Truly the most centrally located placed we've stayed in Door County. It is a wonderful place, from which one can walk to most anything.

I have stayed in a few different condos over the last two summers. Now I try to get the same one. Always a great time. You cannot beat the view! The TV stays off and we sit on the balconies and watch the lake. The units I have rented in all had nice furniture, are clean and have kitchens with all the pots and pans you need. We always save money eating in, and utilize the gas grills. Plenty of room for two couples. Never feel cramped or in each other's space. They have everything you need to get away on the water. There is a spot to launch kayaks, play tennis, seen people fish from the marina. Plenty of places to walk to. Can't forget to mention pool and hot tub. Both are perfect temperatures and never seem over chlorinated Next door is a public beach for swimming and a short walk swings for the kids. Short walk to local shops and eating. We like the location. Neighboring towns don't seem to far to run out to eat or shop. We try to stay at least once a summer and love it so much we stopped looking for another place to stay.

The price you pay is for the view, not for the out dated condo's that you are in. Which are owned by others that have pets but you are not allowed to bring yours. Instead of a nice outdoor pool they have a tennis court that no one uses and it blocks the beautiful view of the bay with it's high chain link fence that is around it. I feel it's way over priced and I won't be back there with my family. For what I paid 3 nights for I could rent a new custom house for a week in town.

This is a repost of a previous review that appears to have been removed. The management was horrible to speak with in attempts to cover the most basic items such ad room availability, Any change or request was a Major inconvenience to them, which was the priority of course. Unless the mean little lady is gone it's best to stay away. Issues won't be resolved and you'll be treated like dirt rather than a guest if the past is indicative of the future.

I am so sorry that you did not have a great experience. I would like to assure you that the management has changed since your stay in 2018 and that you will be always be welcomed with a smile. Our front desk staff and management will do everything possible to assist you with any requests you may have. I hope that you will give us another chance to make your next stay in Door County a memorable one.

A friend's family owns a condo here and we've stayed here twice. The location is good - it's close to "downtown" Sister Bay, but yet a little removed so there's not a ton of traffic going right by. The condo we stayed in has a balcony overlooking the water on and Labor Day we were able to watch the fireworks display from the balcony. Plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance, the beach is walking distance as well. There are some BBQ grills placed around the club for public use, which was nice. One bonuses of renting a condo vs a hotel is you can buy food and eat some meals in - saving cash and calories. The location is quiet as well, the only noise we experienced was being able to overhear other peoples conversations while sitting outside. Two thumbs up.

We have stayed here several times over the past few years and it has always been a great experience. Condos are clean and comfortable and the amenities are great. Staff has been very helpful for anything we needed. Had a family reunion with 6 condos reserved this fall and it was great. So nice to be able to cook in, have a washer dryer in the unit, and the views are outstanding! Highly recommend this.

Great condos! We stayed on the third floor. Two bedroom condo with two baths, balcony, steam shower, and washer and dryer. The main bathroom had two sinks. I would however recommend a king size bed for the main room. Second room had two twin beds and a pull out in the living room. Flat screen tv in the main living room and a smaller tv in the second bedroom. This particular unit was brightly decorated in the nautical theme and very clean. Extra pillows, sheets and towels available. Full size kitchen and eating area is a plus. It ran about $170 dollars per person with four people for three nights. Not bad considering the amenities. All condos face the bay which is a plus! Great views! I would recommend upgrading the cooking pans in the kitchen. They were pretty worn out and uneven. Other than that super upgraded condo! On a side not when we first arrived we were assigned a different condo on the first floor which was dark, dingy, and smelled super musty, dirty to me. So definitely check it out before you agree. They were nice and let us move condos because they were not busy. We did not get the condo we picked and were moved two times prior to arrival due to maintenance? Other than that it was a pleasant experience and we were very comfortable. I think each condo is individually owned. It was a nice experience for me since I was able to wash my clothes in my own condo which meant I did not have to take so much clothing on vacation. Very quiet and would recommend for groups.

Desk clerk on Sunday 7/21 extremely rude and over bearing. She was even rude to her co worker who was checking us out. She continued to shout Can I help you, can I help you even though the young man was already helping us. And we stated as much she then screamed " you know check out is at 10:00 am (it was 1055) Perhaps some of the owners don't need to rent their units, but we know several who do and this shows badly on Sister Bay Resort and Yacht club.

Great location is Sister Bay, WI, and lovely views of the bay and marina from the windows and the balcony. Unit owners do their own decorating here, which (from past experience) can be dicey, but ours was quite tasteful and felt like a vacation home. We eat all our meals in restaurants in Door Co, but the kitchen seemed well-equipped for those inclined to eat-in. This unit had two twin beds in one BR, and one double bed in the other. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds and common areas were well-maintained. An outside elevator goes to second and third floors. Entrances to the units are outside (no interior hallways). The condos are close (adjacent) to a municipal park and beach, which could be very noisy in the high season, but was fairly quiet in early June. My biggest complaint about YC@SB, was the lack of maid service. I know it is common for condo resorts not to have full maid service. But this place has zero maid service. No one comes in to make the beds each day, or empty the garbage, or remove and replace towels. The unit did have some spare towels in a bedroom closet, but there was no receptacle for used, wet towels. We asked at the desk where we could deposit our dirty towels, and were told, "just leave them". So we had a large pile of used towels by the end of our 4-day stay. Even worse, we also received instructions to empty our waste baskets and take the garbage to the dumpsters on our check-out morning. $200/night (in early season), and we had to empty and haul our own trash! I have stayed at several other resorts in Door Co and have never encountered anything like this. Note that check-out time is 10am, so if you are not an early riser, you might need to set an alarm to get yourself (and your trash) removed on time. The office/reception is only open 8am to 4pm which affects not only check-in/out, but also availability of things like extra towels, or other amenities.
