What if the allure of a new yacht made it something totally different?

Every detail of the Absolute Navetta 70 expresses the allure of a completely new model, starting from the dynamic and captivating appearance of the exteriors: the flybridge and cockpit terrace are much larger compared to those of other similar yachts. From the spacious terrace cockpit at the stern, where there is a third mooring station, a covered staircase leads up to the flybridge. Here one can enjoy moments of relaxation and socializing, taking advantage of the shade offered by the hard top, which can assume two distinct configurations depending on the customization chosen. It can, in fact, be openable if one opts for coverage through a sunshade, or fixed if one prefers the addition of solar panels, which are lightweight, efficient, flexible, and resistant to the effects of salt water. They are useful both while sailing and during port stops, improving the comfort of guests and crew on board. Absolute has always paid considerable attention to sustainability, even to the point of integrating this issue into the company ethos, which is characterized by a deep love and respect for the marine environment.

Its interiors are supremely sensual and seductive, with bleached wood, tones of white, grey and black, rounded corners on the furnishing accessories, and bronze detailing expressing a sleek and glamorous look. Freedom of movement is ensured by floor levels with a minimal use of steps, high ceilings throughout, and space-saving sliding doors. A sense of continuity is provided by the circular motif used for ceiling decor and light fittings. From all the interiors, vast windows establish a constant connection with the seascapes outside, in a perfect combination with the sophisticated design of the living spaces.

The flybridge of the new Navetta 70 offers a privileged setting, in two different versions A and B, from which to enjoy the infinite spectacle of the sea. It feels like part of a far larger yacht, with its progression of seamlessly integrated areas, from the forward helm station, to a wet bar, outdoor galley and dining table for 6-8 guests in the shade offered by a retractable canopy, to the leisure area astern with designer furniture that can be rearranged to suit the occasion, whether aperitifs in the warm light of the setting sun, or a platform for late-night dancing. The same sense of generous space can be found on the cockpit terrace and the saloon with its free-standing table and large galley, enhanced by the use of stylish colours and the exquisite crafts skill of Italy’s finest artisans.

A new dimension of nautical living, 60 FLY – The Absolute Prisma – expresses all the innovation of our shipyard by implementing revolutionary solutions for a boat of this size.

The design is dynamic and captivating, with external lines enriched by elegant transparencies thanks to the new glazed balustrades; large windows surround the main deck, creating exclusive contrasts and giving the interiors unparalleled luminosity.

The aft cockpit is incredibly spacious and comfortable, does not include fixed structural elements, and can be furnished according to the actual use. You can simply choose between the various available configurations the one that most suits your onboard lifestyle and create spaces dedicated to the landscape, sociability, family, friends, and total freedom.

Thanks to two wide side staircases, it is possible to easily access a very large platform: close to the water and perfect to enjoy the sea. Because of the generous dimensions, there is enough room for a fixed section that offers a comfortable entrance to the crew cabin through a pantograph opening concealed in the transom.

A versatile and multifaceted yacht that actually offers multiple versions of herself, thanks to different configurations to furnish cockpit and salon, according to the actual use and for an ideal liveability in any occasion.

The interiors are designed with comfort in mind, furnished with elegance and embellished with the use of fine materials. Salon, galley and cockpit are adjacent and connected by a continuous design. The perceived sensation is of a large space without boundaries, enriched by modern lighting and entertainment systems, ergonomic air conditioning system and helm stations designed in detail, to be technologically advanced, comfortable and functional all at the same time. Absolute has always devoted particular attention to technological innovation, and the 60 FLY is proposed to the market with an equipment of the latest generation.

Below deck, you will find the owner’s quarter waiting for you: a full beam cabin without equals, with comfortable internal heights, exclusive furnishings and high-quality finishes. A refined and quiet environment, dedicated to absolute comfort and privacy, with a large walk-in closet, a sea view vanity and large side windows to feel totally immersed in nature. The real revolution? The owner’s quarter is at the bow, in a reserved area on a middle level between the main and lower decks, separated and far apart from any disturbances for the best experience on board.

The VIP cabin is, in all respects, comparable to a master cabin; queen size bed and plenty of space both for storage and for living, with en-suite bathroom with separate shower and elegant marble counters. The third cabin is equipped with two single beds, noteworthy are both the floor without steps and the ceiling height, comparable to the other cabins, not to mention a large window.

Finally, the crew cabin is directly accessible from a pantograph door camouflaged in the transom.

