From time to time through my years in yacht brokerage, I encounter wealthy individuals who have simply given up in their efforts to buy a yacht due to the chaotic and unreliable nature of the industry. This video addresses one of the causes of this problem, and a solution for it!

YACHT BROKER

With a history in yachting that spans two decades, David grew from developing English language operation manuals for Ferretti yachts in 1994 to becoming sales manager of the CRN shipyard when Ferretti Group purchased it in 2001, and then on to yacht brokerage in 2006, where he quickly closed the sale of one of the world’s largest new build yachts of the time (280’).

David was one of the first yacht brokers to recognise the potential of digital marketing, and in 2012 he published his first yacht video on a brand new YouTube channel, called “YACHTSFORSALE”. The video was of a Sunseeker Predator 82’ and David used his experience in acting and public speaking to present the yacht in a TV show style. This had never been done in yacht brokerage before, resulting in thousands of views and just as importantly, page 1 ranking of the video on Google.

Over the following years David continued to develop his catalogue of yacht videos and to learn the highly specialised field of YouTube search engine optimisation. Today, the YACHTSFORSALE channel has over 100,000 subscribers and is one of the most-watched yacht channels on the internet.

Although her exterior is remarkable, the real wow factor is inside. Her vast 1,245GT of internal living space is designed by the renowned Bannenberg & Rowell studio to host up to 16 guests on board with an innovative arrangement of asymmetric interior spaces in which the main saloon, upper saloon and beach club lounge have all been rotated by 30 degrees. This subtle shift delivers a new perspective on yachting, offering unique views when you’re looking out. It also changes the dynamic of the main guest spaces on board, making them feel relaxed and elegant.

The interior design palette is crisp and contemporary, with iconic Fendi furniture and a bespoke white oak finish offset by carbon fibre and finely crafted details in smoked oak, cream leather and stainless steel. The upper saloon is one of the highlights on board with a dark gloss grand piano and an incredibly beautiful bar sculpted from rare white marble and framed in polished steel.

The master suite is huge – 160sqm – with an office and lounge area, two dressing rooms, two interconnected bathrooms and a spectacular sweep of forward-facing windows with a 180-degree panoramic view. The forward bed looks out over a large private bow terrace with seating and sunpads up front.

ARTISAN has glorious outside spaces too. The aft bridge deck is 14m-long with a bar and spa pool, spacious sunpads and more. One level down, there’s a powerful heating system on the upper aft deck to ensure you can always dine and lounge outside in comfort, at any time of year.

On the Water is built for cruising in comfort, Mainship, one of the premier trawler builders, got it right with “On the Water”.  Her 14' 4" beam makes her comfortable on the water, at the dock, or on the hook. The molded steps to the bridge and the wide, protected side decks allow for easy movement about the boat. Her single Yanmar engine offers terrific fuel economy, and her bow thruster provides great maneuverability.  Custom heavy-duty davits make taking the included RIB on and off the boat a breeze. “On the Water” is clean, well-kept and maintained. She is ready to go and is just the Mainship to take you on your next adventure! 

Entering from the aft deck through the sliding door the salon features 360-degree views, a teak and holly sole and teak paneling/joinery; all of which combine to create a light and inviting area of the boat. Furnishings include a table and two chairs on the starboard side.  A flat screen TV is mounted opposite.  Cabinetry is found along the port side followed by the galley. The lower helm is found opposite on the starboard side.  12 vac and 120 vdc lighting is over head mounted throughout the salon.

MAINSHIP 390 – ON THE WATER – WALKTHROUGH

Located at the stern, the aft deck is roomy enough for relaxing on 2 or 3 deck chairs while enjoying this bright and airy area of the boat. The deck is protected from the weather by a solid overhead. Forward, a sliding door opens into the salon with fly bridge stairs to starboard. A gate to the swim platform is found at the transom, along with shore power receptacles to starboard with a dock water hook-up (disconnected) and fresh and salt water washdown spigots to port. The transom also features two top access storage lockers. Access to the side decks is forward, on either side of the cabin. A utility room and transom locker are accessed through hatches center mounted in the deck.  

SWIM PLATFORM:

The full beam swim platform is accessed via a gate in the center of the transom and features a retractable swim ladder and a custom tender davit system.  

Moving up to the spacious flybridge via the molded staircase, the helm is center mounted forward and features full controls and instrumentation, and a double captain’s chair. Two settees are found on the port and starboard side with a double leaf folding table center mounted.  The fly bridge is protected by a Bimini top.

The sundeck is found aft of the fly bridge and is surrounded by a solid aluminum railing.  The deck offers plenty of room for deck furniture and includes a fixed mast. 

SIDE DECKS & BOW:

The side decks are protected by a raised gunwale and an aluminum rail that extends around the foredeck and bow. At the bow the anchor is roller mounted on a bow pulpit and is serviced by an electric windlass and wash down spigot.  The bow also features deck molded anchor locker, a second set of shore power receptacles and a jackstaff.

