“I Just Care a Lot”: Lil Yachty Opens up About His Tour and Friendship With Drake

Lil Yachty checked in with Complex in an exclusive pre-tour interview.

Lil Yachty is in an energized state of stillness. If that sounds paradoxical, that’s because it is. It’s the Wednesday night before the first show of his 2023 tour and he’s had an hour of sleep. But between yawns, it’s clear that Yachty is fresh off of the high of what’s bound to be a fun run.

Aside from a 39-stop global tour, Yachty has been working closely with Drake on For All the Dogs, and there’s fresh ink on a few new partnerships, including an exciting one with C4 Energy—which, it becomes very clear, he’ll be leaning on.

Nine months after the release of what is debatably his best project to date, Lil Yachty checked in with Complex in an exclusive pre-tour interview from his hotel in Washington D.C., the night before his tour starts, to share what he’s been overthinking as of late, run us through his emotions on what our team is deeming a tour that exhibits a “versatile,” evolving Yachty, and opine on Drake’s upcoming album, which he’s heavily involved in. How are you feeling? What type of energy are you on today? I was packing all night, I didn't go to sleep…. I’m an overthinker when it comes to getting dressed, so I packed until, like, seven, and then I got up and got ready at 7:50, so, like, I didn't really sleep last night…but I had so much energy this morning for some reason.

It’s going to be a long run of tour and it sounds like you're probably gonna need a lot of energy so I can think of a few reasons why you hopped into this one, but what makes the partnership, especially a multiyear partnership, with C4 a good pairing for you? I think just finding a home again, you know, I hate to advertise being that guy that never sleeps. But I think I found a home for something to fuel my days and nights because I am the guy who never sleeps. I mean literally never. So it made the most sense. To find a family—almost like a joint family for the boosting of my energy. And with the collaboration, the look and the style of the brand was very much on brand for me, you know, with the swag…it just didn't feel simple or some, like, muscle man drink, you know? It was very much cool and I only like to do things that feel like me. I'm so sketchy when I feel like something is not me. Kids are really into energy drinks these days. I'm not one of them. I'm a tea and coffee girl but I feel like when I say kids, I'm including the 20-somethings like us… That’s because this world is run on streamers, gamers, and content creators [who are] putting in those heavy-duty hours creating that content.

Yeah. I have friends outside of those spaces though who are, like, hooked on Celsius, Red Bull, C4, and all these other energy drinks. What’s up with that? I would never speak for anyone, but I do think that the younger generation now more than ever are putting in hours and working long hours more than ever before, whether working early morning or working late nights. And on top of that, you're young. So it's not like you're only working, you're also probably maintaining a life or trying to, you know…balancing so many things which then comes the point of, “Man. It's only so much time in a day. Gotta keep that clock going.”

Yeah. Well, now that you’re on tour, what have you been listening to these days to keep you going? I've been listening to For All the Dogs man. That's, that's all I've been bumping. My head been in there. For real though, that's all I really been listening to.

Friendship aside, what is it about it that you love that has you keep coming back to it? It's just fresh and fun if you ask me. But I mean, that's not the only thing I listen to. I also listen to a lot of John Carroll Kirby, I gotta say that because I do listen to a lot of John Caroll Kirby right now because he is just such a fucking sick jazz musician and his spin on jazz is so cool. But besides [that], … For All The Dogs is just cool. And last time I checked (and, I check every fucking day) what is out right now? Like, musically, what is even…what's happening right now? Nothing. You know what I'm saying? So, being a part of something that's being created that is so fresh, it's so here, it's so ready, you know what I'm saying? Like it's, it's ready and I think that's the part.

Drake's been on this tour run and you've been around for some of it, you know, what have you learned from him from touring? Not much. Me and him are kind of different when it comes to lifestyle. Like we're really similar as people, but as far as life, we're very different. Like, I don't go out, he loves to go out, he loves to host people, he loves to party and I don’t like people that much. And I record every day all day,where he kind of is very selective on his recording days as he has more of a life than I do. And, he is much more into actually living life as to where I am literally trying to record music every day. And I don't know if I get that from him of like, “Oh, I should go live a life too,” because I enjoy not living life, I enjoy making music. This is my fun. I hate going out. So, if anything, I just realized that you can be so similar to somebody yet so different at the same time.

