Ferretti Yachts announces new 30m Skydeck 1000 model

Italian yard Ferretti Yachts has announced a new edition of its flagship model with the introduction of Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck. Building on the success of the original 1000 model, the new version will share the same DNA with the added bonus of a fully-glazed upper deck lounge with open-able slats in the overheard to allow natural ventilation. 

The first unit of the 30.1-metre model is scheduled to launch in June 2023, and it will go on to make its appearance at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2023.

The Skydeck has been designed with all-weather living in mind. As well as benefitting from natural airflow, the space can also be fitted with air-conditioning to keep it cool in hot weather. A staircase provides direct access from the bridge and there is a side door leading to the bow for maximum flexibility. Another set of full-height glass doors leads to an aft relaxation area where there is a bar and loose furniture.  

The yacht's design is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, architect Filippo Salvetti designing the exterior and Ideaeitalia crafting the interior. 

The new Ferretti Yachts model has the same sporty exterior styling as her sister, with a "suavely understated design featuring clean lines and sophisticated materials," according to a representative from the shipyard. 

The 'Just Like Home' ethos that exists across all Ferretti Group's brands has been emulated in the 1000 Skydeck, and the decor of the new model will use delicate woods and a contrast of warm hues and paler shades.

The Ferretti Yachts Skydeck 1000 will slot into the yard's existing range of seven flybridge yachts. It bears some similarities to the yard's InFYnito range , which also focuses on blending al fresco spaces with interior comfort. 

The unveiling of the new model comes shortly after Ferretti Group announced its financial results for 2022 .

Constant determination to improve levels of comfort and habitability has resulted in an extraordinary new version of the Ferretti Yachts flagship. Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck expresses the brand’s distinctive values of comfort, Italian style, timeless design and craftsmanship.

The great novelty is the upper deck completely enclosed by windows, connected to the sun deck by a full-height sliding glass door: a true second salon to be enjoyed in all conditions, at any time of the year. The new Skydeck is a bright, sheltered and versatile space that can be used all year round with air conditioning. Access to the deck is easy both from the inside, via the helm station, and from the outside via the staircase that connects it to the cockpit, with a side door to access the bow area.

The outdoor terrace is cosy and convivial, with a fibreglass bar and stools, and the aft area can be customised with autonomous furniture, adapting to the owner’s taste.

Like the Ferretti Yachts 1000, the new Skydeck version is versatile and suitable for every market, thanks to design solutions and interior design conceived to meet different needs.

Nuova versione per l’ammiraglia del cantiere forlivese, il Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck , che si distingue per l’ upper deck completamente rinnovato, chiuso da vetrate , per creare un ambiente protetto, ideale in ogni momento dell’anno.

Le zone esterne e quelle interne sono in totale continuità, arredate con le stesse essenze, dove dominano giochi di contrasti tra toni caldi e nuance più chiare e delicate.

Frutto della collaborazione tra il Comitato Strategico di Prodotto, presieduto dall’Ing. Piero Ferrari, il Dipartimento Engineering Ferretti Group, l’architetto Filippo Salvetti per gli esterni e lo studio Ideaeitalia per il concept degli interni, questo yacht si caratterizza per il comfort, l’italianità, il design senza tempo e l’artigianalità tipici del brand.

Si accede al ponte sia dall’interno , attraverso la plancia di comando, sia dall’esterno, con la scala che porta al pozzetto; una porta laterale, invece, conduce all’area di prua.

La terrazza esterna ha un mobile bar in vetroresina con sgabelli; mentre l’area posta più a poppa può essere allestita con mobili free standing, a discrezione dell’armatore.

Due le versioni per gli interni: Classic o Contemporary .

Il varo è previsto per l’estate 2023, il debutto ufficiale, invece, avverrà in occasione del Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2023.

La grande novità è l’ upper deck completamente chiuso da vetrate , connesso al sun deck da una porta scorrevole in vetro a tutta altezza: nasce così un vero e proprio secondo salone, da vivere appieno in qualsiasi condizione, in ogni momento dell’anno e della giornata. In totale continuità con gli ambienti interni, è arredato con le stesse essenze dove a dominare è un gioco di contrasti tra toni caldi e nuance più chiare e delicate.

Il nuovo Skydeck è un ambiente luminoso, riparato e multifunzionale, sfruttabile in ogni momento dell’anno e della giornata nel massimo confort inoltre può disporre di aria condizionata . Nuovi modelli, progetti in corso e le innovazioni su cui il gruppo sta lavorando sono state recentemente illustrate durante un incontro a Madrid che ha riunito oltre 130 comandanti e direttori di macchina di navi e imbarcazioni di Ferretti Group, oltre a partner tecnici ed esperti, per un totale di oltre 200 partecipanti.