LOWER HELM:

The lower helm features full controls and instrumentation, traditional teak captain’s wheel and side deck access via a sliding door.

Opposite the lower helm on the port side, the L-shaped galley features port-side and forward countertops. The port-side countertop includes a 3-burner propane stove/oven, with cutting board cover. A built-in coffee maker and locker are mounted above. A fume vent is side mounted in a cabinet housing the refrigerator-freezer, microwave oven and an additional locker. A double stainless-steel sink with hot and cold running water is located in the forward countertop with drawers and lockers beneath.

PORT CABIN:

Moving forward of the salon via a center mounted companionway the private port cabin is found through a door on the port side. The cabin features a carpeted deck, teak joinery, two twin berths, a hanging locker with shelf atop and a storage cubby aft on the starboard side. Lighting is provided by overhead lights and two reading lamps.  Ventilation is provided by an AC vent an opening port and an overhead hatch. 

FORWARD CABIN:

Moving forward from the port cabin the private, forward cabin is found at the front of the boat and features a carpeted deck, teak joinery, a center mounted queen berth and lockers and shelving on the port and starboard sides.  A TV is mounted aft on the port side with access to the head opposite on the starboard side. Lighting is provided by overhead lights and two reading lamps.  Ventilation is provided by an AC vent, opening port and starboard ports and an overhead hatch. 

The head is accessed via doors in the forward cabin and companionway.  The head features a separate shower with glass partition, a vanity and sink with hot and cold running water and an electric marine toilet.  Ample storage is provided by lockers behind the toilet and above and below the vanity/sink. Ventilation is provided by an AC vent an opening port and an overhead hatch. 

ENGINE ROOM:

The engine room is located under the salon deck and is accessed via hatches in the deck.  The space is roomy offering easy access to all mechanical systems.

Forget the Black Pearl -- Johnny Depp is on a yacht off the coast of Italy, and Will Smith is also on board ... marking at least the second time the dudes have linked up overseas.

The 'Pirates' star and the 'Bad Boys' actor are in Italy together for their guest appearances this week at an Andrea Bocelli concert series ... and it looks like they're logging some R&R before the gig on the same vessel.

Johnny and Will were photographed aboard a fancy yacht in photos posted Tuesday by Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad ... and they also posed for a pic with German DJ Rampa .

PEOPLE reports Johnny and Will are together en route to the Bocelli concert.

JD and WS are set to join Andrea on stage Wednesday and Friday as part of a star-studded lineup in Lajatico, Italy ... Bocelli's hometown in the country's Tuscany region. The concert is being filmed and made into a movie, marking Andrea's 30 years in music.

Johnny plays in a band when he's not acting and Will had some hip hop hits back in the day ... so they definitely have a leg to stand on as far as bona fides for being in this mashup.

More importantly though ... this latest reunion seems to suggest their bromance is growing stronger -- remember, they got together last year in Saudi Arabia for a film festival there, and were hugging it up and looking chummy in the Middle East.

On its face ... it seems like a friendship is blossoming here, a globetrotting one at that.

Mel B sure knows how to spice up a graduation outfit.

The singer, whose full name is Melanie Brown, received an honorary doctorate degree from Leeds Beckett University over the weekend, recognizing her work with domestic abuse victims.

For the ceremony, the 49-year-old paid tribute to her Spice Girls roots, channeling her signature Scary Spice style with a custom-made graduation gown that featured a leopard-print lining.

The dress that Brown sported underneath her robe was equally eye-catching, as she opted for a sparkly, long-sleeved design with a cutout in the middle.

Of course, it’s not the first time Brown has openly channeled her on-stage outfits.

She pulled a similar fashion move earlier this year while promoting her book, “Brutally Honest,” rocking multiple leopard-print pieces .

Brown touched on her achievement in a speech, saying it was as major as performing with the girl group .

“In my life I have been to many, many places and done many extraordinary things, but being here today as a graduate of Leeds Beckett University is honestly as massive an achievement as performing at Wembley Stadium with the Spice Girls,” she admitted.

She added that the experience was “life-changing,” especially since she “didn’t just want to accept an award” but rather, actually became a student.

“Not only have I been awarded this degree, but I was also accepted as a student on the Trauma Informed Care course which has been a huge step for me in so many ways.”

Posting to Instagram later on, Brown celebrated alongside her three children — Phoenix Chi, 25, Angel Iris, 17, and Madison, 12 — and fiancé, Rory McPhee, sharing a similar sentiment in the caption.

“This is my mission, this is all about one thing being a survivor – helping survivors, breaking the silence and using my voice to help others,” she wrote.

After divorcing her ex-husband, Stephan Belafonte, in 2017, Brown accused the director-producer of sexually exploiting her .

Belafonte denied the claims and  filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit  against the “Spice World” star in May 2024.
