MONZA Yacht – Charles Leclerc’s $2 Million Vessel

The MONZA yacht is a $2 million Riva vessel owned by Charles Leclerc. Leclerc is a Formula One race car driver from Monaco and part of the Scuderia Ferrari team.

The 15m open-top vessel was delivered from Riva’s shipyard in 2020.

She features design from Officina Italian Design and offers a luxury experience on the water in the Italian indulgence.

The yacht designer is Officina Italian Design , an Italian design house. White sofas are on either side of the yacht, with two couches facing aft.

The lower deck has an L-shaped settee with a tiny room for a huge king-sized bed and bathroom.

The MONZA features cream finishes, natural wood, and luxury amenities. There is also a mini kitchen with everything needed to cook a meal and more.

The 15m yacht accommodates four guests in two cabins and can hold ten passengers on board.

There are no crew accommodations on the MONZA. There are plenty of options for relaxing and enjoying the yachting lifestyle in Italian luxury.

MONZA is one of Riva shipyards’ extensive range of luxury vessels. She is a Riva DolceRiva model, delivered in 2020. Riva is an Italian shipyard with over 100 years of experience in shipbuilding.

The company steered away from commercial vessels towards creating top-of-the-range pleasure yachts.

Although the owner is Monégasque, he has a great appreciation for Italian, including his pleasure yacht.

MONZA has a striking exterior with sleek lines low to the water. The name MONZA is displayed on the rear of the vehicle, with silver and black design elements on the exterior of the open craft.

The Riva yacht is an open-top vessel with outstanding amenities for guests to enjoy.

Specifications

The MONZA is a 15m vessel with a displacement of 25 gross tons. MONZA is considered a medium-sized cruiser vessel.

She has a speed of 35 knots which she gets from her Volvo D13-800 engines. The engine has 800 horsepower and a V-drive transmission. MONZA has a value of $2 million.

Owner – Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc is reportedly the owner of MONZA. He is a Monégasque Formula One racing driver and races for Scuderia Ferrari . Leclerc named his yacht after Monza, a world-famous Italian racing track.

He won a race on the Monza racetrack after winning the 2019 Italian Grand Prix. Forbes states that Leclerc is the sixth-highest earner of Formula One race car drivers in 2021.

He graduated from the Ferrari Driver Academy and is in his third season with the Scuderia Ferrari team.

With a salary of $12 million at the end of 2021, he is likely to earn more than that from advertising endorsements.

Other Formula One racers appear to develop a taste for yachts, and Leclerc is no different with his MONZA yacht.

It is a known fact that F1 drivers somehow garner a fondness for yachts in time, with Kimi Raikkonen, being one of the prime examples. Similarly, his Ferrari successor, Charles Leclerc, managed to become the owner of a classy-looking yacht.

In 2020, the Monegasque was one of the known faces to visit the world’s biggest boat show and trade fair, the 2020 boot Düsseldorf, and may have gained interest in the Docleriva yacht, built by the world-class brand, Riva. Eventually, Leclerc managed to become the proud owner of the open yacht, in August 2020.

Leclerc may have been born in Monaco. But, his love for Italy has been quite evident on several occasions, with the yacht being one of them.

Coming back to Leclerc’s water cruiser, the yacht is about 15m in length, which is approximately 48ft, and weighs around 25 tons. It also holds a powerful Volvo D13-800 engine, which helps the yacht speed up to a decent 35 knots. The engine also withholds a power of 800 HP, with a V-drive transmission.

This medium-sized cruiser can accommodate up to 10 members on board. Monza also possesses a cabin underneath, with a sleek-looking bathroom.

The lower deck has an L-shaped couch, with a coffee table in the middle. Alongside the living area is a tiny room with a massive king-size bed, along with a bathroom. What’s more, there is also a mini kitchen with wardrobes to hold required utensils and also clothes.

Leclerc managed to get hold of such possession with possibly over 10 years of racing left in hand. So, with the future suggesting that the Monegasque will likely earn more than he does at the moment, will he seek a much bigger yacht than Monza at some point?

Charles Leclerc has been known for his driving but more than that his millions worth collection of vehicles. Apart from driving, he also makes music in his free time. But it looks like the Monegasque has another talent after all after he showcased his incredible acting skills. The Ferrari driver recently became a part of a very elite club. Alongside David Beckham and Piefrancesco Favino, Charles Leclerc is the only one to join this exclusive luxurious club. 

