squad, there are two slurp kegs and two slap kegs in the back, and, most importantly, you'll actually have cover.

Alternative: the nearby train station

Alternative: the nearby train station

The train station just southwest of Classy Courts has a similar amount of loot as the clubhouse, plus a vending machine and a mission board (whatever the new mission things are called), and you'll be a little further from the action if things are particularly spicy.

On the boss trigger at Brawler's Battleground

On the boss trigger at Brawler's Battleground

I've gotten fond of triggering the boss fights as soon as possible at any of the big new locations that have them--not to fight them immediately, but rather to add a chaotic wild card to the equation right off the bat. But it's a more effective tactic at Brawler's Battleground than the other spots because the fight happens right in the open in the middle of the location (unlike at Underworld or Mount Olympus), and all the NPC enemies have guns (unlike the wolves at the Grim Gate). This move will absolutely get you killed sometimes, but there's a good chance you'll have a wild ride as long as you focus on the real players and don't fall for your own trick.

Alternative: the little house down the hill to the west

Alternative: the little house down the hill to the west

Ares is a popular target because his mythic Warforged AR is just as dope as Nisha's win-button of a gun was last season. If it's just too much, there's a house to the west, down a steep dropoff that's worked fairly well for me as a refuge from the madness of Brawler's Battleground. And if you go further west from here, you'll enter this season's biggest dead zone. Speaking of which...

Anywhere in the big stretch of coast between Brawler's Battleground and Snooty Shores

Anywhere in the big stretch of coast between Brawler's Battleground and Snooty Shores

Brawlers' Battleground, Fencing Fields and Snooty Shores form a triangle that contains three large landmark locations, each of which has enough stuff to outfit a full squad. And unless the storm circle pushes everyone to this part of the map, it's usually pretty dead because, well, it's a boring area. If you want a peaceful landing, this is where you should look. As a bonus, the hireable Aphrodite NPC lives at the restaurant by the train station, and she's one of those who will periodically heal you with Chug Splashes. Plus, the island mansion--just a zipline away from the restaurant--has a vault in it.

Lavish Lair parking lot

Lavish Lair parking lot

Without the anthropomorphic tiger and his mythic shotgun, Lavish Lair is a lot more chill this season. But the NPC Artemis, who periodically pings enemy players if you hire her, lives in the parking lot now. That means that you frequently won't be the only one after her--she seems to be a fairly common target for landings. But if you get her first, those pings can turn the tide of any battle you find yourself in--and she's one of only two current hireable NPCs that can do that.

Alternative: the train station up the hill

Alternative: the train station up the hill

To the south of Lavish Lair is a train station that I accidentally ended up at so many times that it ended up being one of my favorite in-between places--and it hosts anNPC who drops a purple-quality weapon, plus there's a guaranteed legendary chest in its mini-vault. If somebody's gonna beat you to Artemis, this is a great backup spot.

The old drone factory

The old drone factory

I still love Pleasant Piazza and Fencing Fields, but both of those spots are "play it by ear" places. By that I mean, when you drop at one of those places it's best to choose your landing spot based on the situation at hand, rather than going to the same place every time. But right smack between these two locations is that drone factory. It's not nearly as good of a spot as it was when the Underground base was across the street, but that change has turned an unusually popular drop spot into a totally deserted one. But the drone building itself is still heavy with loot, and it spawns loot drones, which are guaranteed to drop both a weapon and health or shields, every single match. It's reliable.

The Marigold

The Marigold

This yacht anchored off the western side of the island is secluded from everything else, has enough loot sources, and is home to an NPC (Brutus) who sells purple-quality Frenzy Shotguns. If opponents land with you you'll be in a fight super quickly, but those fights will be more contained than they would be at a location on land, because it's tough to run and hide here without leaving the place entirely.

The small outpost between Reckless Railways and Mount Olympus

The small outpost between Reckless Railways and Mount Olympus

Another little crossroads-type of spot, this small outpost doesn't have enough going on to support a full, four-person squad, but what it lacks in loot quantity it makes up for in amenities. To the north is a storm forecast tower, with its NPC that drops a guaranteed purple-quality rifle, and right next to the outpost to the south is a bunker that you can loot when it opens--or ambush other players when they inevitably pop in from Mount Olympus.

Invincible

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for the Season 2 finale of “ Invincible ,” now streaming on Prime Video, plus light spoilers for upcoming storylines in the “Invincible” comic .

Just shy of three years after the Season 1 finale of “Invincible” streamed on Prime Video, the final episode of Season 2 has arrived at long last — and there was just as much bloody, superhero action.

