The pre-owned Azimut market has many choices ranging in size from 42 feet up to over 100 feet. A recent search of the yachting MLS turned up these popular models that can often be found priced below the $500,000 mark.

Azimut 55 Evolution [2002-11]

Overview:  The Azimut 55 Evolution (called the 55 Flybridge in 2001–04) displays a styling scheme very different from earlier Azimut motoryachts. Gone are the tiered cabin windows of previous years, replaced in the 55 by a pair of distinctive fin-shaped salon windows. Also new were vertical glass panels in the hullsides, a design innovation that introduced natural lighting into the master stateroom. Stepping inside from the covered aft deck, the open-plan salon of the Azimut 55 features a C-shaped leather sofa to port and entertainment center to starboard. The galley and dining area are forward, two steps up from the salon. Below, there are three staterooms and two full heads including a full-beam amidships master, VIP queen forward, and guest cabin with side-by-side berths. Lacquered cherry wood cabinets and trim are used throughout the interior. Note the power side windows at the lower helm. Crew quarters with a single berth and toilet are aft, accessed from a hatch in the aft deck sole. The spacious flybridge has a large sun pad to starboard, opposite the helm, while a refreshment/entertainment center holds a barbecue grill, ice maker and sink. Cat 715hp C12 V-drive diesels cruise at 25–26 knots (30+ top).

Azimut 50 Flybridge [2003-10]

Overview:  A popular model in the U.S., the Azimut 50 Flybridge—not to be confused with the newer Azimut 50 Flybridge introduced in 2015—is a richly appointed cruising yacht whose distinctive shark-fin windows set her apart from other yachts in this class. Offered with two or three stateroom interiors, a triple-panel sliding glass door provides entry to Azimut 50’s expansive salon. The U-shaped settee immediately to starboard converts to a double berth at the push of a button, and the cherry wood table can be raised or lowered by remote control. A facing settee is to port and the lower helm is forward, two steps up from the salon level. Opposite the helm and a few steps down is the Azimut 50’s beautifully appointed galley. The galley size depends on the layout—it’s spacious in the two-stateroom configuration (shown at left), but small when the third stateroom is added. The entire interior of the Azimut 50 is done in high-gloss cherry woodwork and trim. A washer/dryer combo is located in the crew quarters aft. A staircase to port in the covered cockpit leads to the flybridge with electric grill, wet bar, and lounge seating aft. Cat 715hp C12 diesels cruise at 26–28 knots (30+ top).

Azimut 47 Flybridge [2007-11]

Overview:   Like other Azimut models from the design board of Stefano Righini, the 47 Fly combines style and grace in a motoryacht of timeless elegance. Introduced in 2007, the 47 features a three stateroom, two head layout plus optional crew quarters aft. The owner’s suite is forward with a full-size double bed, two hanging lockers, and private ensuite head. Aft from the central lobby with its nicely integrated portside galley are two doors, each leading into nearly identical twin-berth guest cabins with standing headroom at the entryways. The starboard cabin is the VIP with berths that convert to a double and access to the second head. Both heads have circular shower stalls. A portside dinette is opposite the lower helm and the U-shaped lounge aft of the helm lowers to form an extra berth. In the cockpit, a sun lounge runs along the transom and a hatch provides access to the engine compartment. Additional features include a foredeck sun pad, teak cockpit and flybridge steps, bow thruster, and flybridge grille. Powered by dependable Caterpillar 575hp C9 V-drive diesels, the 47 Fly will cruise at 25 knots (29–30 knots top).

Azimut 43 Flybridge [2007-12]

Overview:   Sleek, luxurious, and powerful the Azimut 43 combines the signature features of Azimut’s larger flybridge yachts in a smaller, more personal package. The 43 is a relatively small motoryacht by European standards but there’s nothing small about the impression she makes to anyone who steps aboard. With her luxury-class accommodations and spacious flybridge, the 43 is an impressive yacht with as much eye appeal than anything in her class. The layout includes a comfortable owner’s stateroom with centerline queen berth, guest cabin with two single berths and a convertible sleeper in the main salon. Both heads contain circular stall showers. Large windows bathe the entire salon in sunlight. Headroom at the lower helm position is tight, but most 43s sold into the American market will likely be operated from the flybridge so that’s probably not a serious issue. Note the opening port over the galley counter. The flybridge is huge for a boat this size. An extended teak bathing platform, cockpit table with chairs, bow thruster, and a foredeck sun pad are all standard. On the downside, the engine room is a tight fit. Cummins 480hp diesels cruise at 24–26 knots (about 30 knots top).

