Joseph and Britta grew up a world apart but ended up finding each other and true love in the beautiful Virgin Islands. He grew up on a small family farm in the Pacific Northwest and she grew up with her toes in the sand on the white sandy beaches of Florida. Before moving to the Caribbean, Joseph received degrees the Culinary Arts and Patisserie and Baking from Western Culinary Institute in Portland Oregon. In 2009, he packed his bags for the islands where he immediately bought and resided on his new boat in the Virgin Islands. Britta came to St Croix as a PADI dive instructor in 2005. She worked in local dive shops and in the hospitality industry, while taking advantage of the best scuba diving in the Caribbean. She honed in her skills as being one of the premiere dive guides and instructors while living in St Croix. While the couple lived in St John Britta spent time aboard a 36´ Pearson- ´Kiote´ offering day sailing excursions the shallow reefs that fringe the East end of the island. Her love of all things underwater is apparent by her enthusiasm to share her discoveries of animal and plant life while on your water adventures! Whether you´re a beginner snorkeler or advanced scuba diver, her knowledge and expertise always delivers an amazing custom designed experience for everyone. Before embarking on the New Luxury Catamaran ´Grace´, Joseph and Britta were on the 50ft Catamaran ´Dianna Rose´ for 3 years and worked in tandem, perfecting a concierge experience with world class cuisine and custom tailored scuba and snorkel adventures for all levels. Proud to partner with the Virgin Island community, Joseph and Britta take a lot of pride in buying local. These key relationships with farmers and fisherman has elevated their status as having the freshest ingredients on board at all times and has been a key to their success. Prior to ´Dianna Rose´, Joseph spent 5 years aboard 120´ Broward Motor Yacht ´Freedom´ as chef perfecting the art of fine cuisine adapting the premiere culinary French ideology of ´Mise en Place´ within the luxury yachting experience. Our extensively trained dynamic duo, Captain/Chef - Joseph and his First Mate/Dive Instructor/Mermaid - Britta are excited to take you away on a beautiful journey aboard ´Grace´. She´s a brand new impeccable 2020 52´ Lagoon Catamaran and is ´The Grand Madame´ like no other in the islands. ´Grace´ is the perfect Trifecta: World Class Sailing in Luxury Accommodations + Superb Cuisine coupled with Incredible Water Adventures while surrounded by the Beautiful Virgin Islands = The Best Luxury Yachting Experience. Grace and her crew will surely Bless you with Memories of a Lifetime. We look forward to you joining us and Sharing a Magical Sunset in the Beautiful Virgin Islands. Our third trip and keeps getting better and better! So much fun in the water everyday, fabulous food, amazing cocktails and great company. Thank you for opening you floating home to us. Your hospitality continues to amaze us. We can´t wait to see you soon! Dennis and Maureen

It´s easy to rave about the incredible food, the awesome drinks, and all the endless adventures that you both provide every day, every hour! But what keeps our family coming back is the joyous laughter, the gentle gibing, and the shared stories which accompany every trip. We don´t feel like we have hired a crew, but rather we feel like we are visiting family or dear friends who welcome us into their home and share their lives with us for a passing week. We know the week is filled with hard work, but it never feels that way to us. You shower us with love, care and the joys of island life with joy and enthusiasm. We cannot wait to host you in CA or Cabo when you come through. Much Love Julia, Katya, Chloe and Sarah

Thank you for an amazing week! All of us were impressed with the off the charts level of service and experience you both provide on Grace. We are so grateful to have found you! From the minute we stepped on the boat and over served ourselves with Britta´s rum punch until the last supper, you both treated us to some of the finest dining and cocktails we will ever experience. March 2022 USVI Charter

Britta, Joseph, From sunup to sundown, you have been there for us. You have held our hand underwater, you have fed us meals worthy of Julius Caesar, you have turned down our beds, fluffed up our pillows, freshened our linens for a good night sleep. You have worried about our towels being dry and rolled up to perfection, lit up our evening with lovely light and flickering candles of different colors and checked up on us on the high seas as family would. Joseph for us you have grated, sliced, chopped, steamed, blanched, roasted and sprinkled, served us succulent unforgettable meals along with incredible wines in dazzling glassware, meals infused with finely chopped herbs, but mostly with passion!! Aboard Grace we traveled in space from island to island, culinarily from France to Italy, to Mexico and in time from our stressful world to the original world, one in sync with nature with its soothing rhythms and iridescent colors. We have floated admist the coral to a place where days of the week don´t matter. We are now disembarking a different family, our bellies filled with creme fraiche, our minds teeming with family bonding times and unforgettable souvenirs and our souls purer and freer. We leave behind our pinky fingerprints, UNO shouts, tubing screams and a colony of crumbs, a testament to Joseph, the most wonderful chef and Britta, the best hostess in the world. We hope you will remember us as we will remember you. A magical week, suspended in time. One of a kind... With much appreciation, Earl, Caroline, Jack, and Bianca

Dear Joseph and Britta, Thank you for giving us the most amazing Caribbean experience. From the moment we stepped aboard Grace, we have been blown away by the two of you! The effortless way you welcomed us, took our shoes, gave us rum punch and set us free from all the trappings of our busy lives set the tone for one of the most amazing weeks of our lives! We loved the incredible food snorkeling, diving, and paddle boarding, friendship, laughs and stories we all shared. Thank you for taking us out of our comfort zones... Kori spent so much time on the water, Bill never threw up, Michelle scuba dived for the first time, Sue rode out the ´sporty´ ride over from St. croix, Sean appreciated the great dive after 2 years of lockdown, and Shelton snorkeled with and without the scooter and found a barracuda and eagle Ray! May the Grace always ´Hoist the sails of choice to Harness the winds of Joy!´ Love, Shelton and Michelle Bill and Kori Sue and Sean

