Golf le Fleur Pop up

The Golf le Fleur pop-up is traveling to Culver City, Calif., opening tomorrow for the next 12 days. This time, it’s open to the public.

“The 12 days of Christmas,” said Tyler, the Creator when asked about the timing. He plans to reveal the address online tomorrow.

The previous pop-up was in Malibu and by invite only, unveiled in 2021. He plans to take it to different cities.

“It’s pretty much the same thing,” he said of the experience. Visitors can expect his latest collections in apparel, footwear, accessories and beauty.

“The public is able to see this and experience this stuff in person,” he added.

Selective about retailers, the brand is found at Mohawk General Store in L.A. and Heath Newsstand in San Francisco — which meet his standards.

“Retail is s–t,” he said. “I probably shouldn’t say that. But, like, everyone knows retail is s–t. Retail is s–t because it’s not the same care that you put into the brand taken there….It’s just not presented correctly.”

Golf le Fleur is Tyler, the Creator’s third fashion project. He released goods under Odd Future (his music collective before going solo) and Golf Wang (the skate-inspired label launched in 2013). Standing on its own, Golf le Fleur is high-end and has featured collaborations with Lacoste and Schott NYC. His signatures have been round collar short-sleeve button-ups, tailored blazers and trousers, pleated shorts, mohair cardigans and loafers — typically in a pastel colored palette.

There are more collaborations coming, he said: “I collab with the people who make shit that I like and I’m like, able to put my own twist on it.”

The creative — born Tyler Gregory Okonma — has produced short films alongside Golf le Fleur releases. For this new pop-up, his latest film showcases his most recent collection.

“It was a bus accident,” he said of the concept. “And it’s a cop just taking all statements from witnesses. And yeah, all the witnesses that were on the bus.”

Blazers, hoodies and bags are modeled by the witnesses, which include rapper Lil Yachty and business man Maverick Carter.

“I think Yachty’s beautiful,” said Tyler, the Creator. “Like, I think he has a very gorgeous face with gorgeous features. And I like how he dresses, how clothes fit on him. And Maverick is one of the coolest people to me. Like the fact that he even did it meant a lot. I wanted to put him in a whimsical look, because he has a super specific personality so to see him in something that looks like that was just super ill eye candy for me.”

Asked about growth, he said: “I don’t even have expectations. I hope people that buy it like the s–t. And I hope it continues to get seen by eyes who aren’t in my bubble. That’s just my main thing. I just hope people outside of my bubble get to see the things that are being made.”

Tyler, The Creator Taps Lil Yachty For le FLEUR* Season 2 Commercial: Watch

The Golf Wang mastermind's clothing empire keeps growing, and this newest ad shows another rap pioneer joining the fray.

Tyler Creator Lil Yachty Le Fleur Season 2 Ad Hip Hop News

Tyler, The Creator isn't just one of music's most visionary minds right now ; his talents extend far beyond his biggest passion. Moreover, he recently released a commercial promoting the second season of his le FLEUR* luxury brand, an offshoot of his Converse collaborations and his Golf Wang brand. In the clip, the Hawthorne, California native stars as one of many crash-stricken bus passengers, all of whom are wearing the stylish and stunning new pieces for this drop. If you watch the video below and are interested in copping something, items from the collection will be available in select brand stores on Saturday (December 9), whereas it will fully be available online the following Wednesday (December 13).

However, one of the most notable parts of this ad is who else rode with Tyler, The Creator in that bus. At one point, the promo clip shows his good rap friend , the one and only Lil Yachty , in his new clothes. It's quite the lavish but unsurprising link-up, as both artists expressed a lot of admiration for each other over the past year or so. Hopefully this isn't the last fashion crossover that we see from them.

Tyler, The Creator's le FLEUR* Season 2 Ad With Lil Yachty: Watch

What's more is that Lil Yachty isn't the only rap star to shout out the former Odd Future frontman recently. For example, Offset recently revealed to GQ how he influenced his solo album . "It was a year ago, at the Roc Nation brunch," he said of his interaction with Tyler, The Creator. "I was telling him my vision of being a standout artist and a solo artist and reinventing myself. I was glorifying him, telling him, ‘I respect how you stay in character [for each album].' He was like, ‘You should do it, too. N***as ain’t going to f**k with it at first, but n***as never f**k with the good s**t first. They always sleep on it, and then you show them throughout the process.’ I really took that s**t to head."

