X Shore creates high performance all-electric powered boats that are changing and charging the boat industry for a fossil free tomorrow. The boats are a result of Scandinavian design that blends with nature, Swedish maritime craftsmanship, innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology.

What modules are available?

For Eelex 8000 there are about 15 different ways to combine your modules. You can opt for a social module, with sofa and table that converts to a sun bed. There is a forward sun bed with ample storage and possibility to hold a porta potty. You can also opt for diving modules and fishing modules. The modularity makes the boat fit for any occasion. You can easily swap from one module to another depending on what you want to use the boat for on that day.

X Shore 1 is available in two different versions Open and Top, available in three specifications: Utility, Performance and Premium

Does the boat have solar panels? Why not, and could I buy them as an upgrade?

Currently no. A typical solar panel generates at best 400 W, which means it would take 315 hours of decent sunlight to fully charge the boat. Therefore, we don’t consider its effect efficient enough to prioritize as an option for now.

California yacht owner threatens to kill dock worker in vicious showdown, cali yacht owner threatens to kill dock worker drops pants for rude salute, 78 3/13/2024 8:09 am pt.

A California yacht owner's vicious beef with a dock worker has reached death-threat levels -- and their exchange was caught on camera and included a nude, and very rude, gesture!

Check out the clip ... it all unfolds when San Diego entrepreneur Ajay Thakore swings by the swanky Marriott Marquis Marina in his rare $4.5M Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht to pick up one of his employees -- but things boil over when dock worker Joseph Holt tells him he can't be there.

Thakore, the CEO of medical advertising firm Doctor Multimedia, flips out on Holt big time ... and starts spewing threats like, "I will kill you, you know I will kill you, I will kill."

And it doesn't stop there -- as Thakore's pulling out of the harbor, he drops trou to make a full frontal salute in Holt's direction. Stay classy, San Diego!

Holt's only retaliation was flipping the bird, and he later told CBS8 that was all he could do to keep his cool and avoid escalating the situation.

Holt says parts of the altercation were not captured on camera, and he adds ... Thakore not only threatened to kill him, but also claimed to have connections who could totally mess up his life.

Holt also says Thakore pulled out $100 bills and tossed them at him, even chucking some in the water.

BTW, Thakore's done some backpedaling since the ugly exchange -- he now says, "The interaction that occurred yesterday was regrettable. What started as a minor misunderstanding escalated into an argument, and I apologize for my actions and to those who witnessed the unfortunate exchange."

FWIW ... One of Thakore’s employees claims the whole thing began because other dock workers blocked him from boarding the yacht.

Oh, and if that fancy Lambo yacht looks familiar -- it's the same one Chuck Liddell recently tumbled off just last month. Now it's famous AND infamous!

The Ferretti Group, one of the world top companies specializing in the design, building and sale of motor yachts, with an amazing portfolio of eight of the most exclusive and prominent brands, is thrilled to announce its participation in the Moscow Boat Show 2013. From 12 to 17 March, two of the Group fleet’s most successful yachts will be presented as absolute premieres for the Russian market: motor yacht Ferretti 530, representing Ferretti Yachts , and the 27-foot Iseo superyacht tender by Riva .

This year’s Moscow Boat Show will also offer the Ferretti Group the opportunity to announce all yachting enthusiasts in Russia and Northern Eurasia a new important achievement in its international growth: the renewal of its exclusive dealership agreement for the Russian Federation with its partner Premium Yachts , one of the leading dealers operating in the boating sector in Russia , which will represent the Ferretti Yachts , Pershing , Itama , Bertram , Riva e Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line brands.

The agreement – which was officially announced today during a press conference attended, among others, by Ferruccio Rossi (Ferretti Group’s CEO), Alexey Kurochkin (Premium Yachts’s President), and Stefano Campanelli (Sales Manager for the EMEA area for Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line) – is part of Ferretti Group’s strategy for a further expansion on the European markets offering the best short/medium-term growth perspectives, also thanks to the financial soundness regained following the strategic partnership forged with the Weichai Group.