Reviewed: Absolute Yachts Navetta 64

The bluff-bow Navetta 64 is the latest new-age trawler from Italy’s Absolute Yachts . This model’s biggest evolution from the builder’s other five Navettas is a forward-raked windshield, a feature as practical as it is stylish. The proportionally larger side windows toward the bow are now a brand signature for Absolute, creating a bold profile in concert with detailing such as the sturdy molded rail that sweeps aft to the transom from the high foredeck.

For go-anywhere cruisers, the Navetta 64 has all the appropriate design elements. A hardtop protects the flybridge, whose overhang shields not only the aft deck but also the side decks. There are booth-style seating and sunbathing space on what Absolute calls the “foredeck terrace.” There’s also an optional glazed transom—another big design departure for this model—that conceals an air-conditioned space. This area can serve as a beach-club lounge during the day or as a double-berth stateroom for occasional overnight guests (a flip-over backrest converts the mattress into a sofa). With that aft space in use as a stateroom, the Navetta 64 can sleep eight people in four en suite staterooms.

The aft space has two sliding glass doors that seal pneumatically and are RINA-certified to ensure the compartment is watertight when they’re closed. Even if, in an emergency, the space were flooded, it would not compromise the yacht, according to the builder. And the engines won’t start if the doors are left open.

In addition to the sliding doors, a watertight door from the space’s portside head leads forward to the engine room, which can be accessed through a hatch in the cockpit sole.

If you’re thinking this stern design means there’s no place for crew, you’re wrong. A crew cabin is amidships to starboard, with its own stairs descending from a door on the starboard side deck—the sort of arrangement commonplace on larger motoryachts.

The Navetta 64′s interior styling is contemporary cool with elm and walnut furniture, oak soles, and a harmonious blend of textures and sheens. The main salon includes a galley and dining table aft. A drop-down window helps open up the galley to the cockpit. Amidships is a lounge where most of the furniture is by Minotti.

Forward of the salon, the bridge is raised, giving the lounge abaft it a feeling of intimacy. There are two seats at the bridge with the helm outboard. Most instrumentation is by Garmin. The commanding position delivers clear visibility forward and to the immediate sides, particularly so to starboard, thanks to an optional side-deck glass door whose top panel opens. Cameras and a stern docking station can mitigate the lack of direct sightlines aft, and there is the option of enclosing the upper helm position, which has 360-degree views.

The owner’s stateroom is forward, several steps down from the salon. The forward-facing berth has plenty of space around it, splendid views thanks to Absolute’s signature glazing, and en suite facilities in the bow with another set of windows and opening portholes. Two other en suite staterooms occupy the amidships space on the lower deck. There’s an athwartships double to port and a twin-berth setup to starboard.

Absolute’s design team also focused on utility in the Navetta 64. The laundry room’s door is set into the same bulkhead that separates the owner’s stateroom from the rest of the accommodations, but the laundry room itself is accessed from the lower-deck lobby. There’s space for a washer/dryer and stowage for towels and linens. Another door beyond the appliances reveals a service tunnel that runs all the way forward to the chain-locker bulkhead and deep stowage compartments.

Designed for a maximum speed in the mid-to-high 20s and a fast cruise in the high teens, the Navetta 64′s standard power is twin 900 hp Volvo Penta D13-IPS1200 diesels. However, most owners have opted for the biggest machinery offered: twin 1,000 hp Volvo Penta D13-IPS1350 diesels. Absolute says the optional powerplants are ideal for customers who run heavy with lots of guests and luggage, the largest possible tender, and the biggest stabilizer. Hull No. 1, the first of three Navetta 64s destined for the United States so far, has the big horses and a reported top speed of about 28 knots.

The Absolute Navetta 64 may have a trawler-inspired aesthetic, but the yacht’s fast-cruising performance, modern design elements and multifunctional spaces create a new and welcome style of cruising yacht.

Absolute Yachts ’ most recent model is the 52 Fly, which rolled out at the 2023 Miami International Boat Show. From the first step aboard, it was clear the Italian builder had sweated not only the details, but also pushed the genre ahead of its competition.

The hull’s glazing, resembling a short, tanto-bladed knife and a vertical bow up front, also added to the contemporary design. Undulating LED lighting inlays in the cockpit overhang imparted a cool, sophisticated look to the space. At the same time, a starboard-side docking station spoke to this boat’s bona fides as a serious cruising machine.

The salon also had design touches that one might not expect to find on a 52-ft. semi-custom build. The aft galley had a four-burner Bosch cooktop and a six-foot-tall, stacked refrigerator and freezer that is useful for longer trips. The drawers all had chic leather tabs as handles, extending a beach-like, elegant vibe to the space.

The starboard-side helm was another place onboard that feels just a little bit different than the standard offerings in this size and class.