Dear Britta and Jospeh, Thank you both so very much for a wonderful week aboard Grace. The experience you provided us with in every respect, sailing, culinary, service, friendliness, quality far exceeded our expectations. You guys have a quality life, and you were kind enough to share that way of living with us for one week. I hope our family, in particular our two children, can somehow absorb some of that quality approach to life as they enter adulthood and choose their own paths forward. Thanks for everything and we hope to see you again soon on Grace. Sincerely yours, Eve PS we might forget to mention Zoe, her sweetness and playfulness throughout the trip! Thank you both for the best possible Spring Break ever. The amazing desserts, frozen drinks, and tubing made up for the seasickness. I never really liked boats before Grace! Thank you so much for a super fun week! -Bianca

January 2022 USVI Charter

To say Brita and Joseph were perfect was an understatement. They are beyond perfect!! They´re two professionals that are masters at their trade. In reality they are working non stop to ensure that their clients are taken care of and happy. However, they make it look so easy and at times you have to stop and wonder if they are magicians. They have so much to do during a charter and their passion shines through constantly!!! I may also mention Zoey, who we all adored and loved!! She made it easier for all of us dog lovers who missed our dogs so much!! We may have worn her out with all of our fetch games with her favorite squirrel. I can´t imagine ever having a crew that would beat Brita and Joseph and for that reason, we will continue to book with them exclusively in the future. -Andrea

Britta, Joseph, and Sweet Zoey Thank you so much for the most memorable week in beautiful paradise! You both work so hard to make the experience phenomenal-and you make it looks so easy! The food and wine was world class and the (honestly) best I have had the pleasure to put in my belly :) So relaxing and we cannot wait to come back. May calm winds always be at your back! Memories that will always make me smile. Many thanks for cooking, drinks, dive, guiding, adventures and making each day special. -Travis Dear Mr. Joseph and Ms. Britta, Thank you for a fantastic last vacation before college. I will always remember napping, catching lobsters and pokémon´s, wake boarding, and singing ´Bocephus´ as we caught tarpon. I´m sorry for not staying close on that on one dive and I´m grateful for all of the tips that have made me a better diver already. I will miss y´all and Zoe and I hope our paths cross again sometime... -Kai We are humbly grateful for each beautiful experience over the past 10 days . Joseph, Britta, and Zoey, ´Thank you´ seems so inadequate to express what you so joyously give your guests aboard your beautiful home. The Grace is truly an amazing resort on the water. The Grace herself is just so beautiful, but the true cherish of you´re home lives in you three. Your generous hospitality made us instantly feel at home and then the real magic revealed itself. Joesph culinary experience is beyond description and was a delightful experience three times a day. Thank you Joseph for your amazingly, delicious creations. We have never in our lives eaten so well. Britta, you are the warmest, most attentive hostess I´ve ever been pampered by. Your delicious beverages always arrived in our hands before we even asked and they were always perfect. Thank you especially for my morning coffee :) And Zoey, you are one unforgettable little mate. Thank you for sharing your toys, smiles and kisses. Without exception, this was our most relaxing, enjoyable and memorable vacation. We can wait to come silk with you again. Love, Allan and Marty

March 2020 BVI Charter

Britta, Joesph and Zoey, What can I say, but WOW! AMAZING! OVER THE TOP! BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for such a wonderful trip. You have wowed us with you expertise for food and fun. God provided you with the beautiful backyard and given y´all the gift of service and hospitality. God is smiling on you both because you excel at your gifts. Joseph, you have the talent to cook at any place in your heart desires, but woking side by side with your love has to be the best choice of all. Enjoy all of your sunrises and sunsets, together. Big Hugs, Motley And Britta - Keep that sweet attitude. You can´t have rainbows without a little rain.

Dear Britta and Joseph, Oh WOW! What a glorious 7 days in the BVI. Everyday was wonderful from sun ups to after sun downs. The Anegada visit was a slice of heaven. The two of you were extraordinary hosts in everyday shape and form. The dinning experience on the Grace was almost beyond comprehension. So much that we took photos of every serving. The energy, efforts and shill that was put into every presentation was clearly evident. We would give the experience a ten plus rating and the cuisine - five starts - plus one! Thank you both for everything. It was truly most memorable. All The Best! P.S. Thank you, Zoey!

January 2020 BVI Charter

I don´t know where to start - you´ve watched me journal our week day by day and I´ve exhausted my adjectives and superlatives - of course the BVI is a wonderful location, but as we saw the wind can be a fickle beast. Joseph steered us to only the best moorings and anchorages! Weather, what weather? All the while Britta is anticipating needs we did not know we had. And you both do it tirelessly and bright smiles. We really don´t know how you do it. Now, the food - well, let´s just say that we have eaten in some of the best restaurants all across the USA and you two consistently match or better them, from a Lagoon galley - just the two of you! No team of sous chefs. No brigade of prep cooks. Just you, Britta and Joseph and that ting galley. WOW! Again, I´m out of superlatives. I love beets for god sake - beets! They were amazing. This is the whole package, the real deal. We wish you both all the best - favorable winds following seas and all the success you´ve worked so hard to earn. Ken and Terri

Thank you fo the wonderful sail and terrific week aboard Grace. Weather, winds and itinerary were all favorable for a memorable trip to the BVI. Grace is perfect for your sailing adventure wherever your trip awaits you! Salon, berths, bridge and comfortable lounge locations made you feel at home once setting foot on her! Your culinary skills match your sailing expertise, we couldn´t wait for the next meal, anticipating how Joseph could top the last one. He never disappointed! Boat drinks excelled too! Thanks again for a great trip, the best I can say is we´ll be back! George and Pam

This trip greatly exceeded our expirations!

