Dionea’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

This impressive yacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

MYBA Terms: The Charter Fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, tools, stores, cleaning material and basic consumable stores for engine-room, deck and cabins, etc., the crew’s wages, food and the insurance of the yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer’s liability insurance. The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses. These include fuel for the yacht, fuel for the ski-boats or other tenders, food for the charterers, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks for the Charterers, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht’s own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and/or electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via Satcom, Radio Telephone or telex costs, hire costs of special equipment placed on board at the request of the Charterer and crew gratuities. Prices exclude VAT (if applicable). VAT calculation depends on the embarkation port' country and on the cruising area. Charters shorter than a week are also available, depending on the date.

A General Description of Motor Yacht DIONEA

Cantieri Navali Felszegi finished building motor yacht DIONEA in 1962. Accordingly, she was built within Italy. DIONEA is a yacht which had yacht design work developed by Cantieri Navali Felszegi and Ivana Porfiri and Cantieri Navali Felszegi. This superyacht DIONEA is able to accommodate a capacity of 12 aboard together with around 10 professional crew. Launched for 1962 her reasonably classic interior design illustrates the former maritime feel of Studio Cerri.

Motor yacht DIONEA was originally built in 1962 and for many years was used as a passenger ferry in the Adriatic. In 2002, DIONEA was completely refurbished.

The Shipyard Work & Naval Architecture relating to Luxury Yacht DIONEA

Cantieri Navali Felszegi was the naval architect involved in the professional vessel plans for DIONEA. Also the company Cantieri Navali Felszegi and Ivana Porfiri skillfully worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Studio Cerri was selected for the creative interior styling. In 1962 she was actually launched with triumph in Trieste and post sea trials and finishing touches was then delivered to the new owner. Cantieri Navali Felszegi completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. The main hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made extensively from steel. With a width of 7.4 metres or 24.3 ft DIONEA has moderate internal space. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.3m (7.5ft) limits the number of ports she can enter into, depending on their minimum characteristics. She had refit improvement and changes undertaken by 2002.

Engineering And The Crusie Speed That M/Y DIONEA Can Reach:

The M3412C M60 engine installed in the motor yacht is produced by CATERPILLAR. DIONEA is propelled by twin screw propellers. The main engine of the yacht generates 720 horse power (or 530 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The total thrust for the boat is accordingly 1440 HP or 1060 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she uses Naiad / Koopnautic X4. The bow thrusters are Koopnautic.

The 169.11-foot (51.8m) DIONEA, is a classic superyacht hailing from 1962. Built by the Cantiere Navale Felszegi shipyard in Muggia, Italy, she is a true grand dame of the seas. She remains close to home, offering charters in the West Mediterranean. Accommodating up to 12 guests, she is the ideal yacht for families, groups of friends or corporate charters. She is also available for event charters.

DIONEA began her days as a high-class ferry and was later transformed into a luxury superyacht by the Mariotti yard (also Italian) in 2003. Her charming interior is designed by Ivana Porfiri.

In 2017, the yacht underwent another refresh with a winter refit. Teak decks were revived, a new air-conditioning system was installed, engines, generators and stabilizers were serviced and the tenders, hull and superstructure were treated to a paint job, among other updates. DIONEA cruises comfortably at a speed of 12 knots.

A LIFE OF CHARM ON BOARD

Guests can expect a very unique experience aboard DIONEA. She offers a wonderful opportunity to step back in time thanks to her traditional design, yet she naturally offers the modern luxuries that charter cruisers expect. This extends from leisure and entertainment facilities to professional and friendly crew service.

A varied array of water toys includes water skis, inflatables (including kayaks), a wakeboard and Sea-Doo WaveRunners. There is also training and yoga equipment. Inside, guests can enjoy a massage, dine in the formal dining salon complete with skylight, or relax in the forward salon. Out on deck, there’s a variety of alfresco dining options.

WELCOMING ACCOMMODATION

DIONEA accommodates her 12 guests in a pleasing variety of cabins. The en-suite master stateroom takes pride of place on the wheel-deck. The VIP is found on the cabin deck forward and features a double bed, an en-suite shower room and a convertible settee. Also on the cabin deck are two double rooms and two twin rooms.

Short description.

DIONEA charter motor yacht was launched in 1962 by Felszegi shipyard of Muggia as a high standard ferry-boat and operated until 1991. In 2003, the current Owner converted her into a luxury motor yacht at the T. Mariotti Shipyard in Genoa. The changes made were carried out with as much originality as possible but respecting her existing lines. The refit project combined the vessel’s classic charm with the luxury expected on a modern charter yacht. Every detail enhances the feeling of being aboard a small ship. Her interior, designed by Ivana Porfiri, displays an elegant minimalism with very simple modern furniture and fabrics. DIONEA can sleep 12 guests and is run by a crew of 9 headed by an Italian Captain.

Based in Italian Riviera

DIONEA charter motor yacht features huge interior living spaces: a comfortable and bright salon on maindeck with sofas, plasma TV, video and audio system and bar adjacent but separated from the dining room (the former engine room) and separated galley. The double bedded Master suite is on upperdeck; ensuite bathroom with wide shower room. All other suites are on lower deck: VIP stateroom with double bed and double bath/shower room ensuite; 2 double bedded suites with ensuite bathroom/shower each; 2 guests twin staterooms with bath/shower room ensuite. All cabins offer flat screet TV and audio/video facilities.

Dionea charter motor yacht offers three spacious decks with wide sunbathing areas and large toys storage spaces forward. The astern maindeck zone is the perfect place for cocktails, whilst the forward maindeck is completely dedicated to the toys storage. The upperdeck features a dining table for 12 (or more) and space for sunbathing on the comfortable chaises longues; from this deck the Owner can have access to the Master suite (access permitted also by internal stairs). The third deck is a sunbathing area with matresses and cushions.