Meanwhile, when it comes to the rap game, the Let's Start Here creative is currently drumming up some controversy for his comments on negativity within it . It's one of a few blasted statements he recently made on the culture right now, and it's inspired a lot of debate. One thing's for sure, though: these two stars love hip-hop, and despite doing so much more than just that genre and music in general, they are never afraid to speak their mind on it and push for higher quality– both within themselves, within each other, and with every other artist. Tyler, The Creator Releases Short Film For GOLF Le FLEUR's Second Collection

Tyler, The Creator is gearing up to launch his second GOLF le FLEUR collection, designed “for the sun seekers.” It’s slated to debut via the rapper’s brick-and-mortar stores on Saturday (Dec. 9) with an online release following on Dec. 13.

Today (Dec. 6), the IGOR artist dropped a vintage-style short film showing off pieces from the assortment. Following a bus accident, a police officer instructed the passengers — including Tyler , Anwar Carrots, Lil Yachty , and others — to form a line to provide their statements.

The video subsequently introduced suits, outerwear, and shoes, as well as accessories like umbrellas and a deerstalker cap from the upcoming collection. Meanwhile, “Duplo Sentido” by Gilberto Gil and Tetê Da Bahia could be heard in the background. Check it out below.

Last Thursday (Nov. 30), Tyler announced 12 temporary holiday stores for GOLF le FLEUR across the world. In addition to the permanent locations based in London, New York City, and Los Angeles, pop-up shops appeared across Austin, Atlanta, the Bay Area, Chicago, and more. They offered exclusive items from the brand’s Fall/Winter launch alongside other essentials.

In 2022, the rapper spoke to Numéro Netherlands about le FLEUR and what he wants people to feel when wearing the clothing pieces. He explained, “Consumers need to go back to the days when they would stop in front of an object for a long time because they loved it… They should be wearing and listening to whatever they like.”

Tyler added, “I’m not selling clothes online with GOLF le FLEUR because I want people to go see and touch the product, to ask themselves if they really want this item. I don’t want them to buy a product just because they like one of my songs and then resell it.”

In October, the label reunited with Lacoste for a tennis-inspired capsule. Prior to that, GOLF partnered with Converse for a bold take on the classic Chuck 70’s low-top design.

Unlocking Tyler's closet.

Tyler, the Creator is more than just a rapper. He's also a fashion designer who has created two clothing brands: GOLF WANG and le FLEUR* . While GOLF WANG is known for its colorful and quirky designs, le FLEUR* is a more refined and elegant line that showcases Tyler's personal style. In this article, we'll show you how to dress like Tyler, the Creator with his new le FLEUR* collection, which features some of his most iconic pieces .

lil yachty golf le fleur

The new le FLEUR* collection is modeled by Tyler himself and his friend Lil Yachty in a video lookbook that reminds us of a previous GOLF WANG season. The collection includes fur-trimmed hats, sweater vests, tailored suits, and embroidered varsity jackets. These are all items that Tyler often wears in his own outfits, and they reflect his unique blend of preppy and streetwear. The clothes are also made with high-quality materials and craftsmanship, making them worth the investment.

lil yachty golf le fleur

But le FLEUR* is not just a clothing brand. It also offers accessories like luggage and perfume that express Tyler's sophisticated side. The perfume, for instance, has a dreamy description that says "Dozing off in the garden, using the sun as a towel to dry off the leftover beads of lake water." le FLEUR* is the grown-up version of GOLF WANG, showing how Tyler has evolved as a fashion designer and a person.

If you want to dress like Tyler, the Creator, you can't go wrong with his new le FLEUR* collection. It will be available online on December 13 and in-store on December 9. It's a great opportunity to get a piece of Tyler's wardrobe and his personality.

EXCLUSIVE: Tyler, the Creator Opens New Golf le Fleur Pop-up, Releases Film Featuring Lil Yachty and Maverick Carter

“I wanted to do something in the city,” the rapper and producer continued, of the location. “And everywhere else in the city is kind of dead. And I figured, well, why not try something over here. So, yeah, that’s kind of how it was. It wasn’t as deep a thought or anything. Just, Fairfax, La Brea, Hollywood, everything is just not where I wanted this. So that seemed like the best bet. And like a clean slate. There’s nothing else over there. There’s no one else over there. And I like that.”

Against a hot desert backdrop that perfectly reflects the title of the proposal, the attractive designs are presented in the form of down jackets, varsity jackets, cardigans and knitted jumpers, tailoring sets, sweatshirts, shirts in different colours and prints, board skirts, berets, scarves and caps, among many others.

