Jorge and Camilla were amazing! Started on time and she was very attentive. Jorge set the itinerary for the afternoon as we had no specific request. We decided to add more time and have lunch so he called and got us a slip reservation last minute so we could have quick lunch at Casablanca. Food there is 🔥. Highly recommended crew! See them both in 3 wks!

It is essential that your yacht meets your needs in terms of size and capacity. If you are unsure, one of our brokers will be happy to assist you in choosing a yacht that meets all your requirements.

What should I bring with me for the charter?

To help you pack imagine what you’ll be doing on your charter.

We find that most people generally like to pack swim wear/ bathing suits, comfortable footwear such as gym shoes or sandals, and sunglasses. Soft side luggage is highly recommended, as they will easily fit inside cabin compartments. If anybody in your party is susceptible to seasickness, we would highly recommend having over the counter or prescription medication with you.

If you are a not an American national and chartering in American waters, it is essential that you bring your passport. This is a legal requirement; you will be asked to present your passport if encountered by the US Coast Guard. If you are a US national, a valid driver license or other government issued ID will be required.

Other than the additions we have mentioned, all essentials will be waiting for you once you embark onboard your yacht.

What is the processing fee?

The processing fee is collected when a purchase is made through the website checkout. We accept most debit and credit cards. To avoid this fee, we encourage wire, Zelle or ACH payments. Please contact your broker and inform them what your preferred method of payment.

What you should know…

Charters are available for Half Day (4 Hours), Full Day (8 hours) or Multi day. You’ll have a captain and stewardess catering to your every whim. Water, Soda, Ice and Fuel for local Miami cruising are included. All charters begin at Miami Beach Marina, Sea Isles Marina or Fontainebleau Marina. We’ll work with you to create the perfect itinerary based on your needs. Cruising hot spots include: Star Island, Palm Island and Hibiscus Island were you can have a sneak peek of celebrity homes and top Miami Beach Real Estate. Then cruise down to Nixon’s Sandbar in Key Biscayne, where you can anchor and swim. As evening approaches and it’s time to head back; we finish your charter cruising by downtown Miami and watching the sunset over our beautiful skyline as the city lights come alive.

HERE ARE SOME DO'S AND DON'TS

• Non-Commercially licensed private yachts or sailboats cannot take more than 13 guests on board at one time. Keep the size of your group down or choose from one of our larger commercially licensed sailing catamarans that can take up to 50+ guests.
• You can bring your own provisions, or we can supply nutritious picnic style light lunches or dinners and beverages at a very reasonable cost.
• On the larger vessels, we can provide a private chef who can prepare special gourmet lunches or dinners for your special event.
• Be careful of scammers and fly-by-night brokers. Boatmiami.com is part of the American Yacht Group that has been chartering yachts in Miami and Fort Lauderdale for over 20 years. We know the boats, we know the crews.
• We can arrange for a wide variety of watersports equipment and water-toys, i.e. snorkeling equipment, jet-skis, etc.

Yes, passengers are free to bring whatever food, drinks, and alcohol they would like on their Miami yacht charter. We just ask that you not bring any red wine because it stains the boats. We want all our customers to have fun on their Miami yacht charter. Drink responsibly!

The cost of your Miami yacht charter will very on the size of the boat, length of the trip, and other factors. If you are looking for a cheap yacht rental in Miami, our cheapest boat rental in Miami is our 29ft Sea Ray which costs $1,500 for 4 hours.

Most of our yachts depart from Miami Beach Marina in South Beach. We have other yachts that depart from different marinas in south beach. We also have some options that leave from downtown Miami.

Yes, you must bring the card that you used to pay for the yacht rental and you must bring a photo ID that matches the credit card used to book the yacht rental. The photo ID must also clearly match the individual presenting the ID and credit card.

Miami Blue Yacht Rental does not allow for cancellations under any circumstances within 30 days of the departure of your trip. Cancellations made between 90 days and 30 days of your trip’s departure are subject to a 50% refund of the total cost of your charter. Cancellations made prior to 90 days of your trip departure will receive a full refund.

The cancellation policy above applies only to day trips. Any overnight charters will follow a separate cancellation policy that will be outlined in the charter contract between Miami Blue Yacht Rental and the client.

Miami Blue Yacht Rental will cancel charters if there is inclement weather preventing us from conducting the trip. In the event of inclement weather, we will issue a credit that is valid for 3 years after the initial charter departure date. That credit can be used towards a future charter with Miami Blue Yacht Rental.

Miami Blue Yacht Rental reserves the right to determine whether or not the weather permits us from conducting the charter.

For almost all of our Miami yachts we can only take a maximum of 12 guests due to United States Coast Guard regulations. Even if the boat you rented is over 100ft, it can only take a maximum of 12 passengers. The only Miami charter yachts that can take more than 12 passengers are event or party yachts with special certifications.

To rent a yacht with Miami Blue, the individual making payment and signing the charter contract must be at least 18 years of age. Customers are required to submit full payment up front to reserve a yacht or boat. If the departure date is more than 90 days away, customers are allowed to rent a boat or yacht with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance will be charged 90 days before the trip departs.

On the day of the charter, the individual who made the payment and signed the contract is required to be on board the vessel. That individual must arrive at the vessel with the credit card they used to book the boat or yacht, and they must arrive with a photo ID that matches the name on the credit card used to book the charter.

Yes, you can bring whatever food, drinks, or alcohol you’d like. We just ask that you don’t bring red wine because it stains the boats. You can also arrange to have your charter catered. We will connect you with one of our preferred partners who will handle all of the catering. In most cases, you can have the catering delivered to the yacht prior to your trip. That way everything is setup and ready to go when you arrive.

