Conor McGregor is recovering in style from his gruesome leg injury — with a nearly $4 million Lamborghini yacht dubbed the “Supercar of the Sea.”

The MMA fighter, this year’s highest-paid athlete, according to Forbes , unveiled the high-end ride on his Instagram Tuesday.

“My Lamborghini yacht is ready,” he captioned a photo of the lime green vessel.

The Irish brawler, 33, purchased the limited-edition Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 back in October, according to TMZ .

The 24-ton boat is 63 feet long, can reach up to 60 knots and has a 4,000 horsepower engine, the outlet reported.

It could be where McGregor spends the next couple of weeks recovering from an unsightly leg injury he suffered in a loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

MMA Icon and UFC fighter Conor McGregor is one of the highest-paid athletes so it comes as no surprise that he is the proud owner of a $3.6 Million Luxury Lamborghini yacht.  

Conor McGregor is the first UFC fighter ever to hold two weight class championships simultaneously. In 2017 he also stepped into the world of boxing to take on Floyd Mayweather. He was officially ranked as the worlds highest-paid athlete by Forbes in 2021. However, his most significant financial moment occurred when he sold his Irish whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve, for a staggering sum of over $500 million dollars.

Known for his lavish lifestyle and love for luxury. He is also a big fan of fast cars and yachts. Last July, he celebrated his 34th birthday on his newly acquired luxury yacht, which he calls the “supercar of the sea.” The yacht is a collaboration between Italian Sea Group and Lamborghini, and it is the first-ever luxury yacht from the Italian sports car manufacturer.

The Lamborghini yacht is a new addition to McGregor’s collection and Conor has said that it is one of the best purchases he’s ever made.

No stranger when it comes to flaunting his wealth, he has been known to post his other possessions and his latest extravagant purchase on his Instagram page for the world to see and some of his toys include a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, a Urus, Rolls-Royce Ghost, Betley Continental GT, and a Range Rover just to name a few.

Conor Mcgregor’s yacht has been posted on his socials multiple times since his purchase last year and rightfully so his ear-to-ear grin shows his excitement. McGregor and his fiancé Dee Devlin have spent a large amount of time on his yacht in southern France since its purchase.

They were also in attendance for the Formula 1 Grand Prix with their children in Monaco where they caught the attention of nearby yacht owners.

Conor Mcgregor’s Lamborghini yacht, officially known as Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 , is a masterpiece of Italian design and engineering. It is 63 feet long, and it can reach a top speed of 60 knots (around 70 mph), making it one of the fastest yachts in the world. In fact, the yacht is often referred to as the “Lambo Yacht” due to its high-speed capabilities and sleek, sporty design.

Although they have yet to comment on the exact number of sales, it is believed that there are less than a hundred that have been produced.

The new lamborghini sport yacht is powered by two MAN V12 engines, producing a total of 4,000 horsepower. It has a cruising speed of 40 knots (around 46 mph) and a maximum speed of 60 knots (around 70 mph).

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 features a luxurious interior with a spacious master cabin and two guest cabins, each with its own bathroom. The interior is decorated with high-quality materials such as leather, carbon-fiber superstructure, and polished stainless steel. It also has a state-of-the-art entertainment system, including a 4K 55-inch TV and a sound system that can be controlled from a smartphone app.

She was built to be light and fast on the water while maximizing comfort on board for both day trips and short weekend escapes.

You couldn’t find a better callaboration than that of Lamborghini and the Italian Sea Group when it comes to building a yacht of this caliber and it will be very exciting to see what future collaborations they launch to discrupt the yachting industry.

When superstar UFC fighter Conor McGregor announced to the world that his "Lamborghini yacht is ready" on Instagram, many fans couldn't wait to get the first glimpse of him testing out his lavish new ride on the waters. McGregor, who was the highest-paid athlete in 2021 (via  Forbes ), shelled out $3.6 million for the Lamborghini 63 last year, as first reported by TMZ back in 2020. He has since published many images and videos of the yacht on his Instagram account.

The Lamborghini 63 was built in partnership with the Italian Sea Group Tecnomar, and the model's sleek and futuristic design was inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and older Countach and Miura supercars from the '60s and '70s, according to  Lamborghini . This yacht is a limited edition and only 63 of them were put up for sale. Even though the upscale model has every feature a champion can ever wish for, McGregor reportedly had his yacht specially customized by the Italian sports car manufacturer.