Azimut Magellano 43 [2013-Current]

Overview: The Magellano is an efficient semi-displacement coastal cruiser whose distinctive styling (note the plumb bow) offers something very different in Italian motoryacht styling. Available in both flybridge and hardtop models, the yacht is fitted with first-class materials and an extensive list of standard and optional equipment designed to make living as comfortable as possible. The Magellano’s innovative layout includes three roomy cabins — a forward master with en suite head, a portside double and a starboard stowage space that can be configured as a single. A second day head is on the starboard side. A large aft swim platform makes boarding easy, and a transom cut-out provides access to the cockpit with its L-shaped lounge seating and folding table. Wide side decks are protected by sturdy railings with gates for side boarding. The 43’s flybridge helm station provides an ideal overlook. Next to it, there is a large reversible C-shaped sofa offering guests total relaxation. According to Azimut, the 43’s hull has proven as efficient at trawler speeds of 7 knots as it is at 18 knots. No lightweight, Cummins QSB 5.9 350hp V-drive diesels cruise at 15–16 knots (low 20s top).

The best small cruising yachts in 2023

Despite bigger yachts dominating the new boat scene in recent decades, there are still any number of builders making new smaller cruisers. Here's our pick of the best small cruising yachts in 2023

We have seen a surprisingly large number of builders going against the grain to bring small cruising yachts to market in the last year or so, ranging from trailer0-sailers to smaller traditionally-styled options. Here, we’ve rounded up 4 of the best small cruising yachts launched in the last year.

Typically this size of yacht appeals to those who are looking for a day sailer or weekender and will often offer reduced draught in able to allow you to go creek crawling or nose your way into otherwise hard to get to anchorages.

The best small cruising yachts 2023

Once you’ve seen one, Bente yachts are unmistakable. We revisited the brand’s first boat, the Bente 24 , a couple of issues ago, which has been around for 10 years or so. The brand then launched the striking Bente 39 which was immensely innovative, but the company ran into financial difficulties. Now under new owners and a more stable footing, a third model has been launched, which I can’t wait to test sail. The Bente 28 is unlike any other 28-footer.

The hull is cutting edge with wide transom, double rudders and full bows providing a powerful hull form as well as volume below. Construction is polyester GRP foam sandwich, with the basic version being heavier hand lamination, and the more expensive Edition version being vacuum infused. While this is a boat designed to be fast, it’s a long way from a wild racing boat.

Displacement is a not outlandish 3.2 tonnes and draught is 1.6m (there’s an option for a 1.95m performance T-keel with lead bulb that’s 100kg lighter), so it fits well within the scope of a sensible cruising boat.

The Tide 25, built by MFH in north Germany – began its life as a Dehler SQ25, but the mould was sold off when that company hit hard times. Plumb bows and stern with a long hull chine, bevelled deck edge and twin rudders put her on trend, and maximise performance under sail and accommodation on board.

On deck, she has a large cockpit with benches forward and four decent lockers. Under the cockpit sole there’s access to what would be engine space for a diesel inboard, now housing batteries for the electric motors.

Opt for the sport version, and you’ll get beefed up deck hardware and a minimalist fit out, with the mainsheet traveller across the transom, while the comfort version has a smaller main with the mainsheet coming to a fixed point on the cockpit sole forward of the helm. The rig has aft-swept spreaders and no backstay.

The fact that the accommodation of the Pointer 30 is designed around a Nespresso machine, enshrined in glory, tells you a lot about this boat. It was conceived as a comfortable, fast and stylish weekend cruiser that you can take your friends down to for a coffee before a nice sail to somewhere for lunch. This is a boat that knows what it is about. Tea drinkers, don’t worry; there’s still a gas hob to boil a kettle.

The sail area isn’t vast, but this looks to be an easily driven hull. A below-deck furler setting a genoa that sheets to tracks on the coachroof is standard, with a self-tacker being optional.

The fixed bowsprit houses a bow roller, and a tack point for furling offwind sails – the gennaker takes her offwind sail area up to 100m2, set from an aluminium twin-spreader rig with adjustable backstay. She has a powerful kicker, but no traveller for the main, which is sheeted to a raised plinth in the cockpit sole.