None other than the Ferrari driver and Inter Miami Owner, David Beckham alongside famous Italian actor, Piefrancesco Favino recently made an appearance in celebration of 180 years of Riva. Riva is a luxurious yacht brand that is also part of the Ferretti Group. The brand provides luxurious and various styles of yachts which cost an estimated $2 million. However, Charles Leclerc is one of the celebrities who owns a Riva yacht .

Charles Leclerc shows off his skills in a short film 

The Riva brand planned to celebrate its 180 years by making a short film. The film starred the two athletes alongside the Italian actor. “Riva: The Persuaders” was shot over a few weeks on coastlines between the borders of Italy and the Côte d’Azur. The short film started off with the Italian actor, Piefrancesco Favino and David Beckham as they both raced their way to their Riva yachts. 

After this, the duo continues to challenge each other across the ocean to get to another yacht waiting for them. They are then seen running inside as they try to sabotage one another but reach Charles Leclerc together anyways. That was when Charles Leclerc showcased his incredible acting skills in the short film. He is heard saying “Speed means everything.” 

The video continues with the three men racing Hot Wheels cars on a small toy track. The rest of the video contains footage of the Ferrari driver walking along the yacht giving the viewers a look at his $2 million yacht.

The Boats of Charles Leclerc, a Formula 1 Driver With a Passion for Navigating the Seas

Leclerc, a lover of nature and speed, finds refuge aboard jaw-dropping Rivas in the waters of Monaco

The ’66 Ribelle is a 20 meter sports yacht that can reach 37 knots of top speed and 33 knots of cruising speed. In addition to the fore and aft area of the main deck where you can relax en plein air , the ’66 Ribelle also has a beautiful flybridge, accessible from the cockpit via a teak and steel staircase, with a stern sundeck and two chaise-longues on either side of the wheelhouse.

The standard layout of the Riva 66’ Ribelle includes three cabins below deck, including the master cabin, a VIP and a twin. The materials used for the yacht’s interior are in pure Riva style, including mahogany, steel and lacquer in various shades of blue and white.

We don’t know if the Riva 66’ Ribelle yacht is owned by Leclerc, but according to sources like the Corriere , the driver is the owner of Dolceriva, another model from the Riva shipyard. Purchased a few years ago, the Ferrari driver’s boat is named Monza, just like the circuit where the Italian Grand Prix is held where Leclerc scored his second Formula 1 victory in the Cavallino car, following the Belgian GP in 2019.

Charles Leclerc’s Dolceriva yacht reaches a top speed of 35 knots and is 15 meters long. The yacht is an elegant and sporty open cruiser with timeless appeal, designed by Officina Italiana Design.

The rounded stern of the Dolceriva yacht celebrates Riva’s iconic Ariston and Tritone models, while also evoking the lines of a luxury sports car, in a close relationship between boat and car.

The master cabin is located ahead of the lower deck, while the dinette, galley and bathroom are located at the center of the boat. Mahogany, mirrored surfaces, leather, steel and both matte and glossy lacquered woods mark the interior design of Dolceriva.

Nato e cresciuto nel Principato di Monaco, Charles Leclerc ha imparato a nuotare nelle piscine accanto al circuito stradale. «Ma più di tanto senza andare al mare non posso stare», ha raccontato più volte. E se da giovane, appena arrivava il caldo si buttava in acqua sulla spiaggia del Larvotto, diventato una delle star del Mondiale F1 ha deciso che fosse ben più divertente andare al largo con uno yacht. Così, nell'agosto 2020, ha acquistato un 48 Dolceriva, lungo 15 metri, con due cabine, capace di alloggiare comodamente quattro ospiti. Raggiunge la velocità massima di 35 nodi (quasi 65 km/h), costa oltre due milioni di euro. Lo ha chiamato Monza, per ricordare il suo  successo, nel settembre 2019. Non è un caso, la scelta di Riva: al di là del prestigio, il cantiere di Sarnico ha un rapporto di partnership con Ferrari da un biennio con il  logo presente sulle auto e sui caschi dei due piloti.

