Our new custom sailing catamaran INDIGO DREAMS...  The intimacy of having only 6/8 guests while experiencing our wild dolphin family and Mother Nature in a more natural way......

Coming Back to our Roots.. For over 20 years we operated two 50' sailing multihulls. For the past 12 years we have been blessed with our 100 ft liveaboard Indigo, a dolphin boat like no other. Many of our returning guests who had been with us on the sailboats loved Indigo but also missed the sailboats. With our liveaboard sailing trimaran Calypso Poet we always had waiting lists so we added another 50 trimaran, Calypso Spirit. We then added Indigo so that we would not have to turn anyone away. Circumstances and having this time to access what is the best for everyone, especially the dolphins. We have now taken a step back with all the lessons learned for an even better tomorrow.

Introducing "Indigo Dreams"... Longing to get back to our roots, simplicity and closer to nature with great comfort for all, we have acquired a custom designed and built 50 ft by 27 ft wide catamaran. She is designed by one of the best designers of catamarans in Australia, incredibly well built with skill and heart, over a 12 year period in Canada. Though none of our boats have been perfect, they have been the best boats out on the dolphin grounds for what we do. Indigo Dreams takes it to yet another level. She is designed as a performance cruiser, unlike most factory cats that are bulky and not as efficient as they should be. I thought that she was a good looking boat when I saw her, but when I dove under her she took my breath away... she is so dolphin like in design, with just a beautiful, simple, clean flow through the water.

The Most Intimate Wild Dolphin Swim Weeks Available...With Indigo Dreams we will be offering trips with only 6/8 guests making it a much more personal experience once again. For both the dolphins and our guests. Dolphin Expeditions is the oldest wild dolphin experience operating in Bimini with by far the most dolphin time and interactions. We will be operating between three different areas in the Bahamas now. Because of our liveaboard, go anywhere status, we will be able to operate in two areas that we love, where we will be the only dolphin boat anywhere near these special dolphin families. Each area with private islands, reefs, beaches etc..to enjoy. Then there is our spectacular Bimini dolphins who we have grown up with. Each week we will access the weather and previous dolphin interactions to decide where we will operate for the coming week.

Drinking water and Solar Power... Indigo Dreams will be the most Eco oriented dolphin swim boat anywhere. All of our fresh water is being made on board from the incredibly healing, crystal clear waters of the dolphin grounds. She has new custom solar panels for charging and supplying all of Indigo Dreams living systems. No noisy diesel generators running and vibrating.

Dining.... There is a great dining area in the main salon. All of our cookware and cutlery are new and certified to be healthy in every aspect. With prior notice we are able to accommodate most everyone's personal eating habits.

Diving Accessibility from Indigo Dreams ... The view of her stern will be a bit different than the photo above, she has great access to getting in and out of the water with custom boarding ladders.

Beach-ability... Something we're looking forward to is the ability to go anywhere with Indigo Dreams. She only has a draft of 3 ft... we are able to get into many more anchorages, closer to beaches and even put her right up on the beach if we wish...none of our previous boats have been able to do this. There are very few places that will not be available due to the tide.

Bedding...Indigo Dreams has three double occupancy staterooms. Our feedback has always been, from most of our guests, that they sleep better in our beds than at home. Taking that to yet another level. All the beds have new Tempurpedic type mattresses that are all really comfortable, each with two different types of pillows so you can pick and choose. Both together are fine...with new bedding brought on board for each season.

Playing in the Nets...It has always been one of the favorite places on a catamaran/trimaran to be able to relax and lay in the netting that stretches between the forward hull decks of the boat. With only 6/8 guests you have them all to yourselves with the dolphins often playing just a couple of feet below you, moving along with the boat. A really nice place to sleep at night if you like...listening to the wavelets lapping against the hulls with the stars or moon above.

Underwater Light Show in the Evening... In each of the hulls, in the living areas, we have clear hatches that are at a 45 degree angle so you can see everything in the crystal clear waters. We have soft colored lighting under the bridge deck of Indigo Dreams that attracts marine life. You can sit inside and though the crystal glow, see all the fish and whatever else might show up... if desired it also lets in a soft glow inside the hulls with the rippling of water mirrored throughout the hulls... there is good viewing during the day also..like wearing a mask inside the boat looking down...the underwater light can also be observed from the forward netting and decks of the boat.