The battle leads to some eye-catching, alternate-universe cameos. In one callback to the original “Invincible” comic, Mark crashes into a web-slinging superhero named Agent Spider who’s fighting a tentacled villain called Omnipotus — a clear parody of Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus. Actor Josh Keaton, who has voiced Spidey in “The Spectacular Spider-Man” and other shows, even cameos as Agent Spider. In two more scenes, Mark talks to a cape-wearing, bat-themed superhero off camera (hello, Batman!) and runs across some talking zombies (an homage to “The Walking Dead,” also from “Invincible” creator Robert Kirkman ). Even a gun from the popular video game “Fortnite” appears, several months after it featured a crossover with several “Invincible” characters.

Before Mark can land a blow on Angstrom, the villain brutally attacks Debbie. This infuriates Mark and he grabs hold of Angstrom, fighting him as they’re launched into various dimensions. The two land in an empty, desert-covered world and Mark seemingly kills Angstrom — but the villain has escaped death before. Stranded with no way back home, Mark is left alone to think about his actions. Before all hope of returning is lost, a future-version of the Guardians of the Globe teleport in and saves him. Just as Mark leaves, this alternate Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) confesses that she loves him but had never told him.

With Variety , creator Kirkman explains how those Marvel and DC cameos came to be, recasting Ezra Miller ‘s voice role from Season 1, what to expect in Season 3 and more.

Let’s start with all those multiverse cameos. How did you get Josh Keaton back to voice this alternate Spider-Man?

It was just trying to figure out a way to keep that moment somewhat intact from the comics. It seemed like something that would be a fun and surprising way to do it. Amazon legal, painstakingly, was like, “No, the costume can’t be that color. We gotta get away from this and that.” There were a lot of eyes on that scene. We wanted to find an actor who had done Spider-Man before. [Supervising director] Dan Duncan came in immediately and was like, “Josh Keaton needs to do it. ‘Spectacular Spider Man’ is a great series.” He had worked on it and said Josh was great. He seemed like the best possible choice because it’s animation to animation. It seemed like it would be a fun thing. That said, he’s not playing Spider-Man. That’s Agent Spider. There might be some similarities, but I think Josh’s nuanced performance as Agent Spider is completely different than the way he played Spider-Man in “Spectacular Spider-Man.” But who knows? My opinion may be somewhat biased.

Were you on the phone with Marvel lawyers about what you could and couldn’t do?

No, I mean, I’m pretty sure Marvel found out about it today. So, we didn’t call any Marvel lawyers or anything. No, that was Amazon’s legal department’s job to make sure that Marvel didn’t need to know.

Onto the DC side, did you have to reach out to them about putting Batman in the finale?

Listen, I think that sequence might seem to imply a certain thing that isn’t there. That’s not Gotham City. That’s not Batman. That’s a completely different bat character that Mark is referring to. If the audience is inferring a certain thing from it, I don’t have control over that. The audience gets to take from it what they will, but it was never our intention to imply anything remotely close to the Batman character.

I’ll take your word for it! What about the zombies? Were there any specific walkers from “The Walking Dead” that you wanted to put in?

These zombies that are in the “Invincible” show are talking. They have nothing to do — they’re completely different. No, no references whatsoever. Not the answers you’re looking for!

Ok, last one: How did you get the “Fortnite” sniper rifle into Mark’s hands?

Looking ahead to Season 3, will we see Oliver age up more quickly, due to his Thraxan blood, like he does in the comics?

Yeah, you can definitely expect that character to age rapidly the way he did in the comics. Where we begin Season 3, at what stage he’s at, that can remain a mystery. But we’ll definitely see different versions of him along the way.

There are two major Viltrumite characters in the comics that must be appearing in the show soon: Conquest and Thragg. Do you have actors in mind for those roles yet?

I’ll say, without saying who it is, that one of those two characters has already been cast.

Where will we see Mark and Eve’s relationship grow in Season 3?

What you see at the end of Season 2 is kind of the first beginnings of an evolution of their relationship. That’s the story that is really going to be one of the core aspects of Season 3: what their relationship is, where it goes, how it changes and evolves. Whether they’re together or not, officially, remains to be seen. But there’s definitely a lot going on with Mark and Eve that will continue into Season 3 and hopefully beyond.

What about Nolan and Debbie’s relationship? We see Nolan admit that he misses his wife, but will he ever be truly redeemed after all the death and destruction he’s caused?

Those sequences, when we adapted them from the comics in Season 1, were heightened substantially. So I think the show is going to have a lot harder time doing anything close to a redemption with Nolan than we had with the comics. This moment where he’s realizing that he actually cares for Debbie and is legitimately missing her is kind of the beginnings of seeing who Nolan’s true character is. I don’t think it’s a change in his character. If you go back and you rewatch the first two seasons, knowing that moment, you’ll see things, especially when we first see him in Episode 4 of Season 2 and follow him from Earth to Thrax and we see what he’s going through, you kind of get a hint that there’s a lot more to him. There was a lot more going on with him internally during those moments at the end of Season 1. Exploring his character is something we’re going to be doing for the duration of the show.