Si è parlato anche di intelligenza artificiale e nuove tecnologie , sulle quali l'azienda sta investendo per offrire agli armatori "una esperienza di navigazione sempre più unica ed appagante".

Tra gli ultimi modelli realizzati dal gruppo c'è la “ Ferretti Yacht 1000 Skydeck”  che potrà portare a bordo 20 persone con interni classici o contemporanei e un ponte superiore spazioso e super elegante.

Altra novità è "Infynito 90" : grazie al design dello scafo a dislocamento veloce, si può arrivare a una velocità di 22 nodi e percorrere 500 miglia a una velocità di 15 nodi, oppure 1200 miglia a una velocità di crociera economica di 12 nodi.

Ha un pozzetto, spazioso e personalizzabile; dispone di una  spa con Jacuzzi, un bar privato, una sofisticata lounge da cui guardare l'infinito.

Poi c'è il modello " Pershing GTX116" con ampie zone living interne ed esterne; i complementi di arredo in eucalipto – che si ritrovano in tutti gli ambienti dello yacht – sono caratterizzati da venature speculari a 45° per accentuare il gioco di chiaroscuro; a prua trova spazio un’ampia area prendisole, che può essere arricchita da una Whirlpool Jacuzzi .

"Itama 62RS” è un è un open yacht, si può scegliere il colore dello scafo e l'allestimento della coperta di prua e a bordo può ospitare 14 persone. A Dusseldorf era stato presentato anche il wallypower 50 e a breve lo sarà la Navetta 38 di Custom Line .

Tra i prossimi appuntamenti che vedono la Ferretti Group protagonista c'è il " Palm Beach International Boat Show" che si svolgerà dal 21 al 24 marzo 2024, in questa occasione saranno presentato cinque splendidi modelli.

PALM BEACH - Da Miami a Palm Beach, resta aperto il palcoscenico americano della nautica, allestito lungo la costa atlantica, nel cuore della Florida, meta prediletta dei ricconi di mezzo mondo, attratti dalla bellezza dei luoghi e dalla possibilità di vedere, tutti insieme, i prodotti più interessanti della cantieristica mondiale. Furono 55.000 i visitatori dell’edizione 2023 del Palm Beach Boat Show, con ricadute economiche per il territorio stimate in oltre un miliardo di dollari e vendite per 725 milioni. Numeri importanti, che spiegano l’interesse dei cantieri a partecipare all’evento, per mettere in mostra il meglio della propria produzione più recente.

Yacht e super yacht conquistano la scena , con unità che in alcuni casi superano anche i 100 piedi di lunghezza, ma il salone di Palm Beach – sarà bene chiarirlo – mette in mostra di tutto, dai piccoli gommoni ai panfili più grandi e più lussuosi. Secondo gli organizzatori, il valore complessivo delle imbarcazioni e degli accessori esposti supera 1,2 miliardi di dollari.

E’ in questo scenario che il Made in Italy recita ancora una volta un ruolo di primissimo piano, con alcuni dei marchi più rappresentativi della nostra cantieristica, da Azimut-Benetti a Ferretti Group, da Sanlorenzo ad Arcadia, fino ai più piccoli Fiart e Invictus, coraggiosamente disposti a sfidare gli americani sul loro terreno, quello dei walkaround attorno ai 10 metri con potenti motorizzazioni fuoribordo e carene attrezzate per sfidare l’oceano.

Il Gruppo Azimut-Benetti presenta in anteprima per l’America i modelli Grande 26M e Grande 36M di Azimut, appartenenti a una delle serie più amate dal pubblico. La line-up è completata da altre unità delle linee S, Verve, Fly e Magellano. Con il marchio Benetti vengono invece presentati per la prima volta in America il motoryacht Triumph 65M, nato per un massimo comfort di navigazione, e l’Oasis 34M Grateful, destinato ad armatori che ricercano un’unione totale con il mare in un ambiente informale. Una presenza importante, dunque, che conferma la centralità del mercato d’oltreoceano e di un salone strategicamente rilevante per raggiungere non solo i clienti del Nord America ma anche quelli del Messico, dei Caraibi e dell’America Latina.