More specifically, the Russian boating market holds a great potential for the Ferretti Group’s development because of the rapid growth of average wealth among the population and an increasing interest for Made in Italy luxury goods, like Ferretti Group yachts.

Through the renewal of the agreement with Premium Yachts, the Group will further strengthen its highly selected distribution network – which currently includes approximately 60 dealers ensuring the best possible customer care in more than 80 countries worldwide – as well as its presence in the traditional EMEA ( Europe , Middle East , Africa ) area, one of the three macro-regions (besides the America and the Asia-Pacific) into which the Group’s sales structure is divided.

Moreover, in a medium/long-term perspective, the Ferretti Group is expecting an increasing interest on the Russian market not only for flying bridge yachts above 70’ in length, but also towards smaller crafts, both flybridge and open/coupé ones, which are particularly suitable for river cruising or pleasure boating in Russia’s large lakes. Consequently, the renewal of the dealership agreement with Premium Yachts also allows to look ahead at the future aiming to conquer new market segments where less competitors are currently present in terms of both products and geographic location.

The press conference, which was held today at the Lotte Hotel in Moscow, had also the objective of introducing attending journalists and yachting enthusiasts to the main new products launched by the Ferretti Group over the last few months, namely: motor yacht Ferretti 870 , Ferretti 690 yacht , and the project of the new flagship Ferretti 960 superyacht for the Ferretti Yachts brand; luxury yacht Pershing 82 ’ and superyacht Pershing 108’ New Edition for Pershing; Riva 63’ Virtus and the project of the new Riva flagship, 122’ Mythos yacht , as well as the entire range of the Itama, Bertram and Mochi Craft brands.

The yachts launched over the last few months by CRN – the Group’s brand specialising in the construction of steel and aluminium yachts between 40 and 90 metres – were also presented during the conference: the two superyachts: CRN superyacht Jade (60 metres long) and CRN mega yacht Chopi Chopi (80 metres long), the latter being one of the largest pleasure vessels ever built in Italy and the largest one ever built by the Ancona-based shipyard.

“The renewal of our dealership agreement with an important partner like Premium Yachts – which has worked on the Russian market for almost 10 years and can boast an outstanding product knowledge and an excellent local market penetration – and the presentation of the Group’s latest models are an integral part of our development strategy on the EMEA markets offering the best growth perspectives in the short-medium term,” stated Ferruccio Rossi, Ferretti Group’s CEO. “The Moscow Boat Show 2013, which has now reached its sixth edition, will extend over approximately 45,000 square metres this year and will be attended by more than 350 international boating companies. Lexus Introduces the Next Evolution of the Lexus Luxury Yacht, LY 680

• The flybridge and swimming platform have been expanded, providing more space for enjoyment and relaxation.
• Production will be handled by the Horizon Group, which has an established reputation for its advanced technology which has been honed through the construction of superyachts.

The Lexus Luxury Yacht, LY 650, will take the next step in its evolution as the new LY 680 with some exciting, new enhancements. Starting from March 21st, 2024, orders will be accepted only in Japan through Toyota Marine sales offices and other select dealers *1 .

Lexus aims to be a luxury lifestyle brand and the flagship Luxury Yacht is the embodiment of the Lexus design philosophy "Crafted." The LY 680 expresses this philosophy by thoroughly paying attention to every single detail, in order to exceed customers' expectations and create a unique experience that stimulates their senses, even while at sea.

The concept for the Luxury Yacht is "to feel like a hideout in the middle of the sea, providing a space where discerning customers can feel free and at ease." The exterior embodies the Lexus design philosophy of L-finesse, and the interior has been meticulously crafted down to the smallest details to provide a comfortable living space. In terms of performance, Lexus aims for confidence inspiring cruising performance, offering stable maneuverability, excellent ride comfort, and quietness.

Production was carried out by the Horizon Group, which has a reputation for its advanced technological capabilities which have been honed through the construction of superyachts. By combining the Horizon Group's building capabilities with yacht production methods based on TPS *2 , the strengths of both brands have been leveraged to achieve further enhancements.