This trip greatly exceeded our expirations! Thank you Jospeh and Britta for the most amazing experience! Not only was it the best food and wine we have had in our lifetime, but it was truly the most wonderful crew, family and fires that make it so memorable. And we cannot forget Zoe, who is one of the sweetest and cutest golf - great at making you feel love and at home! We wish you all the best in your new venture and cannot thank you enough for inviting us for the maiden voyage! We love you! Scott and Nancy

We never imagined that the boat and team would exceed every possible standard.

Just back from the most amazing week of sailing the Virgin Islands with Joseph, Britta, and Zoie on the Grace. We expected things aboard to be great from the planning stages, but we never imagined that the boat and team would exceed every possible standard. I have to say - as a critic, with over a half-million readers on Trip Advisor - I make a point of being sure not to miss the negative. I´ve got practically nothing. The wind was a bit rough. The generator is a little noisy (still less than most hotel A/C units). That´s it. Let´s cut to the chase, the vessel is spectacular: clean, trim, comfortable for six and state-of-the-art. Despite unfavorable winds, we were taken to every place we desired and always found safe beautiful anchorages. Our cabins were well maintained and thoroughly modern. You´ll not find a nicer boat or more attentive service. Now, the food (the only thing that exceeded the boat) was the biggest surprise of all. Every meal we were served would stand up in any five-star restaurant on the planet. Each ingredient was fresh, properly cooked and seasoned: treated with the respect that goes with actually caring about what one puts on a plate. Which leaves only the value question. This is not an inexpensive holiday, but it is unprecedented service. Oh, yes, it´s worth it. If you want to eat and sail in style, I doubt it could get better - at any price. Many thanks to Joseph, Britta, and Zoie for an outstanding vacation. Cheers, to hoping they´ll have us back someday.

As they say Grace Awaits .....and we certainly are looking forward to next years trip!

What an amazing week aboard Grace in the Beautiful Virgin Islands!!! She is a brand new 52 ft. Lagoon Catamaran and has all the bells and whistles.....Including an amazing Chef /Captain Joseph and his First Mate / Mermaid / Scuba Dive Master/ Wife , Britta. And, of course, the Chief Morale Officer Zoie, who always greets you with a sweet smile and wag of her tail. If you’re a foodie, this is the right choice! Joseph’s cuisine is Delicious and Plated to Perfection with that special flair that only a true Chef can pull off. And Britta is an amazing Scuba Instructor and Dive Master. We had one experienced diver but three people that had never been diving so she gave them the introductory class and they went on their first dive the next day at Diamond Head. They all had an awesome experience and she made them completely comfortable with all the safety guidelines and equipment instructions. We also thoroughly enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, playing on the sea scooters and snorkeling! And the Big Lily Pad - “Grace Island” was a wonderful retreat for that mid afternoon cocktail! We can’t say enough about Grace and the Crew! It was a Simply Amazing Trip! Fun and Relaxing! As they say Grace Awaits .....and we certainly are looking forward to next years trip!

They are truly MASTERful.

Our ´Grace´ Adventure Surrounded by out chosen family and absolutely wonderful friends we were blessed to be on the Maiden Voyage of ´GRACE´. Captain and Chef Joseph Stiles accompanied by his wife, hospitality guru and dive master Britta made this trip fo much more than a vacation. The culinary experiences on Grace might only be rivaled at the finest restaurants in France and Italy. The caring, attentive service something you hope to find at a 5 star hotel. They are truly MASTERful. After some thought provoking conversations with our dear friend Jean it occurred to me that being on a ship is a remarkable parallel to LIFE! From Astern, one can only look back to where you have been (the past) From the Bow, one can only look forward/ahead of things to come (the future) From the Port and Starboard one see´s the fleeting current that is the current circumstances from which you choose to learn from the past to positively influence your future. Joseph, Britta and Zoe, Thank you so much for this adventure and lesson. Raymond and Jill

Best Catamarans Over 50 Feet

Best Catamarans Over 50 Feet

All kinds of high-end luxury sailing you could ever imagine can be experienced on Catamarans Over 50 Feet. It just depends on the boat at hand. Why spend your holiday cruising or liveaboard on a monohull when comfortable catamarans exist?

A catamaran is quite different from a regular monohull. Catamarans are typically designed with two equal-sized hulls and derive their stability from their wide beam; unlike a one-hulled boat deriving stability from a loaded undersurface.

The average catamaran is 38-47 feet in size. Usually, they are equipped with four large cabins with double or queen-sized beds, each cabin having an in-suite head. These vessels, originally designed for fishing, have, over the years, evolved and have become very popular in recent years. Lately, many boatbuilders are focusing more and more on building large catamarans over 50 feet as more and more people are starting to liveaboard and put more emphasis on comfort and luxury than their sailing performance.

In 2011, the biggest catamaran ever was built by Pendennis Shipyard in the UK, at 145 feet in length! It is equipped with a trampoline, a jacuzzi and can accommodate 12 guests in 5 cabins. This boat is designed to accommodate all the luxuries and adornments that can be found on a watercraft.

Here are the best sailing catamarans over 50 feet, in no particular order.