And he's obviously learned a lot from you too. You've helped with his choices, like with the cover artwork of Her Loss . You've given insight and produced on the upcoming project. Do you feel like a creative director of sorts for Drake at times? What's that like? I mean, I think I care, you know? As a friend, I just care a lot as a friend, I care about all my friends, you know? It just so happens that one of my friends is one of the biggest artists in the world. But I'm a very supportive, open friend. I'm not a guy to show love in private. I publicly show love, and I think it sometimes makes a lot of people…people have things to say, but, it never bothered me. I'm a public love shower, and that's beautiful.

You said the word so I have to ask now, because I ask it of most artists I speak to. How do you define love? I think it is an idea of happiness and a version of super strength; strong energy that’s connected spiritually. It’s when you feel embedded in someone and you want them to be great. It changes depending on the form of love. I mean, we [can] just sit down and have a love class/conversation if you want. But I think it just depends on the relationship and the intent.

WELL, I do want to have a love class or larger conversation, so we'll have to do that another time. But, getting back to the music—I'm excited to hear that you're working on new stuff. I love Let’s Start Here . You’ve been called many things. What are some labels that you want to do away with and others you want to maybe impose on yourself now? What would you call this next era? I'm just an artist, you know? I'm not a mumble rapper. I'm not a one-hit wonder. I'm not a…I don't know, I'm just an artist. I love to rap. I love to sing. I love to write. I love to produce. I'm just an artist, and you should never expect anything because I will always do something unexpected. Just don't expect it. I'm gonna just start doing ASMR of me making peanut butter jelly sandwiches. Don't expect anything because imma always do the opposite. You know, I hate to disappoint, but I'm here to disappoint if you start expecting shit.

You did say you're making music every day. So, how do you describe what you're making now? How do you feel about it? It's rap shit. Making Let’s Start Here took time. Every day. But I think about it every day and I'm so excited to start the next album. But I'm just having fun making raps though, and tons of shit that I'm into putting out. I'm so excited as to what I have next and I got some things, I got some things in the pipeline, and it's coming real soon. I'm excited.

It's funny, you recently said you want to be mentioned in certain conversations, including “stupid shit,” like the Complex list of best albums of the year, which [ laughs ], I'll say I don't think is stupid shit, but, can you elaborate on that? I say stupid shit because I think that you should never grade your work based on someone else's opinion. That's why I call it stupid. You know? But, I still do it. I shouldn't say my albums aren’t good because I didn't get a Grammy or because Complex didn't nominate, or I didn't make the Top 10 Apple chart; I shouldn't do that because there are gonna be millions of people in the world who still think it's great. It's something that could possibly diminish all of my hard work and my brain if I allow it to. First-week numbers and that kind of stuff. 

Well, we liked it. So, continue to keep an eye on that list. I appreciate it. I'm so grateful when people…and I hate saying this because I always feel like “I don't give a fuck if you don't like it or not [ laughs ].” But I always am so grateful and appreciative when people are into anything that I make. I think now a little less than it used to, but for the longest [time], it would just shock me that people even liked my music. I was like, “For real?” I still don't even really believe people listen to me.

I feel like it just shines through when it's something that you like and it's something that you had fun making, that shines through and that makes people appreciate it all the more. So, yeah—I know you’re not coming to LA but I'll have to catch you somewhere else. It's such a great show. I'm so excited. I've never done a show like this ever. It feels cool.

Tell me a little bit about it. I have no clue how people are gonna react. I'm so nervous because it is a different show, and I haven't toured in five years, and I toured three times before in 2017, and when I would tour those three tours, I'd see super fans. I’d see the same people a lot of times. They loved me.

And if I know anything, I imagine these people are gonna come again. It's a different show, and I've grown so much and so much has changed in my life. And to be honest, like I said, I haven't done a Lil Yachty show in five years, I've done shows, I've done festivals. I've done college shows and these are my shows, but there are also other people on the bill, so people come and see me but they come and see this person or maybe they were just at school and it was an event for the night or whatever. I went on, like, a yearly run of just college shows and festivals. So these are my first shows where people are paying hard tickets to go see Lil Yachty. And I just am feeling all the emotions.

What are you nervous about? I just haven't really played this album many times. I get to really see my fans react to it, and it's a different show than I'm used to, it's not the average, moshpit, jump around show. So, we just have to see how people react.

What are you most excited about? I'm such an analytical person. I just like to watch and see how people react.

