The oyster 675 is a beautifully proportioned 70 foot sailboat with a huge hull volume that makes her extremely versatile, with a wide variety of customised build options..

Well provisioned as an ocean sailboat, with large tankage, ample space above and below decks and plenty of stowage, including a vast, full-width lazarette. The spacious and sheltered cockpit, with space for eight features audio and a built-in refrigerator. Choose from the standard or optional extended transom, both of which can accommodate a telescopic passerelle along with a hydraulic bathing platform for easy access into the water and dinghy.

Unlike a production 70 foot yacht for sale, the Oyster 675 is a true bluewater adventure machine, designed and built to our meticulous and renowned build quality.

The knowledge, experience and skill of Humphreys’ naval architects, combined with Oyster’s in-house design studio and our craftspeople ensure complete reassurance and confidence at sea. The excellent stability is further enhanced by the intelligent placement of utilities throughout the hull form.

Her hull and deck are Lloyd’s Register certified. Constructed using the highest quality materials, her reinforced, monolithic composite hull structure offers superior strength, stiffness and weight optimisation. With further reinforcement in the slam zones and keel area, she is strong, safe and robust, built to adapt to any conditions, from the calm waters of the Mediterranean to challenging ocean passages. With her inspiring sailing capability and large sail locker for downwind sails, it should come as no surprise owners consider her the best 70 foot sailboat for long-distance bluewater adventures.

Despite her substantial displacement, the Oyster 675 is responsive and fast-moving, delivering consistently fast passage-making speed. Our design team have gone to extreme lengths to consider every aspect of the sailing experience to make her equally suited to shorthanded sailing or cruising with a full crew. When manoeuvring in tight spots, the retractable bow and stern thrusters, fitted as standard, provide complete control.

The ergonomically designed twin helm stations feature large helm seats with backrests, grab handles and sunken footwells for protection if conditions turn rough. She features a hydraulic push-button, in-mast furling and headsail furling is set up as standard. All navigation and automated sailing controls are located on the twin helm stations, with winches positioned within easy reach.

Designed to make life aboard relaxed and comfortable on extended passages, every convenience is incorporated into your customised interior design.

The oyster 675 interiors can be customised to accommodate a variety of family, friends and crew..

Interior layouts include three double ensuite guest cabins, with a generous owner’s cabin with ensuites positioned fore or aft. Another option offers two double ensuite guest cabins and a separate crew cabin.

Balancing practicality and style the volume below deck accommodates every comfort. Notable features include standing-height ceilings, full-sized appliances in the galley, air conditioning and Oysters’ proprietary mood lighting system. The light and spacious saloon is naturally ventilated through the forward-opening saloon windows. The generous cabins feature quality deep mattresses, mirrors, island berths, cedar-lined wardrobes, and plenty of stowage and the ensuite heads have seamless walk-in shower trays and quiet flush toilets. As a result, the Oyster 675 offers a contemporary, luxurious home-from-home living space.

Considered design and space planning offers stylish, contemporary living spaces, proudly crafted and hand-finished in tried and trusted materials, including hand-selected hardwoods in oak or walnut.

The wide companionway and intuitively placed grab handles hint at considered practicality and safety throughout the Oyster 675. The large, welcoming saloon has wraparound windows above and triple Seascape windows in the hull, making it feel light and spacious, with magnificent panoramic views. The u-shaped galley opens onto the saloon, making it an integral part of this relaxed social space. Fully equipped, it has room for a large fridge freezer, microwave, cooker and built-in extractor fan. The generous saloon table seats eight comfortably and is perfect for gatherings of friends, family and crew.

Reflecting its long-distance capabilities, the latest technology is key to the Oyster 675’s versatility, comfort and work aboard potential.

The generous navigation station doubles as the ideal work-aboard space and technology hub, with an optional PC, lift-top large desk, plotter, VHF radio, power management, generator control, switchboard, and plenty of power sockets. It is also home to the Oyster Command™ system. This intuitive digital switching system connects everything from entertainment, utilities and lighting to monitoring systems. It can also be accessed from the helm station and optional additional touchscreens fitted in cabins.

Push-button Seldén hydraulic headsail furling and in-mast mainsail furling, combined with the swept-back rig, make precision control and shorthanded sailing possible.