Length: 50 Feet

Price: From $500k to $1.5 Million USD On the Used Market

Back in 2019, the Lagoon 50 was awarded the best multihull of Sail Magazine. A product of the world’s largest boat manufacturer Lagoon, established in 1984, is majorly famous for the design and construction of cruising catamarans, which infuse top-notch designs, upscale comfort, and great sailing performances to one’s boating experience. Every detail is carefully thought out to establish novel and spacious architecture with a homely ambiance.

It’s a perfect balance between the model Lagoon 450 and the lofty 52. The Lagoon 50 has an encompassing view, generous volumes with a self-tacking jib, and a shorter mast for easily simplified maneuvers. It has two cockpits, one large one facing the sea and the other for seating at foredeck or on a deck chair. The hulls being large enough to contain more than 2 cabins, you can have up to six cabins. Italian agency Nauto Design Studio set a standard for their innovative interior designs every time. This vessel boasts of a unique brand signature, providing increased performance and a detailed wood finish to be fitted for the owner. Unconventional lines are linked with luxury, versatility, and a layout of technical options to cater to everyone’s needs.

Length: 52 Feet

Looking for something contemporary and luxurious? Lagoon 52 takes the cake in that way. This boat signified a new stage in the design of cruising catamarans. The Lagoon 52 is a product of the prolonged conversations between Lagoon’s customary VPLP, Nauto design agency, and the Lagoon design department. It comes in two versions: The Lagoon 52 FlyBridge, known as Lagoon 52F, and Lagoon 52 SporTop.

The combination of onboard comfort with its sailing performance is perfect and in sync. The wide side decks allow easy movement onboard. The cockpit and saloon also offer spacious living areas. The vertical bows of the boat have a diamond-shaped appearance with diagonal shaped hull and a lifting deck house.

The boat is easily accessible and safe thanks to the open rear skirts. Most of the features in this luxurious watercraft can be found in the aforementioned Lagoon 50. It has a perfect blend for its easy use, a comfy, elegant interior, amazing space, and lighting. You’re sure to get your money’s worth with the LAGOON 52.

Privilege Series 5

Price: Around $1-1.5 Million USD

At 50 feet, this boat is quite marvelous and a privilege to spend your time in as a cruiser or owner. The Privilège Series 5 is the world’s first 50 feet sailing catamaran. This vessel was built by Privilège Marine, a French company based in Les Sables-d’Olonne, France. They are famous for building premium luxury catamarans and designed by French Naval Architect Marc Lombard. The Privilège Series 5 is equipped with three or four double and a full-sized owner’s cabin located in the yacht’s center. It’s a lightweight boat at 48500 pounds and could go up to 52900 depending on the size.

It has great customization options, and it can be designed to suit the boat owner’s taste. The attention to detail on the boat is nothing short of perfection as the interior design, woodwork, safety measurements laid out by the boat’s design, aesthetics, ventilation, etc., was thought out good. The vessel’s finishing is really phenomenal as everything has a high level of craftsmanship.

Privilege Series 5

Leopard 50L

Length: 50 Ft 6 In

Price: Around $1 Million USD

The Leopard 48, which was launched in 2012, was one of the most popular cruising cats ever designed. But the design was beginning to become dated, even as new orders kept coming in. So, Robertson & Caine, who build the Leopard cats, set out to improve on what was already great. The new 50 was their answer and comes with many innovations that will make owners happy. We test sailed the 50L last winter in Florida. The L version has the optional lounge on top of the hardtop over the cockpit. Unlike some cats with flying bridges and lounges up high, the 50L doesn’t feel like a layer wedding cake.

The steering station is a traditional raised helm to starboard, and the lounge is just up a few stairs from there. The helmsman is in contact with those in the main cockpit and those in the lounge. Out sailing, we got the 50L up to 10 knots in a good breeze, so the boat is fast. It is also commodious and will make a very comfortable home for a family or a charter party.

Length: 58 Feet

Price: From $450k To $1.5 Million on the Used Market

Leopard 58 is a superb layout from Leopard, skilfully modeled by award-winning designers Robertson & Caine. This extravagant catamaran is suited to the prolific and innovative catamarans that have made Leopard famous while still giving out fresh features and various design options.

This expansive FlyBridge takes space to a whole new dimension as it is larger than its siblings with their award-winning aspects. A Flybridge is basically a version of catamarans that affords you the luxury of outdoor space, come rain or shine. Leopard 58 is more about space, bragging about 750 square feet in just the saloon alone. It gives you amazing comfort and is naturally luminous. With an open plan layout, the galley available means the meal making and interaction will be easy. Highly recommended for a family outdoor gathering.

Popularly called the Seawind 52 because of its 52 feet size. The Seawind 52′ 1600 is designed by world-renowned architects Reichel Pugh. Like the Lagoon 52, it’s a perfect balance for onboard comfort and performance sailing and sea safety. Perfect for sailors or boat lovers who are looking for a little extra.

This catamaran sets a standard for offshore sailing because of its simple sailing methods, large open cockpit space, and twin protected helms. Equipped with a three or four-cabin design that affords the owner’s cabin expansive living space, great storage, high aspect riders, daggerboards, an elegant fit/finish, and infused carbon-reinforced construction.

Seawind 1600

Price: Around $1 Million USD New

The new Seawind 1600 has been in the works for a while and has finally arrived on the market. The Reichel Pugh design is a departure from the more conservative looks of the other Seawinds and embraces a very Euro-style with plumb bows, hard chines, a swept-back cabin, and a large open cockpit with helm stations on both sides. The boat is a pure performance cruiser that was conceived as a blue water voyaging boat for a family. At 52 feet, it falls within the size range that an experienced couple can handle, so it would make a great platform for a couple to explore the world. The 1600 like all of the Seawinds and Corsairs, are built in Vietnam.