Below deck the layout is simple, clean and quietly stylish. Headroom is restricted, dictated by the low freeboard and elegant lines.

To port, the heart of the boat is the ‘coffee bar’ on a shelf in the moulded hull liner, next to a small dinette-style table with two leather swivel armchairs. The forward of these chairs spins round to face a neat lift-top desk (though the drawer below isn’t large enough for a chart).

Swallow Yachts 32

Aimed at sailors who may have owned larger yachts before but want to downsize, Swallow Yachts owner Matt Newland explained that he ‘wanted to build a boat that was fun and easy to sail, simple to maintain and had timeless looks with as low an environmental impact as possible.’

Though not a true launch-and-sail trailer sailer, a four-by-four will still be able to tow the 32 on her own trailer, as boat and trailer come in at under 3.5 tonnes, and within the 2.9m overhang limit.

With a keel-down draught of 2.8m, a fine entry at the bow and broad aft sections, this boat promises to be a good performer. You can sail with the lifting keel in any position for shoal waters, but lift it all the way and you’ve got a draught of just 40cm for creek crawling and drying out.

Newland has tried to draw lines that are timeless rather than trendy while a retractable bowsprit, backstayless carbon rig and square-top mainsail ensure she is right up there in terms of her contemporary design and latest tech.

A new Italian shipyard, Filoyacht, is getting ready to unveil what it’s all about. In July, it launched a stylish 22.6 metre, which it will display at the Cannes and Genoa shows this autumn. For many yacht owners, the solution to finding more space aboard for friends and family is summed up by that immortal line by Chief Brody in Jaws : “You’re gonna need a bigger boat.”

Until now, bigger has typically meant longer. But that’s quickly changing as more and more builders are creating interior volume by going wider and taller. For disrupter builder Wally Yachts and its polarizing new Wallywhy 150—which refers to its internal volume rather than the boat’s length—the quirky design is said to deliver 50 percent more space than more traditional 78-footers.

Other builders like Princess have been in the game since 2021. Its X95 first appeared several years ago, effectively throwing down the gauntlet as a way forward for sub-100-foot yachts to supersize both interior and exterior volumes.

Since then, many other builders of small superyachts have jumped on board, with designs that typically have somewhat bloated profiles, far-forward main suites, and open transoms—features all designed to maximize space but minimize length.

Here are 10 new yachts 100 feet and under that are breaking the mold in an attempt to dominate the nautical space race.

It’s no wonder that disrupter Italian builder Wally—now part of the Ferretti Group—calls its latest head-turner a “spaceship.” Claiming up to 50 percent more space than comparable 78-footers, the 150 (named after interior volume rather than length) has standout features like a main salon with over eight feet of headroom, and a beam of more than 22 feet. The pragmatic design includes a one-level main deck attached to an open rear cockpit that offers easy access to the water. Its most noteworthy feature is the rule-breaking, full-beam master suite tucked into the bow on the main deck. It has wraparound glass—stretching all the way around the bow—for panorama-like views from the main bedroom. Priced from about $6.7 million.

Lazzara UHV 87

Short for Ultra High Volume, this new Turkish-built pocket superyacht is a sistership to Lazzara’s UHV 100 and 125 models. The newest Lazzara boasts an impressive 2,153 square feet of interior space in its 87-foot length. Arguably, the boat is not pretty in a classic sense. The towering hull sides, blunt, plumb bow, and dark-tinted glass make it look more like a dinner cruiser than a mini-superyacht. But the interior space is astonishing, from the cavernous Sky Lounge, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, to the salon with a separate, chandelier-lit dining area and chef’s galley. With a fuel capacity of 3,000 gals, the twin 1,000 hp Volvo D13s deliver a top speed of 16 knots. The boat also has transatlantic range. Base price starts at about $10.9 million.

Sunseeker 100 Yacht

Movie nights under the stars should have a whole new appeal aboard UK builder Sunseeker’s brand-new 98-footer. Lie back on the yacht’s extra-wide foredeck sunpad and watch the latest blockbuster on a 140-inch screen with laser projection. Or, if you’re the lucky owner, stargaze from your private terrace tucked away in the bow, just steps from the full-beam main-deck master suite, with atrium-style glass sliding doors. One of the best innovations here is the wide, uninterrupted walkway around the entire top deck, which provides safe, easy access from the flybridge to the forward entertaining space. With its twin 2,600 hp V16 MTU diesels, top speed is an impressive 29 knots. Priced from about $10.5 million.

