The multi-award winning 70m/229'8" motor yacht 'High Power III' (ex. Numptia) was built by Rossinavi in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Salvagni Architetti and she was completed in 2011. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Design Studio Spadolini and she was last refitted in 2020.

High Power III has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

High Power III is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. The lovely Numptia Superyacht is up for sale

The Italian shipyard Rossinavi Yachts has built the Numptia Superyacht for the Burgess Corporation. This marvel of sailing comprises up-to-date engineering, unique design, extravagant appearance and 70 meters of unbelievably great sailing experience, thanks to the multitude of top-level experts that put them together.

All these include inspiration from the naval architectural crew at Axis Group Yacht Design, the interior was realized by Salvagni Architetti of Rome, while the exterior was drawn by Design Studio Spadolini in Florence.

With an autonomy of 7,500 nautical miles, cruise speed of 16 knots and maximum sailing speed of 19 knots, the Numptia can accommodate 12 guests in six different suites: full beam master suite, VIP suite, three queen-sized double guest rooms and a twin guest cabin.

All decks can be accessed via an extravagant circular staircase and an elevator runs throughout the heart of the vessel. All of this is based on private cruising and charter. Kaleidoscope entertainment systems can be provided on-demand, for a unique audio visual experience. For surplus fun, the ship is equipped with a load of watersports equipment as well as a touch-and-go helicopter system.

With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the yacht is divided into four decks. The lower deck contains the guest cabins. The main deck comprises tall windows, for a breathtaking view over the ocean, luxurious central bar, dining area and galley. To give it an antique aspect, the bas-relief dining room is decorated with relic-like objects.

The main deck is the main area of the ship, consisting of a central bedroom, a television area, a reading and study room, plus other comfort amenities like two her/his dressing-rooms, big bathroom with a central bathtub and a shower area. In addition, the VIP room is fully-equipped with entertainment utilities. One can also find a library and an al-fresco dining area.

The sun-deck is the “fun” place of the ship; open air entertainment can take place here, tunable into a party spot, with the help of the two disco-lights. The vessel also contains a spa deck, with sauna, steam-room and a fully-equipped gym area. Outside, on the same deck, there are sunbeds for lounging around, plus a barbecue area and a bar. All these offer the ship uniqueness and a lot of style.

You can buy all this for about $85,000,000. Or, a simple charter is available with Burgess, at weekly costs of $690,000 per week during the high-season and $645,000 during the low season.

70 metre superyacht NUMPTIA - sold

The award-winning fully custom 70 metre motor yacht NUMPTIA was delivered at the end of July 2011 and has been sold by Burgess to a client of the company.

NUMPTIA was built and designed for an experienced owner who specified a yacht to an exacting brief with top levels of workmanship from all those involved in the project. Built by Rossinavi, with naval architecture by Axis Group Yacht Design, exterior design by Design Studio Spadolini and interior design by Salvagni Architetti, the skills, talent, flair and uniqueness of the chosen Italian team is evident throughout the yacht which represents a spectacular home on the water.

NUMPTIA was represented for sale and charter by Burgess as Worldwide Central Agents since her launch and the sale was achieved less than a year after the yacht was delivered. The yacht was also under operational management with Burgess.

NUMPTIA recently received the Judges Special Award for 'Interior Design with the Widest Appeal' at the World Superyacht Awards in Istanbul.

NUMPTIA will not be available for charter under her new ownership and will be re-named.

Burgess sells Rossinavi superyacht Numptia

Hot news as Burgess calls to say they closed on the sale of the the 70m motor yacht Numptia today to a direct client.

She was built by Rossinavi in 2011 with exterior styling by Design Studio Spadolini and naval architecture by Axis Group.

Vast interior spaces and intelligent design offer the height of luxurious living in a modern, light and understated elegance. Her stylish Italian interior by Salvagni Architetti is contemporary and calm and creates an overall feeling of pure, stylish simplicity.

Numptia offers a spectacular variety of large exterior deck areas, which offer guests the perfect platform for relaxing in peace and quiet or entertaining on a grand scale. The owner’s meticulous attention to detail is reflected in a truly fantastic, dedicated spa deck, complete with beauty salon, massage room, sauna, Turkish bath and a fully equipped gymnasium.

Numptia accommodates 12 guests in six spacious guest cabins (full beam master suite, VIP suite, three queen-size double guest cabins and one twin guest cabin). All decks can be accessed via an expansive circular staircase and a glass elevator which links four decks runs through the heart of the yacht. Designed with charter and private cruising in mind, all guest areas enjoy state-of-the-art audio visual facilities including full Kaleidescape on-demand entertainment systems.

