Had my daughter's Bridal shower here and the place is just beautiful! Everything worked out perfectly, and you don't need to be a member.

Was here for a wedding, really lucked out with the weather but the venue is beautiful. The service was very good as well.

Above average marina. I've had my boats docked at several of "the best" marinas in CT through the years. For the most part this Club is above average, although not the absolute best. But neither were the other marinas otherwise I would still use them. I'm not picky but I do like high quality and professionalism. There are a lot of good things to say about this Club. The rather small drawbacks are what made me rate them as a 4 Star. There is no shame in that. By the way, if you have to ask the prices, then you cannot afford it. This is for high end clientele. And it's what I, for one, prefer. I don't park my Aventador just anywhere (if you have to look it up, please don't touch it. Thanks). I come here to relax and enjoy my free time. I appreciate keeping the undesirables at bay. Thank you.

I attended a wedding over the weekend and it was great. The venue is adjacent to the water and the grounds are beautiful. The food was excellent and the waitstaff was friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a gathering.

I went to a wedding event here. The scenery is beautiful. And the venue itself is very nice. The staff was great and accommodating. My only really complaint is that the dining room needs better acoustics. It was really hard to talk and hear. This could easily be fixed with acoustic paneling. I would recommend brides consider this when selecting this location.

Facilities and Capacity

Guilford Yacht Club offers beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces for your wedding celebration. The ballroom can accommodate up to 180 guests and offers vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and expansive windows with breathtaking views. The Great Lawn and flagstone terrace are perfect for outdoor, tented weddings and can accommodate up to 350 guests.

Services Offered

Guilford Yacht Club offers all the services you could desire for your wedding day. Careful thought and attention to detail allow the event planning team at this venue to help you bring the wedding of your dreams to life. Your site fee will depend on the season and day of the week of your wedding. This fee covers five hours for your event, two hours for setup, and one hour for breakdown. An on-site event manager will attend to your needs and you will have the use of tables and chairs. Other services include:

Review for Guilford Yacht Club-PRIVATE

This place is in first class condition. Also very well protected. I'm a transient, but I talked to some of the season berth folks and they love it. Only caution is water depth, call Scott ahead of time as the channel in has some skinny spots. You can walk to town, and town is worth walking to. Restaurants, coffee shops, museums, town green, hardware store, book store, etc. I'll be back.
