The 78.43m/257'4" motor yacht 'Titan' was built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany at their Lemwerder shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house Reymond Langton Design and she was completed in 2010. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Reymond Langton Design and she was last refitted in 2021.

Titan features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 40,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠100A1 SSC YACHT(P) MONO G6 ✠ LMC, UMS classification society rules.

TITAN Yacht – Extravagant $100M Superyacht

Reymond Langton Design penned both the interior and exterior features of the fantastic superyacht and Abeking & Rasmussen built her.

She was delivered from their Lemwerder shipyard in 2010, along with two sister ships, Eminence and C2, which are privately owned pleasure yachts. TITAN is used personally by the owner.

The interior details of the TITAN yacht remain private, but Reymond Langton Design is known for its beautiful and functional designs.

She has accommodation for 14 guests on board in 7 suites. There is also accommodation for 19 crew members on board the 80m superyacht.

She has a beach club for a perfect indoor/outdoor for guests to enjoy on the water level.

There is an on-deck Jacuzzi for relaxation and a gym for guests to use. There is also a movie theater that guests can relax in after a day on the water.

TITAN features a unique Abeking & Rasmussen feature with a large transom hatch to load and launch the tenders from the large interior garage.

The exterior of the TITAN yacht was also designed by Reymond Langton Design and built by the German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen.

The shipyard’s in-house design team penned the naval architecture. She was delivered from the Lemwerder shipyard in 2010 and refitted in 2021.

The hull of the TITAN yacht is grey with a white aluminum superstructure. TITAN has a modern and powerful exterior on the water.

Specifications

The TITAN yacht is a 78.43m yacht with a 12.6m beam and a 3.4m draft. She has a displacement of 2115 gross tons and a top speed of 17 knots.

Her two Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 6000 nautical miles.

She has at-anchor stabilizers to provide exceptional comfort levels for guests. The $100 million vessel has an annual running cost of $5 – $10 million. She was built to Lloyd’s Society Rules and MCA standards.

The TITAN yacht is a privately owned yacht that is not available for charter. However, her sister ship Eminence is a charter yacht.

The owner was born in Krasnodar, Russia, USSR, and is of Jewish descent. He attended The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, graduating with a degree in physics and mathematics in 1982.

Before beginning his business ventures, he first worked for Russia’s space and defense program as a scientist.

Government funding declined for the space program, and so he became a major businessman in Russia. 

Before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, he ran a laboratory at the Joint Institute of High-Pressure Temperatures, studying high energy densities and shock wave physics and applied electrodynamics.

Abramov leaped into business when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 and founded his first firm in 1992 that imported and sold fitness equipment.

Later, he joined former classmates to create EvrazMetall, an exporter of Russian steel. This precursor enterprise of Evraz Holding made him a fortune by exporting metals and coals from the Urals and Siberia.

Between 2001 and 2003, Abramov and his partners acquired three steel plants Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Plant, West Siberian Iron and Steel Plant, and Novokuznetsk Iron and Steel Plant.

These three plants were the foundation for Evraz, which now has iron ore, coal mining, and steel manufacturing operations. The partners sold shares in Evraz on the London Stock Exchange in 2005 for $400 million.

A year later, the partners sold 41% of the company to billionaire Roman Abramovich, pocketing $3 billion.

There are ten partners in Evraz. Abramov has a 29% stake in the country and is a director alongside Alexander Frolov.

Abramov used the process to invest in gold, forestry, and mobile internet services. In 2013, Abramov and Abramovich teamed up again to buy a 5.9% stake in Norilsk Nickel, the world’s second-largest nickel producer.

Abramov and partners sold a 24.5% stake in Trans Container for $436 million. The company is Russia’s largest railway container operator.

Super yacht Titan is the third yacht in the 78m series, launched by Abeking & Rasmussen of Germany. With naval architecture by the yard's in-house team, the striking Titan yacht has her exterior styling created by Reymond Langton, who also designed the two other superyachts in the 78m series.

Superyacht TITAN has a grey hull, built from steel, with a white superstructure which was constructed in aluminium. Unlike her sister-ships luxury yacht Titan has some minor customisation in the profile look of her sundeck and radar mast areas. Titan can also be distinguished with her large doors which have been positioned on the side part of the forward full beam area. These doors are likely to be for water toy and tender side garages. Abeking are known for designing and building very large transom hatches on their modern motor yachts as they operate two well proven tender launching systems actually developed by A&R. This allows the yacht to employ smooth launching and recovering of the ship tender even whilst under way, or when approaching a anchorage or harbour.

