BEACH SUPERYACHT SERIES

“…at the beach, you live in the present, follow the tides, and embrace the outdoors. it’s enough to bring about a feeling of tranquillity and revitalization…”.

The BEACH range introduces a series of superyachts in 77m, 88m and 99m LOA designs, offering future owners a variety of yacht sizes as well as the opportunity to operate multiple yachts as a family or group of friends.

Each length of the BEACH superyacht series has different functional options available in the General Arrangement, for owners to create a perfect match with their lifestyle and preferences. The beach theme is the basis for the interior style, while individual customization allows for a personal touch. Options and customization ensure private exclusivity for each yacht.

SCULPTURAL MODERNITY

Next level exterior design.

The sculpted exterior designs of the BEACH 77, 88 and 99 superyacht series are inspired by the motion of waves caressing a beach. To starboard and port, the hull of the BEACH series tumbles aft and flares at the bow in a statement of nautical elegance. A strong horizontal definition line, extending from the main deck all the way to the bow, accentuates the stable and forward-directed feel of the BEACH series.

Construction is minimal and open; balustrades are transparent and the connection to the sea is all-encompassing due to the floor-to-ceiling glass façades. The large exterior decks culminate in the aft deck beach, with an embedded infinity pool amid steps descending to the waterline. The beam-wide swim platform offers access to the water and acts as a mooring spot for private limo tenders and water toys.

LIMITLESS BEACH

A refreshing approach to interiors.

The BEACH 77, 88 and 99 superyachts align with modern requirements with a full-beam forward owner’s state room. There are several interior options available, including an additional child’s cabin or a large owner’s office. A central core setup within the owner’s area allows for a spectacular free walk-around inside the glass façade. VIP and guest cabins are plenty and there is a choice in beauty, treatment, gym, or spa facilities.

The BEACH interior style is relaxed, informal, and open to individual accents in art, furniture, and color, accommodating an owner’s personal taste and style. The uncluttered, open-plan layout maximizes available space onboard all yachts of the BEACH series, making them feel bright and breezy. Plentiful natural light from sea, skies, and views creates the feeling that there is no boundary between indoors and outdoors.

OWNER’S STATE ROOM

Openness and freedom.

On the BEACH superyacht series, the prime location is reserved for the owner’s state room in the forward section of the owner’s deck. The state room is connected to the owner’s bathrooms and his and her dressing areas by stunning walk-through passageways on either side of the head-rest wall, inside the full height glass façade.

The owner’s deck is designed for the exclusive use of the owner, providing a special deck for him or her and their loved ones to sail in full privacy and maximum comfort. All aspects of the Owner’s State Room, from the bed design and accessories to the chairs and rug, are completely custom-designed and carefully crafted from genuinely sustainable natural materials. The sophisticated use of warm color tones and neutral indirect lighting creates an intimate, homey atmosphere.

OWNER’S DRESSING & BATHROOM

Laid-back luxury.

A centralized core design set-up for the owner’s deck on the BEACH superyacht series allows free movement within the corridor inside the glass façade, emphasizing the feeling of connection to the environment. His and her dressing units are located to port and starboard, offering ample storage space. Every detail of the form, material selection, finishes and functionality of the dressing areas has been meticulously considered.

The spacious bathrooms offer a minimalist, laid-back, yet luxurious, style. Natural materials with subtle textures provide a tactility that stimulates the senses, a design approach which is continued in the sensitive detailing of hardware and accessories. The open shower unit, created using vividly patterned and back-lit natural stone, is located near to the vanity and offers stunning views.

MAIN DECK LOUNGE

Shared relaxation.

As the gateway to the aft beach deck, the main deck lounge is the place for guests, family, and friends to gather and prepare for a new day of relaxation aboard a BEACH superyacht. Panoramic ocean views are spectacular due to the full height glass façade and the glass balustrade.

The relaxing lounge setting ensures this area of the yacht is ideal for spending memorable times with family and friends, establishing the lounge as a true meeting point of the yacht. The lounge furniture is completely custom-made by the finest craftsmen and is upholstered in soft fabrics with ton-sur-ton throw pillows for extra comfort. Natural materials and a balanced application of grids and wood structures define the space in well-proportioned sections.

The pleasure of quality time

The Beach Club on the lower deck of the BEACH superyacht series is a perfect place to linger and come together prior to and after water sports, or just to have a good time. As the pivotal location to enjoy quality time, the Beach Club offers informal seating, drinks, parties, beauty treatment stations, massage, Pilates, gym or yoga.

The Beach Club has direct access to the exterior aft beach deck with infinity pool, sunbeds, and loungers as well as the main deck lounge. It is a unique social space allowing larger groups, from the shore or other yachts, to join onboard and enjoy the company of family and friends. Comfortable laid-back seating ensures this zone is the hotspot of each yacht during the day and into the night, allowing all to enjoy the ocean to the absolute fullest.

