Located on the white sandy beaches of Rockingham overlooking Cockburn Sound. The home of the Cockburn Sound Regatta. The Cruising Yacht Club of WA is a great place to visit, a great place to eat, and a great place to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink while watching the magical sunset behind the plethora of yachts on Cockburn Sound. Open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday 12pm – 8pm, and open for lunch on Sunday 12pm – 3pm. (General public welcome, conditions apply). See our website for all upcoming events. Come in and say hello!

The Cruising Yacht Club of WA exceed our expectations for the wedding reception. I was a bit nervous about the food as I heard mixed reviews, but the food was outstanding. We had a buffet. All our guest at our wedding raved about how good the food was & some of our friends are chefs. I can’t wait to have many more events here. With all the fairy lights the place really does come alive. The thing I didn’t like is we had to pay a fee to set up the day before in the space. Which I personally think it was a bit harsh to make someone pay that fee to set up the day before if the room is empty/ not being used. The staff who worked at our wedding reception where so friendly & lovely. We wanted to be friends with them all. Thanks for making our day so special. - Hayley McDonald

The Cruising Yacht Club of WA Inc. is a private club for the use and enjoyment by its members and guests. Situated south of Perth on the shore of Cockburn Sound, the club enjoys a mild climate and protected waters ideal for the enjoyment of the sea. The Club offers excellent restaurant and function facilities, along with fully licenced bar at the clubhouse, situated on the waterfront strip of Rockingham, moorings, and a hardstand area available at Point Peron.

We certainly do. Our buffets are fully labelled so guests with dietary requirements are aware of what they can eat. For set menus, our chefs can provide a seperate meal to suit your guests with dietary needs. For cocktail menus and canapés, you will have options to suit specific dietary needs.

The Cruising Yacht Club of WA is an Australian Sailing accredited Discover Sailing Centre offering a comprehensive sail training program for our members. From beginner sailing courses to advanced high-performance training, we provide a diverse range of classes. Our courses are well-structured and proven, catering to different skill levels and goals. We offer basic courses for fun and participation, as well as performance coaching for those aspiring to compete at local, state, national, and international levels.

From Kwinana Freeway Northbound

• Exit at Safety Bay Road
• Continue over roundabouts and through traffic lights until you reach Ennis Avenue.
• Turn Right on to Ennis Avenue
• Continue through traffic lights to end of Ennis Avenue
• Turn Right on to Patterson Road
• Go straight over roundabout and through 2 sets of traffic lights
• Turn Left on to Harrison Street
• Turn First Right on to Val Street
• The Cruising Yacht Club car park is on your left hand side.

From Kwinana Freeway Southbound

• Exit at Thomas Road and Turn Right
• Follow through traffic lights and turn Left on to Patterson Road
• Continue through 5 sets of traffic lights, straight over 1 roundabout and through 2 further sets of traffic lights

From Rockingham Transperth Station

• Trains run frequently from both Perth and Mandurah to Rockingham Station
• Take Bus number 555 to Railway Terrace Stop