The new issue of le Fleur* will take place on 9 December in the brand’s physical shops and will be available on the official website on 13 December .

Tyler, the Creator Opens New Golf le Fleur Pop-up, Options Lil Yachty – WWD

The Golf le Fleur pop-up is touring to Culver Metropolis, Calif., opening tomorrow for the subsequent 12 days. This time, it’s open to the general public.

“The 12 days of Christmas,” mentioned Tyler, the Creator when requested concerning the timing. He plans to disclose the tackle on-line tomorrow.

“I wished to do one thing within the metropolis,” the rapper and producer continued, of the placement. “And all over the place else within the metropolis is sort of lifeless. And I figured, properly, why not attempt one thing over right here. So, yeah, that’s sort of the way it was. It wasn’t as deep a thought or something. Simply, Fairfax, La Brea, Hollywood, every part is simply not the place I wished this. In order that appeared like the very best wager. And like a clear slate. There’s nothing else over there. There’s nobody else over there. And I like that.”

The earlier pop-up was in Malibu and by invite solely, unveiled in 2021. He plans to take it to completely different cities.

“It’s just about the identical factor,” he mentioned of the expertise. Guests can anticipate his newest collections in attire, footwear, equipment and sweetness.

“The general public is ready to see this and expertise these items in individual,” he added.

Selective about retailers, the model is discovered at Mohawk Basic Retailer in L.A. and Heath Newsstand in San Francisco — which meet his requirements.

“Retail is s–t,” he mentioned. “I most likely shouldn’t say that. However, like, everybody is aware of retail is s–t. Retail is s–t as a result of it’s not the identical care that you just put into the model taken there….It’s simply not introduced accurately.”

Golf le Fleur is Tyler, the Creator’s third style challenge. He launched items underneath Odd Future (his music collective earlier than going solo) and Golf Wang (the skate-inspired label launched in 2013). Standing by itself, Golf le Fleur is high-end and has featured collaborations with Lacoste and Schott NYC. His signatures have been spherical collar short-sleeve button-ups, tailor-made blazers and trousers, pleated shorts, mohair cardigans and loafers — sometimes in a pastel coloured palette.

There are extra collaborations coming, he mentioned: “I collab with the individuals who make shit that I like and I’m like, capable of put my very own twist on it.”

The artistic — born Tyler Gregory Okonma — has produced brief movies alongside Golf le Fleur releases. For this new pop-up, his newest movie showcases his most up-to-date assortment.

“It was a bus accident,” he mentioned of the idea. “And it’s a cop simply taking all statements from witnesses. And yeah, all of the witnesses that had been on the bus.”

Blazers, hoodies and baggage are modeled by the witnesses, which embrace rapper Lil Yachty and enterprise man Maverick Carter.

“I believe Yachty’s lovely,” mentioned Tyler, the Creator. “Like, I believe he has a really beautiful face with beautiful options. And I like how he attire, how garments match on him. And Maverick is likely one of the coolest individuals to me. Like the truth that he even did it meant lots. I wished to place him in a whimsical look, as a result of he has a brilliant particular persona so to see him in one thing that appears like that was simply tremendous sick eye sweet for me.”

The lineup of seems to be is a mirrored image of his style, he added. “Everybody sort of seems to be like completely different variations of me.” He designs for himself. “I’m simply selfishly make garments that I need to put on.”

Requested about progress, he mentioned: “I don’t even have expectations. I hope people who purchase it just like the s–t. And I hope it continues to get seen by eyes who aren’t in my bubble. That’s simply my most important factor. I simply hope individuals outdoors of my bubble get to see the issues which can be being made.”

Tyler, the Creator Opens New Golf le Fleur Pop-up, Features Lil Yachty – WWD

The Golf le Fleur pop-up is traveling to Culver City, Calif., opening tomorrow for the next 12 days. This time, it’s open to the public.

“The 12 days of Christmas,” said Tyler, the Creator when asked about the timing. He plans to reveal the address online tomorrow.

The lineup of looks is a reflection of his taste, he added. “Everyone kind of looks like different versions of me.” He designs for himself. “I’m just selfishly make clothes that I want to wear.”

Asked about growth, he said: “I don’t even have expectations. I hope people that buy it like the s–t. And I hope it continues to get seen by eyes who aren’t in my bubble. That’s just my main thing. I just hope people outside of my bubble get to see the things that are being made.”