Nautitech 542

Length: 54 Feet

Price: Around $1.2 Million USD New

Asides from the positions of the helm, Nautitech 541 and 542 are very similar. Nautitech 542 is large and luxurious. The sail controls at the helm stations for easy sailing maneuvers and perfect for all weather conditions. The interior was designed by French designer Franck Darnet. Xquisite X5

Length: 51 Feet

Price: Around $1.5 Million USD

Once you have met your first Xquisite X5, you will never forget its absolute distinctive looks and almost space-traveling styling. The whole look of the boat, with its large reverse curving arches and cat’s eye windows, says right out loud that you need to pay attention. The boat itself is a very modern design with a classic and comfortable interior. It sails better than most of its peers in the 50-foot range and is set up cleverly so one watchstander can hand, reef, and steer all from the protected comfort of the raised steering station. Tomas and Sara, who build the boats in South Africa, are veteran cruisers and owned hull number one of the X5 line before taking over the company. Their attention to detail and the innovations they have incorporated into the boats all stem from their time living aboard and blue water sailing.

Privilege 615

The 615 is a combination of simplistic and superior design with an outstanding crew, results in the ultimate luxury Caribbean cruising experience. The impeccable elegance of the interior with a lavish owner’s suite and the boat’s perfect wood quality are two great reasons to make you get the boat. The freedom to choose a four or five-double cabin is another, depending on the size of the family.

Followed closely by its outstanding exterior, you’re sure to fall in love with it on sight, from the cockpit to the foredeck. Balance 526

Length: 52ft 6in

Price: From $1.3 to $1.6 Million USD New

Multihull impresario, dealer, and broker Phil Berman (The Multihull Company) has sold more multihulls over the last 30 years than just about anyone. His latest project has been the development of the Balance line of performance cruising cats. The queen of the line is the Balance 526 that was introduced a few years ago and has proven to be a very successful player in the 50-foot plus segment of the cat market. Built in South Africa by noted composite experts, the 526 offers a well-conceived combination of great sailing performance and luxury living in a boat that can be handled by an experienced couple.

The boat has plenty of innovations, among them a helm that can be tilted up so you can steer from the raised helm station or tilted down so you can steer from the protection of the cockpit. Very cool. The design does not take any particular element to the “extreme.” Instead, Berman and his crew have sought to provide a boat that is truly well balanced in all aspects. And, they’ve done it.

This was a trip of a lifetime! Our captain was Theodore and I can’t say enough about his knowledge, professionalism and care of our party of 8. The catamaran exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed the various areas to relax and enjoy the trip. But I truly think it is the captain that can make or break a trip. We were sailing in May so weather is variable. He consulted with us about our “must sees” and made great suggestions to maximize our time through the Cyclades. I ended up enjoying the smaller islands and his knowledge of the people, restaurants and history was second to none. We swam, paddle-boarded, explored historical sites and enjoyed great food. My grandson had his birthday at home and when we called him he even found music for us to sing to him. I felt like he did a great job on the islands exposing us to food we hadn’t tried and making great suggestions. The yacht sailing trip on the Ace of Diamonds and with our captain is a memory all of us will cherish. Thanks again for making our trip so special.

My first trip to Greece was incredible and I’m so glad my friends and I chose The Ace of Diamonds. Our crew Theo and Stefanía were amazing. They made us feel right at home with and created a trip that was perfect based on what we wanted to do. We were able to see so many different places and always felt safe and taken cared of. I would have liked to Stay another week if time allowed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just got off Ace of Diamonds with Theo (captain) and Stefania (hostess) who were an amazing duo to lead our trip. Theo's knowledge of the Cyclades and command of the catamaran were a huge asset. Stefania was a great cook, had local treats on board daily, and made restaurant recos and reservations whenever we asked. And, both of them were so pleasant to be around which is important on a weeklong trip in close quarters. Working with Yacht Sailing (Eugene) prior to the trip was easy and the entire operation at the marina was impressive. I highly recommend using Yacht Sailing for a trip through the islands of Greece.

This vacation was one of my favorites! I had no idea what to expect but I was amazed every day! The catamaran was wonderful, and it was luxurious in every way. There were so many places beyond the en suite cabins to hang out and enjoy each day and night. Every single person we met at this company, from the owner to Theodore, our phenomenal captain, was so gracious and helpful. It was clear they wanted us to have the best experience possible and would literally do anything in their power to make our lives easier and/or better! Theodore listened to what we wanted to see and experience, and then went out of his way to provide that and more! He heard that we wanted some archaeological experiences so he helped us hike up to the temple of Poseidon. At a different port, Theodore arranged to rent a car and he drove us 30 minutes outside of Nafplio to an archaeological site with a prearranged guide to lead us on a personal tour!! Combined with his amazing chef skills we were simply so lucky to have him as the captain of not just the yacht, but also our vacation!!

