Gremikha (formerly known as Yokanga) – is a Naval Base of Russia’s Northern Fleet. The base is located 280 km southeast of Murmansk, in the closed town of Ostrovnoy, Murmansk Oblast. Land communication with other settlements is not available, and G. is reachable by coastal ship or helicopter. The base was founded in 1941 as Yokanga Navy Base. Originally, it accommodated mine sweepers and later – diesel submarines. In 1962 the G. base was visited by N.S. Khrushchev, a Soviet Leader. In 1968 G. became the base for nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines known as Project 658 under the Soviet designation and as Hotel - class under the general NATO classification. In 1970 the base was modernized to accommodate the second generation ballistic missile submarines known as Project 667A Navaga under the Soviet designation and as Yankee - class under the general NATO classification. The G. base remains one of the main storage locations for spent nuclear fuel of the Northern Fleet submarines and the only site for liquid metal cooled nuclear reactor refueling. Since 2008 the base has mainly been used as a storage location for decommissioned submarines.

The seller states that the Land Yacht is in good overall condition. They state that everything is working as it should. The tires have been recently replaced. The only item that may need to be addressed after purchase is that the original air conditioner does work; however, it leaks. As always, we recommend a third-party inspection to verify the condition. 1999 Airstream Land 33' Class A Motorhome. GM V8 engine and GM chassis, very low miles, runs great.This was the one of the best gas models that Airstream sold in 1999, and everything is of the highest quality. Fully self contained, sleeps 6 in total. 1997 Airstream Land Yacht 33JLY Class A Gas Motorhome with only 57K miles and no slides. This low mileage breadbox motorhome has been very well taken care of and is in great condition. It has a convenient driver’s side entrance door with a power window as well as leather captain’s chairs with arm rests and a power driver’s seat. It also has cruise control, power heated mirrors, back up camera, in dash TV, surround sound and HWH automatic computerized leveling. There are day/night shades in the lounge and kitchen and night shades in the bedroom.  In the lounge area there is a jackknife sofa bed with removable arm rests, a leather swivel lounge chair with an end table, a booth dinette that converts to a bed with storage space underneath and lots of overhead storage compartments. The kitchen is equipped with a Wedgewood three burner stove top with hood, a Sharp convection microwave oven and a Dometic 8 cu.ft. double door refrigerator/freezer. It has a double basin stainless steel sink with sink covers, a single control faucet, a sprayer and a separate tap for filtered water. There is also a Fantastic roof vent with thermostat and rain sensor, a built-in spice rack, a pull-out pantry and lots of drawers and storage space.  The mid-coach bathroom has a sink, vanity, large lighted two door mirrored medicine cabinet, and a large enclosed one piece fiberglass hall shower with a skylight. Next to the bathroom is a mirrored wardrobe closet and a mirrored linen closet. The queen walk around bed has nightstands, mirrored cabinets surrounding the head of the bed and windows on all three walls. There is also a Panasonic TV and a corner make-up mirror with shelf.  The first thing you’ll notice about this unit is the aerodynamic frontend which helps with gas mileage. It is on a Chevrolet chassis and is powered by a Vortec 7400 L29 engine which produces 290 HP at 4K RPMs. It has a large 17’ patio awning and three window awnings, all of which have alumaguard covers to help protect them from the sun. There is a ladder and roof rack as well as 75 cu. ft. of basement storage. It has an Onan 5000 generator with 173 hours and a 4K lb trailer hitch and Remco trailer brake. It’s equipped with a 35K BTU furnace and two AC units, a 13,500 BTU unit and a 11,000 BTU unit, both with heat strips, as well as heated holding tanks, a 6 gallon water heater, a 50 Amp power converter and 30 Amp service. From front to back, the leather dashboard, driver and passenger seats and all leather furniture are in excellent condition. Solid oak dinette and upholstered bench seats are in very good condition. Solid oak cabinets throughout. Corian countertops. Stove and refrigerator/freezer are in excellent condition. Two large Cedar lined clothes hanging closets with steel safe. Toilet is brand new and the shower, sink and bathroom cabinetry are all clean and tight. Walk-around queen bed is VERY comfortable and bedroom has large windows on 3 sides and a new flat screen TV. Two TVs in the kitchen/living room area and two skylights with functioning blinds. Carpet is in good condition throughout. Two house air conditioners, plus dash air conditioner. Driver side door. Patio awning is like new. Chevy Workhorse drivetrain in great shape with less than 45,000 miles. Replaced in 2015: Roof re-sealed in 2015 (wasn't leaking). All new tires and breaks in 2015 with less than 150 miles on them now. Automatic step rebuilt 2015. Replaced in 2016: Replaced voltage regulator, all plugs and plug wires, all coils, alternator, injectors, universal joint and Carburetor on generator. Onan 50 amp generator has low hours. Replaced all batteries, two house and one starter. New flat screen TV in bedroom. Our mechanic has gone through it from end to end and replaced lots of big and little things and it is running like a top!
