Yachts de Paris, Port de Javel - Paris

Yachts de paris, owned by sodexo group offers luxurious yachts as a venue to hire for private events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries as well as exclusive experiences and corporate events., there are 6 types of yachts to choose from depending on the size of the party and the event..

Decca worked together with the Sodexo Group to produce unique bespoke pieces, paired with items from Decca's standard collections for the luxurious 'Liberty Barge'   moored by the Port de Javel in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.

Sodexo invited Decca Furniture to manage the entire project, entrusting us with overseeing the interior design process. This included specification of the furniture, decorational pieces and upholstery items such as curtains and fabrics.

To create a cosy residential atmosphere, the finishes were comprised mainly of natural shades, ranging from light to dark, with red-undertones added to some which provided additional warmth. The largely neutral palette allowed for the use of contrast colours and geometric fabrics, creating further interest, while not detracting from the overall balance of the interior.

Liberty is a place that is both bright and welcoming, exuding a high-end residential ambiance that provides visitors with the feeling of being in their own private living room.

The retractable glass roof and the wide windows open up to reveal mesmerising views of Paris's landmark monuments, such as the Eiffel tower and the Statue of Liberty by Pont de Grenelle.

The main finishes used on the furniture were from the Decca Home standard collection. However, it was crucial we carefully considered their application to ensure they conformed with the existing  constructional elements on the barge, in particular the fitted millwork and upholstery pieces.

 One of the most notable bespoke pieces Decca produced was a large fitted bookcase.  Spanning practically an entire wall, it created a home office environment complete with boardroom table. There are two bookcases on the Liberty, one being located on the main deck and the other on the lower level.

The project lasted approximately five months from conception through to delivery.  Using our extensive knowledge and expertise of material finishes and manufacturing processes, Decca successfully guided Sodexo through the design development process.  As a result of this partnership, the two companies relationship is now well established subsequently leading to other projects, including Le Pré Catelan   in Bois de Boulogne, 2016.

(Boursier.com) — Sodexo annonce ce matin l'acquisition de 90% du capital de "Yachts de Paris", qui est l'une des marques phare sur la Seine, pour un montant d'environ 23 Millions d'Euros. L'entreprise "renforce ainsi sa présence au coeur de la capitale et complète son offre haut de gamme", intégrée dans la branche Loisirs, dirigée par Jean-Paul Fontan.

Les 8 yachts de la flotte (24 à 85 mètres) peuvent accueillir jusqu'à 800 personnes et adapter leurs parcours et leurs prestations pour des croisières totalement sur mesure. Marc Bungener, fondateur et directeur général de "Yachts de Paris", reste associé à Sodexo pour accélérer la croissance de l'entreprise.

July 26, 2022 - Factory Sport & Entertainment, Quarterback Group and Sodexo Live! – the former as lead agency of their ad hoc alliance – have been selected by the French Tennis Federation (FFT) as its exclusive marketing partners for Roland Garros and the Rolex Paris Masters hospitality programs from 2023 to 2026.

An alliance of recognized experts to enhance the international reputation of both Paris-based tournaments

As an alliance, the three experts in sports hospitality will power the national, European and global reach of Roland-Garros and the Rolex Paris Masters brands. The alliance’s experience in marketing and commercializing major sporting events and its ability to reach regular clients in France and worldwide through top marketing resources and an extensive client portfolio will ensure sales from the very start of its collaboration with the FFT. 

Quarterback and Factory Sport & Entertainment, long-time partners of the FFT, have joined forces with Sodexo Live!, notably due to the latter’s Sports Travel & Hospitality division (STH) which has international expertise in designing and marketing hospitality programs for the most prestigious sporting events. Since 2005, STH has notably worked for the last five Rugby World Cups and, more recently, the Australian Open. STH has thus become one of the most recognized players in this market. 

An increasingly exceptional and sustainable client experience

Sodexo Live!, Factory and Quarterback will use their expertise to help the FFT make the Roland Garros hospitality experience a world-class one. In addition to marketing, the alliance will offer a variety of hospitality packages with different experiences. Each package will have a unique feel and customized products for clients that reflect their image and brand.  

Additionally, the FFT can now offer clients additional hospitality packages to extend their experience outside Roland-Garros itself. This includes a collection of iconic venues marketed exclusively by Sodexo Live! like Le Jules Verne and Madame Brasserie at the Eiffel Tower, as well as the Yachts de Paris and the Bateaux Parisiens on the Seine.