It's known as the Super Car of the Seas

The Lamborghini 63 features a pair of V12 2,000 horsepower engines; it boasts a top speed of 60 knots and a cruising speed of 40 to 45 knots, making it one of the fastest yachts in its class. Usually, a vessel that's capable of reaching these speeds might mean a bumpy ride, but test trials of this super yacht have reportedly shown the opposite. Despite its high speed, cruising on this luxury yacht was described as a smooth experience with almost no vibration by  Robb Report  following a special invitation to check out the ride.

Lamborghini designed this yacht to be the super boat version of its trademark car. The outside of the limited-edition model has a distinctive angular design with Y-shaped lights and the official Lamborghini logo. The companies also used carbon fiber (the same material used to make the cars) and a fiberglass hull to help keep it as light as possible. Carbon fiber is an ideal material to make the yacht as it's reported to be five times stronger than steel , yet still lightweight at the same time. By using it, designers were able to create a boat that is 63 feet in length with a weight of just 24 tons.

The interior is stunning

Whether he's out taking it for a spin in Monaco or cruising with his fiancé Dee Devlin and his children on the French Riviera, this yacht is ideal for a leisurely cruise. One can browse through various photos posted online showing the MMA icon living his best life on his high-class cruiser while showing off the yacht's tricked-out interior. There is a sun pad on deck where McGregor and his fiancé are often pictured relaxing on both of their Instagram accounts, as well as a dinette and galley station on board, as Robb Report had revealed.

One of the Lamborghini 63's coolest features is its dashboard. Unlike other luxury yacht dashboards, the 63's dashboard is a Lambo owner's dream: it's a close replica of the Sian FKP 37, a mid-engine hybrid supercar that was released in 2021. For an avid Lamborghini collector like McGregor, he gets to feel the same luxury while out on the water, too. 

It isn't McGregor's only yacht

The Lamborghini isn't the only seafaring vessel Conor McGregor has in his fleet. The notorious MMA star also owns a 150-foot-long superyacht with an incredible number of facilities. According to his tweets , McGregor's superyacht features a bar, lounge area, child-safe sea pool, a climbing wall, and a giant inflatable slide. If the climbing wall and slide weren't outlandish enough, the vessel also has a driving range and "jousting platform."

As far as adding another vessel goes, McGregor might stick to the smaller options. When a fan pointed out a "giga-yacht" may be a bit more than the former UFC champion could afford, McGregor suggested he might be able to buy a giga-yacht one day, but didn't actually want one. He tweeted: "For now, sure. But not forever. That said I rolled into fight island on the giga yacht, there are pros and cons to them. They're almost too big. Marinas can't house them so they are kept at anchor. I like the marina vibe so I think i will go to 70-80 metre max and chill then lol"

McGregor spent a significant amount of time on his larger yacht when he was recovering from a serious leg break at UFC 264. The Irishman hasn't fought since, but he could make a return to the octagon at the end of the year, according to UFC boss Dana White. There have also been rumors of a second fight against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, or a match against YouTuber Jake Paul.

The high-performance dayboat doesn’t just bear the name of the famous Italian automaker; it’s been specifically designed to live up to the exacting standards set by its storied supercars.

The Lamborghini 63 is a true beast of a motoryacht. It measures 63 feet in length—its name is a reference to this, as well as the year Lamborghini was founded—and is powered by a pair of MAN V-12 diesel engines that produce 2,000 horsepower apiece. Thanks to this, the boat can reach a top speed of 60 knots, making it one of the fastest 63-footers in its class. At the cruising speed of 40 to 45 knots, the yacht burns 100 gallons of fuel per hour, giving it a range of 360 nautical miles.

But there’s more to a supercar than its powertrain, and the same goes for the Italian Sea Group subsidiary’s latest watercraft. The Lamborghini 63 looks just as bold and fierce as the automaker’s current crop of vehicles. Cutting a relatively low profile, it’s got a carbon-fiber superstructure that’s adorned with angular side windows that help create the front and rear hexagonal shape found on almost all of Lamborghini’s cars. The visual references don’t stop there, either. The boat is also painted the same verde gea green as the Sián and features two pilot seats like those found in the Huracán Evo, while the helm is based on the Aventador’s steering wheel. One big difference between the boat and supercars: The 63’s interior is surprisingly spacious, featuring two discrete bedrooms.