With Angstrom seemingly gone for now, who are the primary antagonists going forward?

The Viltrumites as a whole, especially over the course of Season 2 with Kregg’s directive to Mark and Anissa’s interaction with him and the hints at more to come, have pretty much established themselves as the major threat to this show. There will always be other villains, like Angstrom Levy, that pop up and maybe become the main antagonist for a season or two, but the undercurrent in the show is always going to be what’s going on with the Viltrumite threat.

Looking back at the first two seasons, what have you learned going into Season 3?

What has the reaction to splitting Season 2 into two parts been like from fans?

I’ve certainly heard from people who didn’t care for it. I understand that when you’re enjoying a thing and it gets taken away and given back to you at a later date — not the best. But it was a necessity for the production of Season 2. Overall, I think it went well. The response to the last half of Season 2 has very much been, “Wish there hadn’t been a split, love the last half of Season 2.” We’re still hitting number one on the Amazon platform. I don’t think it caused any real, lasting detriment to the show. But, you live and learn so we’ll have to see how things go moving forward.

Are there any characters or storylines you’re most excited for people to see in Season 3?

I don’t want to reveal exactly what we’re doing. There’s a lot of great stuff with Cecil Stedman. We get to see a little bit of his backstory and get to know a little bit more about him as a person. The relationship between Mark and Eve is evolving in some really exciting way. It was very important to us in Season 2 to show that this is the Mark Grayson-Invincible show; it’s not the Omni-Man show. Omni-Man was very present in Season 2 and he’s a really big part of the show, but I worried a little bit coming out of Season 1 that people were like, “Oh, I love that Omni-Man guy. I want to see more Omni-Man.” So we took a little bit of a pause on Omni-Man for Season 2. He’s gonna be in Season 3 a little more.

Speaking of Cecil, his story is intertwined with D.A. Sinclair, who was voiced by Ezra Miller in Season 1 and recast in Season 2. What was the decision behind the recasting?

Like we saw with the Rick Sheridan role that was played by Jonathan Groff in Season 1 and Luke Macfarlane in Season 2 and similar to “Game of Thrones” when you have a cast that’s this large and you’re recording in different times, sometimes availabilities are going to shift and recasting is going to be necessary. I think it’s going to be something that’s going to happen from time to time with this show. I think that Eric Bauza is an immense talent and I am loving working with him, it’s a real opportunity to work with somebody that is so experienced in animation and has the skills and wealth of experience that he has. And I hope that Warner Bros. figures out a way to release the “Coyote vs. Acme” movie.

Invincible season 2 ending explained: what omni-man's final words mean.

Invincible season 2 has now come to an end, and here is a breakdown of the finale's biggest moments and how they'll impact Invincible season 3.

Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Invincible season 2, episode 8 and the comics!

  • Omni-Man's final words of "I miss my wife" in Invincible Season 2 show a major shift in his character towards redemption.
  • Angstrom Levy's fate in Invincible Season 2 may not be as it seems, as the comics offer a different path for the character.
  • Mark's decision to kill Angstrom in the season 2 finale hints at a darker path ahead for him in future seasons of Invincible.

Invincible season 2 has finally come to a close, and here is the ending of the season 2 finale explained, including what Omni-Man's final words mean. Invincible season 2 has been packed full of new and returning storylines and characters, with it building off of the back of the critically acclaimed first season of Invincible . Invincible season 2 pushed things even further, with Mark and the Guardians of the Globe facing a variety of new threats, while old threats surprisingly become allies. So, here is everything that happens in the Invincible season 2 finale, explained.

Invincible season 2, part 2 is finally here, with the full second season of Amazon Prime Video's critically acclaimed animated adaptation of the beloved superhero comic series of the same name now released in full. Invincible season 2, part 2 picks up right where Invincible season 2, part 1 ended , with Mark returning home from Thraxa after having reunited with Omni-Man. The Invincible season 2 finale had a lot to do, with it paying off the Angstrom Levy teases, igniting Mark and Eve's relationship, and setting up Invincible season 3 in some major ways.

What Omni-Man's Final Words In Invincible Season 2 Really Mean

"i miss my wife".