Titan for sale through Ocean Independence

Titan , the 60 metre superyacht built by Brooke Marine, is now for sale through Ocean Independence. Launched in 1968, Titan was originally a commissioned Royal Navy ship, HMS Beagle . But, after a rebuild completed in 2005 and a refit in 2008, the yacht is now for sale with an asking price of €26.9 million.

“Since 2007 there has been an incredible amount of work done to the boat,” explains Marco Vandoni, central agent at Ocean Independence. “I estimate around €10 million has been spent on her in the past two years.”

The accommodation on board is impressive with 11 cabins, including the 90 square metre owner’s suite, plus six double and five twin cabins. Currently in Genoa, Titan will appear at the Monaco Yacht Show.

Nestled among the rolling cornfields of coastal Maryland, Titan Custom Yachts is situated right in the backyard of the white marlin capital of the world. Owner Russ Garufi progressed to boatbuilding in 2001 after a lifetime career as a custom-home builder, and with nine delivered yachts to his name, Titan is just starting to hit its stride. After only a few months in operation, the new 63-footer, Lunatico , has already proved her worth—most notably with a 682-pound fish landed by owner Lance Converse to take the Blue Marlin Jackpot in July’s Bermuda Billfish Blast.

I first visited Titan in August 2021. The build was halfway complete but was starting to take form, and Palm Beach Towers was on-site to measure for what would surely be the proverbial cherry on top. As I combed through the boat, I was impressed to see the construction methods that were being used. All items were not just fastened but bonded, to ensure a tight, quiet ride, and I was looking forward to experiencing all of this for myself after delivery.

The call that Capt. Cory Gillespie was en route to Florida with Lunatico came in late spring. Under the gun to fish the Bahamas tournaments before heading directly to Bermuda in July, I was lucky to jump on during a rare gap in the boat’s schedule. As I walked down the dock, Lunatico ’s unique and custom-crafted Titan Gray hull set this boat apart from all others, and I marveled at how such a flawless finish could be achieved in a barn in the middle of farm country. When I asked Gillespie and mate, Capt. Andrew Kennedy, what their favorite aspect of the boat was, both exclaimed in unison, “The ride.”

Bridge and Tower

Wasting no time, I settled in on the bridge in the Release Marine Trillion navigator chair as we made our way toward Lake Worth Inlet. Two supersize 24-inch Garmin multifunctional displays straddled the single-lever helm pod. An additional Furuno display was mounted on the port side of the electronics suite and was paired to an Omni sonar. The all-star lineup was rounded out with a Furuno radar, Garmin autopilot and Sirius ­satellite-weather module.

The flip-down box located in the overhead provided room for the MAN engine displays and both Icom VHF radios. Another box housed twin Miya Epoch Super US-9 teaser reels and an Optimus steering display. The bridge featured wraparound seating with storage below, topped by attractive pleated cushions, and the three-piece Lexan enclosure nearly eliminated any blind spots. Knowing Gillespie personally, as well as his impressive resume, proved to me that this bridge was the result of years of experience at the helm and was laid out in perfect form.

Before pushing offshore, I scaled the tower, noticing that no expense was spared in this build: a Rupp triple-spreader Bigg Rigg outrigger system, recessed LED navigation lights, and forward and aft molded-in LED spreader lights that could provide daylight conditions on deck at the flip of a switch; up top found a near-full helm setup with Twin Disc controls, a Garmin display and a ­comfortable seat.

Performance

As we cleared the inlet, Gillespie pushed up the controls, and the MAN V-12 2000s jumped to life as we quickly got up to cruising speed, making passes up and down the beach in all directions while the engines quietly sang under our feet. This was a chamber-of-commerce type of day for Palm Beach, with air temps in the mid-80s, winds hovering around 5 knots, and the seas exhibiting a long Atlantic swell. Hardly challenging for this Titan hull, although the boat was full of fuel, tackle and supplies for the trek across the pond.

At 70 percent load, turning 1,800 rpm, the combined speeds netted 32 knots while burning an average of 113 gallons per hour. Pushing it up to a robust cruise of 38 knots, the boat projected an 80 percent load, turned 2,150, and burned 164 gph. The top end turned 2,350 rpm for a speed of 42 knots burning 200 gph.