Ora, sul profilo Instangram, il pilota della Ferrari fa il bagno con alle spalle il nuovo gioiello: Sedici - ossia il suo numero di gara - è sempre un bellissimo Riva. UNO STRETTO RAPPORTO

Il costo, secondo indiscrezioni, dovrebbe aggirarsi sui 4 milioni di euro, personalizzazioni comprese: non pochi, anche se il Principino pare guadagni oltre 10 milioni di euro a stagione. Ma bisogna tenere alcuni aspetti che hanno portato sicuramente a uno sconto importante: il già citato rapporto di partnership tra la Scuderia Ferrari e Riva, il fatto che il cantiere di Sarnico faccia parte del Gruppo Ferretti che dal 2016 ha tra gli azionisti Piero Ferrari e il ruolo di testimonial di Leclerc in più occasioni. L'ultima, spettacolare, è il cortometraggio realizzato per celebrare i 180 anni del cantiere e i 60 del mitico Acquarama: nell'ironico action movie che ricorda 'Attenti a quei due', Charles invita le star David Beckham e Pierfrancesco Favino (a bordo di un Rivamare) e li invita a misurarsi con lui su una pista per modellini elettrici. Un prezzo di favore per Leclerc, insomma, è più che credibile.

A new masterpiece produced in a special limited edition of just 18 boats to celebrate Riva's 180th anniversary and to pay tribute to the legendary Aquarama, which turns 60 this year.   Venice, June 13th - Riva’s 180th anniversary tells the story of a wonderful adventure of style and elegance that has raised boatbuilding to the level of art. Such a glamorous and radiant celebratory gala could only be held in an equally grandiose venue, the Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice . Which is in fact where last Saturday, June 11, Ferretti Group invited owners and international guests for an exclusive event with a highly atmospheric show that celebrates the story of the first 180 years of the yacht world’s most famous brand. The Gala night was the occasion for the world premiere of “ Riva The Persuaders! ”, the short film inspired by the cult TV series, made over the past few weeks on the coast spanning the border between Italy, Monaco and the Côte d’Azur and produced by Armando Testa Studios. Strange Glow Over Moscow Skies Triggers Panic as Explosions Reported

B right flashes lit up the night sky in southern Moscow in the early hours of Thursday morning, new footage appears to show, following reports of an explosion at an electrical substation on the outskirts of the city.

Video snippets circulating on Russian-language Telegram channels show a series of flashes on the horizon of a cloudy night sky, momentarily turning the sky a number of different colors. In a clip shared by Russian outlet MSK1.ru, smoke can be seen rising from a building during the flashes lighting up the scene.

Newsweek was unable to independently verify the details of the video clips, including when and where it was filmed. The Russian Ministry of Emergency situations has been contacted via email.

Several Russian Telegram accounts said early on Thursday that residents of southern Moscow reported an explosion and a fire breaking out at an electrical substation in the Leninsky district, southeast of central Moscow.

Local authorities in the Leninsky district told Russian outlet RBC that the explosion had happened in the village of Molokovo. "All vital facilities are operating as normal," Leninsky district officials told the outlet.

The incident at the substation in Molokovo took place just before 2 a.m. local time, MSK1.ru reported.

Messages published by the ASTRA Telegram account, run by independent Russian journalists, appear to show residents close to the substation panicking as they question the bright flashes in the sky. One local resident describes seeing the bright light before losing access to electricity, with another calling the incident a "nightmare."

More than 10 villages and towns in the southeast of Moscow lost access to electricity, the ASTRA Telegram account also reported. The town of Lytkarino to the southeast of Moscow, lost electricity, wrote the eastern European-based independent outlet, Meduza.

Outages were reported in the southern Domodedovo area of the city, according to another Russian outlet, as well as power failures in western Moscow. Electricity was then restored to the areas, the Strana.ua outlet reported.

The cause of the reported explosion is not known. A Telegram account aggregating news for the Lytkarino area described the incident as "an ordinary accident at a substation."

The MSK1.ru outlet quoted a local resident who speculated that a drone may have been responsible for the explosion, but no other Russian source reported this as a possible cause.

Ukraine has repeatedly targeted Moscow with long-range aerial drones in recent months, including a dramatic wave of strikes in late May.

On Sunday, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the region's air defense systems had intercepted an aerial drone over the city of Elektrostal, to the east of Moscow. No damage or casualties were reported, he said.

The previous day, Russian air defenses detected and shot down another drone flying over the Bogorodsky district, northeast of central Moscow, Sobyanin said.

There is currently no evidence that an aerial drone was responsible for the reported overnight explosion at the electrical substation in southern Moscow.