Retractable hydraulic bow and stern thrusters

Powerful Sleipner Sidepower retractable bow and stern thrusters enable easy, close-quarters manoeuvring.

Hand-built oak & walnut interior

Hand-crafted joinery runs throughout the interiors, in beautiful hand-selected oak timber with a satin finish varnish. Crown cut, random width, and walnut veneered boards create solid cabin soles, with soft carpets enhancing the luxurious feel of the owner and guest cabins.

The Onan 11kw 4-cylinder diesel generator is more than capable of running all your 240v appliances. Almost silent in operation, it is easy to operate and monitor from the control panel in the navigation station.

Seascape windows

The interior is beautifully lit throughout, with two sets of Seascape windows in the saloon and two in the owner’s cabin with Oceanair manual blinds for privacy when moored in a marina.

Air conditioning

Keep the interior at the perfect temperature with air conditioning that cools and heats. Controls in each cabin provide guests with the ability to adjust temperature based on personal requirements. The system runs efficiently from the generator or a 230v dockside supply.

Interior layout configuration

The Oyster 675 offers two layouts to suit requirements, but the volume provides the opportunity for further customisation. With all three cabin configurations, there is a useful bunk room with two bunks situated amidships on the starboard side.

Wood options

In addition to the standard oak interior, hand-crafted maple, cherry or walnut woods can be selected to add a timeless feel to a contemporary Oyster interior.

Bathing platform

The generous, hydraulic-operated bathing platform, laid with teak decking and a drop-in stainless-steel ladder, offers easy access to the water. The bumper bar posts allow safe docking for the tender.

Extended transom

Enjoy the additional storage space in the full-width lazarette – a hidden benefit of the extra space created on the aft deck with our extended transom option.

Hull colours

Make the Oyster 675 your own with a choice of hull, mast and sail colours to suit your personal taste. You can also specify creative vinyl wrap and paint options to make an instantly recognisable look.

Hydraulic passerelle

The retractable hydraulic Besenzoni 2.7m passerelle is neatly hidden in the transom. Sleek and stylish, it has a teak footboard and a painted or polished stainless-steel finish. Operate from the cockpit, with a remote control or even from your smartphone.

Sunreef 70: A Luxurious, Customizable Catamaran for Ocean Adventures

Both new owners and those who are leveling up from 50 or 60 feet will find the new Sunreef 70 fits every idea they have of their new boat. More space and more options of customization – those just might be the two defining characteristics of luxury builds, and Sunreef 70 has them both.

While many other brands offer customization in terms of materials, fabrics and equipment, with their latest model Sunreef 70 Eco (solar panels and electric engines), Sunreef Yachts take a step farther.

Sunreef 70 Power

The latest Sunreef catamaran is just as seductive and impressive as her predecessors like Sunreef 80 , carrying the same DNK. Already sold in thirteen units, and recipient of the Best Sailing Yacht of the 2021 The International Yacht & Aviation Award, this luxury yacht is sporty in every detail.

Vertical portholes fit beautifully into her dark hull, and the cut out in the railing connects her to her larger sister Sunreef 100, while the dark gray hull and tinted glass surfaces give the new model a mean look that will attract attention in every port and marina.

Sunreef 70 Anima

The most used space on every yacht , the salon, is especially large on the 70, with 287 square meters. Spacious, airy and light, the main deck salon is connected to the cockpit into one gigantic semi-open space equally enjoyable for entertaining, relaxing, sunbathing and water sports . The very comfortable skipper seat has been pushed forward, toward the glass wall right next to the exit onto the bow, to maximize flow.

The unit we tested, Sunreef 70 Anima, had two large sofas and numerous storage units, a large coffee table and several small cabinets, with plenty of free space on both sides of the table. The layout with the galley below deck allows creation of a master cabin larger than any in this category, as well as three guest cabins and a large crew cabin.

On the unit we tested, one of the guest cabins was turned into a kids’ cabin with Pullman beds. This layout sleeps eight and is perfect for luxury charter . The other available layout offers four guest cabins with en-suites and direct access to the aft.

The builder chose luxury materials and fabrics for all cabins, adding to the master some extras, like a pop-up TV, a walk-in wardrobe, and an en-suite in gray and black marble. In the salon, there is another large TV, hidden when not in use ad served by an electric lowering system, which can turn any evening into a cozy movie evening, especially when discreet LED lights are on.