Due to a last minute change of holiday plans, we only booked this trip at the end of June. The week with Theodore and Stefanie surpassed all of our expectations. It was simply fab. It’s a very quick and straightforward transfer from Athens airport. Theodore the captain expertly planned our route with an eye on the winds for the week, to ensure we had good sailing but to lovely port towns and beaches. A warning! Theodore is not a good predictor of the time it will take to get to each place! Apparently he is called Three Hour Theo, but it never takes three hours. No matter. It was fun. Stefanie cooks great food, especially her yummy Souvlaki. We were well fed and couldn’t have asked for more from our lovely hostess. For a family holiday, we thought they were both great! Even though they introduced us to some strange Greek rules for Uno. What a surprise, unfortunately Theodore won that round (I won the first two, just saying). The only downside to our wonderful week, was the theft of some Haribo, Not pointing any fingers (Theo) but it was almost a firing offence according to the kids and some sea sickness that was dealt with swiftly and sympathetically. Stefanie was amazing with recommending ice cream spots and restaurant recommendations. The islands we visited were spectacular and we saw two turtles and a pod of dolphins and thousands of tropical fish. Our family of four (two girls aged 11 and 10) absolutely loved it. We have no hesitation in recommending this trip, this company, Ace of Diamonds (our boat) and most especially our Captain Theodore and hostess Stefanie. You won’t regret booking this trip. We will be back

We were 2 couples with Great Expectations coming into this trip and they were completely exceeded. I'm sure every experience with this company is amazing but I cannot imagine this trip with our Skipper Theodore and host Stefania, aptly dubbed "Stefania The Great." Theodore's proficiency managing the sailing duties, logistics, recommendations and planning were incredible. Transports and reservations were arranged in such an efficient manor that we were able to completely maximize our experience. Stefania's cooking and exceedingly affable nature were so appreciated. The two of them are innately designed for their positions. As an inquisitive person by nature Theo took the time to explain so many details in regards to the logistics of how he operates the boat. The water toys were amazing, the views phenomenal and the banter and camaraderie were unsurpassed. The knowledge of the local culture, economy, history and cuisine were far above and beyond what we could have imagined. My wife and I are leaving this trip with two new friends and adding a beautiful chapter to our book of life experiences. We would highly recommend this trip and I can assure you Theo and Stefania would be aptly adept at accommodating any family, couples or singles looking for a once in a lifetime Mediterranean sailing experience. We are leaving with minds filled with knowledge, hearts filled with gratitude and a few extra deserved pounds compliments of the culinary experience. Yamas!

We had such a wonderful time and experience on our boat "The Ace of Diamonds". Theadore our captain was the epitome of the very best guide, information provider, language interpreter, historical knowledge and over all knowledge of everything sailing. We would recommend him to anyone wanting to sail in Greece. Our group is going to plan another trip to a different area with captain Theodore as we found him to be so fun to be with and share our evening dinners with. Maria and Eugene also were very accommodating in planning everything prior to boarding to disembarking and arranging all transportation needs. Cheers from all of us to you captain Theodore, our experience would not have been so wonderful without you!

What an incredible week! Our boat- Ace of Diamonds, was so fun. They only say I would travel through Greece. Our captain, Theo, was so knowable, amazing planner, and made the trip very special. Our hostess, Stefani, planned the best meals and was super detailed in making our week on the boat very special.

What to say about the week we spent with YachtSailing? AMAZING ALL AROUND. We were four couples from the US sailing on the Ace of Diamonds. Our skipper, Theodore, could not have been more expert in his sailing skills, more attentive to the safety and comfort of all on the catamaran, and was an overall delight to interact with. We discussed which islands we would like to visit and he made it happen. Our hostess, Stephania, was top-notch in cooking traditional Greek dishes for us to enjoy and made sure we had everything we wanted, picking up various treats in the evening for us at many of the islands. The entire team of YachtSailing works like a fine-tuned machine, starting with the initial inquiries one year prior to the trip and ending with disembarkation after a fabulous week of sailing. Every day of the sailing trip was an adventure, including the coves we stopped in for lunch and water sports, to the islands we docked at for the evenings. A highlight was the private tour Theodore set up for us on Delos. Also, just the simple joy of sailing with full sails up catching the wind while enjoying drinks with our friends on the sun-drenched bow is a memory none of us will ever forget. It was clear that the goal of everyone in the YachtSailing organization was to make this a joyous, carefree experience and they exceeded expectations on every level. I run out of superlatives to use when describing this magnificent experience! BRAVO YachtSailing!!

We just had the trip of a lifetime with Theodore and Stephanie on the Ace of Diamonds (June 3-9th). The Greek Islands on their own are exceptional, but what really put this trip over the top were our Skipper, Theo and our host, Stephanie (affectionally referred to for the rest trip as "Stephanie the Great." These two went so far above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable trip. Together they provided a very friendly, welcoming, relaxing and inclusive environment. Theo is so good at navigating the winds through the cyclades that he made every port entry look easy. His meticulous attention to detail was very apparent and had our entire crew sailing with ease. Stephanie was our host and to say she is an excellent cook would be an understatement. You will not find a better restaurant on the islands than what Stephanie will freshly prepare for you each day. You can genuinely tell Stephanie loves to provide the guests with great tasting dishes that are unique to the greek experience and most likely not something you have had back in your native country. I really hope our paths cross again!!! These are just two great people providing a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you both!

ACE OF DIAMONDS was exactly that! Had the best trip and most magical week. That was thanks to Theo and Stef who were the very best and took care of us so well! Theo was an amazing captain who navigated seas and all so well and Stef was the best cook and kept all perfectly together! I can’t thank them enough for the great experience and highly recommend them! Can’t wait for the next trip!!

Brilliant week on the Ace of Diamonds. Our captain and crew Theodor and Steph were fantastic hosts Swimming, relaxing and great food.

Just finished an amazing 7 day trip on the Ace of Diamonds with the incredible duo of Theodore and Stefanie! Theodore is an incredible skipper and navigated expertly through windy conditions and calm seas. We all felt safe and secure with Theodore at the helm. Stefanie is charismatic, fun, attentive, and a fantastic cook. She worked with the many food allergies and preferences seamlessly. I can’t say enough about what an amazing trip this was. The entire group (4 couples) loved the experience. For us - it was the best trip ever. Out only regret is that we didn’t do two weeks instead of one. Next time!