Azimut Grande 26M

For its brand-new Grande 26M compact superyacht, Italian builder Azimut has gone extra wide to create massive interior and exterior spaces. Spatial highlights include a full-width flybridge that’s almost 20 feet across and close to 40 feet long, and a foredeck entertaining area that seems more like an outdoor patio. The Alberto Mancini-styled go-fast cruiser is crammed with space-enhancing innovations, such as a teak-decked garage door that, at the touch of a button, hinges upwards to extend the rear cockpit by almost five feet. New ZF pod drives coupled to the yacht’s twin 1,650 hp MAN V12 diesels also save space. It is priced from about $6.2 million.

Princess X95

As we said during our 2021 tour of Britain’s Princess Yachts’ tri-deck X95 “When it comes to the polarizing, head-spinning design, there are no half-measures, no in-betweens. You either love it. Or loathe it.” But what those eye-popping lines hide is perhaps the most spacious 95-foot luxury cruiser in the category. Reckoned to be some 40 percent roomier than cruisers with the same length, the X95 has stretch-out accommodations for up to 10 in five cabins and living spaces that rival most apartments. The flybridge covers almost the entire length of the yacht. The 100 is also fast, with twin 1,990 hp MAN V12s delivering a top speed of 23 knots. Prices start at about $12 million.

Extra X96 Triplex

This broad-beamed 96-footer is from the Italian builder Extra Yachts, which is part of the Palumbo Superyachts Group. While it’s called the Triplex, there are actually four levels if you include the cozy upper sundeck with its outdoor kitchen, dining area, and oversized sunpads. The exterior comes courtesy of Italian designer Francesco Guida, while interiors are by Milan-based Hot Labs. Both teams have made the most of the yacht’s class-leading 25-foot beam. Notable features include a vast full-beam master on the main level and an upper salon dedicated entirely to dining, with a table for 10, an open chef’s galley, and an adjoining outdoor bar. Twin Volvo IPS1350s deliver a 16.5-knot top speed. Priced from $12 million.

Sunreef 100

This Sunreef power catamaran’s beam spans a staggering 44 feet, offering the kind of interior and exterior spaces you only get with superyachts twice the length. Every element of the yacht is XXL-size—from the massive hydraulic swim platform to the full-width flybridge that covers almost 1,000 square feet. Down in the salon is a huge 11-seat U-shaped bar that would delight any mixologist. The five staterooms in the twin hulls have space for 10. A pair of 1,300 hp MAN V8 diesels delivers a six-knot top speed. It is priced from about $15.3 million.

Absolute Navetta 75

In Italian, the word “navetta” translates to “little ship.” Which is a perfect description for Absolute’s new 75-foot fast cruiser. It’s an evolution of the strong-selling Navetta 73 but with nearly two feet of extra length. The yacht’s expansive interior volumes will remain the same, with features like a forward master stateroom on its own level that has a private entrance steps away from the main salon. The salon features floor-to-ceiling glass, with full views of the water, courtesy of open bulwarks. Twin 1,000 hp Volvo IPS1350 diesels deliver a top speed of 25 knots. Pricing starts at about $4 million.

Arcadia A96

Cross a spacious Miami high-rise penthouse with a Canyon Ranch spa and the result could be this new 96-foot superyacht from Italian builder Arcadia. Boasting a remarkable 4,300 square feet of total living space, there’s room for 12 guests and five crew. And the living spaces even expand, courtesy of fold-down terraces in the main salon and on the rear deck. But the yacht’s focus on wellness and healthy living sets it apart. That expansive, teak-decked foredeck, spanning over 500 square feet, is perfect for yoga sessions or meditation, while the cockpit and beach club offer another 1,000 square feet of social space. For extra peace and quiet at anchor, solar panels can provide up to nine hours of generator-free power.