Behind the salon, toward the bow and between the al fresco galley and the lower deck passage, a wide and safe staircase leads directly to the fly deck. This deck is especially cozy, with a command post (served by a bench) on the right, a small galley behind it, and a sectional large enough to seat all guests at the same time. Behind the sofa there are several sunbeds, hiding below storage space large enough to fit a bike.

Hydraulic winches for the mainsail are placed laterally, right above gennaker/genoa commands, and two other winches are at the mast heel. All of this in co-operation with digital systems and the Dockmate – which allows wireless engine and thruster control while docking – makes maneuvering easy and safe even with minimal crew.

Dynamic design and almost endless customization options are the most interesting features of this new model, already popular with previous Sunreef owners, equally skilled in sailing the waters of the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic and the North Sea.

Sunreef Eco 70

Available in a sustainable version, with solar panels and electric engines, this premium yacht is truly the best possible travel pal for ocean adventures.

In terms of the exterior, the Eco 70 actually changed very little in comparison to the standard Sunreef 70 , which means the interior is still brimming with advanced solutions. Every inch of the hull is covered with Sunreef solar panels with peak regeneration capacity of up to 30 kW, whose flexibility allows perfect adherence to the rounded surfaces (143 square meters in total) of the hull, the fly bridge and the roof.

Their minimal weight translates into maximum efficiency (less than 5.2 kg / kWh). Ecology was also taken into account in the interior, but not at the expense of luxury, so all fabrics are natural and sustainably sourced.

Presence of 285 kW to 475 kW 622V battery and two generators (2 x 75 kW) that serve the two 90 kW electric engines influenced the size of the fuel and water tanks, which are slightly smaller than usual, but this does not affect range in any way. All of this smart engineering is cleverly hidden and hasn’t damaged the style and the overall sporty feeling of the Eco 70.

Description.

Launched in June 2010, this is the fifth unit of the Sunreef 70 Sailing model introduced by Sunreef Yachts at the end of 2008. The yacht is sold for a private client wishing to enjoy his time aboard with family and friends.

Interior Design An interesting onboard feature is certainly the original interior design inspired by maritime Newport style and introduced for the first time on a Sunreef cat. All yachts being customized, this Sunreef 70 has inherited his owner’s truly classical boating taste based on essential yachting colours: white and blue. The owner, very much inspired by classical wooden boats, has worked closely with Sunreef in-house design bureau and specifically asked for a marine-styled yacht. The interior combines warm and reddish Macore wood with Oak wood painted white and teak flooring with navy blue and gray upholstery. The dining table in the saloon is decorated with wooden marquetry imitating a compass rose. Everything is completed by decorative elements made of brass coming from original passenger ships from 17th, 18th and 19th centuries such as old lamps, bar stools, door handles and railings. Other decorations such as wall paintings, window curtains and tableware will match the total by combining brown, white and blue colours. All the furniture is covered with Macore while walls, ceilings and lateral panels are made of Oak wood painted white with growth rings visibly marked. The floorings are covered by natural teak wood. Classical wooden blinds in the saloon add the final touch to this space. The galley is equipped with fridge and freezer by Siemens, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, wine chiller and many storage. All guest cabins feature six hull windows, a new feature introduced on all Sunreef boats two years ago ensuring great visibility and natural light access.

Below Decks:  Starboard hull: double guest with en-suite bathroom cabin in the bow and large owner suite in the aft featuring double bed with bedside tables, full-size cupboard, book shelves, sofa and large bathroom finished in Macore. Port side hull: crew quarters in the bow featuring double cabin plus one extra single cabin for additional member, storage and technical space, crew galley and saloon and two guest double cabins in the aft, one of which featuring double bed and the second one bunk beds with small desk and numerous book shelves – an ideal solution for children travelling with parents and studying at the same time.

One of the major changes is that the mast is located much further aft than on most catamarans which, according to the designers, improves performance and considerably reduces pitching. Revolutionary curved daggerboards give a hydrofoil effect. It benefits also from good hull length and increased power, creating an ultra-performance cruising catamaran. The interior and exterior living areas are designed with continuous horizontal and fluent lines to merge inside/outside living spaces into one for more spaciousness and improved safety.

