For nights not spent in a marina, there are myriad pretty anchorages to be found in secluded coves and sheltered bays all around the coastline of this spectacular island. Ornos Bay is a beautiful spot for dropping anchor for the night, with easy access to shore and local amenities.

For something a little more secluded, head to O. Foúrnos , a glorious anchorage surrounded by stunning blue waters, perfect for a spot of watersports followed by a heavenly lunch on board. This spot also contains ancient ruins on the shoreline, proving you are never far from history in this astonishing island.  Elia Beach meanwhile boasts the longest stretch of sands in Mykonos and has beautiful clear waters for snorkeling and scuba diving, making it an ideal getaway from the bustling tourists. Other excellent anchorage spots include the wind-surfers favorite Kalafati Beach , Agios Ioanis and the ultra hip party hotspot Super Paradise Beach . • As one of the biggest tourist destinations in Greece, it's also one of the most expensive. If you are visiting Mykonos as part of your Greece charter it's definitely worth bearing in mind that other islands in the archipelago will be substantially cheaper.
• Parties go on through the night in some of the biggest hotspots, especially on the popular beaches in the south, such as Super Paradise Beach, and probably best avoided if you are hoping to get some sleep.
• The Meltemi winds can blow very strongly, especially throughout August, which also happens to be Greece’s peak charter months. Possibly look to book in the shoulder months when the temperatures are equally agreeable but far less windy.
• Little Venice can get quite busy during summer, especially late afternoons when tourists file in to have a drink and watch the sunset. This is also true of the world-famous hilltop windmills around Mykonos Town, so be sure to arrive before the rush to secure a good spot.
• All the cobbled streets in Mykonos Town are pedestrian-only, which can prove an issue for some with limited mobility. 
• When visiting Mykonos’ religious sites, it is advisable to dress respectfully.

We strongly advise booking your yacht charter in Mykonos at least three months in advance to ensure you get the yacht you desire. The longer you wait, the fewer choices you will have.

You'll find that there is a yacht to suit almost every budget in Mykonos so rest assured that you will find a vessel suitable to your requirements.

But when booking do keep in mind the costs that aren't included in the base rate, namely VAT and the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance). The APA is usually paid in advance of the charter and is commonly set at 30% of the charter fee. This allowance covers expenses such as fuel, berthing, food and drinks, as well as any special requests. 

Please consult your yacht charter broker in Mykonos for any other costs you may need to factor in.

For most yacht rentals in Mykonos to be secured, you will usually need to provide a completed charter agreement and 50% of the charter fee as a deposit. This becomes payable once the contract has been signed.

Take a day off away from the hustle of Mykonos. Our tour starts from the southwest side of Mykonos, in Agios Ioannis .

We sail to the southern part of Mykonos passing by from Ornos , Psarou and Paraga beach until we anchor at the famous Paradise Beach where you can have your first refreshing dive. Then we hoist the sails and head to the nearby islands of Delos and Rhenia .

At Rhenia we will stop at a secluded beach with crystal clear water, grab a pair of goggles to explore underwater life or enjoy a glass of wine while our crew prepares for you a Greek meal.

After that we can visit Delos` archaeological site or extend our stay on another quite spot at Rhenia island. On the way back to the port we can capture amazing views of the sunset.

FAKINOS KONSTANTINOS

Captain and ceo.

Konstantinos Fakinos is a highly qualified and certified Commander with expertise in operating boats up to 24 meters in length. He has undergone extensive training under the Greek Navy Seals and has served in the Greek Special Forces as a member of the Green Berets, specializing in underwater demolitions.He has been trained from the Hellenic Ministry of Shipping and Maritime Affairs (2019) in Survival – Search and Rescue in to the open sea. He has also received specialized training from the Greek 6th fire department and the European Security Academy (ESA 2020) and is a skilled rescuer and member of Civil Protection.

Konstantinos holds various diplomas, including those in night diving, cavern diving, rescue diving, Nitrox, and parachuting. His divemaster diploma is DM-324485. He has received degrees in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the European Rescusciation Council, Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians in Cooperation with the Committee on Trauma of the American College of Surgeons, and Basic Life Support in Obstetrics from the Hellenic Society of Obstetric and Gynecologic Emergency, all of which attest to his expertise in emergency medical care.

He has also completed a session on Wilderness Emergency Care in Remote Locations from the American Academy on Orthopaedic Surgeons and Emergency Care & Safety Institute in March 2023. Furthermore, he is an experienced instructor in kiteboarding, rock climbing, free diving, scuba diving, and spear fishing, with over nine years of experience in teaching these skills to others.

As an added measure of preparedness, Konstantinos has a defibrillator and other medical equipment available on “Zeus” ( Leopard 80 ft ), ensuring he is ready to respond to any emergency situation that may arise.

“Absolutely Stunning 5 hour Private Boat Tour. We (six adults) rented a 10 meter boat in June 2018 from Don Blue Prime Yachting. Our Captain Thanos was fantastic. During the first three hours, he gave us a tour of the southern beaches of the Island of Mykonos, The remaining two hours were spent at a smaller island, with a secluded beach, with crystal clear waters, that can only be reached by boat. The island is inhabited with about 10 local families. There, we were served sandwiches, fruits, and beverages. Finally, throughout the 5 hour tour, our Captain Thanos played awesome Greek music. We would definitely do this again and recommend the boat tour to our friends.“

• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

I cant recommend this tour highly enough. I asked a friend to recommend one thing to do with limited time in Moscow and he said, check out the metro. I did one better, and went on this individual tour yesterday with my very well informed guide, Alina. She took me to a number of stations and explained the history, politics and meanings behind the different sculpures and artworks in a way that made the whole experience far more meaningful than getting on and off the metro without guidance would have done. I had a really fantastic time and was thoroughly impressed. To top it all off, we had lunch and Alina suggested some great things for me to do, even whatsapping me maps, suggestions, and internet links. Today she followed up by messaging me to ask how my day was going and if I had any questions about the city, or recommendations for places to eat, etc. A great tour, a lovely guide and a fantastic experience. My son and myself visited Moscow for a holiday in April 2018. And we had selected this fantastic tour. Our Guide Mrs. Julia came sharp at 10.00 AM even though she was not feeling well and had sore throat. Thereafter she took us to many Metro stations. Though I had already visited Moscow last year and seen all these stations, she gave phenomenal historic background and many interesting facts. She was almost fluent in English and and a good knowledge of Russian Culture, food and many other things. Overall we enjoyed thoroughly and I will highly recommend this tour with Julia if possible. Our Tour booked for 26 December 2017 was absolutely amazing. Our guide Julia picked us up from our Hotel in St Peterburg on time in a luxury minivan. Thanks to Julia we were able to see most of the tourist attractions that day. She went out of her way for us to make our day special. She had a vast knowledge of all the places that we visited. Lunch was special in a typical Russian restaurant with food from the region. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Picked up in the hotel lobby by our guide, Lylie, who then walked us to the closest Metro. She walked/trained us to 13 different stations and then explained the history of the metro and the significance of the decor in each station. We had plenty of time to photo, view the decor, watch and ride the trains and observe the people coming and going with their daily affairs. The art work/mosaics/sculptures/stained glass/ marble all had a role to play in presenting the history of communist Russia. The Russian metro well deserves the title of the most interesting and outstanding metro in the world. Lylie then took us to lunch, advised us on menu choices and their significance in the Russian culture and was very happy answering our questions on how the younger generation is responding to the new Russia. We had an outstanding guide, a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this tour over and above other tours which merely include a visit to a small number of stations.
