With the ability to choose between either the British or American campaigns, you'll get to participate in historic battles and win wars.

The game developers really did a marvelous job trying to make it as lifelike as possible, adding in factors such as varying wind plans for every ship. They even accounted for the course of the wind and how it might affect the amount of damage your attacks will deliver. Historically accurate and detailed ships also boost the realistic factor the developers are aiming for.

Any manner of beast can pop out at any time, so looting chests of gold from other ships or unexplored islands is the best way to quickly ramp up your ship's defenses. What's even better is that this game is free to play on Steam.

This game takes peaceful serenity to another level. Taking your boat out to cruise on the sun-dappled, shimmering seas as you seek uncharted shores is one of the best features in the game.

1 Moonglow Bay

Editors’ Notes

The makers of the clever and addictive game 10000000 are at it again with an even bigger and wilder tile-matching, dungeon-exploring adventure. The pleasing mix of strategic depth and thrilling luck works beautifully as you make your way up a river, assemble an oddball assortment of crewmates, battle mythological creatures, and—you guessed it—build a boat. The retro graphics and jaunty chiptunes soundtrack are immediately charming, while defeating never-ending waves of monsters requires keen eyes and quick fingers.

Even more fun as co-op....

This game is difficult and fast paced. My wife watched me struggling with the game and asked to try it. She had a hard time too but we ended up playing it together and had a blast! It’s hard to see every potential match and it’s easy to get in ‘deer in the headlights’ moments but playing it together we accomplished greatness. I use an iPad Pro 12” so we lay in bed on our tummies like kids and play this. I’m not sure the developer has heard of it being played like that. The App Store should feature it as a ‘2 play on one device’ game but your moves can mess up the other’s plans so usually one of us is the primary player and when one sees a great match set-up, it’s time to take over. Sometimes we both freeze up and spin a row blindly hoping to set up others matches. I hope we aren’t the only ones that have fun playing this as co-op. There is a magic to the boat and music that really sparks the kind of imagination that many old school games did. I hope to learn of a sequel to this one!

Great! But there is a glitch.

I love this game so much! But there is a glitch that allows you to move two or more tiles at once without the match processing. What I mean by that is there can be a possible pair of three. But above or below that row, you can quickly move a tile of the same kind to make it a pair of four or higher. I can admit that I have used this glitch before, but it was for the “get two five in a row matches” it was extremely hard for me to beat. Thank you for taking your time to read this review, if you did.

Roblox Player Builds an Incredible Luxury Yacht in the Game

A crafty Roblox player takes online to share an incredible luxury yacht that they managed to build in the popular sandbox game.

  • Roblox player creates stunning luxury yacht interior, showcasing the game's impressive design capabilities and engineering feats.
  • The majority of Roblox games have a low-fidelity visual style, making this high-end yacht creation stand out as a unique and visually impressive project.
  • Designing graphically intensive environments in Roblox sacrifices performance on mobile devices, highlighting the challenges of balancing aesthetics with accessibility for the game's large mobile player base.

One tenacious Roblox player with some serious design skills managed to build an incredible luxury yacht in the popular sandbox game. Not only is their achievement yet another example of impressive engineering feats that Roblox creators have been authoring for nearly two decades at this point, but it also does a great job at underlining the modern capabilities of the game's proprietary engine.

Originally released in 2006, Roblox continues to entertain tens of millions of players to this date. According to the Roblox Corporation's latest financial report, its hit sandbox experience had over 214 million users as of early 2023. While Roblox isn't lacking in great building games , some of its players still prefer to spend their time constructing stuff with its creator tools just for the fun of it.

RELATED: Roblox Making Huge Change to Advertisements in the Game

That group also includes Reddit user CreatorPlanet13, who recently went through the effort of modeling the interior of a luxury yacht with some rather astonishing results. Their awe-inspiring Roblox creation features many amenities found on a typical high-end cruiser, including a spacious bar and some cozy-looking passenger cabins. Its list of facilities is helmed by a massive interior pool overlooked by a skylight, which also happens to connect to an extravagant locker room made almost entirely out of marble.

This newly emerged take on a Roblox boat also boasts a sleek-looking captain's deck and several sets of stairwells connecting its three vast decks. Large vending machines and leather benches are scattered throughout its many corridors, while the boat's floors feature wooden flooring that is occasionally interrupted by some minimalist gray carpeting. CreatorPlanet13 revealed that they haven't yet designed the yacht's exterior, adding that they're also uncertain whether their creation will ever be paired with an actual game. Nevertheless, many players took online to praise their accomplishment, positing that the end result of their design efforts doesn't even look like Roblox .

That sentiment largely stems from the fact that the vast majority of Roblox games are made with assets that are either low-poly, free to (re)use, or both. Given that state of affairs, Roblox is widely associated with a fairly low-fidelity visual style, even though its engine is capable of rendering much more impressive creations, as clearly underlined by this luxurious yacht interior.

Designing graphically intensive Roblox environments requires sacrificing performance on mobile devices, which accounted for nearly 80% of the game's active player base as of late 2022, according to the official figures from the Roblox Corporation. And while not many players can experience the game on a gaming PC, its developers might soon offer a comparably powerful alternative, as suggested by some recent indications that Roblox could finally be coming to PlayStation .

Roblox is available on PC, Mobile, and Xbox One.

Yacht

We’ll be back after this short break

Preparing...

Backgammon

Yacht is a classic dice game, dating back from 1938. The game is the predecessor of Yahtzee and has a lot of similarities to the Latin-American Generala, the Scandinavian Yatzy and the English game of Poker Dice. In this game, you have got 6 dice and the goal is to throw as much special combinations as possible. A turn starts with the first throw. After this throw you can choose which dice you want to lock for your combination, and you can throw the other dice for a second time. From this throw you can again lock some dice and then you can make a final throw. After this throw you can choose which combination you get in the scorecard.

Try to go for the higher combinations first. If you don't have a good combination at the end of your turn, make sure to put it on the lower combinations as they are worth less points.

How to play:

Use you mouse/finger and follow the instructions on the screen.

About the creator:

Yacht was created by Codethislab. They are well known for all their classic games on Poki, like Uno Online, Foosball and Master Checkers.

Yacht is a classic dice-rolling game that inspired the hit game Yahtzee by Milton Bradley. Play online against random opponents, create a game with your friends, or practice against the computer.

In Yacht, you need to make specific combinations that score the most points possible at the end of three rolls. At the end of the game, whoever has the most points wins.

Every turn, you have three dice rolls. After your first roll, you can choose to hold dice. The dice you hold will not be part of your next roll. After three rolls, pick a category on the scorecard to lock in your points. If you aren't sure what each category means, tap on the name to get more details.

HINT: If you score 63 or more points in the upper section of the scorecard, you'll earn a 35-point bonus.

You can either play this game against a computer, or play online and go head-to-head against players anywhere in the world. Either way, you can expect to have a fun and exciting challenge.

Probably the biggest factor in this dice game is whether or not you are able to get the 35-point bonus. Because of this, you should try and focus on the upper section in order to work toward that bonus.

Make sure to keep your chance section clear for as long as you can. It is nice to have a safety net that can catch you if you have a bad roll.

Every turn, you have three dice rolls. After your first roll, you can choose to hold dice. The dice you hold will not be part of your next roll. After three rolls, pick a category on the scorecard to lock in your points. If you aren't sure what each category means, mouse over the name to get more details.

Is Yahtzee similar to the Yacht Dice Game?

Besides a few small rule changes, Yahtzee and Yacht are very similar games. If you have a decent understanding of the game Yahtzee, then learning how to play Yacht will be no problem at all.