This stunning 2020 74′ Sunreef sailing catamaran is nothing short of extraordinary. Ocean Vibes takes sailing charter yacht luxury to the next level as she boasts four large queen berths each with private ensuite baths including electric heads, vanity and separate showers.

Crewed with Captain Glen, Chef and First Mate Alex, and Stewardess Lyndsay, guests will have all their expectations continuously exceeded. Cabins and yacht common areas offer wonderful natural lighting and great ventilation with full custom air-conditioning.

The salon will seat all guests in comfort for lounging or dining with the exterior offering an alfresco dining experience to remember. Top deck seating and villa-style aft lounge area make this charter yacht one-of-a-kind. Chef Alex is a certified fitness instructor and is happy to provide stretching and/or exercise sessions aboard.

With numerous lounging areas to stretch out, there is plenty of space for gathering as a group or finding a private place for one or two to take all the Caribbean in.

Ocean Vibes is the first of the new 70’ series with galley down, 4 cabins plus crew, and forepeak built. While housing the main helm, the 600 sqft flybridge is dedicated to leisure with more than enough space for movable furniture, a fully equipped wet bar, a barbecue, and large sun pads.

The hulls of this new Sunreef 70 catamaran provide impressive volumes to set up a custom layout including airy, luxurious guest cabins and an opulent master suite with a walk-in dressing, desk, sofa, retractable TV, and an immense bathroom. A perfect setting to unwind and relax after a long day in the sun.

A sea gipsy with a wanderlust soul, Captain Glen is a Canadian-born, American ex-pat that has been based out of the Virgin Islands for 20 years, and calls his world voyaging sailing yacht home. Glen lives to travel, exploring the world and diverse cultures, thriving on good vibes and positive energy. Nurturing his lifelong love of the water, his sailing adventures include the entire Caribbean Sea, Central & South America, Panama Canal, South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Suez Canal, and the Mediterranean. Having had thousands of salty nautical miles slip under his keel, Captain Glen makes it a priority to custom-tailor your adventure to your specific needs and desires, ensuring this is your trip of a lifetime!

Raised in Oakville, Ontario, but never adjusting to the freezing temperatures of his homeland, Glen immigrated to the United States at the age of 20 and continued progressing to the little latitudes through a highly successful career as a professional hotelier. Along the journey, Glen has successfully managed various luxury boutique resorts throughout the Caribbean, including the islands of Vieques, Puerto Rico, Virgin Gorda, Bermuda, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Dominica, and Nevis.

Throughout his epic adventures, Glen’s heart has remained in the Virgins – home to the finest sailing in the World! – where he has returned to share his love of sailing and passion for the sea with you. Glen has extensive and intimate knowledge of the waters, people, and places of the entire Caribbean, especially the Virgin Islands (U.S., British, & Spanish). His familiarity includes all the anchorages, snorkel and dive sites, land and sea highlights, hiking locations, and beach bars to share with you. He has been fortunate to develop countless friendships and acquaintances, with locals and ex-pats alike, throughout the VI and Caribbean.

Chef and First Mate

Born upon the edge of the Baltic Sea, along the beautiful coastal beaches of Poland, Alex, grew up in a small seaside town, where her love of the sea began. Alex considers herself lucky to have been raised in a home where the allure of the ocean was ever-present, and with parents who taught her respect for the water, an appreciation of new opportunities, a love for travel, and an appetite for culturally rich food. Passions that have determined her life!

Fortunate to develop her passions into her work, Alex was employed with a Tourism and Event Coordination Agency. Organizing tours all around the world, and showing people the beauty it has to offer, the biggest reward was witnessing her guests enjoying their time and getting hooked on travel! Worldwide adventures have taught Alex that local communities best demonstrate their culture through cuisine, by tasting the food, and simply having a great time! Extensive travel, along with living on a yacht, has taught Alex the importance of fresh ingredients, and creativity in the galley, and has inspired her delicious and unforgettable meals. Alex is very happy to share all of that with you!