Numarine 26XP Fast

Think of it as offering pace, with space. Turkish yard Numarine has been building its bold 85-foot 26XP explorer style mini-superyacht since 2018, but later this year, it will launch the U.S.-focused 26XP Fast. Instead of slow-churning 435 hp diesels and nine-knot cruising, it’s bolting-in a pair of mighty 1,800 hp MAN V12s and modifying the hull to deliver a top speed of 31 knots. What hasn’t changed is the XP’s cavernous interior and expensive deck space. Take the top-deck flybridge which, thanks to the yacht’s 21-foot beam and far-forward helm, spans over 700 square feet. Best boats under £500k: 4 of the best dream boats to buy with half a million

Our resident used boat expert Nick Burnham picks out four of the best boats under £500k available on the secondhand market.

Half a million pounds is a lot of money, no matter who you are. Put it this way, if you dropped it in the street, you’d stop and pick it up.

And so inevitably, it accesses a lot of variety on the used boat market, although due to incredible demand for boats currently, perhaps not as much choice as you’d think. At the time of writing there were about ten boats for sale in the whole of the UK close to this price point.

Nonetheless, I was able to find you a high performance sportsboat in the shape of a Windy 37 , a year-round walk-around ultra practical Botnia Targa, a fantastic family sportscruiser – the Princess V40 , and even a mini superyacht in the shape of a Horizon 20M. Enjoy!

Princess V40

Built: 2019 Price: £465,000

An evolution of the Princess V39 that launched almost exactly a decade ago in January 2012, the V40 takes that boat’s winning formula and brings it bang up to date.

The most obvious change is the stylish hull glazing replacing the portholes for a more modern look but without losing any of the core values that made the original such a success.

One of the best things about the Princess V40 (and its V39 forebear) is that, despite being the least expensive boat in the Princess Yachts line-up, there’s no sense of compromise in the finish.

You’ll find the same quality of woodwork (satin finished walnut in this boat although lighter oak was also offered, both with a high gloss alternative), the same fittings in items like light switches and door handles, and therefore the same sense of quality.

What you lose, of course, is space, but this is still a 40ft boat, so there are two decent cabins, a single but generous heads and a comfy dinette opposite an L-shaped galley.

One of the great things about the Princess V40 is the sense that both interior and exterior living spaces get equal billing. So despite a pretty generous cabin, you’re far from short changed in the cockpit.

A standard fit open-backed hard top features a fabric sliding roof, and a canopy encloses this area completely.

One interesting option on this boat is the sunpad at the aft end of the cockpit because, instead of encroaching on seating space, it extends out across the top of the tender, a sliding backrest allowing you to choose between more sunbathing or more seating.

Princess only offered one engine option on this model, twin Volvo Penta D6s, although the power rating has recently been upgraded from the 330hp engines of this boat to the latest spec 340hp engines on all future boats.

Impressively, the top speed is north of 35 knots, allowing for an easy mid 20-knot cruise.

Only two separate cabins but both offer plenty of space, natural light and privacy

The V39/V40 hull was designed with a more variable deadrise than normal, its deep vee forward segueing into flatter aft sections for a lower planing threshold and better economy.

The result is a slightly firmer upwind ride but it’s still a very capable hull.

Half a million pounds is an awful lot of money but if you don’t mind dropping back a few years, it will buy you an awful lot of boat!

The Horizon 20M is probably as close to proper motor yachting as you can get; indeed many of the features – waist deep bulwarks, watertight doors, 40mm diameter handrails and side deck overhangs feel decidedly superyacht.

And that’s no coincidence. Take a look at the Taiwanese builder’s current range and you’ll discover that it stretches from 70 to 150ft!

The inside of the Horizon 20M is vast. Featuring three ensuite double cabins on the lower deck, plus a large ensuite crew cabin that would easily double as cabin four, the sense is of a complete lack of compromise.

It’s a similar story on the main deck where the galley is forward, opposite a dinette and close to the helm, leaving a huge saloon area. As with all Horizons, the woodwork is exemplary.

The style may be a little dated but you can’t argue with the lavish finish and space it offers

From the stainless steel rails around the bathing platform to those wide and deeply bulwarked side decks, every area of the exterior of this vessel feels safe, accessible and seaworthy.

The bathing platform will take a RIB as a tender, the flybridge crane providing lifting and launching duties. The flybridge is every bit as palatial as you’d imagine and features an interesting helm station – there’s a GRP clamshell section that rotates to protect all of the instrumentation.