Anyone whose ever crossed paths with McGregor’s Instagram account will likely have noticed the fighter’s ravenous appetite for the finer things in life. So it should come as no surprise that he dropped $3.5 million on his new seafaring Lambo. Of course, when you’re getting paid as much as $85 million for a fight, that’s just a drop in the bucket seat.

UFC star Conor McGregor is making waves again—thanks to his new $3.6 million Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 speedboat.

Known as the “Supercar of the Sea,” the powerboat is just as notorious as its new captain, who earned $180 million last year as the world’s highest-paid athlete.

The limited-edition 63-foot-long yacht can reach 60 knots with its twin 2000hp MAN V12 engines, making it one of the fastest boats in its class.

While its lightweight carbon-fiber superstructure sports supercar style, with Lamborghini’s iconic hexagonal windows and the same verde gea color as the Sián.

The cockpit combines designs from two Lamborghini models, with leather pilot seats inspired by the Huracán Evo and the helm modeled on the Aventador steering wheel.

McGregor has a long list of luxury toys—including a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and a Urus—and the 63 is, fittingly, a knockout.

But it may be a while before he can enjoy it. In July, at UFC 264, McGregor shattered his tibia and fibula in a gruesome injury—so he will need time to heal his sea leg.

Conor McGregor has been making a splash with his new toy - finally a personalised $4million (£2.91m) Lamborghini ‘super-yacht’.

The former dual-weight UFC champion, whose net worth is believed to be $180million, made the extravagant purchase in July 2021 but has been unable to get behind the wheel of the ‘supercar of the sea' until now.

After almost a year of waiting, McGregor took to social media over the weekend to let his fans know that his vessel is finally ready and then posted a series of images.

Writing on Instagram, he said: “Today is the day!! We officially take ownership of our brand new Lamborghini Sport Yacht!"

The Irishman then began to flood his account with a series of photos of the yacht and even posted a video of him taking his new toy for a spin during a family trip to Monaco in the south of France.

He then took it for a spin again on Tuesday, posting more pictures.

Introduced in the summer of 2020, the Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 was built by Tecnomar at the Italian Sea Group HQ in Italy, with prices starting at $3.5m (£2.55m).

McGregor is believed to have packed out his yacht with up to $500,000 (£364,230) worth of customisation – mostly featuring his  Proper Twelve branding.

The 33-year-old has not competed inside the octagon since he  suffered a fractured tibia and fibula at UFC 264  in July 2021.

McGregor has been healing up ever since and has recently been back in the gym working on his fitness ahead of his eagerly anticipated return to action.

‘Mystic Mac’ has announced his intention to return at welterweight and he  thinks an immediate crack at UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is what awaits  when makes his comeback later this year.

However, that fight seems unlikely with ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ set to defend his 170lb strap against long-time contender Leon Edwards in the summer.

McGregor has previously expressed an interest in fighting for the lightweight title which will be on the line when Charles Oliveira takes on Justin Gaethje at UFC 274 this weekend.

Although, it is currently unclear if the UFC would be willing to grant their biggest star an immediate title shot despite the fact he is currently riding a two-fight losing streak and hasn't won a fight at 155lbs since 2016.

If you've ever looked at a Lamborghini and decided that it would actually be better as a boat, then you're in luck.

Meet the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a joint project between Automobili Lamborghini and yacht company The Italian Sea Group. Inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 hypercar , the limited-edition yacht is named for Lamborghini's 1963 founding year, according to a company press release . 

The Tecnomar's carbon-fiber construction makes it so that the yacht is in the "ultra-lightweight" boat classification. It weighs 24 tons, is 63 feet long, and powered by two V12 engines, each making 2,000 horsepower. 

The yacht is priced at 3 million Euros, or approximately $3.4 million. Only 63 examples will be made and will be available starting this year.

Ultimate Fighting Championship champion Conor McGregor bought one, TMZ reported late last year, securing the 12th example of only 63. It'll be ready for him by summer 2021, the outlet said.

