Beaumaris Yacht Club Wedding – Muskoka

Lindsay & nick.

by Ryan Rowell

L indsay & Nick’s romantic wedding was held at the Beaumaris Yacht Club in Muskoka. They chose classic Muskoka themes for their wedding, from the blue blazers on the groomsmen to handmade in Muskoka moccasin shoes, worn by not only the bride and bridesmaid but the father of the bride too! Having the Rowell Photography team document a wedding at The Beaumaris Yacht Club was a real treat, the yacht club is steeped in so much history, opening its doors in the early days of 1912. The brides family has been spending summers at Beaumaris for over 100 years, and now Nick and Lindsay have their own special memories at the club. Nick and Lindsay’s wedding day preparations began at their cottages, and both bridal parties were ferried in four different classic wooden boats to the ceremony. These boats were gorgeous, and  remind me of the Greavette Boat Works and Chris Craft boats I have fallen in love with at the museums and boat shows in Port Carling and Gravenhurst.

The Beaumaris Yacht Club has a beautiful property facing west on the waters edge of Lake Muskoka, with amazing green docks trimmed in white edges. It is perfect for watching sunsets, and Nick and Lindsay did just that! They also ushered over 100 people on to the rocky cliff edges for a giant group photo!

This beautiful wedding day was photographed by the amazingly talented Luca and Amelia. We are beyond thrilled with their journalistic approach to the wedding. They captured the essence of Muskoka, a love story, and so many wonderful emotional moments.Working as a team they were able to show both sides of the story and found the fleeting moments that will be both timeless and cherished to look back upon.

Thank you Luca & Amelia for sharing your talent with all of us. Thank you to Lindsay and Nick for choosing our team to photograph your Beaumaris Yacht Club wedding.

Cheers & Congratulations!

The Beaumaris Yacht Club is a strictly private, family-oriented club located on Lake Muskoka, in Ontario, Canada. The Club of today has its roots in the early 1900's. The Beaumaris Golf and Tennis Association was formed in 1911 by local cottagers (mostly from Pennsylvania at the time) to lease a 5-hole golf course and tennis courts from the nearby Beaumaris Hotel. A new clubhouse was built in 1912, and the golf course was expanded to 9 holes. New tennis courts were completed in 1916, and by 1919, the golf course had expanded to 18 holes. At about the same time, the Beaumaris Yacht Club got its start. Originally founded (in about 1912) by US Congressman James Francis Burke, it operated as a sailing club until 1921. The BYC's present building was purchased in 1921, and the Club became a centre for social activities for the surrounding summer community. Despite ups and downs resulting from changes in ownership, two world wars, and the Great Depression, the two "clubs" were consolidated in 1946, and today, the Beaumaris Yacht Club offers its membership a variety of activities including golf, tennis, weekly sailing races, and social entertainment. In addition to top-notch golf and tennis teaching professionals, the Club staff also provides instruction in sailing, swimming, and lifesaving.

Is it worthwhile to fit a live IP camera within the blog such as Australia webcam?

Adding a live cam to your internet site is without a doubt an excellent idea to advertise your business and its features. It is not important if it is a business site of a sea side destination, a city service, an internet site of a restaurant or maybe a ski lift, or a site specifically for the tourism industry. A live webcam view will unquestionably have a favorable impact on the traffic on your website. In addition, the view from a live ip camera , for instance Australia :

  • adds to the content on the site and additionally allows the reception of the message;
  • captures visitors from several regions as well as improves the possibility of finding you on the Internet;
  • holds prospective customers on your site;
  • strengthens the trust of visitors in the viewed destination and even boosts its fame;
  • it assists the promotion activities of tourism plus restaurant firms - a live webcam might be a good addition to the internet site of a facility for rent, ski resort, swimming pool, museum, zoo, botanical garden and a lot of other exciting facilities;
  • facilitates to check quickly plenty of necessary info for visitors, for instance climatic conditions, vehicle parking condition and even traffic in a particular place;
  • assists in earning backlinks to your site - back-links leading to your site from several other places, which generally can mean more beneficial building of the position in Google;
  • can have educational significance if you intend to display different kinds of tourist attractions, e.g. nests of endangered species, breeding units, bodies of water, parks, and many others.

You are able to shoot whatever you want. You are basically confined solely by your will or... GDPR regulations. It's easy to add a live cam to your internet site.