On “One Of Those Days”, they link up with Zack Bia, and the result is an interesting cross-pollination of their respective musical landscapes. It’s not Yachty’s most incendiary performance, his rhymes are far more introspective than fiery, and his signature wordplay is somewhat muted. You get the sense he’s taking a bit of a backseat, allowing 347aidan’s emo-driven rap that resonates with the Gen-Z crowd to take the lead. It’s a laid-back, introspective track that plays to the strengths of its collaborators rather than pushing Yachty to the fore. A cool experiment, but not necessarily peak Lil Boat.

45. sHouLd i B? – Lil Yachty

Though Yachty tends to lean into his more playful, unconventional image, this track finds him in a more contemplative mood, exploring the pressures and expectations that come with fame. This joint ain’t your typical club banger or radio hit, but it’s got a certain vibe that can’t be replicated. Some may deem it too mellow for their taste, but for the true heads who know that hip hop ain’t always about the flashy and grand, “sHouLd i B?” is a real gem. This banger off his fourth studio album ‘Lil Boat 3′ is proof that the self-dubbed King of Youth can bounce between styles smoother than a DJ on the ones and twos. The joint starts with that classic Boat energy, all upbeat flow and playful metaphors. But halfway through, the track flips like a record on the platter. Suddenly, we’re swimming in a slower, introspective vibe where each lyric lands like it’s got somethin’ to prove. It’s a showcase of Yachty’s experimentation with sound and style, like mixing two paints to create a brand new color. Is it the best Yachty joint out there? Maybe not. But it’s evidence that this cat’s creativity is off the charts.

34. 1v1 (feat. Lil Yachty) – Rio Da Yung Og

This is where that Midwest flow meets Atlanta trap, creating a classic hip hop head-nodder. Yachty is no slouch here, as he goes toe-to-toe with Rio, both firing lyrical bullets back and forth. What’s dope about this track is Yachty stepping outside his usual comfort zone, spitting with a fervor that shows he can hang with the most aggressive spitters. But it ain’t all about aggression, as both artists flaunt their wordplay skills. Yeah, it might not carry that depth of some lyrical miracles, but “1v1″ serves as a testament that Yachty ain’t just about mumble rap. He got bars too, ya heard?”

33. the ride- – Lil Yachty

This track finds Boat drifting down memory lane, reminiscent of earlier times when the rap game was just a dream scribbled in his notebook. His flow is a bit more subdued than his usual bouncy cadence, giving his words gravity. Lyrically, Yachty shows growth, holding a mirror to his own triumphs and trials, meditating on his journey to stardom. The beat is a smooth, melodic production that adds depth to Boat’s reflections. Watch Mac DeMarco join Lil Yachty for a huge Coachella set

The two took to the stage at the end of the performance for two tracks

Lil Yachty surprised fans at his huge Coachella set last night (Sunday, April 14) by bringing out Mac DeMarco as a special guest. Check out footage of the moment below.

The American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer – whose real name is Miles Parks McCollum – took to the stage at the Indio festival last night, in what was the final day of the first weekend.

Initially, the intense set by Yachty kicked off with the rapper performing five back-to-back tracks from his 2023 album, ‘Let’s Start Here’. Walking on the stage as ‘the BLACK seminole’ was played over a tape, he launched into ‘IVE OFFICIALLY LOST ViSiON!!!!’ and ‘THE zone~’, before delivering renditions of ‘pRETTy’ and ‘running out of time’ – which he performed alongside Justine Skye – and ‘drive ME crazy!’.

From there, fan favourites including ‘Flex Up’ and ‘Coffin’ were embedded in the 21 song setlist, as well as covers of BRAM’s ‘Broccoli’ and ‘ON THE RADAR CONCRETE CYPHER’ by Concrete Boys.

However, it was towards the end of the set that Yachty delivered one of the most noteworthy moments – bringing out slacker-pop king Mac DeMarco as a surprise guest.

Here, the two came together to perform two tracks from DeMarco’s discography. The first of which was ‘On The Level’ – taken from DeMarco’s 2017 album  ‘This Old Dog’ – while the second was ‘Chamber Of Reflection’, shared 10 years ago as part of the ‘Salad Days’  LP.

The collaboration between the rapper and the singer-songwriter last night comes after the two joined forces on Yachty’s aforementioned 2023 album ‘Let’s Start Here’ . In the release, DeMarco is credited as a writer on two tracks – ‘Drive Me Crazy!’ and ‘Failure’.