It draws styling cues from the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 hybrid hypercar.

The “63” in its name references 1963, the year Lamborghini was established.

Powered by two V12 engines, the yacht produces a claimed combined output of 4,000 horsepower.

It’s 63 feet long.

And weighs 24 tons.

The yacht’s exterior design is meant to capture the aesthetic of the Lamborghini Miura and Countach from the 1960s and 1970s.

But with a modern interpretation.

The hardtop takes cues from Lamborghini roadsters.

The bow lights are shaped like the Y-shaped front lights found on the concept Terzo Millennio.

The stealth-gray makes it look like a torpedo.

Lamborghini says the hull is made from a high-performance shell.

It was developed by naval engineers that apparently have a specialty in hydrodynamic sciences.

That curved windshield is pretty sweet.

Imagine the wind hitting you in the face while riding in this thing.

This green looks close to the one you see on Huracáns.

These lines are extremely Lamborghini.

As is this front-end design.

In fact, the whole thing is unmistakably Lamborghini.

There’s a very extensive menu of colors and livery options customers can choose from.

The instrument panel is similar to a car cockpit.

All the details are finished in carbon fiber.

Conor McGregor Finally Takes £2.9m Lamborghini Superyacht For A Spin In Exhilarating Footage

Conor McGregor has posted thrilling footage of his first spin in his new £2.9m superyacht, one of only 63 on the planet. Watch below:

McGregor splashed out on the Lamborghini Technomar superyacht back in 2021 but took delivery of his new toy over the weekend.

The top-end yacht can reach speeds of up to 70mph, with two 4,000 horsepower V12 engines, MMA Mania reports.

It also comes kitted out with a fully operational kitchen, dining room, bedroom and bathroom.

Not content with simply having one of the fanciest yachts money can buy, McGregor also reportedly spent a further $500,000 (£390,000) on customisation, mostly on branding the boat with his whisky brand Proper 12.

To this end, the Lambo is the 12th boat produced in the run of 63.

Some of the boat’s raw power was on display in thrilling footage, showing McGregor at the helm of the boat in a questionable hat as it whizzes across the sea.

McGregor previously told MMA journalist Aaron Bronsteter the superyacht was the best purchase he’d ever made, Sunday World reports.

He said: “It's currently in Italy at the minute. It's ready for post-fight. I've a bit of work to be done after this bout, across the United States, and then I go to Italy.

"I'm going to christen my son in Italy with the family and some friends, and then I'm going to pick up my Lamborghini yacht.

"It's some vessel so I'm really excited to get into it and rally it around. I look forward to setting records on it also."

Announcing that he was finally ready to pick up the boat, he posted a picture of his daughter Croia with the caption: “Today is the day!!

"We officially take ownership of our brand new Lamborghini Sport Yacht!

"But first.. the most important meal of the day."

This comes after McGregor had a war of words with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul over social media following the historic fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

Following the fight, McGregor chose to lay into Paul's choice of eyewear of all things, writing on Twitter: "Who the f*** is this jackass in the pink Jimmy Savile glasses?"

Paul, less the impressed to be mentioned in the same sentence as a notorious paedophile, shot back: "I'm the one who has done more for fighters than you ever have; the one who has won five fights in the past two years while you have lost five.

"The one who isn’t owned by Dana White, the one who made the fight you just watched happen, the one who got your hero Katie Taylor paid, that’s who."

Rumours of an eventual Paul v McGregor fight continue to swirl, and all this online bickering will only build up anticipation.

Conor McGregor now has the superyacht to match his hypercars. Made in partnership between Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group , the Tecnomar 63 is both brands’ attempt at making a Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 for water.

Arriving in the same metallic-green color as the hybrid sports car, the Tecnomar 63 weighs 24 tons, is 63 feet in length, is constructed out of carbon fiber, and is powered by two MAN V12-2000HP engines. McGregor who’s a big fan of showy vehicles took to Instagram with the caption “My Lamborghini yacht is ready.” Known for also purchasing luxury goods in his lucky color green, like his Rolex watches , it’s almost a given that we’ll be seeing the Irish MMA star showing off this $3.4 million USD boat in action. He’ll most likely be spending some much-needed resting time in the water while his broken leg recovers .