Sat in a full height walk-in engineroom, Caterpillar C18 engines are another nod to the serious business of motor yachting – these engines are very popular on the large boat scene. But even with 1,000hp a side, performance is stately rather than spritely.

Flat out the Horizon 20M will just about reach 25 knots, with a natural cruising gait of up to 20 knots. Drop the speed to 8 knots and you will triple the range of its 3,800 litre tanks from about 230 miles to 750 miles.

All the cabins are ensuite and the quality of woodwork throughout is exemplary

Nearly 40 tonnes of displacement, when fully loaded with fuel and water, should go a long way to flattening out most seas, and thanks to good visibility from both helms the skipper should be comfortable too.

Botnia Targa 35

Built: 2018 Price: £485,000

The Targa 35 joined Botnia’s production of fast practical seaworthy commuters in 1998 and has sat resolutely in the middle of a range that spans from the smallest 23-footer to the 46ft flagship ever since, with Botnia gently and pragmatically evolving the model without ever losing what has always made this a great boat.

This is emphatically not a floating holiday home. If your priority is acres of internal volume then look away now. What you do get, however, is sturdy to the point of bulletproof and shot through with practical features, like a dinette table that slides up and down a pole so it can be adjusted to any height or raised up to the ceiling when not needed.

Head aft from the wheelhouse and you’ll drop down to a lower deck with a double berth situated on one side, single on the other, as well as the heads.

There’s a further cabin on the lower deck forward, usefully augmented by the CFC (comfort fore cabin) option that not only significantly increases headroom but also frees up space for a further ensuite heads.

Outside is where the Botnia Targa 35 is at its most practical. Wide deeply bulwarked decks encircle the wheelhouse and fore cabin making this boat an absolute doddle to crew safely.

One upgrade worth looking out for is the HiFly flybridge that extends the upper helm position across the roof creating far more seating than the original perch at the trailing edge of the wheelhouse of early examples. Introduced in 2005, every Botnia Targa 35 the UK importer has sold has been specified with this game changing addition.

Mostly sterndrives (IPS is a recent and expensive alternative), all Targa 35s have twin engine installations. There’s a wide range of choices, from a pair of Volvo Penta D4s through to the D6 engines in 330hp, 370hp and 400hp guise. This has the largest, giving a genuine 40 knots!

Look elsewhere if you want an opulent interior, the Targa 35 is well built but very functional

Legendary. In terms of design priority, speed and seakeeping are Job #1. The Botnia Targa 35 blasts through the rough stuff like an Exocet, throwing up huge curtains of water on either side.

Windy 37 Shamal

At over 500ft long and almost 80ft wide, Dilbar is one of the largest and most famous superyachts in the world. She was designed by Espen Øino, who also designs superyacht tenders, including a couple for Windy , but the 37 Shamal was his first production boat design.

Unashamedly a performance boat, the emphasis is clearly not on accommodation. That said, there’s plenty of space for a weekend aboard for a family, or a week for a couple.

And that’s because Windy has focussed on sleeping space down below – there’s no dinette or galley, the idea is that the cockpit is the living space.

There’s a vee-shaped double forward and another two berths further aft beneath the cockpit floor with a neat bi-fold door that folds flush against the bulkhead when open to create an open plan layout.

There’s a heads too of course, which rather impressively features a separate shower stall. What is most noticeable is the quality, from the beautifully wrought carpentry to the stainless steel detailing.

Below deck is for sleeping only with a master cabin and this double under the cockpit

The cockpit stretches across the full beam of the boat (there are no side decks, foredeck access is through the screen) and includes a galley module and a large U-shaped seating area around a folding table. A bimini stows away under here, with side sections that enclose the whole cockpit.

But ultimately this is a driver’s machine, hence the three chunky forward facing seats behind the wraparound screen (complete with trademark grab rail), all with lift bolsters allowing you to stand and enjoy the performance.

Talking of performance, there is plenty of it! Twin Volvo Penta D6-440 5.5 litre turbocharged diesels live under the sunpad aft, channeling their combined 880hp through a pair of duo prop outdrives for a blistering top end of 45 knots and a fast cruise in the high 30 knots range.

Performance is nothing without control however, and the Windy has control, and serious offshore capability hardwired into its DNA thanks to its slender, deep vee hull design.

We described it as covering ground with ‘laughable ease, relishing the opportunity to explore the upper reaches of the rev range’.
