Commencing from the forward area, you'll find a double berth positioned to the side, accompanied by storage lockers overhead, a hanging locker on the starboard side, a forward chain locker, an overhead hatch, and a Sharp color television. The space is well-illuminated and tastefully adorned.

Moving towards the aft, the guest head/day head is located just behind and features a VacuFlush toilet, a countertop resembling Corian, a molded sink, and ample storage space below.

Continuing aft, to port, you'll encounter the C-shaped dinette/settee, offering drawer storage beneath the seating, as well as additional storage above and overhead. The table is crafted from a dark Corian-style material, mirroring the countertops below the two windows.

Across to starboard, the L-shaped galley awaits, boasting a Princess three-burner electric stove with an oven below, a Sharp Carousel turntable microwave oven, dark Corian-style countertops, a molded sink with a single-handle faucet, a spacious Carver refrigerator featuring a top freezer, and abundant storage capacity.

Moving upwards and aft, you'll find an L-shaped reclining settee in light tan leatherette within the salon to the port side. On the starboard side, a coordinating barrel chair complements the setting, accompanied by a JVC color television.

Continuing further aft through the companionway leading to the captain's quarters, you'll encounter a Harman/Kardon AM/FM receiver, a Harman/Kardon multi-disc CD player, a central vacuum system, and ample cupboard storage. Additionally, a substantial hanging locker is positioned adjacent to the stateroom door.

The aft stateroom is impressively spacious and meticulously designed to optimize the available space. It features a double island berth set at a 45-degree angle, creating generous walkways on both sides. 2014 Carver C40 This boat was JUST shipped to Seattle (9/2015).  She is a brand new, twin diesel C40 Carver that was at a dealer back east on a large Fresh Water lake.  The boat is too large for that lake, so they shipped it to us to sell.  Their loss is your gain!!  Pretty much all of the "left over deal boats" have been snatched up!!  But this one was hidden on a small lake and not advertised. + Carver 396 Vessel Walkthrough

From the hardtop covered sundeck, you can step up molded-in steps to the flybridge, step down molded-in steps to the swimplatform, walk out either wing door to the side decks and foredeck or step down into the salon. Once inside the salon, you will find sofa/lounge to starboard, a sofa/berth and coffee table to port, entertainment cabinet port aft and cabinetry forward. Walk forward and step down into the galley port forward and then into the guest stateroom forward. The full beam master stateroom is aft. Engine room access is via a salon sole hatch.

The headroom in the salon is 7', 8'7" in the galley, 6'2" in the master stateroom, 6'1" in the master stateroom shower, 6'2" in the guest stateroom and guest stateroom shower, 6'9" on the sundeck and 6'5" on the flybridge. The master stateroom berth is 6'4" long and the guest stateroom berth is 6'2" long.

Marilou II offers a full-beam master stateroom aft with a queen size berth and an ensuite head with enclosed shower; and a guest stateroom forward with an island queen size berth and a separate head and shower. The port sofa in the salon converts into a double size berth also.