The album also featured a huge number of additional guests other than DeMarco, including MGMT ’s Ben Goldwasser, Alex G , Daniel Caesar , Fousheé , Teezo Touchdown , Justine Skye and Diana Gordon.

Elsewhere in yesterday’s instalment of Coachella 2024, the night saw sets from Sublime , Blur and No Doubt , before Tyler, The Creator headlined that evening.

Lil Yachty’s Concrete Boys Drop Debut Album ‘It’s Us Vol. 1’ with Karrahbooo’s ‘Where Yo Daddy’ Video

The highly anticipated debut compilation album It’s Us Vol. 1 from the culture-shifting supergroup Concrete Boys has officially hit the airwaves. Released via Concrete Rekordz/Quality Control Music, the project marks a significant milestone for the group, which includes members Lil Yachty, Karrahbooo, Dc2trill, Draft Day, and Camo!.

Accompanying the album release is a brand-new music video for the focus track, Karrahbooo’s “Where Yo Daddy,” adding visual flair to the group’s sonic offerings. Cementing their status in the rap world, Concrete Boys have been making waves with fan favorites like “ MO JAMS ,” “ FAMILY BUSINESS ,” “ MY LIFE ,” and “ LOVE LANGUAGE ,” leading up to the release of their debut full-length project.

Helmed by the creative genius Lil Yachty, “It’s Us Vol. 1” comprises 16 tracks that blend classic rap’s sonic elements with today’s youth’s contemporary energy. From soulful rap vibes to cloudy southern trap beats, the album promises to lay the groundwork for a new era in the rap game.

Lil Yachty, Teezo Touchdown to perform at Block Party

University Union will host Lil Yachty, Teezo Touchdown and ISOxo along with student DJ group FEƎM for this year’s Block Party on April 26 at 7 p.m.

Lil Yachty is a rapper, singer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. Lil Yachty has dabbled in several genres with his latest album, “Let’s Start Here,” combining alternative rock and hip hop.

The album debuted at the top of the Billboard Top Rock & Alternative Albums list in January 2023. Outside of music, he’s collaborated with several different brands, started his own nail polish brand “Crete” and launched a frozen pizza company “Deep Cuts Yachty’s Pizzeria.” His most recent release, “A Cold Sunday,” dropped in February 2024 and debuted on the Billboard Singles Hot 100 chart.

Teezo Touchdown will join Lil Yachty in the lineup. Rolling Stone named the Texas native’s freshmen album, “How Do You Sleep At Night,” “the future of rap rock.” Touchdown has been featured on songs by artists such as Drake, Tyler, the Creator, Travis Scott and André 3000.

Rounding out the three visiting performers is ISOxo. After releasing a few singles, ISOxo teamed up with RL Grime for the song “Stinger” and went on an eight-stop tour in 2022. In 2024, he collaborated with Skrillex at OMFG and performed at music festivals like Ultra, Coachella and Electric Forest.

FEƎM is made up of four SU seniors: Dominic Brancoli, Michael Lieberman, Max Cohen and Anish Vasudevan. The group will “bring their eclectic mix of house, disco, UKG and dance music to their largest space yet,” according to the press release.

The Kid LAROI quietly unveiled the new track “Hatred.” A YouTube and Soundcloud exclusive, LAROI enlisted the Concrete commander Lil Yachty to contribute to the cut – marking the pairing’s first-ever collaborative offering.

“I used to buy you stilettos and Birkins / I don’t know why ’cause you wouldn’t be here if I was hurtin’ / I tried to erase you out my mind, all things was fine ’til I closed the curtain / I used to look at you like a God knowin’ damn well you an average person,” Yachty kicks off his verse.

Drake lil yachty 'jumbotron' reference track leaked by metro, says akademiks.

On Sunday, a reference track hit the internet of Yachty appearing to be the brainchild of Drake's song "Jumbotron S*** Poppin" ... rapping most of the "Her Loss" hit as it was presented to the masses.

According to Akademiks , Metro Boomin sent the track to several sources with a "Merry Christmas" gift note attached 🎁 -- tightly wrapped with intentions to damage Drake's rep.

The ghostwriting rumors have nudged Drake since his beef with Meek Mill , however, Lil Yachty is listed as one of the many writers on the track. It was common knowledge Yachty assisted during the album process.