Presented an opportunity not to be missed, Alex realized her greatest dream come true, and the biggest challenge of her life, embarking on an epic sailing adventure to the far side of the world. Upon partnering with Captain Glen, Alex came to discover a life to suit her style. At once, feeling natural and right at home, settling into the fulfilment of a happy life, living in paradise down in the islands. The ultimate expression and appreciation of this are experienced in the Virgin Islands, where Alex takes great delight in sharing wonderful meals, island adventures, great conversation and laughs, delicious cocktails, and beautiful sunsets with her guests!

Lyndsay Tubbs grew up as a small-town farm girl in Central Minnesota. Her natural spirit to grow bigger brought her to the Twin Cities to complete a degree in Business Marketing.  Seeking the warmth of an environment that suited her best, she left the Midwest for a new life in the sun and sandy beaches of Florida. Tampa Bay is where she settled into a home for the next 10 years, working at an alternative newspaper in outsides sales in order to learn about the heart of the cities and meet the friendly pirate people of St.Petersburg and Tampa.  With a love of movement and outdoor activities, she was motivated to become a Certified Personal Trainer and complete a Stand-Up Paddle course for instructors, so she could share her love of health and outdoor happiness.  Utilizing her training skills and knowledge of the local area, Lyndsay ran outdoor fitness retreats in St. Petersburg, FL, training clients on the beach and in the local parks.  Often their retreat days included a stop at the local farmers market, where she could share her knowledge of holistic nutrition and food. As a complement to her love of service and new cuisine, she worked in hospitality at a destination hotel, The Don Cesar, where she was happy to meet people travelling from all over the world.

Seeking a change and adventure after a hurricane that adversely affected the Gulf Coast, a call from friends in the yachting industry sparked her interest to move to the East Coast of Florida and learn about boats and life at sea.  They promised her combined skills of fitness and a long history in hospitality would shine in the yachting industry, and the transition was successfully made.  While working on boats, she was able to simultaneously grow her wellness career by gaining her certification in yoga instruction through a travel yoga company that shared her belief in living your best life through movement, travel, good food, and an inspired heart.

Her professional yachting experiences, in particular, have stimulated her passion to connect, grow and explore the world and people around her.  She has a desire to alchemize happiness in every aspect of life, utilizing her role as stewardess and wellness expert as her palette for creation. An outdoor girl at heart, Lyndsay loves hiking, outdoor adventures, camping, fishing, travel and treasure hunting for all the unique finds that wash up on the shores of the islands.

Luxury Crewed Charter Rates

The Horizon Yacht Charters BVI Crewed Charter rates are for 7 nights per vessel and are based on the number of guests. Please see individual yacht pages for detailed specifications and charter rates. Horizon Yacht Charters luxury crewed yacht charters come complete with your own personal Captain & Chef (and in the larger yachts, first mate and hostess).  NB some yachts may be skipper only (with the option of a chef) – they are stated as such. Your meals aboard are included in the rate and prepared to your group’s individual preferences and dietary requirements. Beverages are also included but please note special requests for specific brands may be subject to an additional charge.  Watersports equipment (such as paddleboards, kayaks etc) are also included and some yachts offer all-inclusive diving.

High season rates typically apply from December to April, and Low season from May to November, but please do check the seasonal rates for your yacht.

Each individual crewed yacht may charge for certain additional expenses (e.g. National Park Permit, Cruising permit, different port collections or departures).  Please ask for a full breakdown of costs for your chosen yacht. Additional supplements may apply at Christmas and New Year.

All yachts come with tenders with outboards and safety equipment. Please review the individual yacht specification on our website for further details of available equipment and details of inclusions and exclusions.

Yacht photographs and specifications act as a guide and are for information purposes only.  Although we endeavour to ensure that images are accurate reflections of the yachts in our fleet, certain aspects may vary slightly.

Please note that our bareboat repeat client discount does not apply to our crewed charter fleet.

Charter Rates shown above are for 7 nights per vessel (Christmas and New Year supplements on selected yachts). Crewed Charters usually start at noon and finish at noon, but please do check times for your particular yacht.

An Environmental levy of $10 per head is payable by all visitors to the BVI on arrival (effective 1st Sept 2017).

Bookings and Cancellations  – We require a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation and the balance due of 50% no later than 45 days prior to charter start date. A smaller deposit and interim fee may be acceptable for bookings made more than 12 months in advance. Cancellation fees apply, and vary from yacht-to-yacht. Please check the specific terms for your yacht at the time of booking.
