161-foot Trinity motoryacht Blind Date

The 161-foot Trinity_ Blind Date_ is named in honor of the first date that brought the owners together. Might magic strike twice — at least with a buyer who feels kismet when stepping on board?

Broker Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection sure hopes so. He holds the listing on the 2009 build, which recently had a $2 million price drop and now is for sale at $19.9 million. The yacht comes with a strong charter background and lots of potential for future bookings.

Features include a split-level master stateroom that was unusual for Trinity when it launched, as it was the first to put the bed on the lower level and an observation lounge on the top level (instead of vice versa). Patrick Knowles handled the interior décor, which is filled with muted blues, grays and silvers for a romantic effect in keeping with the yacht’s name.

Blind Date accommodates 12 guests in five staterooms, with extra quarters for 10 crew. Cruising speed is 14 knots and top speed is 18 knots. Power is a pair of 2,250-horsepower Caterpillar diesels.

Blind Date’s spacious and comfortable interior layout sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew members onboard to ensure you and your guests get the most out of your charter vacation, and enjoy the most luxurious, memorable charter vacation, utilizing all of this yacht’s available facilities and amenities.

Her impressive leisure and entertainment facilities make her perfect for entertaining friends and family. There’s space for enjoying lavish dining on deck, or simply kicking back and topping up the tan.

Luxury motor yacht BLIND DATE was launched by Hessen yachts in 2009. She measures 46.70m and features exterior design by Heesen and Frank Laupman and exceptional interior design by English designers, Keech Green working closely with the Owner. M/Y BLIND DATE has a Modern Deco interior style that is comfortable yet offers timeless elegance and glamour. She can accommodate 10-11 guests in 4 double cabins and one twin with Pullman bed.

Motor Yacht BLIND DATE is the 5th 47m displacement yacht for Heesen with unique customization which distinguishes the new yacht from her 4 older sisters.

BLIND DATE’s exterior is streamlined and flowing with a ‘pelican beak bow.' This negative sheer bow styling is now established as one of the Heesen Yacht’s trademarks. Other features that set her apart is her wheelhouse deck extension that contains a gymnasium and a staircase which connects all of her four decks.

On deck, there are endless choices for dining, relaxing and sunning including a full dining suite on the aft bridge deck and sundeck plus casual lounges ideal for cocktails on the main aft deck and foredeck. The sundeck is also equipped with a large spa pool and sunpads for guests to enjoy the sun.

BLIND DATE Specifications

Another custom feature is found in the owner’s suite, which is located forward on the main deck. Here the windows are twice their usual size (12.5 sqm), offering fantastic natural light and vistas from the owner’s main stateroom and the accompanying study.

She can attain a top speed of over 15 knots, with two MTU 8V 4000 M70 diesel engines. This luxury yacht also features ‘at anchor stabilizers’ which work at zero speed, increasing onboard comfort at anchor and on rough waters. She was built to comply to MCA and Lloyds Register, LMC standards.

Blind Date yacht video

The 49.07 metre motor yacht Blind Date is one of the latest yachts to be launched by Trinity Yachts. She made her debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October 2009. Designed by the shipyard, she’s the first Trinity to be built with the tenders on the aft deck in European fashion.

This superyacht features a modern, sophisticated interior by renowned interior designer Patrick Knowles. Her layout accommodates 10 guests in 5 cabins plus two extra Pullmans, including a two level master suite with a private lounge area.

Blind Date was awarded a Judges’ Special Commendation at the 2010 World Superyacht Awards.

The 49m superyacht ' BLIND DATE ' is to be renamed ROCKSTAR following a repaint. 

Expertly built by Trinity Yachts in 2009, BLIND DATE is currently in the shipyard for an extensive paint job and will be available for luxury charters in the Bahamas later this year.  She will continue to offer charters with her highly experienced Captain and crew and has the same owner. 

Her Patrick Knowles interior offers sleek and stylish surroundings where guests can unwind, featuring the finest wood panelling and contemporary furnishings. Large windows in her main salon create a bright, open space to enjoy the tranquillity of the ocean as you cruise smoothly at a speed of 14 knots thanks to her at-anchor stabilisers.

ROCKSTAR boasts on board gym facilities, a deck Jacuzzi and an al fresco dining area.  She comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests within five staterooms, including a master suite located on the main deck, three double staterooms, a twin cabin and two Pullman berths.
