Vessel Walkthrough and Details

As you step onto the swim platform, port and starboard stairs invite you up to the teak aft deck, which features a large teak table surrounded by a comfortable all weather upholstered settee and four deck chairs, and a drop TV overhead. A look forward and to port there is a stairway leading up to the grand flybridge and boat deck. Wrapping around on either side of the vessel are comfortably wide full side decks with bulwarks that lead to the spacious bow or side doors to enter the yacht.

Entering from the aft deck, large stainless steel framed sliding glass doors part to allow you access, revealing an elegant and grand salon. Warm rich teak and maple flooring caress your steps inside where you see a long thick granite top wet bar at table height and 2 luxurious chairs. The custom tile floor area behind the wet bar is dipped twelve inches. There is ample custom storage in cabinets located inside the wet bar area on either side for glassware, libations bottle storage, a petit 24 bottle Sub Zero wine cooler, and numerous bar supplies and tools. A door inside and aft of the wet bar leads to a stairwell down to the fourth guest/crew luxurious stateroom with accompanying head and the impressive engine room. A 42" TV mounted above the long wet bar allows for clear visibility throughout the salon out at the surrounding vast water views. On the starboard side of the salon is a large custom-made soft saddle Natuzzi leather sofa with 3 sections individually controlled by easily reached and hidden power controls for custom reclining of the body, feet and head to indulge in perfect comfort. Within reach sit two lovely black sturdy cocktail tables each topped with gorgeous golden wood trays. A matching custom-built storage cabinet sits forward providing ample storage for dinnerware and dining supplies which would be used forward and to port at the rich custom mahogany round dining table, surrounded by four elegant dining chairs in matching soft saddle Natuzzi leather. Forward of this are elegant glass door display cabinets framed in mahogany and mappa burl.

Stepping one step up and forward from the salon and through the bulkhead, is the galley which has been highly customized with spectacular additional storage cabinetry and upgraded appliances. Featuring a large center island of rich wood cabinets and thick stone granite top, matching the countertops surrounding the galley area and brightly lit by recessed lighting underneath the center wood dropdown cabinets above. The forward dinette is custom made with a port side built in buffet, also having the matching thick stone granite tops of the galley. The dinettes half fold up leaf mahogany & burl dining table, allows the option of additional space in the already spacious dining area in this location. There are port and starboard access doors to the side decks and large glass windows which allow for that large open feel of surrounding waterviews.

Forward to starboard is a stairwell leading down to the luxurious owner’s suite and guests accommodations. Aft is the well-appointed full beam master suite with standard king size berth, his and hers heads en suite in marble, connected via large glass and marble shower at center. Adjacent is the owner's office/lounge that can be closed off for added privacy. This area is completely customized featuring a built-in mahogany desk with flip-down cover, bookshelves with TV and a lovely and comfortable upholstered L-shaped sofa. Across the companionway to starboard from the master suite is the guest stateroom with upper and lower berths in richly designed nautical covers. Forward to port is the guest head with stall shower, exotic stone floor tiles, rich wood cabinets and alabaster onyx countertop. All the way forward is the VIP guest stateroom with queen size berth and ensuite head and stall shower, also featuring gorgeous stone floor tiles, warm wood cabinetry and alabaster onyx countertop.

There are two access stairways to the open flybridge from either the aft deck or the galley.

Master Suite:

The custom master suite, luxurious, king sized, and sophisticated, is warm and inviting. As you enter through the pocket door, there is a lounge/office area with a completely custom built-in desk, bookshelves, file & storage cabinets, L-shaped sofa and TV. Pass through another pocket door and you enter the grand master bedroom with a centerline standard (76"x 80") king size bed, marble his & her heads, two large cedar lined hanging lockers, port & starboard built-in dressers and a vanity with stool. On either side of the king bed are the built-in end tables with four drawers each. Rich high gloss zebra wood is on the aft bulkhead and the platform of the master berth. Triple bullnose mahogany molding overhead surrounds the head and foot of the bed. Port and starboard aft are his and hers heads separated by a large glass and marble stall shower with 3 individually controlled body wash shower heads in addition to the standard shower. The custom marble tile floors and Plexiglas mirrored ceilings.

Concealed within a cabinet in the companionway just outside of the master suite entry is the laundry with full-sized front-loading side by side Whirlpool washer and dryer with laundry supply compartment above.

Bridge and Boat Deck

The flybridge is accessed from either the aft deck or from the galley. It features a centerline helm station, forward, served by two top of the line adjustable Crown LTD chairs on stainless steel pedestals. The helm chair is electric, and the companion chair is manually adjustable. A wet bar with three Crown LTD stools with backs, to port, aft of the helm, creates a casual entertainment area. Forward to starboard is a built-in Marvel refrigerator. Molded fiberglass seating, port and starboard farther aft allows for easy conversation and includes cavernous storage beneath. A fully integrated hardtop and full glass forward windshield with wipers along with side EZ2CY panels, aft Strataglass enclosure and air conditioning make this a versatile area in all climates.

The boat deck includes custom lounge seating and a Gaggenau double barbecue grill. An upgraded 1500 lb. Steelhead hydraulic davit services the Walker Bay 400 13 ft tender with 50 Hp and only 20 Hours on Yamaha outboard motor all new in 2022.