DIONEA charter motor yacht is completely equipped with all comforts and a huge number of water toys. Air conditioning throughout, stabilizers at anchor, watermaker. Tenders and Toys: One tender Castoldi Jet (Jet tender 16 for up to 7 guests), two dinghies C.N. di Cogoleto for up to 16 guests each, banana, two 800 hp Seadoo Bombardier waverunners, windsurf, kajak, donuts, waterskies, wakeboard, snorkeling equipment.

Multilingual and professional crew of 9 members run by Captain Claudio Intrigliolo, Italian.

Rates and Conditions

Dionea charter motor yacht weekly rates (6.60% VAT applicable in Italy) Myba, WMT: July/August and events € 85,000.00; other months € 80,000.00. Rates include: hire, crew in the number indicated, yacht insurance, yacht’s linen laundry. Rates do not include: food and beverages for guests, fuel consumption (for the yacht, the watercrafts and the dinghies, bething fees, personal communications costs (internet, fax, if on board), guests’ personal laundry, 6.30% VAT if applicable. Fuel consumption 300 lt/h, duty free.

10 below deck charter guests who will never return to the franchise.

While the charter guests who appear on Below Deck have a great time while filming the show, many aren't invited back for a number of reasons.

• Some charter guests on Below Deck have caused unnecessary drama and won't likely return due to bad behavior.
• Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht faced backlash from Barrie, who called him two-faced.
• Former guest Dr. Francis Martinis will not return to Below Deck after he was arrested for faking prescriptions.

The Below Deck franchise has featured many charter guests since 2013, many of whom will never return . The Bravo series focuses on expensive charters with wealthy guests who have attitude problems and over-the-top demands. That includes Charter guest Alexis Bellino, who boarded Captain Lee Rosbach’s yacht with her boyfriend at the time, Andy Bohn. She was disrespectful and made everyone uncomfortable with her and Andy's PDA. She even insulted crew members after featuring on the show.

Like Alexis, Delores Flora from Below Deck season 8 was a terrible guest. Not only did she misbehave, but she also got drunk and s wam while intoxicated, which is not only not allowed, it frightened the crew members. Delores got kicked out of the yacht the next day. These guests created unnecessary drama on the boat and will likely never return like a few others from the franchise.

Barrie and Tony Drewitt Barlow had a decent time in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht seasons 2 and 3. Despite that, they left with a bitter taste because of Captain Glenn Shephard. In 2021, Barrie participated in a podcast, Pita Party: The Podcast , where he claimed that Captain Glenn bothered him while using his phone .

Barrie said, “he (Captain Glenn) was a two-face b*stard,” adding that he just didn’t like his presence.

7 Frank Fay

Below deck mediterranean.

In Below Deck Mediterranean season 7, Charter guest Frank Fay had a thing for second stew Kyle Viljoen. He pursued him on the yacht, but unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last. Frank will likely never return to the series as long as Captain Sandy Yawn allows Kyle to work for her. Even if Kyle quits, Frank wouldn’t want to be in an environment that would remind him of his failed relationship.

6 Erica Rose

Erica Rose appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht two seasons in a row. Erica was highly offensive toward the crew member, as well as her husband, Charles Sanders, and to make things worse, she left the crew with a measly tip , leading fans to slam her on social media. Ultimately, Erica had to apologize for her bad attitude but never returned to give the crew the tip they deserved. Nobody on Below Deck Sailing Yacht would ever want to return.

5 Justin Guarini

Justin Guarini’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was not dramatic at all; however, he’ll probably never return to the series. Justin wouldn’t return because he wasn't the primary guest. He joined his friend, Kim, who wanted to enjoy a luxury yacht trip. It was more of a one-and-done deal. Secondly, nobody recognized him at all. Viewers later realized who he was and how he was the runner-up on American Idol season 1. Justin is a theatre artist and has made a name for himself. However, it was embarrassing that so many fans had no clue who he was .

Johnny Damon’s time at Below Deck Med was full of explosive moments. Once, he sent the food back, citing that the experience wasn’t “five stars.” On another occasion, his wife, Michelle, created drama by yelling at the owner of another yacht . Overall, the experience was simply terrible on both sides. Crew members didn’t love Johnny and his wife, and the couple didn’t respect the crew members. It is unlikely that Captain Sandy would want to host the couple again as long as she’s in charge.

3 Krystal Murphy

Former charter guest Krystal Murphy boarded Captain Lee’s yacht with her friends. She immediately began showing red flags, drinking, and just being a menace. Krystal fought with her friend, Chelsea, creating unnecessary drama. She even passed out and punched a friend in the face. Former Chief Stew Kate Chastain disliked serving Krystal and called her a “spoiled brat;” she wanted to throw her off the yacht. Nowadays, Krystal has seemingly become a more private person. It doesn’t seem like Krystal would want to be on TV again.

2 Steve Bradley

Below Deck fans should remember Steve Bradley as he made many appearances on the show. In Below Deck season 3, he wanted a foam party and demanded the crew to figure it out and follow his commands, acting like a king. In Below Deck season 6, Steve made more outrageous requests. Apart from being a wild guest, Steve was entitled and acted inappropriately at times . No Below Deck captain would want to host him again as he didn't come off as very likable.

1 Dr. Francis Martinis

Dr. Francis Martinis from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht has a zero chance of returning. While the former charter guest didn’t have too many issues on the show, his personal life issues will stop him from appearing on Bravo again. According to TMZ , Dr. Francis and his wife, Jessica, were arrested for filling out fake prescriptions in December 2023 . The couple used the names of Below Deck stars and got caught red-handed. The Below Deck franchise would never want to welcome felons, especially when their mugshots are all over the internet.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