BEACH SERIES

Family of superyachts.

The BEACH 77, BEACH 88 and BEACH 99 designs are united by a stepped aft deck with a large pool, which connects the main deck seamlessly to the water. All yachts of the series feature abundant outdoor space on all decks, with distinct exterior designs which are discerning and timeless.

State-of-the-art and practical design solutions are incorporated in each yacht of the series. Key characteristics include full-height glass façades at the higher deck cabins and lounges for open ocean views and maximized overall ceiling heights, ensuring generous interior space. For the layout, furniture arrangements and sightlines are smart and effective, optimizing the value of each square meter of available space aboard.

Common theme of the BEACH series is connected interior and exterior spaces aft. From the main lounge to the aft beach deck and on to the full beam beach club with fold-down hatches both on starboard and portside, there is a seamless transition to enjoy the pleasures of the sea and relish quality time with family and friends.

The World's First Hydrogen-Powered Superyacht Has a $644 Million Price Tag

sinot yacht architecture & design

By Nick Mafi

exterior of a yacht

Superyachts seemed to be among the last modes of (luxe) transportation to bend toward the growing consumer demand for eco-friendly engine designs. But if news from last week’s Monaco Yacht Show served as a bellwether, the industry meant to cater to the wealthiest among us made a progressive splash with the unveiling of Aqua, the world's first hydrogen-powered superyacht.

Designed by the Dutch firm Sinot Yacht & Architecture Design, Aqua is a nearly 400-foot-long vessel that's run entirely by a renewable energy source. "Water is the eternal fuel of life, the life-sustaining force that makes planet Earth habitable," says Sander Sinot, founder of the firm that bears his name. "Water is soft, yet at the same time it cuts through hard rocks." It was this appreciation of water that helped the firm find balance between the natural world and the technological. The propulsion system is made up of two 28-ton vacuumed tanks that each contain liquified hydrogen which are stored at -423 degrees Fahrenheit. Along with being eco-friendly, hydrogen-based energy means for a quieter experience aboard the ship in comparison to traditional engines. That said, there will be backup diesel generators handy should the captain ever need them.

The infinity pool aboard AQUA.

There was much confusion on Monday if there was already a buyer who had paid the hefty $644 million price tag. Reports spread throughout the internet that billionaire Bill Gates had purchased the superyacht, rumors that proved to be false. Yet readers couldn't be blamed for believing such reports, as images show Aqua to include its own infinity pool, helipad, spa, and gym—amenities meant to attract billionaires such as Gates.

An aerial view of the superyacht shows how close passengers can get to the water, as well as the cascading design of the infinity pool.

Sinot and his team designed the vessel to safely bring passengers as close to the water as possible. "Water is relaxation; it makes us calmer and more creative," Sinot comments. "We wanted to provide those on board with the closest possible proximity to the water. The aft deck features an innovative series of platforms cascading down towards the sea, while a large swim platform allows all passengers to enjoy the optimal experience of accessing the water at sea level."

Aqua can reach speeds of up to 19.5 mph and features enough room for 14 guests and 31 crew members. The firm plans to complete the vessel by 2024.

Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design

Within the niche universe of superyacht design, Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design has etched its name as a creator of extraordinary aquatic experiences. Founded in the late 1990s by Sander Sinot, an industrial designer with a diverse background that includes a tenure with legendary designer Henry Dreyfuss in New York, the Netherlands-based studio has matured into a powerhouse. Today, it operates with a 30-strong team of specialists, each dedicated to manifesting the studio’s philosophy of interlacing exceptional interior and exterior designs to create seamless yacht experiences.

At Sinot, the cornerstone of yacht design extends far beyond mere aesthetics; it engages directly with the lived experiences of owners, guests, and crew. Exterior designs reflect a fusion of client visions and the studio’s technical ingenuity, harmonizing elements like hull shape, superstructure dimensions, and bow form to craft exteriors that are both timeless and distinct. The attention to detail is almost obsessive, touching even the minutiae of masts, railings, and porthole designs. The interiors, meanwhile, are an epitome of bespoke luxury, each meticulously crafted to mirror the owner’s identity, aspirations, and lifestyle. Spaces come alive through a synergy of rare woods, high-quality fabrics, custom-built furniture, and innovative technology. Sinot’s designs culminate in what can best be described as a ‘total work of art,’ a term that captures the ensemble of external and internal design intricacies, from spatial planning to the strategic use of light, thereby turning the yacht into an immersive, holistic experience.

