We personally prefer the long-sleeved linen shirts/coverups and comfortable shorts while on the catamaran. The linen dries fast, protects from the sun and keeps you cool at the same time!

Remember that the boat will be exposed to the sun and the elements, so it’s better to be over-prepared than under-prepared. A small daypack to keep your belongings safe and dry is also a good idea. 

Also, consider packing a light jacket, as the evening sea breeze can be chilly. The wind on Santorini is strong, but the wind on the water is even stronger, especially in the evening.

If you’re prone to motion sickness (or not sure), it’s a good idea to bring motion sickness medication with you if needed. While on the catamaran, the motion doesn’t really bother me, but I pack some meds with me just in case.

Lastly, pack some seasickness medication if you’re prone to motion sickness, as the waters around Santorini can sometimes be choppy.

You can choose between a morning tour and a sunset tour ̶ the morning tour starts from Ammoudi bay at 10:15 and ends at Vlychada port, whereas the sunset tour starts from Vlychada port at 15:15 and ends at Ammoudi port. Round trip transfers from and to your hotel are included in the price .

You will visit the world-famous volcano and have the chance to enjoy a unique swim in its hot springs which are known for their therapeutic benefits. You can try snorkeling while swimming in the crystal clear waters of Red Beach , probably the most popular beach in Santorini thanks to its extraordinary landscape and color. Snorkeling equipment, towels and jackets are available onboard. There is also an informative map and free Wi-Fi.

This was the highlight of our Santorini trip. We went in 4 (2 couples) and I found it perfect. Breathtaking views, amazing water, fabulous sunset, great view of the island and volcanos... perfect to relax, swim and enjoy. The staff is also impeccable, extremely professional, knowledgeable, very polite, impressive. The boat is also great, good space to relax, VERY well taken care of and super clean (and I am quite picky). Even food and wine were great! I would certainly recommend and do it again myself!

We did a private sunset cruise on the Tonina with our group of 13 and we loved it! We had an air conditioned mini coach to pick us us from our hotels and take us straight to the departure wharf. The crew – Petros, Sakis and Adriana – couldn’t do enough to make the whole experience fun, memorable and enjoyable! We swam at 2 locations (the pool noodles were great for floating around) and the drinks and dinner were plentiful! Watching the sun set over the ocean from the sea level was beautiful – different to watching it from the land. It was a very special experience and great value for money compared to the slightly larger catamarans and boats where we saw people packed on like sardines. Cant recommend it highly enough!

We booked this tour on the recommendation of our hotel staff, and it was the highlight of our vacation to Greece. We scheduled the sunset catamaran cruise for our family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 children ages 11-18). We were picked up at our hotel at 3:15 and enjoyed a private boat excursion all around the island, with stops for snorkeling and swimming, dinner prepared for us on board, and picture taking at sunset. Everything was spectacular, and worth every euro spent.