Ferretti Group è presente al salone americano con il Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck, i Riva 82 Diva e 88 Folgore, il Pershing 9X, l’Itama 62RS e il Wallypower58. Imbarcazioni di successo, già note e affermate, che testimoniano la capacità della holding guidata dall’avvocato Galassi di proporre al mercato internazionale prodotti di qualità con vocazioni diverse, dalla funzionalità generalista alla sportività, dal lusso estremo alle innovazioni tecniche e stilistiche più spinte.

Sanlorenzo schiera alcuni fra i modelli più apprezzati dalla clientela americana: a tre unità con il marchio capogruppo, i Sanlorenzo SD118, SL86 e SD90, viene affiancato il Bluegame BGX73. “In tal modo – si legge in una nota del gruppo guidato da Massimo Perotti – viene esaltata la capacità di fondere design e comfort contemporanei con tecnologia d’avanguardia, qualità e attenzione alla sostenibilità, il tutto con la massima flessibilità nel fornire soluzioni su misura per i clienti”.

Arcadia, cantiere campano famoso per l’approccio sostenibile e la carica innovativa, ha colto l’occasione del 42° Palm Beach Yacht Show per annunciare la firma di un accordo di collaborazione con The Italian Yacht Group, mirato alla vendita delle innovative imbarcazioni del brand campano destinate alle acque statunitensi: un passo avanti ulteriore, dopo aver già varcato da tempo i confini europei, con presenze non solo nel Mediterraneo, ma anche a Hong Kong, passando per il mar dei Caraibi, il Messico e l’Australia.

Dallo stesso territorio, la Campania, sono sbarcati a Palm Beach anche i prodotti di ultima generazione di Fiart, il cantiere controllato dalla famiglia Di Luggo che dopo la passerella nella vicina Miami ha esposto, in collaborazione con l’importatore esclusivo per gli USA Yacht Creators, i Seawalker 35 (con 11,52 metri il più piccolo della gamma walkaround) e il Seawalker 39, bestseller di vendite, presentato al mercato americano in versione Bespoke, con tre motori fuoribordo Mercury da 300 hp e verniciatura interna ed esterna azzurra color Aston Martin Caribbean Pearl: “un omaggio alle coste della Florida” dicono in cantiere.

Anche Invictus, noto marchio italiano specializzato in barche di dimensioni meno impegnative, ma di qualità superiore, è presente a Palm Beach, dove viene esposto, presso lo stand del dealer locale Iconic Yacht Group, il modello TT420S, versione fuoribordo di una delle barche di maggior successo del brand calabrese, che ha già venduto in America, in meno di due anni, alcune decine di unità, misurandosi in uno dei segmenti di mercato più difficili, vista la massiccia presenza del Made in USA.

Princess X95 Vista premieres at Palm Beach

The Palm Beach International Boat Show features strong line-ups from Princess, Ferretti Group, Fairline, Aquila and Camper & Nicholsons.

Princess X95 Vista

Princess staged the world premiere of its X95 Vista at this year’s Palm Beach International Boat Show (March 21-24), while the Y95 made its Palm Beach debut alongside the Y85, X80, V55 and F50 in downtown West Palm Beach . Compared to the original X95, t he Vista version of the Plymouth builder’s flagship has “ an enhanced exterior design and a new panoramic bow structure”.

Fairline Squadron 68

Fellow British builder Fairline displayed its flagship Squadron 68 flybridge and Phantom 65 sportsbridge, as well as the Targa 50 GT and Targa 45 Open cruisers. Miles Moorhouse, Fairline’s Head of Marketing, said: “Visitors could step on four of our most popular models and find out more about the Fairline range, as well as what’s to come. With our continued investment in new products, and our focus on US growth, it’s an exciting time for Fairline in the Americas.”

Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck

Ferretti Group displayed six motor yachts, ranging from the Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck and Riva ‘s 82’ Diva and 88’ Folgore to the Pershing 9X, Itama 62RS and Wally ’s wallypower58. Aquila and its US dealer MarineMax showed the 47 Molokai from the powercat builder’s new Offshore fishing boat series, the best-selling 36 Sport, and the 42 Yacht and 44 Yacht from its inboard flybridge range.

CL Yachts’ CLX96

At the show, Camper & Nicholsons displayed CL Yachts’ flagship CLX96 and two Feadships: the 47m Berilda (2001) and 38m Calypso (1978). In the surrounding area, the historic brokerage house showed the 42m Holland Jachtbouw Fabulous Character (2010) and the 23m Shark (1972), which was built at Rybovich in Palm Beach.