We recently sailed with Theo and Stephanie on the ACE of Diamonds to the Cyclades islands for a week with a group of friends for my 40th birthday. It was our first time having any sort of sailing experience like this so we weren't too sure what to expect. I must say it was an awesome experience and if we were to do it again we would definitely want to do it with Theo and Stephanie at Yacht Sailing. Theo, as the captain, made some excellent decisions along the way which I am confident kept us safe and gave us the best possible experience with the weather and sailing conditions in mind. He knew we had to get out to the further islands to avoid the serious impending rain event which kept a lot of people in the closer islands boat bound in rain for days. Instead we had no rain, idealic swim spots and great island experiences. The trade-off is that we did have some quite rough seas as we copped the prevailing northerly wind which is more common in July and August, so some of our team experienced sea sickness, but I'll take that as a bonding experience! The boat was excellent. We had 7 in our group plus Theo and Stephanie. There are so many places to hang out or sunbake that it was perfect for a group our size or even slighter bigger. Washing machines, aircon, full size fridges, coffee facilities, hair dryer, were all a bonus. One of the big surprises was Stephanie's cooking. She did an excellent job planning, preparing and cleaning up after all of the meals. The quality of her meals was better than most restaurants! We can't believe at one stage we were considering being on a smaller boat and not having a host. The amount of time required to plan, shop, prepare, clean-up, and negotiate on tasks related to meals would have seriously detracted from our experience with a group this size. So if you're questioning whether to get a host, definitely do! Tips: 1. I would recommend to have some cash on you for the islands for taxis and for mooring fees (there are ATM's on the islands), 2. bring your own amenities onto the boat - soap, shampoo etc as they're not provided, 3. When planning for provisions, remember Stephanie can always go and get more - we underestimated the water requirements but overestimated the alcohol requirements. All in all it was a wonderful experience! I wish we were still there cruising around all the islands and I hope that we get to do it again one day :)

The boat was great and the crew were fantastic! Theodorus and Stefania were very tuned in to what our group wanted to do and took us to just the right places. They helped us make fond memories that will last a lifetime👍👍

This was the trip of a lifetime. We chartered a beautiful 52 foot catamaran ( Ace  of Diamonds) for one week with a captain and hostess. I’m a US citizen and I’ve never visited Greece. I was a little apprehensive about sending a large deposit to a business in a foreign country. Turns out I made the correct choice. Yachtsailing.gr is an outstanding organization. Their staff communicated very well with us (in English). The paperwork and emails were very clear about overall costs for the trip. No hidden fees. They delivered everything they promised and I couldn’t be more pleased with our captain and hostess. Their website provides a lot of information for clients and they were very prompt in answering our additional questions. If you are considering a charter of the size, I strongly recommend that you spend the extra money for the captain and hostess. It will pay for itself many times over. Not only did they manage all the boat/meal needs, but they provided lots of information about the islands we were visiting. Our captain knows all the hidden anchorages and we saw parts of Greece that others would certainly have missed. Our captain was also amazingly adept at finding port tie ups in the evening. Our hostess Anna provided us with an outstanding array of Greek meals per our request. I couldn’t be more pleased. The Covid rules mandated that we have Covid tests prior to returning to the US. The staff at yachtsailing.gr made sure that Covid testers were present for us upon our return to Athens at the end of the charter. Everything ran on time and it was all very smooth. Yachtsailing.gr is it top-notch organization. Thank you Eugene, Joanna, Theodore and Anna!

We are a family of 4 from New York who have taken many chartered sailing trips so our perspective is from experience. Since our initial call with Eugene, we felt comfortable with his professionalism and knowledge. The preparations were thorough, even in areas of Covid travel preparation, transportation, restaurants, and accommodations in Athens before our trip began.  The boat,  Ace  of Diamonds, was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed (including a great sound system for our music, strong AC, toiletries, etc). It was specially outfitted with extra comfortable lounging areas all over the boat. What made the vacation especially wonderful were Captain Theodore and our hostess, Evie. Theo is an incredibly qualified captain but also was always ready to give a history lesson or sailing lesson when we wanted it. His itinerary suggestions and restaurant choices were perfect - he knew the coolest and tastiest places to go! Always ready to switch up a plan if the winds changed or there was a more beautiful spot to swim. He was as serious about his responsibilities as he was ready to have fun. Evie is a master of Greek cuisine - always ready to feed us a delicious traditional Greek meal with a huge smile on her face. Her strapatsada for breakfast and her moussaka for lunch were AMAZING (along with everything else) and she surprised us with a dessert each night when we came back aboard after dinner. We loved being welcomed by her warm smile every morning with our coffee & tea prepared as we each liked it. We would bring Evie home with us if we could! They were both super fun and a pleasure to be with (and also gave us plenty of family time). Of all our sailing trips, YachtSailing was the most professional company to deal with, and Theodore & Evie were the best Captain/Hostess crew!

Theodore, our captain, and Stephania, our cook, on The  Ace  of Diamonds were both outstanding! Beautiful boat, great food. Theodore pointed us in the right direction always, arranged very good guides on our archeological adventures, and was a superb sailor….and a good guy. Stephania did a superb job feeding us with lots of fresh, yummy food., snd winning personality. The boat was spacious, clean, well designed, and very comfortable for our group of three couples. Arranging the week was easy and seamless with Eugenes help in the office too. An altogether wonderful trip.