It was the fight of the year, and between the two men in the ring, there was nearly $200 million at stake. The contest, of course, was this past August, between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. In the end, Mayweather was the better boxer, winning in the tenth round with a technical knockout. But McGregor still walked away with a little less than $100 million after the fight. And what was one of his first purchases? A yacht, which he recently sailed through the waters surrounding Ibiza. While the Irishman was there, however, he saw an even bigger boat—a $500 million superyacht called the Sailing Yacht A (S/Y A), and it's motivating him to make more money.

The superyacht, which is owned by the Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko, is among the largest private sailing yachts in the world, stretching 469 feet in length. The S/Y A was created by the French designer Philippe Starck. Completed in 2015, the vessel can travel 5,320 nautical miles (6,122 miles) on a single trip (it takes a minimum of 21,600 nautical miles to travel around the world).

The superyacht is idolized in the world of sailing. Everywhere it goes, heads turn, due in large part to the sheer size, the three sails, and the well-known owner. The S/Y A features additions that seem out of a James Bond film, which McGregor witnessed firsthand and documented on his Instagram account. UFC fighter Conor McGregor has treated himself to a new luxury yacht - comparable to a palace in the sea.

McGregor is not afraid to splash a few millions on a shiny seafarer.

Conor McGregor is probably one of the most famous UFC fighters in the world.

The popular Irishman took on boxer Floyd Mayweather in August, 2017 - but despite being defeated bagged a purse of around $100m.

McGregor has gone on to splash the cash on luxuries including supercars , houses and a yacht .

His yacht has been described as his home away from home.

Purchased in October 2020 and decked in gold, it is a luxurious limited edition Lamborghini Yacht .

It has been built by the Italian Sea Group HQ in Italy, and the exact model of it is Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 .

It is also where McGregor has been spending most of his time, after fracturing his tibia and fibula in July 2021.

The yacht can be described as the supercar of the sea.

Its small body, allows it to move fast, but still, keep the luxury of a traditional yacht.

The Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 is capable of reaching a top speed of 69mph.

But McGregor has additionally spent up to £364,230 on customisation.

This includes £571.10 Hermes Ashtrays, Versace slippers that he only wears on the yacht, diamond watches and top-of-the-range gym equipment.

McGregor is no stranger to splashing huge amounts of cash.

He often makes the news with his style choices and designer suits .

As McGregor is recovering now and set to return in 2023, he has free time to explore the world on his yacht.

He was last seen on his yacht in the summer of 2022, exploring the coast of South France.

McGregor has been enjoying his time with his partner Dee Devlin and children before training begins.

Road House Review

A fun remake buried in horrendous cinematography, cgi fights, and poor lighting..

Road House premieres on Prime Video Thursday, March 21. This review is based on a screening at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival.

Jake Gyllenhaal plays a Hulk in a Looney Tunes world in Road House, and that’s the main reason to watch this remake of the 1989 Patrick Swayze vehicle . Gyllenhaal makes the most of his role, and Doug Liman – who has long known how to harness the power of a leading man, be they Matt Damon or Tom Cruise – maximizes his star's skills to highlight the darkness lurking beneath the charming face and Mr. Rogers attitude of UFC-fighter-turned-bouncer Elwood Dalton.

The original Road House is an action romp with a simple premise: A kind but tough guy gets hired to clean up a roadhouse bar and ends up in a war against a corrupt businessman terrorizing a small town. It is simple, it is silly, it is fun, it is a movie where Swayze’s brawler-with-a-PhD-in-philosophy (really) rips someone’s throat out like he’s performing a Mortal Kombat fatality. To his credit, Liman doesn't try to just do the same thing again, nor does he strip Road House of everything that made it great. Instead, he translates the basic plot and the fun vibes, and adds a seriousness that's an awkward fit with the off-the-wall antics.

This time, our hero is a down-on-his-luck ex-mixed martial artist with a dark past and murderous intent who finds himself thrown into a situation where he has to defend a bar in Key West, Florida from a rich criminal, the corrupt cops on his payroll, and biker gangs. Liman trades the throat-ripping, the advanced degree, the surprise hot-young-Sam-Elliott role, and the bouncer’s "be nice" gospel for a violent, gritty, but always hilarious approach. The sheriff calls himself "Big Dick," a crocodile becomes an unlikely ally, a biker is the sweetest guy you can meet, and real-life UFC champ/ subject of a particularly long Wikipedia “controversies” section Conor McGregor enters the picture (and exits it, too) by walking down a busy street fully naked like it's a regular Tuesday afternoon.