Twin Garmin screens were angled off in a small arc, as opposed to facing straight back, which gave them a slightly futuristic feel. Tightly stitched helix patterns in the seat-backs of the helm chairs pointed towards a high level of fit and finish.

A sturdy door next to the helm led to the side deck. Perhaps most important for the helmsperson, the Volvo Penta joystick control was maneuverable while standing on that side deck. The joystick and cockpit control station should make docking this boat easier than a conventional setup.

One of the other significant layouts was the flybridge. Absolute managed to make it look stylish and large, without appearing top heavy. The design included a large forward lounge surrounding the helm station, with back-to-front seats to port, and an L-shaped lounge extending back to the transom, with a center dining table. The side island with fridge can also double as a serving station. The overhead hardtop had an opening center window, and stereo speakers were embedded into the bridge.

Our final impression after a tour aboard: The Absolute 52 Fly was more than the sum of its parts. The boat was full-featured without looking crowded, but also highly functional. This 52-footer was clearly ready for a weekend cruise or extended voyage. The Italian builder proved that a well-conceived design makes for a well-rounded boat.

Coupe Series

The Absolute Coupe Series is the newest model range from the Piacenza based shipyard meant to extend their offerings into the express sport yacht market. The new 48 Coupe is the first model to be built and blends many of the same characteristics of Absolute’s larger models into a sporty, easily operated vessel. The Coupe Series exemplifies versatility and function for maximum enjoyment on the water.

Flybridge Series

Absolute’s design team is allowed to create with an open mind, unbound by corporate hindrances, and the result is a free flowing experience from bow to stern. Ranging from 47 to 72-feet, the Flybridge models from Absolute provide exhilaration while driving from the upper helm with unobstructed views and the comforts of the factory hardtop. With large windows that line the side of the hull, the lower deck is filled with natural light creating an open and airy atmosphere throughout the cabins.

Navetta Series

Absolute’s Navetta models are unmistakable in appearance, characterized by flowing lines that reveal a strong personality that demands attention. Noticeable are the massive picture-sized windows of the salon and lower deck, as well as the voluminous entertainment zones of the aft deck, fore deck lounge, and flybridge area. Raymarine’s ClearCruise Technology can also be installed on certain models. This Augmented Reality system gives the captain unprecedented information about the world around them including navigational information, AIS vessel info, and potential risks. Abord the Navetta 64, the exterior lines are outlined by the opening of the side gunwale in the aft cockpit and the unparalleled wide windows in the bow. There is a vivid richness of textures and low reliefs that act as protagonists in the harmonic contrasts of shapes, lights, shadows, and colors.

Aboard the new Navetta 64 the Flybridge is surprisingly wide, larger than any other Navetta model, and even many other competitive yachts. The flybridge space mirrors the versatility of the salon, improving your experience on board through its complete and outstanding level of comfort.

Guests will enjoy the convenience of the wetbar near the salon, a gorgeous, well-equipped galley, a sofa with large teak table, and a wide foredeck lounge with furnishings customized to your tastes. Also featured is the optional perimeter guide, a transparent cover that allows for closing off of the flybridge from inclement weather without sacrificing the panoramic views.

The ergonomic helm station has cutting-edge technology needed for full control of the yacht from navigation to steering. Two couches just aft of the inside helm station allows for the captain to feel as if they’re surrounded by friends while driving, in total safety.

Aboard the Absolute Navetta 64, every detail is designed to assure maximum comfort and functionality. Just like at home, but surrounded by the sea.

All spaces on board are designed to offer maximum enjoyment with beautiful natural light, thanks to the unprecedented large windows that also offer picture-sized views. From the salon to every cabin, the furnishings and appointments are refined to make you feel at ease, without compromise.

On the main deck, the salon is a jewel embroidered with a breath-taking view, thanks to the surrounding windows with reduced-size pillars.

Below deck, the full-beam master cabin is placed in the bow allowing for extra space, as well as a full-beam bathroom.

Your guests will relax in luxury whether in the extraordinary VIP suite or the double-sized third cabin featuring two single beds. Every stateroom on the Navetta 64 features its own en suite head.

Aboard the Absolute Navetta 64, the exciting new Beach Club is both a luxurious fourth double-cabin and an exclusive sea-side terrace.

In the Beach Club version, the transom can be turned from a large storage area into an actual VIP cabin right at the water’s surface.  The certified watertight access door is fully tinted and slightly curved for an incredible visual effect.

Beach Club by day and double cabin with an en-suite head by night. This transformation is made possible by moving the double crew cabin, now directly accessible from the second starboard side door.
