The award winning 62m/203'5" motor yacht 'Voice' was built by CRN in Italy at their Ancona shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Nuvolari Lenard and she was delivered to her owner in July 2020. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Nuvolari Lenard.

Guest Accommodation

Voice has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising five VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Voice is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M63) 1,500hp engines running at 1800rpm, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Voice features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) C ✠ HULL ✠ MACH classification society rules.

CRN is a bespoke shipbuilder that specialises in designing and building fully custom aluminium or steel/aluminium yachts of up to 95 metres.

Voice measures 62.00 metres in length and has a beam of 11.50 feet. She has a deck material of teak.

Voice has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

It is not necessary to live, it is necessary to sail; This is the firm belief of Italian design company Nuvolari & Lenard. No stranger to high-profile yacht design, the studio has stamped its distinctive style on a number of the ocean’s biggest and brightest.

VOICE features

VOICE is a bespoke 62m super yacht meticulously crafted to embody the Owners' unique vision. Reflective of its namesake, music holds profound significance in the lives of her Owner. Their desire for an immersive audio experience led to the integration of top-tier sound systems tailored for audiophiles.

The desired sound levels were deliberately kept to a minimum, surpassing the criteria necessary for the RINA classification society’s Comfort Class notation. Attaining these specifications wasn't merely a contractual obligation but also a source of engineering pride.

Crafted specifically for this vessel, the steel displacement hull features a bulbous bow beneath a sleek entry, meticulously designed and tested using CFD analysis and real-life simulations in a water tank. The exterior designs striking visual identity is enhanced by the personalized color scheme, including a smoky quartz hull, silver sand superstructure, and jet black detailing, all contributing to the yacht's unique and commanding presence.

Within the yacht's interiors, under the direction of Valentina Zannier, head of Nuvolari Lenard's interior division, lies a wealth of intricate detailing. One notable example, as pointed out by the yacht's architect, is a recurring geometric pattern adorning a custom-made rug and intricately fashioned wooden furniture crafted by List.

Equipped with the HUG scrubbing system and Selective Catalytic Reduction technology, the yacht achieves an impressive 70 percent reduction in total NOx emissions, in line with CRN's progressive standards. Furthermore, it has attained an additional AUT - UMS class notation, signifying its machinery's capacity to operate independently, without continuous engineer intervention.

M/Y Voice: A CRN bespoke masterpiece

The 62m custom superyacht is both an aesthetic and a technological marvel….

One of the most notable new yacht launches in the past year, the elegant 62m M/Y Voice was built by CRN Shipyard – a part of the Ferretti group. Voice was designed in collaboration with Italian architecture studio Nuvolari Lenard, who worked closely with the shipyard to develop the initial concept, as well as the interior and exterior styling. A fully-custom yacht that spans five decks, she can accommodate 12 guests across six cabins, arranged as an owner’s suite and five VIP cabins.   The customisation showcased in various elements of Voice demonstrates the CRN commitment to precisely fulfil the owner’s vision ; an ethos that is reflected in the yard’s payoff : “Made by you, with our own hands”. As for all CRN bespoke yachts, her owner was intricately involved in the creation of Voice and directly supervised the entire design and build process. The distinctive, aerodynamic, bold lines, that stand out for miles, and sharp profile of Voice was a particular area of focus for him, holding over 40 meetings with the dedicated shipyard’s project management team to ensure this specific element of the yacht’s design was exactly as he imagined. The unique smokey quartz coloured hull is a fully-custom replica of the shade that adorns the owner’s favorite car – a specific request from the client – which perfectly complements the silver sand superstructure and jet black details.   One of the stand-out features on board Voice is the state-of-the-art music system, reflecting a lifelong passion of the owner. The audio system throughout the yacht was meticulously designed to mirror the quality typically found within a music studio. To achieve the soundproofing requested by the owner and see a noise reduction of up to 60 decibels on board, 70 tonnes of insulating materials were used throughout Voice , with the build team focusing particularly on the partition bulkheads and internal dividing doors.   In addition to her stunning design, the owner was determined to create a high-performance vessel that outshone her peers in terms of technology and safety. As a result, Voice can achieve an impressive maximum speed of 16.5 knots with a range of 5,500 miles and is fully autonomous so can be sailed without the supervision of a chief engineer. Reflecting the needs of clients in the modern age, Voice features the highest standards of cyber security systems to protect all those on board, certified by Lloyd's Register.   Voice is the first CRN superyacht to earn IMO Tier III certification, to be followed by the others CRN fully-custom yachts currently under construction. This means her nitrogen oxide (NOx) exhaust emissions are 70% less than other yachts. A shining achievement for the shipyard, Voice is equipped with a state-out-the-art Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system that works by injecting urea in the exhaust system reducing the formation of NOx. The CRN technical engineering team worked tirelessly to develop this system that would deliver the results the owner wanted without detracting from the living space on board.   Following her delivery to her satisfied owner in the summer of 2020, Voice’s maiden voyage took place throughout the Mediterranean. A busy time for the shipyard, there are currently four other fully custom vessels in build at CRN Ancona shipyard: 62m M/Y 138, 72m M/Y 139, 60m M/Y 141 and 52m CRN M/Y 142.

