41m Baglietto motor yacht Blue Ice sold
The 41.1-metre Baglietto motor yacht Blue Ice has been sold with Frank Grzeszczak Sr. and Baron Carruthers of FGI Yacht Group representing the seller and Riccardo Solci of Denison Yachting representing the buyer.
Designed by Aldo Cichero , Blue Ice was built in aluminium by Italian yard Baglietto and delivered in 1999 with a $3,000,000 refit in 2016 and a further refit in 2021. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins comprising a full beam master suite with a private study, two doubles and two twins, one with a Pullman berth.
The massive saloon is open-plan throughout and has a comfortable U-shaped seating arrangement in shades of grey and white, a media centre and a conference area made private by a circular cherry wood screen.
There is also formal dining available for 10 guests at a custom-made table. The galley is the ideal place for informal snacks and had all its appliances renewed in the winter of 2006/2007.
A sheltered aft deck has built-in seating and a table for al fresco entertaining and dining, and leads down to a starboard balcony at sea level for swimming and boarding water toys. The sun deck is vast and boasts large sun pads and loungers, a spa pool, bar, barbecue and a dedicated outdoor sound system.
Twin 2,200hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 25 knots and a range of 2,800 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Blue Ice was asking $4,299,000.

A Summary of Motor Yacht BLUE ICE
The motor yacht BLUE ICE is a superyacht of capacious proportions. This 41 m (134 foot) luxury yacht was the work of at Baglietto in 1999. Superyacht BLUE ICE is a upscale yacht that can accommodate a total of 10 guests on board and has around 8 crew members. The naval architect who actualised her design details in respect of the yacht was Alcide Sculati and Studio Cichero and Rodriguez Engineering. Cerri & Associati/Ivana Porfiri in addition was responsible for her interior design.
The New Build & Design of Luxury Yacht BLUE ICE
The yacht's general design work came from Alcide Sculati and Studio Cichero and Rodriguez Engineering. The technical naval architect firm plans are the creation of Alcide Sculati. Motor Yacht BLUE ICE received her elegant interior designing from the interior design office of Cerri & Associati/Ivana Porfiri. In 1999 she was actually launched with celebration in Varazze and following sea trials and final completion was then delivered to the owner who commissioned her. Baglietto completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. A fairly large proportion is brought about with a widest beam (width) of 8.2 m or 26.9 feet. With a 2m (6.6ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is built from aluminium. In 2007 further refitting and modernisation was also performed.
Engineering & Speed For M/Y BLUE ICE:
BLUE ICE posseses twin robust MTU diesel engine(s) and can find a exalting maximum limit speed underway at 28 knots. The main engine of the BLUE ICE gives 2200 horse power (or 2046 kilowatts). Her total HP is 4400 HP and her total Kilowatts are 4091. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. For bow thruster maneuverability she was fitted with Rms. This yacht’s convienient cruising speed is 25 knots which enables a range of 2800.

Blue Ice is a stunning Uniesse 72, entirely refitted between 2019 & 2023. Its 22,4-meter length offers the spaces and comfort of a much larger boat. The hull typology allows for great stability both during sailing and at anchor, while the two engines ensure limited consumption.
The yacht boasts four cabins: Master, VIP and two Twin all with bathroom and SAT-TV. The large salon area has a large sofa with 40'' Sat-TV and a table that seats up to eight guests. The comfortable table for eight is located at stern. The flybridge has a sunbathing area and a table with chairs.
Blue Ice's crew of three is composed by the captain, a stewardess/cook and a sailor.

The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses. These include fuel for the yacht, fuel for the ski-boats or other tenders, food for the charterers, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks for the Charterers, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht’s own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and/or electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via Satcom, Radio Telephone or telex costs, hire costs of special equipment placed on board at the request of the Charterer and crew gratuities. Prices exclude VAT (if applicable). VAT calculation depends on the embarkation port' country and on the cruising area. Charters shorter than a week are also available, depending on the date.