As we slowed down, Gillespie worked the controls to really get this 63 ­dancing. As we backed around on imaginary fish, he put her through the paces. Lunatico was not only quiet, but also quick and nimble. The throttles were effortlessly bounced between forward and reverse, and the boat spun around on a dime as you felt the 4,000 horses instantly transferring the commands to the CJR propellers—a most important feature when tournament fishing with an unpredictable fish close to the leader.

Cockpit and Mezzanine

Beneath the fighting chair and hidden under custom cutouts in the teak deck were livewell inflow and outflow ports for external tanks to seamlessly blend in, with no visible hardware on the deck. The Seakeeper 18 HD is housed in the lazarette, as well as the Optimus steering pumps and livewell pumps. With a double-hinged deck hatch, there is plenty of room to slip in and out to service the equipment. The transom box was set up as a fish box, but it could also double as a livewell if needed.

Mezzanine seating provides a good vantage point, and an air-conditioning vent blows directly onto the seating area to provide relief from the tropical heat. Within the step there was no lack of refrigeration; nearly every box could cool or freeze, depending on the crew’s needs, with an additional giant freezer located under the mezzanine seat itself. A 600-pound-per-day Dometic ice maker filled an ice box on the starboard side. And last, but certainly not least, a Garmin display was hidden in a flip-down hatch overhead, with the ability to stream the sonar information and keep an eye on a pending bite.

A L-shaped sofa commands the portside salon aft, and beautiful teak cabinetry and trim gave off a gentle satin sheen. The plush, light-colored carpet is soft under the feet, and a flat-screen TV—motorized to drop out of sight—is paired to a Bose theater system. The galley sports Amtico flooring, four refrigerator/freezer drawers under custom Corian countertops, a cooktop hidden beneath the counter forward, a stainless-steel undermount sink, and a convection microwave oven behind the cabinetry. One of the overhead panels possesses a latch and hidden hinge to reveal an impressive custom drop-down rod-storage locker with LED lighting to bank 14 custom rods, as well as rod butts—certainly an unexpected showpiece. Touches such as this are what make a custom build truly custom.

Down the companionway you’ll find a three-stateroom/three-head layout. The starboard side features a double split-bunkroom, the master stateroom sits on the port side with a full-size king bed, and all the staterooms employ cedar-lined hanging closets with plenty of storage. The generous master head contains a full stand-up shower with a molded seat. Moving forward, a full head is on the starboard side with a full-size Bosch washer and dryer directly across from it.

One of my favorite features of this build is the forward stateroom. Instead of a single VIP berth, Garufi created one of the largest bunkrooms I’ve ever been in. Two stacked beds are mounted to starboard, with a single bed port. The amount of room between the two feels like you could really stretch out without worry of getting in your bunkmate’s way. A private head is located here as well, as is plenty of storage, and all the natural light you can ­handle—or not—via an overhead Bomar safety hatch.

With more transoceanic plans ahead, Lunatico certainly checks all the necessary boxes needed for a traveling gameboat, including speed, range, space and storage. My first experience on a Titan was an extremely positive one, and Gillespie is certain she will be raising big fish for years to come. And based on her performance so far, I agree.

Motor Yacht

Titan is a custom motor yacht launched in 1968 by Brooke Marine in Lowestoft, United Kingdom and most recently refitted in 2009.

Titan measures 60.40 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.65 metres and a beam of 12.80 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 1,637 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.

Titan has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

At Bjorn Johansson Design our quest is for innovative design to create a yachting experience in which each moment, every moment is as fresh as the first encounter. In our journey with clients we seek to liberate their dreams with design excellence.

Titan also features naval architecture by Brooke Marine .

Titan has a top speed of 16.00 knots and a cruising speed of 15.00 knots. She is powered by a twin screw propulsion system.

Titan has a fuel capacity of 137,000 litres, and a water capacity of 54,000 litres.

She also has a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

Titan accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. She also houses room for up to 14 crew members.

Titan/Phi - 117m Motor Yacht Project by Oceanco

Titan is a 117m motor yacht concept by ablassadam-based (nl) oceanco shipyard..

The yacht has a beam of 15.30m and a draft of 3.70m. Her max. speed will be at approx. 18.5 knots. Titan accommodates 1 owner’s suite and 6 double guest cabins, enough space for a crew of 30 and a spacious luxury interior area of 1076 m². Titan’s outside area measures 930 m².

Two runabout tenders will be stored in the bow area under the helicopter touch and go landing pad. In the stern area are a big pool and a very large beach club. The design was made by Oceanco in-house, the naval architecture by BMT Nigel Gee.

Project PHI is based on TITAN but comes with some modifications developed in cooperation with PHI Beach.