CRN Delivers 62 Metre Superyacht CRN 137 Voice

Italian shipyard  CRN  has delivered its 62 metre Nuvolari Lenard-designed superyacht CRN 137, which has been named Voice .

The yacht is now cruising the Mediterranean on its maiden voyage. It comes after the IMO Tier III certified superyacht first hit the water in November.

Ferretti Group chief operating officer Stefano de Vivo previously said the finished fully customised yacht sports a "really contemporary, fantastic design."

Completed at CRN's Ancona facility, CRN 137 was designed by Nuvolari Lenard inside and out, working closely with CRN's in-house technical facility.

The yard previously revealed that the yacht sports "the unmistakable all-Italian style of Nuvolari Lenard", with "rakish yet harmonious lines that seem to be shaped by the wind."

"The bow is vertical, not to follow the current trend, but to ensure maximum length in the water, thereby increasing speed and maximising the forward volumes, where the  tender garage  is located."

The layout comprises accommodation for 12 guests split across six cabins. The raised  owner's deck  boasts direct access to the al fresco dining area aft and the panoramic observation lounge forward.

Power comes from a pair of 2,011hp MTU 12V 4000 engines for a top speed of 16.5 knots.

Italian shipyard CRN has announced the successful launch and delivery of the 62m/203.4ft luxury yacht VOICE from the Ancona yard.

Luxury yacht CRN137 VOICE delivered

CRN137 M/Y VOICE is currently on her maiden voyage cruising in the Mediterranean and sports an athletic steel hull painted in smoky quartz and an aluminium superstructure with black detailing. Nuvolari Lenard developed her concept from a design by the CRN shipyard, and the naval architecture, as well as her interior and exterior styling, is also by the studio.

Her beam of 11.5m/37.7ft provides plenty of space onboard both indoors and outside, and across the five decks, there is a Master suite and 5 further VIP staterooms to sleep up to 12 guests. The upper deck is designed as an exclusive space for the Owner, where the en-suite accommodation is placed aft with a panoramic lounge on the bow for entertaining in privacy.

Motor yacht VOICE is the first CRN superyacht to receive IMO Tier III certification, reducing nitrogen oxide exhaust emissions by 70%.

The CRN shipyard is also constructing three other fully custom luxury yachts: The 62m/203ft M/Y 138, the 72m/236ft M/Y 139 and the 60m/197ft M/Y 141.

Italian superyacht builder CRN has had a strong month, recently announcing the sale of a custom 170-ft. yacht and the delivery of another 203-footer to its owner. The company said on Friday that it had delivered M/Y 137, called Voice , to the owner and the happy family is now using it for a maiden Mediterranean cruise. The yacht was designed by Nuvolari Lenard, who did both the concept for the interior and exterior.

M/Y 137 has five decks, with a master suite and five VIP staterooms, with the upper deck reserved for the owner. That means more than a bedroom, but also a separate lounge forward for privacy or entertaining friends. The yacht is also the first from the Italian shipyard to be IMO Tier III compliant, which means that nitrogen emissions have been cut by 70 percent.

CRN said in a separate statement that it will be building a custom 170-ft. all-aluminum yacht. Netherlands-based Omega Architects created the exterior concept, while Massair Design did the proposals for the interiors. CRN said both the interior and exterior were designed to mirror the client’s personality.

A sense of openness and space, but in a compact-looking profile, is becoming standard for next-gen yacht designs like this new 170-ft. CRN design that just found a new owner.  CRN

Design-wise, the yacht does look towards the future, with a low profile and vertical bow, and large windows along gunwales. There are also large exterior social areas on both the forward end and back in the cockpit, with a swimming pool and large swim platform. The upper and top decks also have open areas, though the upper deck has a lounge that allows for socializing and dining in air conditioning.

CRN said this new yacht will be its third successful collaboration with Netherlands-based Omega Architects. The other yachts were the 240-ft. Yalla and 203-ft. CRN M/Y 138, currently under construction.

The other yachts being built at CRN’s shipyard include the 236-ft. M/Y 139, 197-ft. M/Y 141 and the 203-ft. M/Y 138.

Financial advisors are quick to warn prospective owners that a boat is nothing more than a hole in the water in which to throw money. When it comes to superyachts , you'd better have bags and bags of cash.