Omni-Man has a pretty bad time in the latter half of Invincible season 2, with him being imprisoned by the Viltrum Empire and spending the final four episodes getting prepared for his execution. However, Omni-Man has one saving grace: Allen the Alien. Allen the Alien gets intentionally captured by the Viltrumites in order to find Omni-Man and break him out of prison, with him hoping to use Omni-Man as a tool, for the Coalition of Planets. Through Allen's psychic powers, he and Nolan begin to bond, with Omni-Man's final words in season 2 being quite shocking : " I miss my wife ."

Having been raised by the Viltrum Empire, Omni-Man had the idea that love was weakness engrained into him, with the fact that he misses Debbie being a major step in Omni-Man's Invincible redemption arc . Omni-Man ended season 1 by comparing his wife to a pet, with this new stance showing just how drastically Omni-Man's mindset has changed. These words are a rejection of the Viltrum Empire, showing that Omni-Man has finally changed his ways and is ready to fight back against the Viltrumites and return to the people he loves.

Invincible Season 3: Cast, Story, & Everything We Know

Is angstrom levy really dead after invincible season 2's ending, the comics have an answer.

Invincible season 2, episode 8 finally sees the payoff of the constant Angstrom Levy teases, with him enacting his plan to get revenge on Invincible. Levy shows up at the Grayson household and kidnaps Debbie and Oliver, with him telling Mark to come home to save them. Levy begins sending Mark to different dimensions throughout their fight, although Mark doesn't stop fighting to save Debbie and Oliver. Eventually, Mark is able to get a hold of Levy and fly him into a different dimension, with him seemingly beating Levy to death before being rescued by the Guardians of the future.

Although the Invincible season 2 finale implies that Angstrom Levy is dead, this actually isn't the case. In the Invincible comics, a badly beaten Angstrom is rescued by a group of inter-dimensional scientists , with them helping to nurse Levy back to health. After healing, Levy prepares for his next big plan: the Invincible War. Angstrom Levy gathers up evil Mark Graysons from other dimensions and unleashes them on the dimension of the main Mark Grayson, with them wreaking havoc and killing several of Invincible 's main characters.

Angstrom Levy's Motivations & Plan To Kill Invincible Explained

They've been a bit confusing so far.

Angstrom Levy's motivations and plan are a little unclear throughout Invincible season 2, but they are finally fully explained in the finale. Upon having his mind merged with those of his inter-dimensional counterparts, Angstrom Levy snapped, with the overwhelming hatred of Invincible overpowering the sympathy of the main Angstrom Levy. Even though Angstrom Levy saved Invincible before his transformation, Levy's counterparts want Mark dead , as is shown through the flashbacks during Levy's battle with Mark.

Debbie Grayson proposes an interesting idea in regards to Angstrom Levy's motivations, with her expressing that since Mark is a hero in this dimension, then Angstrom Levy may be a villain. Debbie believes that Angstrom is simply upset that he isn't a hero, although this hasn't yet been confirmed to be true. It is entirely possible that this is Angstrom Levy's motivation, but the Levy from the main Invincible universe still hasn't been seen yet, with each Levy being a variant so far.

What Makes Mark Snap & Kills Angstrom Levy In Invincible Season 2's Finale

Is he becoming more like his father.

Although Mark Grayson has had a strong rule against killing throughout Invincible so far, he finally snapped and killed Angstrom in the season 2 finale , and here's why. Angstrom Levy endangering Mark's family caused him to break, sending him into a violent spree that ended with Levy being beaten to death. Mark lost control, showing that threatening his family is a dangerous move for any villain.

Invincible Just Told Us How Long We'll Have To Wait For Season 3's Release

Mark instantly regrets what he did after killing Levy, with him saying that he thought Levy was stronger. However, this doesn't seem to be the case, as Mark saw how badly he was beating Levy during their final fight. This is most likely an excuse that Mark is making, with him being scared that his inner-Viltrumite came through during the fight. This is something that will continue to be a huge fear for Mark throughout future seasons of Invincible , with his killing of Angstrom Levy sending Mark down a much darker path.

Why Mark Doesn't Tell Atom Eve That He Loves Her

Even though he was told to.

The final scene before the credits of Invincible season 2 features Mark and Eve sitting together, with this feeling like the perfect time for Mark to tell Eve that he loves her (as the future version of Eve told him to do). However, Mark doesn't, which was a surprise to some viewers. It is possible that Mark could still feel guilty about how things ended with Amber , with him being scared of starting a relationship with someone else. It could also be possible that Mark isn't certain about his feelings. However, Invincible season 3 will likely reveal the true answer.

Based on the comic book character by Robert Kirkman, Invincible follows Mark Grayson,  a seventeen-year-old who leads a seemingly average life save for the fact that he lives behind the shadow of his superhero father, Omni-Man. Mark goes on to develop superhuman abilities, but he must also learn that his father's legacy isn't as glitzy and glamorous as he's been led to believe.