Au 2e étage de la tour Eiffel, Le Jules Verne célèbre ses deux étoiles au Michelin : « Un moment formidable »

Le chef Frédéric Anton décroche cette nouvelle récompense, après avoir succédé à Alain Ducasse à la tête de ce restaurant mythique. Situé à 125 m de hauteur, dans le ciel de Paris, le Jules Verne est désormais le plus haut restaurant du monde doublement étoilé au fameux guide rouge.

Et de deux ! Le Jules Verne, célèbre restaurant gastronomique de la tour Eiffel, décroche pour la première fois de son histoire une deuxième étoile. L’établissement culminant à 125 m est aussi le plus haut du monde à avoir deux macarons au guide Michelin . Il doit cette consécration à son nouveau chef, Frédéric Anton, âgé de 59 ans.

Également à la tête du Pré Catelan (trois étoiles), en plein cœur du bois de Boulogne (XVIe) et du Don Juan II (une étoile), un bateau des yachts de Paris, ce meilleur ouvrier de France, ex-juré de « MasterChef », sur TF 1, crâne chauve et regard perçant, avait décroché une première étoile en 2020… Six mois seulement après avoir repris les rênes du mythique établissement avec sa vue imprenable sur le Champs-de-Mars, le quai Branly, le Trocadéro ou bien encore sur l’ingénierie mécanique de la dame de fer.

« Il y a cinq ans, nous partions d’une page blanche pour écrire un nouveau chapitre de l’histoire du Jules Verne, avec une ambition, voire une obsession : faire de la tour Eiffel une véritable destination gastronomique. Aujourd’hui, avec cette deuxième étoile au guide Michelin, c’est une très belle reconnaissance de tout le travail accompli et un encouragement à continuer dans cette direction », se réjouit Frédéric Anton, qui a travaillé avec Gérard Boyer au château des Crayères de Reims et Joël Robuchon, chez Jamin puis avenue Raymond-Poincaré, dans le XVIe.

Plus de six mois pour réserver une table

Cette nouvelle récompense ravit Henri et Brigitte, deux Lyonnais qui gardent un souvenir mémorable de ce déjeuner passé en tête à tête, dans un décor design et élégant, imaginé par l’architecte Aline Asmar d’Amman, avec Paris sous leurs pieds.

« Ma compagne m’avait fait ce cadeau pour mes 63 ans. L’accueil, le service souriant et attentionné, les conseils avisés du sommelier, les assiettes magnifiques et la cuisine raffinée, tout était parfait. J’ai passé un moment formidable. Seul petit bémol, il a fallu plus de six mois pour réserver une table », se souvient ce conseiller financier. Brigitte, elle, salive encore en se remémorant « ce cabillaud nacré, parfaitement cuit, et superbement dressé » ou le dessert au chocolat. « Les accords mets et vins étaient superbes », ajoute-t-elle.

Pour la mairie de Paris, cette deuxième étoile est la preuve qu’elle a fait le bon choix en confiant les fourneaux du célèbre établissement à Frédéric Anton. « À titre personnel, c’est avec beaucoup de bonheur que je vois les efforts et l’engagement total de l’incroyable Frédéric et de ses équipes, consentis depuis cinq ans et couronnés aujourd’hui. Et, pour la Tour, c’est la confirmation que ce chef à la cuisine créative et moderne était un excellent partenaire. Une nouvelle étape vient d’être franchie », se réjouit Jean-François Martins, président de la société d’exploitation de la tour Eiffel (la SETE).

En 2018, Frédéric Anton avait remporté avec Thierry Marx ( Madame Brasserie , au premier étage de la tour Eiffel), l’appel d’offres lancé par la mairie de Paris et succédé à Alain Ducasse , à l’issue d’ une compétition très médiatisée . Le chef multi-étoilé, qui détenait cette concession en association avec le géant français de la restauration collective, Sodexo, depuis 2007, avait vivement critiqué le choix de ce duo et saisi le tribunal administratif, mais il avait été débouté.

Frédéric Anton, lui, était bien déterminé à faire table rase du passé pour écrire une nouvelle page d’histoire de cet établissement construit en 1983 et baptisé en hommage au célèbre écrivain, porte-voix des progrès scientifiques du XIXe. Avec cette nouvelle récompense, il a réussi son pari.