As one luxury agent told Business Insider at the Palm Beach International Boat Show: "Buying a boat, it's a huge purchase — and nobody needs a yacht."

A superyacht, generally over 30 meters long, is one of the most expensive assets money can buy, with the largest costing more than a lot of real estate or a private jet. Billionaires like Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Steve Jobs each spent nine figures on their megayachts.

That doesn't include operating costs. Owners should expect to pay about 10% of a yacht's new-build price each year, experts told Business Insider. That's tens of millions of dollars annually for the most luxurious boats.

"It's a small-to-medium-sized business in its own right," said Jeffrey Beneville, a senior vice president at insurance company NFP, where he specializes in consulting clients about yachts.

Unlike many smaller boats, superyachts need staff, not just a captain. Some superyachts have space for dozens of crewmembers , including a chef, engineer, and masseuse for the guests onboard. Each gets an annual salary — the highest-ranking members earn six figures — and benefits. Eric Schmidt's yacht fits a crew of 28 for a ratio of about two crewmembers per guest.

Then there's fuel, dockage fees, routine maintenance, and insurance. The latter hinges on everything from the reputation of a yacht's shipyard to where an owner wants to take it (if a vessel is taking frequent trips to the South China Sea, for example, expect to pay a higher premium). If a superyacht has a support yacht — or a support superyacht, in Bezos ' case — expect to pay another 10% of that boat's price annually.

"The cost to maintain a yacht is so high that they just think that money's getting lit on fire," Matthew Fleissig, the CEO of wealth management firm Pathstone, told BI of his clients who choose to charter rather than own.

One of his firm's clients who does own has a 23-meter yacht valued at $5.2 million. The annual cost to staff, maintain, dock, and insure the boat is $346,297, according to documentation provided to BI. The lion's share is spent on marina fees ($95,970) and maintenance work ($88,408.) While not exactly a Sunfish, that boat is too small to count as a superyacht.

At 106 meters, the Amadea, owned by a sanctioned Russian oligarch , definitely does. The $300 million yacht, which was seized in 2022 and is docked in San Diego, cost $922,000 a month to maintain, a court filing showed: $360,000 for crew salaries, $75,000 for fuel, $144,000 for insurance, $178,000 in dry-docking fees, and $165,000 for maintenance, waste removal, food for the crew, and miscellaneous expenses.

"And that's an inactive yacht that's in the water," NFP's Beneville said.

If it were operational and carrying guests, the costs would be about twice that, or between $20 million and $30 million a year, he added.

Of course, it makes more financial sense for the non-obsessives to charter, and many of Fleissig's clients do. And some owners choose to offer their yachts for charter — the most luxurious cost as much as $1 million a week — to offset the costs.

"If you charter the boat for 50 days a year, it's going to help a lot," Anders Kurtén, the CEO of brokerage firm Fraser Yachts, told BI.

Then again, the running costs don't matter as much at a certain point. "If you're worth $30 billion, it's nothing. And if you're worth $117 billion — and these are the guys we're talking about — they're in it as long as it's still enjoyable for them," Beneville said. "It's not a money thing."

G PT-4o is the latest and greatest large language model (LLM) AI released by OpenAI, and it brings with it heaps of new features for free and paid users alike. It’s a multimodal AI and enhances ChatGPT with faster responses, greater comprehension, and a number of new abilities that will continue to roll out in the weeks to come.

With increasing competition from Meta’s Llama 3 and Google’s Gemini , OpenAI’s latest release is looking to stay ahead of the game. Here’s why it’s so exciting.

Availability and price

If you’ve been using the free version of ChatGPT for a while and jealously eyed the features that ChatGPT Plus users have been enjoying , there’s great news! You too can now play around with image detection, file uploads, find custom GPTs in the GPT Store, utilize Memory to retain your conversation as you chat so that you don’t need to repeat yourself, and analyze data and perform complicated calculations.

That’s all alongside the higher intelligence of the standard GPT-4 model, which GPT-4o is an equivalent of, even if it was trained from the ground up as a multimodal AI. The reason this is possible is because GPT-4o is computationally far cheaper to run, meaning it requires fewer tokens, which makes it more viable for a wider user base to enjoy it.

However, free users will have a limited number of messages they can send to GPT-4o per day. When that threshold is reached, you’ll be bumped over to the GPT-3.5 model.

It’s way faster

GPT-4 was distinct from GPT-3.5 in a number of ways, and speed was one of them. GPT-4 was just way, way slower, even with its advances in recent months and the introduction of GPT-4 Turbo. However, GPT-4o is almost instantaneous. That makes its text responses far swifter and more actionable, with voice conversations occurring in closer to real- time.

While response speed feels like more of a nice-to-have feature than a game-changing one, the fact that you can get responses in near real time makes GPT-4o a much more viable tool for tasks like translation and conversational help.