A 1/20 scale model of the LY 680 will be on display at the Japan International Boat Show 2024 which will be held at Pacifico Yokohama from March 21st to 24th, 2024.

Expansion of Flybridge and Swimming Platform Provide More Space for Enjoyment and Relaxation

The flybridge has been extended by 1,400 mm and features a spacious lounge sofa and a barbecue grill *3 , allowing guests to relax and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze. In addition, the swimming platform has been extended by 700 mm platform, which allows you to enjoy a wide range of offshore activities, including personal watercrafts.

911 call released: 29 people rescued after high school rowing team capsizes in Westport

WESTPORT, CT (WFSB) – Twenty-nine people were rescued after a boat capsized in Westport on Wednesday evening, according to the Coast Guard.

The team of rowers, ages 14-18, were making their way from Saugatuck Rowing Club to Cockeone Island.

Thursday morning, Westport police released an update that said one of the capsized rowing scrulls had yet to be recovered and remained missing. Two others were brought into the Compo Marina on Wednesday night.

A chase boat was located, but remained submerged near Cockeone Island. It was expected to be recovered Thursday afternoon.

Two rowers who were transported to Norwalk Hospital for cold exposure were released from the hospital.

“The total number of rowers/coaches involved in this incident stands at 29,” Westport police said. “We have determined that 19 people were in the water and 10 (nine rowers and one coach) were able to remain in their vessels.”

Investigators said they will focus on any weather advisories that were posted, available life jackets, experience of the rowers and coaches, and suitability of the vessels.

Police, Westport fire, and Westport EMS were informed that numerous people were in the water at 5:04 p.m. after the boat capsized at Compo Beach.

Deputy Fire Chief Nick Marsan says that the call came from one of the teens, who was splashing in the water.

“That’s a testament to the young man to be able to have the wherewithal to reach for a phone in that type of conditions and actually make a call that made sense,” he said.

Police said they arrived to find a chaotic scene. Some kids had swam to shore, some arrived by boat, and some were still in the water.

At the time, the air temperature was approximately 40 degrees, and the water temperature was 44 degrees.

Officials said they immediately began providing care to those who had made it to shore while they worked to coordinate a recovery for the others still in the water.

“They kept their cool, they kept their calm that certainly helped. Another 20 -30 minutes in the water and we could’ve had a very significantly different outcome,” continued Marsan.

Two adults and 27 high schoolers were rescued, the Coast Guard said.

Officials said the last person was pulled from the water at 6:15 p.m.

“Things could have gone very differently tonight and they didn’t because we have an excellent, excellent police department, fire department, and EMS department here in Westport,” said Jennifer Tooker, first selectman, Westport. " I can’t thank all of you enough.”

Two people were transported to a local hospital for treatment for hypothermia, according to police.

They have now been released from care.

Police described how the incident came about in a statement:

The boat came from the Saugatuck Rowing Company in Westport, according to the Coast Guard.

One of the teenage boys rescued from the water said they don’t normally row that far out.

Davis Evans was one of the teens in the water. He said the team practices six days a week and they typically don’t row as far as Cockenoe Island.

When they first started, Evans said it was beautiful conditions for rowing.

When tried to come back, however, the weather took a turn. Swells started crashing into their boat.

“It was really clean. And really, right as we spun, it got windy. The waves were just crashing into our boat and it was filling up with water. So it was really scary,” Evans said. “This is the first time something like this has happened to me. It’s just a scary experience because you don’t think it can happen to you until it does.”

All of the teenagers were reunited with their families at the Saugatuck Rowing Center.

The Westport Board of Education also assisted by providing a school bus to help transport the people involved.

“This was truly a team effort,” Koskinas stated. “We are grateful for our surrounding agencies who assisted us with this incident and remind our communities that when a large-scale event, like this, happens we all show up to help.

The investigation now turns to the decision making process that put the teens’ lives in uncertain waters.