Metro hasn't owned up to the leak, but if it's him ... it could be payback for his phone getting hacked last month.

An avalanche of Toronto-based numbers spammed Metro for days and thousands of dollars worth of Balenciaga were charged to his account -- a caper he's fully pinning on Drake.

"Jumbotron" doesn't exactly fall under the ghostwriting umbrella, but Rick Ross capitalized on the moment anyway and fueled his Drake beef even further ... claiming Drake's Diamond-certified "Sicko Mode" verse to also be the work of a puppetmaster.

The song features about a dozen writers ... good luck to Rozay proving who did what!!!

Drake is seemingly in a battle with half of the music industry  as several artists have recently formed like Voltron to go against the 6 God. In the latest apparent attempt to assassinate Drizzy's character, someone has leaked a reference track that finds Lil Yachty rapping the lines to Aubrey's "Jumbotron S**t Poppin."  In the leak, which can be heard below, Boat raps the exact same lines as Drake does, except he says "I was too sipped out," where Drake changed the lyrics to "Boat was so sipped out."

"We ain't even out in Turks, she finna take sand/Ridin' 'round with F&N, we like to hold hands," Yachty raps in the clip below. "I was too sipped out, he ain't leave the bed/Damn, they dipped a pint of TEC in a Code Red/If I tell this bitch to pull up, she gon' moped it/My dawg, he don't smoke on shit unless it's unleaded/I don't back and forth over no 'net, so just go on, dead it/See me when you see me, if it's smoke, dawg, you unleash it."

This wouldn't be the first time Drake has faced a ghostwriting scandal. Back in 2015, he was infamously accused by Meek Mill of having a writer, who turned out to be Atlanta artist Quentin Miller.

Who leaked the reference track.

Word on road is that the leak was sent to multiple blogs by an unknown Atlanta phone number. Controversial streamer DJ Akademiks has gone so far as to surmise the leak was delivered by none other than Metro Boomin.

After being dissed by several artists on Future and Metro Boomin's We Don't Trust You and We Still Don't Trust You albums, Drake clapped back at his detractors over the weekend with the diss song "Drop and Give Me 50,"  which finds him taking aim at Kendrick Lamar, Future, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross and others. Rick Ross has already responded with his own song "Champagne Moments."

Lil Yachty's Reference Track For Popular Drake Song Surfaces, Sparks Debate

T he aftermath of Drake and Kendrick Lamar's conflict is full of eye-popping drama from Rick Ross' response to a fresh leak that fuels more rumors about Drizzy's alleged dependency on ghostwriters.

In the early hours of Monday morning, April 15, numerous bloggers received a file from a "random Atlanta number" that contains Lil Yachty's reference track for Drake's "Jumbotron Sh*t Poppin" from his and 21 Savage's joint album Her Loss . Yachty is listed as a producer, composer and lyricist on the track so the leak appears to be the real deal. However, the track is sparking plenty of controversy among fans.

Some fans are convinced that Metro Boomin leaked the track in the heat of the civil war against Drizzy. The reference comes in the midst of Drake's beef with Kendrick Lamar , Future , Metro Boomin , The Weeknd and Rick Ross . Over the weekend, Drake formally responded to all the shots fired on both of Pluto and Young Metro's joint albums in his own diss track "Push Ups." On the record, the 37-year-old artist takes aim at Kendrick by alleging his former label Top Dawg Entertainment is extorting him, and alluding to his wife Whitney.

Meanwhile, Drizzy told Metro to "shut your hoe ass up and make drums" and tore Abel and his XO crew to shreds. Abel was the first to react to a leak of Drake's diss and Rozay stepped up next with his response "Champagne Moments." Soon after both disses circulated around the Internet, an alleged diss track believed to be from Kendrick Lamar began to spread. However, it was quickly determined that the song was made by AI.

Watch Coachella 2024 live: Stream sets from Doja Cat, J Balvin, Reneé Rapp, more

There's something for everyone with the reunion of No Doubt, Blur, Ice Spice, Sublime, Victoria Monét, and tons more.

One of the biggest annual music festivals has started. The first weekend of music at Coachella kicked off Friday. You won't have to head to the California desert to catch favorite performers, reuniting bands, and the buzzy bands everyone will be talking about all week. The festival will stream the entire weekend on its YouTube channel, which you can watch right here.

