Founded in 1984, the Hudson Cove Yacht Club is dedicated to the support of yachting and associated programs for its members. The club promotes skilled seamanship and fellowship through racing, cruising, and social and educational activities for both sailors and power boaters.

The Croton Yacht Club, located at 6 Elliott Way in Croton-on-Hudson, will be hosting a New York State Boating Safety & Personal Watercraft Certification Course

The Croton Yacht Club, located at 6 Elliott Way in Croton-on-Hudson, will be hosting a New York State Boating Safety & Personal Watercraft Certification Course on Sunday, March 24th, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The course is being offered by the New York Boating Safety Organization, and the fee is $75.00 per student. Under a recent law known as Brianna’s Law, all motorboat operators: • born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2022 • born on or after Jan. 1, 1983, will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2023 • born on or after Jan. 1, 1978, will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2024 • All motorboat operators, regardless of age, will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2025 • You must hold a safety certificate if you operate a personal watercraft (PWC) and are at least 14 years of age. Anyone may operate a personal watercraft if someone at least 18 is on the craft and holds a safety certificate.

The required boating safety certificate must always be carried while operating the boat or personal watercraft (PWC). An approved course in boater education includes at least 8-hours of classroom training and a proctored exam. Students must be at least ten years old to take the course. Other boater education course options are also available online.

The cost is $40.00 in advance NO WALK-INS ALLOWED A cash bar is also available. Door prizes, giveaways, and lively jazz music will guarantee another successful event.

Hudson Water Club Restaurlant – Views Of The Hudson River In Rockland County

The Hudson Water Club sits within a beautiful waterside setting, against sweeping views of the Hudson River. Inside, snazzy terrazzo tile, vaulted ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows make for tremendous use of the natural views of the river.

The restaurant’s cuisine is Contemporary American with a strong emphasis on seafood designed by their CIA trained Executive Chef. The menu focuses on local ingredients and strives to feature seasonal items at their peak of freshness. The Hudson Water Club has facilities for hosting weddings and events that offer fine dining with magnificent waterfront views and spectacular sunsets. Following the cocktail hour, your guests (up to 140 seated) can move inside and dine under the stars.
