Amevi has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

It is not necessary to live, it is necessary to sail; This is the firm belief of Italian design company Nuvolari & Lenard. No stranger to high-profile yacht design, the studio has stamped its distinctive style on a number of the ocean’s biggest and brightest.

Her interior design is by Alberto Pinto.

AMEVI yacht’s interior was completed in 2007 by Alberto Pinto , a renowned interior designer whose works can be seen in private residences, office buildings, hotels, and jets.

He has collaborated with leading manufacturers such as Amels, Lurssen, Abeking & Rasmussen, ISA Yachts, and others.

She features a grand sky lounge that offers panoramic views with a large terrace to access the sun decks and the heated swimming pool.

Many of her opulent details are not usually seen on other yachts of her time, including a cinema, gym, massage room, hairdressing salon, helipad, and stabilized pool table.

Specifications

The AMEVI yacht features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure with teak decks. She is propelled by twin diesel MTU (16V 595 TE70) 16-cylinder 4,647hp engines that enable her to cruise comfortably at a speed of 14 knots. 

On the other hand, her maximum speed can reach up to 18 knots with a range of up to 6,334 nautical miles from her 294,000-liter fuel tanks. 

She is equipped with at-anchor stabilizers that provide exceptional comfort levels for guests. Additionally, she can store around 80,000 Litres of freshwater for everyone’s consumption on board. 

She was constructed compliant with the MCA and Lloyds Register ✠ 100 A1 SSC Yacht (P) MONO G6 +LMC UMS classification society rules.  

Last but not least, she is fitted with ‘zero speed stabilizers’  that increase onboard comfort when the yacht is stationary, especially when the water is rough. 

Accommodation

The AMEVI yacht can proudly accommodate 16 guests in 8 suites and an additional 22 staff in 10 cabins.

She comprises three VIP staterooms, one double cabin, and two twin cabins with large plasma screens on the highly desirable main deck. 

AMEVI’s owner’s suite features a full-beam design and is situated on the upper deck. It includes a lounge and private outdoor space with two jacuzzis.

She is equipped with a massive array of tenders, toys, and amenities, including diving equipment, surfboards, wakeboards, kneeboards, and water skis.

The AMEVI yacht exterior is designed by Nuvolari Lenard , the leading Italian yacht design studio which developed some of the world’s most impressive yachts.

She has beautiful modern lines and striking volumes that make her draw considerable attention wherever she docks.

She was bought for US$ 125 million and had an annual running cost of around US$ 10 – 12 million.

A General Description of Motor Yacht AMEVI

From the Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) yard in the Netherlands the AMEVI is 80 metre 262 (ft) in length. Ready for launch in 2006 the comparatively recent internal styling illustrates the merit of Alberto Pinto / Nuvolari & Lenard. Superyacht AMEVI is able to accommodate up to 18 people with 27 crew members. She is a recent full displacement yacht. This fantastic motor yacht has a helicopter pad capability. She can reach a maximum speed of 20 knots.

Luxury super yacht AMEVI is owned by a steel titan who is Indian by birth and the UK's richest citizen. M/Y AMEVI (Project Y701) was followed up by the super yacht ALFA NERO (Project Y701). AMEVI won the 2007 ShowBoats best Full-Displacement Motor Yacht Over 56 Meters in length.

New Build & Naval Architecture for Luxury Yacht AMEVI

Oceanco was the naval architecture company involved in the formal superyacht design work for AMEVI. Also the company Oceanco and Nuvolari - Lenard skillfully collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Alberto Pinto / Nuvolari & Lenard was charged with the overall interior ambience. the Netherlands is the country that Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) built their new build motor yacht in. After the official launch in 2006 in Alblasserdam the boat was delivered on to the happy owner after sea trials and testing. A beamy proportion is brought about with a widest beam (width) of 14.2 metres / 46.59 feet. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned from aluminium. In 2008 further refit work and modernisation was in addition performed.

Engines & Speed On M/Y AMEVI:

The 16V 595 TE70 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MTU. The main engine of the yacht gives 4680 horse power (or amevi kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The combined power for the yacht is therefore 9360 HP or 6980 KW. With respect to stabalisers she utilises Rolls-Royce Zero Speed Retractable.

Providing cabins for a limit of 18 yacht guests overnighting, the AMEVI accommodates them in style. Normally the vessel requires around 27 professional crew to maintain and sail.

The superyacht is 80 metres (262 ft) long with a moulded beam of 14.2 metres (46.6 ft) and can accommodate up to 16 guests and 22 crew members. With a gross tonnage of 2,310 tonnes, the yacht has twin MTU 16V 595 TE70 engines with a total power of 9,100 HP (6,800 kW). The yacht reaches a maximum speed of 18.5 knots or 34.3 kmph, with a cruising speed of around 14 knots or 26 kmph.