Advanced voice support

Although upon its initial debut, GPT-4o is only able to work with text and images, it’s been built from the ground up to utilize voice commands and to be able to interact with users using audio. That means that where GPT-4 could take a voice, convert it into text, respond to that, and then convert its text response to a voice output, GPT-4o can hear a voice, and respond in kind. With its improved speed, it can respond far more conversationally, and can understand unique aspects of voice like tone, pace, mood, and more.

GPT-4o can laugh , be sarcastic, catch itself when making a mistake, and adjust midstream, and you can interrupt it conversationally without that derailing its response. It can also understand different languages and translate on the fly, making it usable as a real-time translation tool. It can sing — or even duet with itself.

This could be used for interview prep, singing coaching, running role-playing NPCs, telling dramatic bedtime stories with different voices and characters, creating voiced dialogue for a game project, telling jokes ( and laughing in response to yours ), and so much more.

Improved comprehension

GPT-4o understands you much better than its predecessors did, especially if you speak to it. It can read tone and intention far better, and if you want it to be relaxed and friendly, it’ll joke with you in an attempt to keep the conversation light.

When it’s analyzing code or text, it’ll take your intentions into consideration far more, making it better at giving you the response you want and requiring less-specific prompting. It’s better at reading video and images, making it capable of understanding the world around it.

In several demos, OpenAI showed users filming the room they’re in, with GPT-4o models then describing it. In one video, the AI even described the room space to another version of itself, which then had its own responses based on that description.

Native macOS desktop app

Native AI in Windows is still restricted to the very limited Copilot (for now), but macOS users will soon be able to make full use of ChatGPT and its new GPT-4o model right from the desktop . With a new native desktop app, ChatGPT will be more readily available — and with a new user interface to boot — making it easier to use than ever before.

The app will be available for most ChatGPT Plus users in the coming days, and will be rolled out to free users in the coming weeks. A Windows version is promised for later this year.

It’s not all quite ready, yet

At the time of writing, the only aspects of GPT-4o that are available to the public are the text and image modes. There’s no advanced voice support, no real-time video comprehension, and the macOS desktop app won’t be available to everyone for a few more days at least.

But it is all coming. These changes and other exciting upgrades for ChatGPT are just around the corner.

Falling for a TV show is not exactly like falling for a romantic relationship. But it’s not un like it, either. There’s the initial flirtation, when you sample an episode or two to see how it strikes you. If all goes well, there’s the moment of commitment, when you decide to stick around to see the story play out. Then there’s the long haul: With each successive season, the series has the opportunity to deepen and mature — or to stagnate.

To be sure, there’s still plenty of fun to be found on the Regency-era marriage market, this time under showrunner Jess Brownell (replacing creator Chris Van Dusen). The main storyline is built around the series’ single most charming character, Penelope Featherington ( Nicola Coughlan ) — the wallflower who secretly has the entire ton under her thumb as Lady Whistledown, the anonymous author of its most notorious scandal sheet. For years, Penelope has pined after Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), her big-hearted friend and neighbor. When Colin returns from his grand tour of Europe at precisely the moment Penelope decides it’s time to get serious about finding a husband, those long-simmering feelings come to a head.

On the whole, however, this outing lacks the giddiness of earlier ones. Technically, there’s still plenty of skin. Previous leads Anthony and Kate (Simone Ashley) spend much of their return tangled in bedsheets, deep in the bliss of their honeymoon phase. Colin, who’s returned from his travels more dashing than ever, spends his days flirting with every eligible bachelorette in London, and his evenings sleeping his way through the brothels. And Benedict is stuck yet again in an aimless subplot that — at least in the six hours of eight that I’ve seen — serves no apparent purpose beyond meeting the season’s quota of sex scenes.

But the delicious yearning that has been Bridgerton ‘s bread and butter is dulled, significantly, by the fact that there’s not much actually standing between the would-be couple. It’s simply a matter of waiting out Colin until he catches feelings for Penelope — and even once he does, he’s so slow to make a move that one might be tempted to root for her other suitor, the scandalously vegetarian Lord Debling (Sam Phillips).

If anything, the most poignant love story is the one between Penelope and Colin’s little sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie), childhood besties whose bond was destroyed last season by Eloise’s discovery of Penelope’s activities as Whistledown. Eloise has since warmed up to mean-girl Cressida (an amusing Jessica Madsen), while Penelope has retreated into the company of her intolerable family. Yet neither woman seems able to get the other off her mind. When Penelope unveils her makeover at a party, it’s Eloise, not Colin, who can’t tear her eyes away. When Penelope sets her sights on Colin, it’s Eloise, not Debling, who reacts with the anguish of a jilted lover. It’s enough to make one wonder what a Bridgerton bold enough to break from Julia Quinn’s source material could have been.