Exterior Finish and Construction

Hatteras Yachts are built with solid fiberglass below the waterline and a closed cell foam core above utilizing resin-infusion which provides a more uniform hull thickness and an ideal resin to glass ratio. There is no organic material used in the structure of their yachts which is one of the reasons Hatteras Yachts are noted for their longevity, ease of maintenance and resale. Unlike most of the competition, Hatteras applies a painted finish in Alexseal Cloud White to their hull and topsides. Although this is a more expensive way of building, the finish is far superior to gelcoat and will hold its gloss for a much longer period of time with less maintenance.

Aft Deck The aft deck has a varnished teak table with leaf inserts and seating for ten guests. There is a varnished teak bar to starboard with tan Corian countertops. A long cream-colored couch extends along the aft area, it has a permanent sunshade installed over it and is facing towards a 60” TV that lowers from the ceiling on an actuator. There are doors that close leading to the companionways and the aft deck side windows open for controlled air flow. The gate to starboard leads to the passerelle and the stairwell to port leads to the swim platform.

Feadship 45 meter motor yacht ENDLESS SUMMER was sold by Hunter Britt and Brent Johnston of H Hilton Yacht & Ship representing the seller, and Victor Iliadis of Marine Marketing introducing the buyer, after being on the market for 502 days. 

This Custom Feadship was built in steel in 1991, after an exterior design and naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects . She is powered by twin 950Hp G.M. engines, which allow a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 14 knots.

VESSEL REVIEW | Sinichka – Electric commuter boats designed for Russia’s Moskva River

A series of three new electric monohull commuter ferries have already begun operational sailings on the Moskva River in the Russian capital Moscow.

Built by Russian shipyard Emperium, sister vessels Sinichka , Filka , and Presnya – all named after rivers in Moscow – are being operated by the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development (Moscow Deptrans). They are the first units of a planned fleet of 20 vessels that will serve the capital city and other nearby communities. The new ferry system will be the water transport system to be operated on the Moskva River in 16 years.

Each vessel has a welded aluminium hull, an LOA of 21 metres, a beam of 6.2 metres, a draught of only 1.4 metres, a displacement of 40 tonnes, and capacity for 80 passengers plus two crewmembers. Seating is available for 42 passengers on each ferry, and the main cabins are also fitted with USB charging ports, wifi connectivity, tables, toilets, and space for bicycles and scooters. The cabin layout can be rearranged to allow the operator to adjust the distances between the seats and to install armrests of varying widths.

An open upper deck is also accessible to passengers and is the only area on each ferry where smoking is allowed.

The ferries are all of modular construction with each ferry’s wheelhouse, main cabin, and other structural elements being built as complete, separate components. This enables the ferries to be easily dismantled for transport to anywhere in Russia by rail and then quickly re-assembled within seven days.

The ferries are also ice-capable. Recently completed operational trials on the Moskva showed that the vessels can also easily navigate under mild winter conditions with broken surface ice, though year-round operations are planned for the entire fleet.

The ferries are each fitted with 500kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs that supply power to two 134kW motors. This configuration can deliver a maximum speed of 11.8 knots, a cruising speed of just under 10 knots, and a range of 150 kilometres.

Emperium said the transfer of rotation of electric motors to the propeller is carried out by direct drive. As a propulsion installation, a pulling rotary propeller-steering column with double screws is used. The installation of double pulling screws, with similar power, allows an operator to increase the efficiency of the propulsion system to deliver a slightly higher speed or to reduce energy consumption. This arrangement also provides the ferries with enhanced manoeuvrability necessary for navigating in close quarters.

The batteries themselves have projected service lives of 10 to 12 years and are fitted with safety features such as built-in fire extinguishers and gas vents. Quick-disconnect features allow the batteries to be easily removed for replacement or maintenance.

Some of our readers have expressed disquiet at our publication of reviews and articles describing new vessels from Russia. We at Baird Maritime can understand and sympathise with those views. However, despite the behaviour of the country’s leaders, we believe that the maritime world needs to learn of the latest developments in vessel design and construction there.

The Bolshoi ballet company is reputed to be even better than the Mariinsky’s and “MMOMA” (Moscow’s museum of modern art) exhibits works of art as profound as any that could be found in the famed MOMA.

Convenience: Unlike the rest of Russia, it’s easy enough to get by with just English in Moscow and, driving excepted, it is surprisingly safe: the murder rate is lower than in some of America’s major cities.

For more than 100 years, the world’s biggest bell has been hidden behind the Kremlin’s walls and inside Moscow’s main park (which is bigger than some countries!) there is the world’s largest outdoor ice-rink. Ancient Past & Stunning Architecture:

As those who travel to Moscow will see, just because Moscow is a city of record-breaking, glitzy high-rises doesn’t mean that there is no history. On the famous Arbat street, time-worn, wooden storehouses and century-old churches are squashed up against grey, soviet blocks which are then towered over by 21st century office-blocks. Unlike its much younger sibling, St Petersburg, Moscow’s roots stretch way back to the 12th century. Within the walls of the Kremlin, the city’s oldest building the Cathedral of Assumption can be admired in all its 500+ years of age.

For a foreigner who has never visited Russia, Moscow is the perfect stepping stone into this great land of mystery. From the country’s best classical ballet troupes to snow-white troikas trotting through the parks, all the highlights of Russian culture can be had in Moscow without any of the complications that would be expected in other, less developed regions of Russia.

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

We had a great time both in Moscow and St Petersburg. Your travel agency was excellent in coordinating the whole trip. Everything worked like clockwork. The guides assigned to us were very nice and friendly. They had a great knowledge of their subjects. The cars and the drivers were great. The hotels were good and the itinerary was good.