Somehow, it works – kind of – and that’s mostly because of McGregor's outlandish villain and Gyllenhaal's play-it-straight approach. Dalton is brooding and angry and you best believe he can rip your throat out if he wanted to. And he only barely hides it, living in a world of cartoon characters causing chaos. The character has a serious face until it comes time to punch or slap, which is when he starts cracking jokes and delivering quips like he’s in a Marvel movie. On the other side of the superhero-movie coin, he’s Batman going down to the same level of zaniness as his rogues' gallery, and it functions thanks to Gyllenhaal's charisma alone.

Meanwhile, McGregor steals the show by playing someone so deranged he trades his Ferrari for a driving-school car because he feels like it, then stops the vehicle by ramming into a tree just for the hell of it. The supporting cast isn’t too far behind: Billy Magnussen plays a pathetic loser who thinks he's a Bond villain and Arturo Castro shines in the role of a surprisingly reasonable and nice gang member.

Screenwriters Anthony Bagarozzi and Chuck Mondry's most significant update is thematic, shifting the focus of the bouncer-versus-businessman dynamic to be more about class and race – with the cops taking on a bigger role. The problem is that it all falls flat. Their Road House script tries to expand on the many side characters of the original, but just as that starts to get interesting, they’re left behind in favor of the main story. There are some intriguing aspects to the portrayal of a rich white dude and his sheriff’s-department cronies terrorizing a mostly low-income and non-white community. Unfortunately, there's not much commentary to it. Road House never goes deep enough to be poignant – its priorities are the action and the silliness.

Unfortunately, it all looks ugly as sin. Liman doesn't aspire to John Wick -style operatics, but he does make choices – and most fail miserably. For one, the action tracking feels like it has motion smoothing on, with the moves looking synthetic and unnatural. There's a constant change in camera lens (recalling the whiplash-inducing aspect-ratio shifts of Transformers: The Last Knight ) plus what looks like several scenes shot with phones. Any good fight choreography is obscured by insufficient lighting, with awful color correction that changes from shot to shot. (Don't try to track the time of day in any given scene by looking at the sky.)

Worse yet, for a movie built around simple fist fights, much of the combat is computer generated, which should be a crime given how many movies, from big budget to small indies, can craft compelling and thrilling fights better than these. There are also allegations that production was completed with the use of AI during the 2023 actors’ strike . While it remains to be seen whether those allegations are true, what’s painfully obvious is how much of the dialogue is ADR – particularly McGregor's lines, which sound about as bad as the villain in Madame Web . Still, the performances and the goofier tone manage to overcome the visual and narrative issues, and if you're willing to vibe with it, Road House is a fun (but empty) ride.

Road House trades '80s earnest silliness with a Saturday-morning-cartoon tone that manages – barely – to overcome its flaws. The original’s bouncer-versus-businessman plot is refashioned and almost given some thematic weight, pitting a charismatic Jake Gyllenhaal against a feral Conor McGregor. (Not that you can really see them going to head to head amidst the murky cinematography and computer-generated fisticuffs.) This is the movie equivalent of a band performing at a seedy bar while drunks chuck bottles at the stage’s chicken-wire barrier. You can hear some cool music if you really try, but everything is working against it.

Conor McGregor has bizarrely hijacked Sydney Sweeney's social media post promoting her new film, Immaculate.

The horror film releases on March 22 and has received positive reviews so far, with Rotten Tomatoes giving the picture a 70 per cent rating.

Sweeney, who recently starred in the divisive Marvel film Madame Webb, has been promoting her latest work on Instagram.

She shared a picture of herself on the red carpet on Instagram and said: "IMMACULATE march 22nd."

But McGregor has hilariously decided to hijack the post by promoting his own film, Road House.

"@roadhousemovie March 21st," he commented, showing zero regard for Sweeney's movie in the process.

McGregor's hilarious response has amused fans on social media, with one user tagging the UFC icon and saying: "The promo on the promo is genius lol."