This is a trip of a lifetime! It's luxury and adventure all wrapped up in one gorgeous bow! We rented the   Ace   of Diamonds and it was so clean and well-appointed. Captian Theodore and Nina took amazing care of us (7 people ranging from 9-75!!) . Trust Theodore to take you where he thinks you should go - we just went with the flow and were surprised and thrilled by each destination! We had some long sailing days but worth it for the islands we visited were spectacular. We are pescatarians and Nina accommodated our diet and made some delicious meals...SO MUCH FOOD!!! Take the recommendations they give you for restaurants and activities...we are very much a plan-your-own-adventure family so letting someone else take the lead was hard at first but we soon got used to it. My mom had a COVID scare on the boat so it got a little stressful the last day but Nina and Theodore were kind and professional through all the family drama! I highly recommend Yacht Sailing Greece, the   Ace   Of Diamonds, Theodore, and Nina!!!

Yacht sailing is a really fun way to spend time with family and close friends. Since you will be on a boat together for 7 days, you need to choose who is invited wisely. We enjoyed our time on the  Ace  of Diamonds and Captain Theodore was great. We felt safe, even sailing at 50 knots on one of the crossings, which was quite an adventure. The rest of the trip was relaxing. Lots of good food, swimming and just enjoying the scenery. We decided against a hostess since it would be one more person on the boat. Captain Theodore was more than ideal, he was there when we needed him but gave us plenty of space and privacy. We would do another trip with this company in the future.

We had the most amazing time sailing with Theodore and Stephania! Our extended family of 10 adults sailed for a week on the  Ace  of Diamonds to Kea, Syros, Kythnos, Hydra and Poros. Theo is hands down the best skipper my family has ever had. We have done several sailing trips around the world and this was by far the best crew and experience we have ever had. Theo loves to sail and his mastery of the craft was thrilling to watch every day! Theo, has wonderful knowledge of the Greek Islands and guided us to less traveled destinations where we felt like the only Americans. He set up amazing dinners in each port stop and we always felt safe and cared for on the boat. I’m so glad we visited Syros and Kythnos especially. Stephania prepared some of the best meals we’ve had in Greece and the local restaurants had some big time competition with her delicious lunches on the boat! She’s also a ray of sunshine and has such an easy and happy personality. Her infections smile and Theo’s dry humor are a great combination. You can tell they genuinely love their jobs and are good friends too. If you are considering sailing in Greece look no further. Book with Yacht Sailing and request to sail on the  Ace  of Diamonds with Theodore and Stephania. It will be the adventure of a lifetime for you and your family!

Words do not suffice in fully describing our magical week sailing the Cyclades on the   Ace   of Diamonds starting with the incredible customer service when we were researching and booking, through planning, boarding and debarking - Eugene, Alex, Maria and Ioanna are incredible. Every single aspect exceeded our expectations - from the crew to the accommodations to the beauty of the islands. Our skipper Cpt Theodor created an immediate sense of confidence and professionalism and throughout the week he generously shared his immense knowledge of, and contagious passion for sailing (even with our relentlessly annoying questions!). And Stephania, our wonderful charming hostess made every meal a delightful tasting of Greek cuisine (as well as accommodating our request for higher waves and bluer water!). The catamaran was very spacious and comfortable for the 8 of us with many sun and shade lounging options, and each bay and port brought opportunities for exploring, dining, swimming and adventuring. A trip of a lifetime which we will never forget. S&K, R&J, D&D, J&J

I have wanted to take a trip like this for over a decade and at the end of August a group of friends and I chartered the “ Ace  of Diamonds” for a week. The experience was absolutely incredible. Everyone with Yacht Sailing Greece was professional and attentive from the beginning. I loved how up front they were with all costs and expectations. We originally reserved a smaller boat but were asked if we wanted to upgrade a few days before because the bigger boat was available, all at no added cost! Theo, our skipper, and Stephanie, our hostess, made sure we had a wonderful time. They were present and attentive but were never intrusive on our group times. Stephanie was a fantastic cook and some of our meals on the boat were better than ones in restaurants. There was a perfect mix of time spent in bays, just basking in the serene and perfectly clear water, and time spent in port. We loved every second of the trip and were not ready for it to end. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and would do this trip a thousand times over if my real life allowed. Trip of a lifetime!

We were absolutely thrilled with our experience on Ace of Diamonds with Skipper Theodore and Hostess Stefania! The beauty of the Cyclades, fabulous food, and perfect weather in September, had us all swooning. Theodore knew so many special coves for swimming and beautiful beaches, and took us to the perfect combination of islands we asked for and new places we would never have known to request. He’s clearly an expert sailor, and we felt reassured knowing he brought so much experience to the task. He’s an artist with the boat and snuck us into many a tight Marina for the perfect spot at every island. Stefania cooked some of the best food we’ve had in our lives—every morning and lunch, she magically produced super local ingredients and whipped up these amazing authentic Greek meals from scratch—from the most sublime yogurt and honey and fresh fruit, to the best lamb and greek salad and treats I’ve ever tasted. Together, Theodore and Stefanie made us feel so welcome and at home on the boat, and delivered amazing recommendations for dinner restaurants, going out dancing, and the best coffee spot everywhere we went. They were also a blast to hang out with and got along with all 10 of our friends—funny and always willing to share a great story, but also super thoughtful about giving us our space and privacy whenever we needed it. Truly could not have asked for two better guides to the amazing Cyclades. Shout out to Eugene and the ground support crew at Yacht Sailing who were so lovely to work with as we planned the trip beforehand—super professional, responsive and informative! Can’t wait to plan our next trip, we’re hooked!
