Horizon 39 is a  11.9 m  monohull sailboat designed by Burk Borges and built by Horizon Yacht Co. (USA) starting in 1982. Horizon was featured as "one of the best off-shore boats" available for under $100,000 by Cruising World back in 1998. Primarily the Horizon was sold first as a bare hull for fitting out by the owner/yard as a sloop, cutter, or even ketch/yawl. Finished boat sold as NEMO 39. Up for your consideration is my 1986 SEA RAY EXPRESS 39' included is a 2005 ZODIAK 10' dingy with a super running 1976 JOHNSON 6 hp short shaft motor. we purchased this boat last year and put over $6000.00 in upgrades in the last year. New canvas and stratoglass , new upholstery in salon and mid cabin , and new matress in forward cabin . The genset is a newer KOHLER repalacement with only 84 hours. the 454's are clocked at 1000 hrs. but run fantastic. Trany's work flawless. There is a remote controled spotlight , and a power up windlass. Also a GARMIN CHARTPLOTTER ,DEPTH AND FISH FINDER. ALL FRESH WATER HOSES REPLACED....ALL GAS FILL HOSES REPLACED....NEW PORT FRESH WATER PUMP. Boat features 2 air conditioner reverse cycle heat units, 6 gal. hot water heater , septic system replaced with vacuflush system, . Galley features , nice corner double bowl SS sink , electric stovetop , microwave , and full size fridge with freezer. There is also an icemaker in the port seating group unit in the cockpit. This boat will sleep 2 in the forward cabin , 2 in the mid starboard cabin , and 2 on the salon settee. and a BUNCH of small kids in the cockpit seating. There is a tv ,dvd and surround receiver in the salon and tv in the forward cabin , along with a sink with hot and cold water. WHY ARE WE SELLING YOU MIGHT ASK : my wife has been diagnosed with brain cancer and must stop working ,,,, it was her income that afforded the boat , slip , gas, and spending money. Now that that is gone we have to sell . Between what we paid last year for the boat , and all the upgrades , I am loosing a great deal of money , but,,, my loss could be your gain. this boat was appraised last year for$ 32,0000.00 and we are asking $28,900.00 to bail out. i have included a bunch of pics , if you have any questions i can be reached at 610 836 2558 ask for Frank boat is located on KENT ISLAND MD on the CHESSAPEAK

Where do I start. 42 feet long and 14 foot beam , 2 air conditioning units working , 454 crusaders with 875 hours on them , New oil , new spark plugs , new spark plug wires , new oil filters , new distributor caps , new manifolds and elbow risers , new transmission fluid and adjusted transmissions , oil coolers and raw water pumps with new shafts and impellors all rebuilt by radiator shop , new gaskets on raw water strainers all cleaned out , some new hoses and clamps , new generator with under 100 hours on it , new heat exchangers on both engines , boat runs at around 155 degrees on both engines , new canvas , new carpeting , new upholstery throughout whole boat , new hatch on front cabin , 19 inch TV in main stateroom , 32 inch TV in Salon , Upgraded 3 prop to 4 prop propellers , Two new batteries , new propeller shafts with stuffing boxes removed and water cooled shaft system installed , What I haven't finished under water lights need fixing , 100 gallon water tank needs to be replaced , trim tabs need to be worked on but not replaced , don't know if hot water heater works I disconnected it in Florida because don't need it and makes starboard engine run hotter than port on all boats, two staterooms , full bathroom , huge salon with full kitchen , huge sitting area in back with big swim platform.
