ACCOMODATIONS: V-berth forward w/stowage, port-side single w/stowage, q-berth port, double berth stbd., enclosed head with hanging locker, chart table to port, galley to stbd., 2-burner propane stove, Adler-Barbour refrigeration, gimbaled stainless steel sink and stovetop, two hatches. CONSTRUCTION: Red fiberglass hull and fiberglass deck (Awlgrip in 2010), wheel steering, lifelines/gates, bow pulpit, swim ladder, bulb keel, skeg-hung rudder. I bought this boat brand new in 2013 and with full factory equipments that factory had to offer at the time. My wife does not like it so I ended up buying another 24' jet boat and I have to sell this one. It is currently at my slip at Washington Sailing Marina. I only sailed for one hour with my instructor and used the motor approximately less than 3 hours to run around a little bit and that was it. I spent most my time on my 24' jet boat. I enjoyed the time with this sailboat mostly on installing electronic equipments, stereo system, bow thruster. That's right, I installed Sideshift bow thruster to help make it much more maneuverable and easier to moving in and out of slip under any condition. She has a 5' Draft, and dual integral keel cooling. There is lots of headroom for a six-footer. This is a big, stable, tough, easily maintained, operator-friendly boat with a great deck layout, and a capacity to cruise anywhere in the world. Design anticipates easy crewing by a couple, and single-handed under sail or power is a viable option.Actual Condition It is reported, due to health reasons, the owner has suspended the project. All major steel construction has been completed, including grinding of all hull welds. The ship has also been sandblasted and painted. There are well over 6,000 hours of construction into the Chinese Junk at this point. The hull, deck, bulwark, and cabin plate are high-strength low-alloy Corten Steel. The frames, keel shoe and t-bar are A-36. All steel is certified, and from USA Plants. All plates were cut with plasma to preclude any warping. All welding was done with modern, inverter-based welding machines. The hull plate welds were triple welded with very high-quality filler metal. Generally, the interior welds were made with a dual shield mig process, and the exterior welds were made with a traditional stick process. The rest of the work necessary to complete the project is primarily inside carpentry, plumbing, sail making and wiring. Almost all major parts, such as portlights, shaft, propeller, hatches, windlasses, masts, rigging, etc. are ready to bolt on to the hull now that the sandblasting and painting have been completed. Jefferies CEO sold $65 million in stock to buy a yacht from a client

• Jefferies CEO Rich Handler sold $65 million in company stock to buy a luxury yacht.
• He's said to be buying a Westport 164 from his friend Tilman Fertitta, a Jefferies client.
• Handler said on Wednesday that he wasn't planning any more stock sales.

Jefferies CEO Rich Handler sold $65 million of his stock in the company to buy himself a gift — a luxury yacht.

Handler sold 1.5 million shares , or 7% of his holdings, to purchase a "personal boat and to pay tax obligations," the investment bank said in a Wednesday statement.

"My sale of shares today was a gift to myself and my family, and I do not intend to sell any further shares," Handler said in the statement. "I remain extremely bullish on Jefferies."

A source told the Financial Times the boat was a Westport 164 yacht and was being purchased from Handler's longtime friend Tilman Fertitta, a Jefferies client.

Fertitta is the billionaire CEO of the hospitality company Landry's and owns the Houston Rockets, an NBA team. The two men jointly own Landcadia Holdings, a blank-check company.

Jefferies said in the statement that Handler, who's been with the bank since 1990, had received about 70% of his pay in the form of company shares. The bank said he'd previously sold shares only for tax purposes and charity.

Jefferies didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.

Investors often view executives' stock sales as signaling a lack of company confidence, so any sales are carefully messaged.

In October, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said he would sell 1 million of his 8.6 million shares, his first sale since becoming CEO in 2006. The filing announcing the planned sale said that Dimon chose to sell the stocks "for financial diversification and tax-planning purposes" and that he "continues to believe the company's prospects are very strong."

Dimon sold the first of the sets of shares in February for $150 million and sold the remainder earlier this month, pocketing $183 million in total proceeds.

Where to Buy a Home in Moscow in 2024

The growth in suburban house prices in 2021 can be as high as 15%. This prognosis was voiced by the participants of Moscow’s real estate market. Housing near Moscow has already gone up in value by 7%, and before the end of the year, this number is quite likely to rise by another 2–3%. When purchasing homes in Moscow, Russia, a good rule of thumb is to select houses within an 18.6-mile (30 km) radius from the center of Moscow. This ensures you will get a well-developed infrastructure, and that the chosen location will be replete with hospitals and schools.
