De Vries Lentsch
De Vries Lentsch is begonnen in 1874 als bouwer en ontwerper van houten roeiboten voor de haven van Amsterdam. De haven lag in het noorden van Amsterdam en heeft daar ontelbare hoeveelheid aan reddings boten gebouwd, vooral na de ramp van de Titanic. Daarna is de Vries Lentsch begonnen met bouwen en verkopen van zeil- en motor jachten die hun een wereldwijde reputatie reputatie opleverde. Na de tweede wereld oorlog participeerde de haven in de Feadship organisatie en produceerde een serie van high class motor jachten in jaren 50. In 1960 heeft de ontwerp en design afdeling zich gescheiden van de haven en dat resulteerde in de start van De Vries Lentsch Yacht Designers & Naval Architects. Sinds die dag zijn er meer dan duizend ontwerpen geproduceerd. Alle projecten hebben de herkenbare De Vries Lentsch style meegekregen!

Hedendaags houdt de Vries Lentsch zich bezig met het ontwerpen van: zeil- en motor jachten; speciale hoge snelheidsvaartuigen zoals salvage-, piloot-, patrouille- en reddingsboten. De ontwerpafdeling bevat alle grote design disciplines zoals exterieur en interieur styling, scheepsbouwkunde, engineering en supervisie. Daarnaast hebben ze een afdeling voor refit projecten, voornamelijk bedoeld voor jachten die ontworpen of gebouwd zijn door De Vries Lentsch.
Sterkenburg Yacht Brokers heeft regelmatig gebruikte schepen van de Vries Lentsch in bemiddeling. Zoals gezegd heeft De Vries Lentsch veel verschillende ontwerpen gemaakt en gebouwd, zowel zelfstandig als in samenwerking met Feadschip.

De Vries Lentsch 'SIMMERDREAM'
Description.
The 1946 De Vries Lentsch Classic Round Bilge Motoryacht 'Simmerdream' is a stunning example of vintage yacht design and craftsmanship designed by De Voogt. With its elegant lines and comfortable interior, this yacht is a timeless eye-catcher.
When you step aboard the 'Simmerdream' you are standing at the beautiful outside helm position. Here you have the 105 hp DAF engine at your disposal. If you walk forward along the sides of the steering position, you will arrive at the cozy sitting area near the bow. Here you can enjoy the sun and the view over the water while sitting on the bench placed there.
As soon as you walk back forward from the sitting area and pass the steering position, you will arrive at the door leading to the owner's cabin. In this very private owner's cabin, there is a spacious detached double bed, an en-suite bathroom and a workshop has been created with a desk so that you can work here in peace or arrange other matters. In here you can also enjoy the cool air of the airconditioning.
Once you have returned outside, you can enter the spacious saloon through a door to the left of the steering position. Once inside you will see the second steering position right in front of you. The salon also has a large dining table with a three-person sofa and two chairs opposite it. If you walk past the steering position from the saloon, you will end up in the kitchen. This has a spacious counter top. Opposite the kitchen is the guest bathroom with a shower and toilet. Once you have left the bathroom, you will find the last room of the 'Simmerdream' on your left, namely the guest cabin with a classic V-bed.
The 'Simmerdream' is a beautiful timeless, yet classic De Vries Lentsch yacht. Ideal for weekends or longer times away on the water with family, friends or together.

...De Vries Lentsch Yachts B.V. has its origin in 1878 when De Vries Lentsch started as builder and designer of wooden rowing boats for the port of Amsterdam. The yard was situated at the North of Amsterdam and constructed an enormous number of life boats, particularly after the disaster of the Titanic, and started with the construction and sale of sailing yachts and motorboats which gained a worldwide reputation. After the second world war the yard participated in the Feadship organisation and produced a series of high class motor yachts in the 1950's. In 1960 the design department of the yard split off marking the start of De Vries Lentsch Yacht Designers & Naval Architects . Since then over a thousand designs have been produced. All the projects have a recognizable De Vries Lentsch style!

De Vries Lentsch Yachts B.V. has its origin in 1878 when De Vries Lentsch started as builder and designer of wooden rowing boats for the port of Amsterdam.
The yard was situated at the North of Amsterdam and constructed an enormous number of life boats, particularly after the disaster of the Titanic, and started with the construction and sale of sailing yachts and motorboats which gained a worldwide reputation.

In 1960 the design department of the yard split off marking the start of De Vries Lentsch Yacht Designers & Naval Architects. Since then over a thousand designs have been produced. All the projects have a recognizable De Vries Lentsch style!

This became known as Amsterdamsche Scheepvaart G. de Vries Lentsch Jr., the Nieuwendam yard was Scheepswerf 'Het Fort' G. de Vries Lentsch. Between 1927 and 1939, the company delivered a record number of 18-metre-plus yachts, including the first two yachts exceeding 30-metres.