Where Indigo Dreams lives while in Grand Bahama...The Grand Bahama Yacht Club is one of the nicest properties on the island. A very quiet, beautifully manicured. A nice, protected, relaxing place to spend our time when we are in port. Giving us great access to most of the places that anyone would wish to visit. About 6 minutes from a couple of hotels that we recommend to our guests if they wish to visit the island a day or so early or leave a little after the trip with us.  A couple of photos on the left give a bit of an example...

Description

The Leopard 46 sailing catamaran is perfect for sailing the Whitsundays. She features four double cabins with ensuites and a roomy cockpit for entertaining.

The Leopard 46 can sleep up to eleven. Four double cabins with their own bathroom, the saloon dining setting converts to another double and there is one additional small adult berth in the forward port cabin. All cabins feature plenty of hatches for airflow and comfort. The ample head room, generous refrigeration space, upstairs galley and large fully covered cockpit make for easy entertaining of large groups with room to spread out.

For sailing performance; a full batten main. For easy sailing; she has a roller furling headsail, an autopilot and a raised helm for good visibility.

Suitable for four couples, two families and mixed groups. She will also perform equally well under power.

We had an excellent week swimming, snorkelling and relaxing on the beaches. We saw dolphins, sharks and lots of fish. Indigo was nice and wide and very easy to drive!

What a comfortable and safe boat for 8 people. The configuration + fridges etc we great for 8 people. Having your own ensuite is a must. We found Indigo well appointed with kitchen gear for such a large group.

From first contact Whitsunday Escape made it easy to choose the right charter for us and assisted us with whatever we needed ahead of our departure. Very safety conscious!

Indigo is a Horizon 60 Power cat – modern, elegant and comfortable; the three stateroom layout offers fantastic accommodation for up to six guests.

The master king size stateroom is incredible – located on the upper deck with panoramic windows directly in front of the bed. The ensuite bathroom is huge and features black marble and a surfboard themed shower. The VIP queen cabin also has a great view, closer to the water line and another huge ensuite. The third cabin has twin berths so is perfect for families or single adults. The salon is contemporary with leather seating and low coffee tables and is integrated with the galley.

One of the main features of this yacht is the outside space which starts with an enormous cockpit featuring an elegant dining table and a seating area. The fly bridge is fully shaded and is very impressive with another dining option, a barbeque area and a wet bar.

Our personal opinion

Why book Indigo – SUMPTUOUS ACCOMMODATION – The whole yacht oozes quality and attention to detail. From the unique master cabin through to the huge flybridge – everything has been planned for guests comfort. Add to this the fact you will be cruising the BVI comfortably at 18 knots!

Words can not describe the joy our family has experienced these last 5 days. What a way to end 2023 and begin a new year, so incredibly grateful for Sean and Bianca. They truly felt like part of the family. The food was perfect. Every detail!! It was presented in such an amazing way. Loren has a photo of every meal, appetizer & snack. She was always so amazed! We really enjoyed the walk to the bubbly pool.

There are few words to describe just everything that spending these days in the company of Bianca and Sean meant, but a lot of deep feelings of gratefulness & happiness felt. We came with a lot of uncertainties given that we had never been on a boat of this size nor on one for such a long time but we leave feeling like we’re conquered these waters. None of this would have been possible without Bianca’s daily fuel. We wish we could really take you home! Bianca, you are so talented.

Every day you never failed to impress us and the kids! We think the key ingredient you used that made everything extra delicious was all the love you put into everything you do! We’ll be daydreaming about your meals for quite some time from that lava cake to those killer gmocchis and Captain Sean! He created the most memorable experiences we will cherish as a family forever. We don’t all live together so being able to come together and feed pigs at a beach, swim with sharks, snorkel at a reef, swim with turtles & do all those water sports together is something.