Numptia Super Yacht

Those in the market for a megayacht are already familiar with the 70-meter (229-foot) Numptia. There isn’t a luxury yachting magazine on the planet that hasn’t noticed it. Some at the upper end allocated as much as 25 pages of opulence-oozing imagery and painstaking scrutiny of every minute fact to this steel-hulled, aluminum-structured floating residence.

And those who didn’t get enough of Numptia in the printed media, had an opportunity to view it at the 21st Monaco Yacht Show in September, where it was hailed as one of the highlights among the 100 top meagayachts from around the globe.

The vessel launched in April in Genoa, after a three-year building process. It was completely custom-built for an unnamed Italian-born American businessman who wanted it for his multi-generational family.

Two specific things about Numptia have attracted the interest of the yachting world. Every aspect of Numptia was custom-created with the highest, most exquisite quality of design, materials, craftsmanship and functional performance. Even in the megayacht circles, this kind of grandeur and obsessive attention to quality and detail are rare.

The other unusual aspect is the fact that the owner selected a relatively unknown shipyard, Rossinavi Yachts of Viareggio to build it, and a little-known designer Salvagni Architetti of Rome to design the interiors.

Working closely with the owner, Achille Salvagni combined modern sensibilities with touches of traditional luxury to achieve a timeless feel of well-being. Every piece of furniture, every surface treatment, every doorknob and hinge was custom-designed for Numptia. Silk carpets woven in Tibet, solid marble in the steam bath, quartz floors in the galley, and an oval dining table covered in riveted alpaca nickel silver are just a few examples.

Exterior design of the vessel was completed by Design Studio Spadolini of Florence.

Numptia features lavish rooms for up to 12 guests and includes an impressive master suite, a VIP suite, three queen-size double cabins and one twin stateroom. The owner’s suite includes a bedroom, TV area, reading room, his and hers dressing rooms and a bathroom with the solid-marble bath. Numerous common areas, sundecks, a spa deck plus crew accommodations and all behind-the-scenes space complete the spacious picture.

Numptia is available for charter through Burgess for about $646,000 per week, and for sale for an undisclosed price, rumored to be around $85 million. – Tuija Seipell

Motor Yacht HIGH POWER III (ex Numptia) is a 70 metre Rossi Navi vessel launched from the Italian shipyard in Viareggio in April, 2011. Superyacht HIGH POWER III was designed by Design Studio Spadolini and her interior design is the creation of Studio Salvagni.

The Rossi Navi FR020 hull HIGH POWER III (ex Numptia) has a steel hull and marine grade aluminium superstructure. The 70 metre M/Y HIGH POWER III is powered by twin 3516 B DITA-SCAC Caterpillar engines. Numptia can reach a top speed of over 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, at a full load. Her large tanks holding 200,000 litres of fuel and 40,000 litres of water enable her to have a long cruising range.

The 70m displacement HIGH POWER III yacht features stunning, curvaceous lines with a dark navy blue hull and white superstructure. Large windows and floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors ensure a smooth indoor/outdoor flow and excellent views.

The Unique Burial of a Child of Early Scythian Time at the Cemetery of Saryg-Bulun (Tuva)

In 1988, the Tuvan Archaeological Expedition (led by M. E. Kilunovskaya and V. A. Semenov) discovered a unique burial of the early Iron Age at Saryg-Bulun in Central Tuva. There are two burial mounds of the Aldy-Bel culture dated by 7th century BC. Within the barrows, which adjoined one another, forming a figure-of-eight, there were discovered 7 burials, from which a representative collection of artifacts was recovered. Burial 5 was the most unique, it was found in a coffin made of a larch trunk, with a tightly closed lid. Due to the preservative properties of larch and lack of air access, the coffin contained a well-preserved mummy of a child with an accompanying set of grave goods. The interred individual retained the skin on his face and had a leather headdress painted with red pigment and a coat, sewn from jerboa fur. The coat was belted with a leather belt with bronze ornaments and buckles. Besides that, a leather quiver with arrows with the shafts decorated with painted ornaments, fully preserved battle pick and a bow were buried in the coffin. Unexpectedly, the full-genomic analysis, showed that the individual was female. This fact opens a new aspect in the study of the social history of the Scythian society and perhaps brings us back to the myth of the Amazons, discussed by Herodotus. Of course, this discovery is unique in its preservation for the Scythian culture of Tuva and requires careful study and conservation.
