Marianas Yacht Club

Located in sasa bay, piti, myc is home to sailors of all skill levels from those who have crossed oceans to those new to the sport. ----.

Founded in 1969, MYC provides a safe well-regulated locale for pleasure sailing yachts, sailing dinghies, catamarans, paddleboards, kayaks, and more.

We are located on the United States Western most territory of Guam, approximately 3,300 miles West of Hawaii, 1,500 miles East of the Philippines and 1,550 miles South of Japan and welcomes visiting sailors and yachtsmen from around the World.

MYC's programs and events include our Youth Summer Sailing program led by US Sail Certified instructors.   Camps and clinics offer a wide range of choices from Learn-To-Sail classes to Racing Seminars.   Many of these programs are discounted for MYC members, and most are open to members and non-members.

Both our Annual Goodwill Regatta Laser racing between Guam and Japan and our Annual Guam-Rota Keelboat Race are annual and long standing traditions celebrating over 40 years! Across the years it has hosted international events, including Japan to Guam Race, the Auckland to Fukuoka Races, the Asia Pacific Laser Championships, two South Pacific Games.

Members of the Marianas Yacht club are our biggest asset and have a long tradition of volunteerism - this spirit strengthens the sense of community and keeps our cost structure affordable. Whether it is a club work party, a social activity, or race management - members are always willing to pitch in to make sure all feel welcome and leave with great memories.

Sumay Marina Adventure Center is your one-stop shop. We offer a variety of rental equipment from Party items (tables, chairs, grills, coolers, and canopies), to Water Sport Equipment (Paddle Boards, Kayaks, Hydro Bikes, etc.), camping gear, games, and more.  Please click the link on this page to see the complete list of equipment and gear we offer.

Attention boat/watercraft owners:  Sumay Marina has 2 boat launch ramps available and is accessible 24-hours a day. Additionally, we rent both wet-slips and dry-storage pads through our office. Need Fuel for your boat or watercraft? We sell gas and diesel fuel to all authorized patrons between the hours of 08:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Mon-Sun except for Wednesdays.

Stop by our location at Sumay Marina Naval Base Guam Bldg. 1985 for inquiries and rentals. We look forward to your visit.

Looking to take in some nice relaxing views and enjoy the ambiance of the water and ocean breezes? Come to Clipper Landing on the 2nd floor of the Sumay Marina to enjoy some local dishes and some refreshing beverages. We are open from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. for lunch and 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. for dinner, Fridays and Saturdays.

Authorized under Public Law 17–7, the marina operational functions were transferred from the Department of Parks and recreation to PAG in the early 1980's. This gave the Port Authority responsibility of managing and maintaining the Agana Boat Basin, now known as Gregorio D. Perez Marina, and other future recreational boating marinas. Today the Port owns and operates four recreational boating marinas with over 150 dock slip leased to various tenants.

Gregorio D. Perez Marina

is located in Guam's capital city, Hagåtña. The marina is owned and operated by the Port Authority and houses recreational and some small commercial vessels.

Agat Marina

is located in the Southern Village of Agat. A privately operated restaurant and gift shop are located on the Port owned property. The marina was constructed in 1992 and houses residential, recreational and some commercial vessels.

Aquaworld Marina

is located in the inner Cabras Island area. It is a privately run marina under management agreement with the Port housing residential, recreational and commercial vessels.

Harbor of Refuge

is located near Aquaworld and is also managed by a private company.

They say that it will take about 100,000 articles to cover the full scope that they have envisioned for the website. They have over 20,000 articles so far and that's doing pretty well, but it could take several years to get the rest. I also noticed that many of the Main Topic Pages and some of the article pages are still in the rough draft stage. I guess that they will fill in as they can get volunteers to work on them. Micronesian Divers Association (MDA) , Guam has been in business for more than 40 years. We are one of the top five PADI diving training centers in the Americas and last year registered more than 4,000 certifications. We have exceeded a historical 78,000 certifications mark. Additionally, in 2011 we certified the 20,000,000th PADI open water diver worldwide. We are the largest PADI 100% Project Aware facility in Micronesia.

We offer the highest quality and service in dive training, travel, wholesale, retail, rental, repair, boat operations shipping, and distribution. MDA has also maintained the contract for dive training and equipment sales for the U.S. Navy Exchange Services on Guam for nearly 17 years.

We maintain the largest dive and adventure travel operation in Micronesia as well as the most complete SCUBA equipment repair facilities within the region offering training from Discover SCUBA diving through technical rebreathers and programs in-between.

The Queen Malesso Has It All

“Stay at the Queen Malesso. Make Yourself at Home”

Built as a 49 passenger glass-bottom transfer vessel for Cocos Island resort. Operated until sinking in 1976 during typhoon Pamela. Upon being raised to the surface, she was deemed uncertifiable for commercial operations. She was bought and taken into Sumay Cove. She was converted into a 2- bedroom houseboat.  Sold to the present owner in 2004, she was moved to Harbor of refuge where she stayed until being relocated back to Merizo in 2011 after being gone for 35 years.