Yes. You are free to switch to a different yacht or boat if you give us at least 48 hours’ notice and the alternative yacht or boat is available on the date requested. If there is an additional cost of the new yacht, you would simply need to pay the additional balance for the upgraded vessel.

Yes, you can have your yacht rental catered. We can connect you with local caterers who can deliver food to the boat prior to the charter. You are also free to arrange food with your own caterer and bring it with you on the charter.

Smoking rules vary depending on which Miami yacht you book. Most of our yachts allow for vaping and electronic cigarettes on any part of the yacht that is not enclosed. Some of our yachts allow for smoking but only in specific areas on the yacht. Usually somewhere off the back of the yacht so that the smoke and ash does not get on the yacht.

The number of bedrooms on your Miami yacht tour will depend on the type and size of the yacht you book. All of our Miami yacht charter listings have information on the number of beds and the number of staterooms for each yacht. What’s included on your Miami yacht tour will depend on which yacht you book. Each of our yacht your listings state the water toys and floats that are included. • Balloons are not allowed on board on of our yacht or boat rentals. Balloons can cause issues and make it difficult for the crew to navigate. Additionally, if the balloons pop and fall into the water they are terrible for the environment. • Self-tanning oils and bronzers are not allowed onboard. The cause stains on the yacht’s upholstery that are very difficult to remove. • Please avoid wearing denim or jean clothing as the dyes from these clothes can stain the upholstery when they get wet. • Please do not wear any temporary hair dye or wigs. The ink seeps out due to the moisture and the humidity and can cause bad stains. • Please avoid bringing wed wine or other similar drinks. If they spill they can cause stains that are extremely difficult to clean and remove. • No Hookah, shisha, or other items that have an open flame such as BBQ equipment, gas, propane, coals, etc. • We do not allow glitter or confetti on our yacht charters. • No pets are allowed on board our yachts. • Any damage that is caused to the yacht upholstery, flooring, or other surfaces caused by beverages, smoking, or dye from wet clothing will incur additional charges for the repair and damages to be fixed.

We ask our customers not to wear shoes on our yachts to help keep the yacht clean and to help maintain the condition of the yacht. If you wear shoes on your yacht rental in Miami, it can bring dirt onto the yacht or damage the deck of the boat. In order to have a clean boat for the duration of your Miami yacht charter, we ask our guests to remove their shoes.

Once you confirm your reservation, your broker will process your payment.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Perfect spot for some weekend activity! Friendly staff and great location! Cameron did an excellent job in getting my party ready for some enjoyable kayaking experience.

Cash only!! (Only reason it's not a 5!) Plan ahead.... Solid service by Bri, and the young men who launch you and help you back in. Thanks for such an affordable, reliable kayaking opportunity. Part of my summer rituals now.... Know that the website is not current, either.... But what they do, they do well!

Reasonable prices but cash only. Equipments are fine and easy renting. The old man and the young guy both were helpful. 1.5-2 hrs kayak/ canoe is totally worth it. Social distancing and masks are requiredat the dock at these convos times but later can be removed in the boats.

Had lot of geese accompany us!!

This goes back some time, but had the same experience as other reviewers here with the "older man" and felt compelled to write this review. Brought extended family (with young kids) to rent some canoes. Found the front desk empty during regular hours. Stepped onto the deck in front of the river to see if anyone was around. Eventually we noticed the "older man" by himself with some canoes. He ignored us. We asked if he worked here and he went ballistic. Started yelling at us and punching canoes. Getting violent and unpredictable. We retreated quickly to our car. Absolutely confused by the incident. We reached out to the owner by phone to report the incident and she basically told us "what do you want me to do about it?" As I understand it, he is related to the owner and she is well aware of this ongoing problem. Read the other reviews, this is not an isolated incident.

I really enjoyed Canoeing here, the concord river is huge so we canoed for 3+ hours but only covered a fraction of the river. The boat house has double kayaks, canoes, and single kayaks. Be aware that this place is CASH ONLY. They had someone help us get in and out of the boat which was nice. The price I believe is changed by hour then after 3 hours, the price no longer goes up. The facilities are on the older side but did not impact our experience. I would make five stars if they accepted credit card and/or could book from their website.

Good prices, equipment is ok, but the best is the excursion to the minute man historic monument and house. Make sure you pick a good, clear, and warm day for your excursion. The rental was quick and efficient. Not much training or "friendliness", just to business and off you go on the water.

Fun expeditions to minute man historical monument

David was great. He provided us with maps of the river, advised us on some hidden gems and shallow areas to watch out for, and was generally speaking just a really kind person. I was glad we ended up here - David's warm welcome was a great way to begin a lovely afternoon paddling trip. Will definitely be back.

Love this beautiful spot! The new 3rd generation owner is amazing! She is so kind, professional, and hardworking. The customer service is top notch and the views on the river are stunning. Can't recommend this place enough!

What a great place this is. The prices could be a little less, but it's still worth it. The Sudbury River water isn't the cleanest but it's all good...the boathouse has nothing to do with that. They don't take debit or credit cards like the website says. They should update the site. I know that the boathouse may have survived some massive water damage throughout the years with floods...but it still upholds its charm. My experiences have been pretty fair when it comes to the staff. There's a lot of wild life which is a plus!

This is a lovely little spot to come to and have an 1 1/2 canoe or kayak down river through Concord. It's very pretty and we had the opportunity to take some wonderful pictures. The boat house has a working bathroom and lots of boats, the staff are young but helpful. There is an easiness to renting (cash only). They offer a lunch and dinner cruise that could be nice but the menu wasn't of interest. We would recommend this and do it again!