A second said: "Atta boy."

A third said: "@thenotoriousmma bro is promoting like a g."

A fourth stated: "What's my goat doing here."

And a fifth reacted to McGregor's comment by saying" Smoked."

McGregor has made his name in sport but has recently made his acting debut in Road House, which is a remake of the 1989 Patrick Swayze film of the same name.

And the 35-year-old may receive a Guinness World Record for appearing in the title.

McGregor claims he is the highest-paid first-time actor of all time, dwarfing Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in the process.

He recently said on X: "What did you think of my acting debut movie trailer? Hell of a ride!

"I am now officially the highest-paid first-time actor of all time, on record, pipping Dwayne Johnson for the top spot. Incredible!"

McGregor has since deleted the post.

Johnson, who made his name in wrestling, was paid a huge £4.3million for appearing in 2001's The Mummy Returns.

That feat saw The Rock receive a Guinness World Record as a result.

But if McGregor's comments are accurate, he could be set to take the accolade for himself.

The UFC icon was recently asked about his acting career in an interview with Good Morning Britain.

He said: "That’s the fact, the highest paid first time actor of all time so it’s a nice feather in the cap.

"There’s not an action star in Hollywood that could take me on and that’s a fact, so let’s see how it goes."

And Gyllenhaal has joked they had to remind McGregor that the film needed fake fighting, instead of the real thing.

"It was a bit scary at times," he told LadBible.

"I mean, that first time where we go face to face, I was definitely intimidated, but then I thought to myself, the game level that he works at, with the skill that he has, it’s really, ultimately, a mind game, right?

"And they’re all playing it with each other all the time, and what I had, though I didn’t have the skills, what I did have was the experience in my field, so when we met in that moment, I tried to bring my history and my experience from my different field to him in that moment - and I think that’s what you see in that first shot."

He added: "He was guiding me through the grappling and he was giving me instruction in how to choke him out and do all these things, but ultimately… and I had to say to him a couple of times, like, remind him, ‘Remember, we’re in a fake fight, don’t actually punch me’ and he was like, ‘Oh yeah, right, right, right’

"And in those moments, where he’s, 'Right, right right’, you go, ‘Jesus, oh s**t’, but it was good fun."

Islam Makhachev Dragged Into Title Fight Against His Wishes as “Unsolicited Advice” on Conor McGregor Fight Leaves Michael Chandler Fuming

Islam Makhachev thinks that Michael Chandler is making a mistake waiting for Conor McGregor to fight him. The duo was expected to fight late last year following their stint as rival head coaches on last year’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter’.

However, their bout was postponed to this year and has constantly been pushed back since with serious questions around when (and even if) the Irishman will be back. UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev had suggested in a recent interview with ‘MMA Mania’ that Chandler should fight someone else in the meantime, and even if he loses, it would not hurt his chances of fighting McGregor in the future, and in fact, may increase its chances given that the Irishman would look at him as being more beatable.

And Chandler took to Twitter and thanked Makhachev for the advice, and assured the Dagestani that he does in fact sleep well at night despite the uncertainty around his fight with McGregor. ‘Iron’ also claimed that it was all part of a plan and hinted that he might be looking to fight Makhachev soon.  “Thanks for the unsolicited advice @MAKHACHEVMMA – I sleep just fine at night…I have a plan and you’re part of it, champ,”  he tweeted.

Ambiguity around Conor McGregor’s comeback persists

Conor McGregor last fought in March 2021. The Irishman broke his leg in his UFC 264 clash against Dustin Poirier that has kept him out of the octagon for nearly three years now. Despite this long break and the clock on the 35-year-old’s career ticking down, there is no clarity around when UFC’s biggest star will make his comeback and fight Chandler.

UFC boss Dana White said in an interview with Pat McAfee in February that the fans will not see McGregor in the octagon until the last quarter of 2024. This despite McGregor having floated a UFC 300 and 303 booking against ‘Iron’, both of which have been refused by White.

Speculations are rife as to the reasons behind this delay, with theories ranging from the UFC not paying McGregor what he wants, the promotion insisting the Irishman sign another contract extension, to even conjecture that McGregor may be mulling retiring from the sport and try his hand at acting or politics.