Whether you're hoping to see Lana Del Rey , Blur , Doja Cat , or the No Doubt reunion, each set from six of the festival's eight stages will be live on your phone or in your living room.

Here's how to stream the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which starts Friday, April 12 at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET, as well as details on when to catch EW's most-anticipated Coachella sets .

How to stream Coachella online

Anyone heading to Coachella must spend time mapping out the sets they'll catch since artists perform simultaneously on different stages. ( Here's the full schedule !) It's the same deal for anyone streaming Coachella at home.

Six stages will stream live on YouTube. (They're all available at the bottom of this post.) Viewers have to pick and choose the sets that are absolutely essential, moving between the stages just like attendees. However, for the first time, YouTube is offering a multi-view stream. It allows viewers to stream four sets simultaneously with the ability to move between the audio from any of those four streams. Though, multi-view will only be available through the YouTube app on TV.

If you miss a set, each day's stream will start over from the beginning on a loop until the following day's stream begins.

Who to watch at Coachella on Friday

Coachella doesn't start small — or do anything small, really. Lana Del Rey headlines the opening night, hitting the Coachella Stage at 11:20 p.m. PT. Though, there is plenty to get excited about earlier in the day. Lil Uzi Vert will grace the Coachella Stage a few hours before Del Rey, with the Barack Obama-approved chart-topper Peso Pluma performing between them.

It's a big night for fans of female singer-songwriters. Unfortunately, there is a lot of overlap between the set times for Chappell Roan, Faye Webster, Brittany Howard , and Sabrina Carpenter , the first former Disney Channel star to have an official Coachella set.

Friday will also feature Justice closing out the Outdoor Theatre, for anyone looking to create an at-home dance party. They're preceded by John Summit and Dom Dolla's Everything Always project. So, it's a dance party all night. (Summit and Dolla will have individual sets later in the weekend.)

Also on offer is Ateez, the first K-pop boy group to hit Coachella. Another first happens shortly after the gates open when Cimafunk becomes the first Cuban-born artist to play Coachella. Elsewhere, fans can catch The Little Mermaid star Chloë Bailey , Clown Core, Deftones, Suki Waterhouse , Young Miko, Tinashe , and Black Country, New Road.

Who to watch at Coachella on Saturday

While Tyler, the Creator headlines Saturday's sets — and always puts on a good show — the schedule is loaded with must-see performances.

The biggest event of the day may be the reunion of No Doubt. Gwen Stefani 's '90s alt-ska group will take the stage for the first time since 2015. Even then, they only performed sporadically.

The day also features Blur, Ice Spice , and a special set from Sublime . The '90s Southern California group had its legacy-defining moment before the 1996 death of frontman Bradley Nowell. They've since performed as Sublime With Rome, featuring vocalist Rome Ramirez. The final album of the "With Rome" era comes out soon, but the new era is already getting going. Original members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson are reuniting with Nowell's son, Jakob Nowell, who will perform with them at Coachella.

French electronic innovator Gesaffelstein will close out the Outdoor Theatre on Saturday. He has a reputation for pulling out all the stops live, and his 2019 performance at Coachella is still talked about today.

Vampire Weekend , a last-minute addition that is only appearing during Coachella's first weekend, has a 5 p.m. performance. Other enticing Saturday sets include Bleachers, Grimes , Jon Batiste , Orbital, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Drums, and the buzzy U.K. group, The Last Dinner Party.

Who to watch at Coachella on Sunday

Coachella will not go out with a whimper. Sunday is another stacked day, that gives hip-hop fans a lot to love. Doja Cat headlines, closing down the Coachella Stage at 10:20 p.m. PT. There will also be sets from J Balvin and Lil Yachty .

Victoria Monét , fresh off a Grammy win for Best New Artist, will get a lot of attention in an early-evening slot on the Mojave Stage. She'll perform right after 88rising Futures' all-star K-pop extravaganza, which features Atarashii Gakko!, Number_i, Awich, Yoasobi, Xin Liu, and others.

For something a little further from the pop spectrum, Mandy, Indiana is making a rare appearance stateside. The noise rock group plays later in the day on the Sonora stage, not long after sets from Taking Back Sunday and Feeble Little Horse.

The day also features performances from Mean Girls star Reneé Rapp , Bebe Rexha , Khruangbin, Coi Leray, Boy Harsher, Jockstrap, and Mdou Moctar.