Sinot’s stellar reputation is supported by an array of remarkable projects that stand as testimonies to their design acumen. Among the most prominent is Oracle CEO Larry Ellison’s Musashi, an 87.78-metre marvel constructed by Feadship, for which Sinot led both interior and exterior designs. Their portfolio also includes other iconic vessels like Feadship’s ROCK.IT and F45 Harle, extending their collaborative footprint across renowned shipyards and architects. With awards like the 2012 ShowBoats Design Award for Musashi’s interior, Sinot has not only proven its creative prowess but has also set new industry standards. Whether it’s an 87-metre behemoth or a conceptual 115-metre Estatement, Sinot’s projects are a marriage of luxury, functionality, and unparalleled attention to detail, solidifying their standing as one of the most impactful and innovative design studios in the maritime world.

POETRY // Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design

Sinot yacht architecture created the 130m motor yacht concept poetry..

POETRY has a length of 130m and a beam of 19m. The concept envisages hydrogen-electric/PEM fuel cell propulsion. The maximum speed is 17 knots; the range is 4,500 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots.

The design vision of POETRY describes Sinot as follows: “Living close to the water in perfect harmony with the aquatic environment; a seamless experience of the highest quality with loved ones aboard your private yacht.”

Sander Sinot comments: “We challenged ourselves to create a concept that fully accommodates the desires and lifestyle of the owner, without compromising the yacht design. For Poetry, we worked from a new design vision, creating a concept depicting the owner’s dreams. Less formal, more genuine, more like a home.”

POETRY is designed for privacy and socializing. Sinot comments: “This is a new, thematic approach to yacht design that starts with the dreams of the owner. For him or her we explore the inner values of space and how we live our lives with a mixture of elements that people normally do not think about.”

The wheelhouse has been moved forward, so the owner has a real private area.

Poetry Yacht Sinot

Interior of POETRY

POETRY accommodates 14 guests in one master suite, two VIP cabins, and four guest cabins. The number of crew is 47. The highest deck is the owner’s pavilion. Below is the private dining area with an open kitchen, cinema, and exploration room to plan routes with the captain.

The VIP suites and guest cabins are located on the main deck with private loggias. The wellness area is on the lower deck, next to the beach club, with a hammam, sauna, gym, beauty salon, etc. All the fine things for a private resort on the sea.

Poetry Yacht Interior Sinot

Poetry uses natural and artificial light to structure space, highlight details, and set the mood. Light is orchestrated into functional scenes while subconsciously supporting social settings. The transition from the inside to the outside is eased by using the directional shades at the deckheads, which light up in a subtle glow at night. Sander Sinot says: “ It is a poetic way to enlighten our lives with a mixture of elements we usually do not think about. ”

Zaha Hadid Architects designing waterfront Moscow smart city

ZHA Rublyovo Arkhangelskoye render by Flying Architecture 2

Zaha Hadid Architects have been chosen along with five other practices to develop a huge site west of Moscow

Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) is the highest profile firm selected to design the massive Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye smart city west of Moscow, intended to be a “global benchmark” for data-driven, sustainable cities.

The plan for the section designed by ZHA with Russia partners for a section of the development unites offices and accommodation with a ribbon-like motif that curls across the waterfront. Their project will be joined by developments by two other teams, including Russian practice UNK Project and Japan’s Nikken Sekkei.

Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye, which covers nearly five square kilometres around a lake, includes housing for a population of 66,500, plus schools, shopping districts and 800,000 square metres of offices intended for financial institutions and law firms.

The winning proposals were selected by a jury including Kristin Feireiss (Aedes Architecture Forum) and landscape architect Andreas Kipar (LAND).

ZHA Rublyovo Arkhangelskoye render by VA

Bordered by the Moscow River, 4 million square metres of new buildings will be developed in Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye while about a third of the neighbourhood will be parklands and forest, according to developers.

The developers say the project will optimise the production of sustainable local energy and minimise consumption, while integrating “electric mobility, new technologies, services and infrastructure.” But the digital systems are designed to work to further the area’s natural beauty and public spaces, says Christos Passas, project director at Zaha Hadid Architects.

“Working with specialist teams in Russia and Europe, we developed a people-centric design for a smart interconnected city that brings people together not only through innovative technology but also through organising the public realm; building a community that integrates the natural aspects of the site with principles of openness and inclusivity in high quality architecture suited for the 21st century.”

feadship 712 yacht

83m Feadship Project 712 launched

The 82.9-metre Feadship superyacht Project 712 has officially been launched from the Dutch yard's de Vries facility.

The steel and aluminium yacht was last sighted on transport to Aalsmeer for outfitting, where it travelled over 85 kilometres through the Dutch waterways by tug.

The yacht's naval architecture comes from de Voogt , while the interiors are understood to be by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design .

Little is known about the sub-2,000GT yacht, but initial images indicate a plumb bow, unfolding terraces in the beach club and a forward-loading tender garage.

This reveal follows a sequence of highly-secretive Feadship sightings, including the 102.6-metre Ulysses and 74.7-metre Alvia .