Best trip ever! don’t have a favorite place only favorite memories. From day one Bianca & Captain Sean were magic! Sean always made sure our teenagers were happy & busy. Bianca’s food is amazing; she could make anything for anybody. Her lava cake, doughnuts, keylime pie.. all deserts one to die for! At first, I thought a 9-day charter would be too long, it was way to short! To see my daughter feed the pigs, turtles, sharks & fish and the happiness it brought to her & the Jet Skies & the smiles it brought to my Son made my heart happy. Thank you Bianca & Sean. -Love Miss Stein.

There are no words that can do justice to the time and experience we have spent here. From the beautiful blue transparent water to the snorkeling in the Thunderball grotto to watersports (including Jet ski mania”), to feeding sharks, turtles and so much more, the amazing breathtaking moments never ended until the time we sadly disembarked! Oh, and the food was just insane!! Every meal was amazing! However, the best of all was Sean and Bianca, and the experience you created for us! I had such a magical time swimming with turtles, snorkeling with Bianca under and through caves filled with colorful fish and petting the most docile and sweet sharks I have ever seen. This experience was such an amazing and eye-opening vacation that I would not imagine doing anywhere else with anyone else. Sean and Bianca did everything in their power to make this trip memorable and spread such contagious laughter throughout the boat; I’m probably leaving with permanent smile likes on my face. We have Bareboated for 30 years and this week was the most amazing trip! Captain Sean is very skilled; Bianca is an excellent chef. Each day was better than the day before. My personal favourite was Warderwick Wells, I walked on the sandbar at low tide and then we snorkelled. I saw a black tip reef shark and a big grouper. I would stay a month if I could!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our trip on the Indigo truly amazing! We have never had such wonderful food on a charter before. Bianca tailored every plate to our picky boys needs!

Sean’s wit and caring made us feel like we were family. We have made truly great friends with Bianca and Sean and hope to see you soon in the next few months in Colorado!!!

Rendezvous diving

If your crewed charter yacht does not offer onboard diving then fear not, rendezvous diving can be arranged.

So what is Rendezvous diving?

A local dive company will pick you up direct from your charter yacht at a pre-determined location and take you for a one- or two-tank dive to experience the BVI below the water. This is an excellent option if only a couple of guests wish to dive or can work equally as well if all your group are interested. If your charter yacht offers minimal onboard diving, then rendezvous diving can also work if you wanted to add a few more dives during your charter.

Rendezvous diving is at additional cost, payable locally. The dive company provides all gear.

Wow....how amazing was that experience? We sailed out of Hervey Bay Mariner Saturday 23 September and just had the best 3 days out on the boat. The scenery was amazing and the ever-changing conditions just meant there was something new on each turn of the wheel. Oh and the whales ...how spectacular! Her water tanks store around 1,140 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.

This tour departs directly from Ka’anapali’s Dig Me Beach.  See below for exact location. Check-in time is 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

TOUR DURATION

• Sheraton’s beach lawn, Ka’anapali

Check-in with our Crew member in a blue shirt on the lawn in front of the Sheraton, at the end of the Beach Walk. 

**NOTE** If at check-in, surf conditions are deemed dangerous, guests can expect to walk 10-15 minutes north on the beach walk to a safer boarding area. Check-in location will not change.

We will be loading from the beach, you can expect to get wet up to your knees when you board. Please watch the short Beach Loading video below, taken on a small surf day. This tour is NOT recommended for guests with mobility issues. Please consider a tour with a Maalaea departure.

Parking is available at the Sheraton Maui for $15. Guests also have the option to park at Whalers Village. Trilogy will not validate your parking pass at Whalers.

*On days when beach loading is not possible due to large surf, we will depart from Maalaea Harbor. Guests are responsible for their transportation to Maalaea Harbor. We will always try to give ample warning if this change must take place.

KA'ANAPALI BEACH LOADING

This excursion loads directly from the sands of world-famous Ka’anapali Beach, and you WILL get wet when loading. Please watch this quick video showing our beach-loading process during medium shore break. Please keep in mind that beach loading requires a certain level of physical fitness.   Guests with injuries or disabilities which impede mobility may find beach loading too difficult or strenuous. It is recommended that guests with mobility issues and parents with small infants , book one of our many tours departing from the Lahaina Harbor.