The shipyard also recently celebrated the delivery of its longest project to date – the 118-metre Launchpad .

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Facade

Text description provided by the architects. At the end of 2019, Tianyi International Car City, the first large-scale complex with automobile as its theme in Lishui, Nanjing , officially opened. As the first automobile life theme square of 100,000 m2 in Lishui, Tianyi International Car City will surely bring new opportunities for the development of automobile sales and service industry in Lishui region and its surrounding areas, which has far-reaching significance for further optimizing the local industrial structure. With the strong support of the government, the project will cover Lishui, face the main city of Nanjing, connect with the fashion trend of the international automobile industry, and become a new landmark of Lishui.

Landmark industrial park full of "experience" The Car City covers the whole cycle of automobile chain. For the citizens living in Lishui, it is more like a city complex with automobile as the theme.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Windows, Cityscape, Facade

The Car city has not only formed a one-stop service chain with new car exhibition & sales, second-hand car sales, automobile decoration and assembly, beauty, testing and licensing, but also has complete life and business services, restaurants, entertainment, hotels, coffee shops, cultural experience, child care, and etc., forming a new regional business circle based on automobile.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Facade

Lishui Tianyi International Car City provides a one-stop closed-loop service of the whole automobile industry chain. Lishui automobile management office moved in as a whole, forming a one-stop service of new car exhibition & sales, second-hand car sales, automobile decoration and assembly, beauty and testing, which contains all kinds of automobile related services.

Entering the park is like being in a theme amusement park where you can experience the whole experience without alighting. According to different target needs, different route guidance will guide customers to complete the whole service experience. A glance at the boring feeling of the traditional industrial park, when vehicles enter the park, they feel not only the fashionable business atmosphere and high-quality service supporting, but also the wonderful "car line".

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Facade

The sunken square mainly contains the used-car market related business. Including, auto car beauty, maintenance planning, licensing inspection, photo-taking, business acceptance and examination room in new car licensing area, testing under vehicle testing path and environmental protection testing, etc.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Facade

Compare to a traditional industrial park, the Tianyi International Car City is more like a barrier-free facilities designed with cars as the main body, it’s full of surprises for experiencers.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Windows, Facade

Composite and unified functional layout The Tianli square is located in the south of the Tianyi International Car City. As a connection, the designer hopes to continue the business experience of Tianli square in phase I to the atmosphere of the automobile city in phase II.

The planning structure of the park adopts the concept of "one axis and two areas". "One axis" refers to the north and south axis of Tianli square, and "two areas" refers to commercial, auto exhibition & sales and auto parts decoration areas.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Windows, Facade

The architect arranged the new car exhibition and sales center on the third floor above the ground in the northeast corner of the site to create the city interface and landmark image of Lishui. At the same time, the second-hand car exhibition and sales center is placed on the underground floor and the first floor on the west side of the south side of the automobile city, which is connected with the sunken square.

Vehicle-related integrated supporting service functions, such as vehicle management office and vehicle detection center, are uniformly set in the east-central position of the site. Auto Parts & beauty services are arranged along the south side of the plot, forming a dynamic business street with the Central Plaza building.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Facade, Handrail, Windows

The two-story podium on the west side of the north and the first underground floor serve as supporting commercial retail, which can fully use the city's commercial interface. The two towers bear the functions of hotel and office respectively. The highest level in the south is also for office use. The main entrance of the hotel is located in the South Commercial Street, and the office entrance is arranged along the west side of the plot.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Exterior Photography, Windows

The well connection of the interior and the central and sunken squares, created an double first-floor image.

This composite functional layout considering industry and urban supporting services is a natural result of combining the needs of developer, government and urban services.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Interior Photography, Kitchen, Windows

Automobile culture throughout Automobile is not only the theme of Tianyi International Car City but also the inspiration source of the image.

During the design of Tianyi International Car City, architects hope to incorporate the style of fashion, cool and industrial sense into the facade design of the building. Through a variety of architectural details, create a rich architectural image.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Interior Photography, Column

The whole project adopts a simple modern facade style. The design focuses on the volume sense of the building, which echoes with the automobile elements through the building bite and dynamic shape.

Streamlined lines and bite shape, as well as the irregular skin used in the building skirt, are the biggest characteristics of the automobile city architectural form.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Interior Photography, Stairs, Windows, Facade, Handrail, Beam

The main building adopts the outer skin perforated plate to form a rhythmic and more integrated volume. At the same time, led and other material elements are added to make the business more dynamic and iconic.

The simple and dynamic form, the characteristic and atmospheric material application form the landmark building image of the Lishui portal.

Tianyi International Car City / Sunyat Architecture Design - Facade, Windows

With the appearance of Tianyi International Car City, the symbiosis of "production" and "city" has become a real scene that can be close to. It has taken a great step in the harmonious integration of people and cars, industry and city.
