The 50m/164'1" 'Air' (ex. QM of London) motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Benetti is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins. This award winning yacht features interior styling by English designer Terence Disdale.

From bow to stern, Air is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 1998, Air offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite, two VIP cabins, one double cabin and three twin cabins. There are 10 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 queen, 1 double and 6 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Air benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Air is built with a steel hull and GRP superstructure. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 3,800 nautical miles from her 82,882 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

When not cruising Air has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these are two Zapata Racing (Jetpack) Flyboards for soaring over the water or swimming like a dolphin. Make diving a focal point of your charter vacation, with PADI certified professionals and a dive compressor available alongside traditional scuba diving equipment. Additionally, there are 5.7m waterslides bringing a sense of fun that all the family can enjoy. If that isn't enough Air also features Jet Skis, towable toys, waterskis, a Kite Surfer, a seabob and much more. Air features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 5.6m/18'4" Castoldi Jet Tender to transport you in style.

Air is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

The 81m Air was created for repeat clients, she has a sleek and elegant exterior with modern lines, while also incorporating a distinctive Feadship flared bow. Air was also the first superyacht built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad and her unique matt black hull was painted with a specialised and eco-friendly nano coating technique. A highly sophisticated minimalistic design makes for a stunning interior. Main materials used include matt-finished sycamore, leather, matt-finished special paint, high gloss stainless steel, palladium leaf, back-lit white onyx, off-white & black limestone and a wealth of carved glass.

Motor Yacht

Air is a custom motor yacht launched in 1998 by Benetti, in Italy and most recently refitted in 2020.

Over one century of history, more than 350 boats built including three giga yachts of 100mt and longer, over 300,000 sq m (3.229.173 sq.ft) of production facilities. These facts and figures unambiguously demonstrate the momentum of Benetti’s growth and Clients’ unrestrained confidence in the brand.

Air measures 50 metres in length, with a max draft of 2.64 metres and a beam of 8.97 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 496 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.

Air has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Her interior design is by Terence Disdale.

Terence Disdale Design is an award-winning design studio responsible for the interior and exterior design of the some of the world’s most significant yachts. Based in the UK, the studio is renowned for producing refreshingly casual yet chic designs.

Air also features naval architecture by Benetti.

Performance and Capabilities

Air has a top speed of 17.00 knots and a cruising speed of 14.00 knots. She is powered by a twin screw propulsion system.

Air has a fuel capacity of 82,900 litres, and a water capacity of 17,000 litres.

She also has a range of 3,800 nautical miles.

Air accommodates up to 14 guests in 7 cabins. She also houses room for up to 11 crew members.

Motor yacht AIR is an 81 metre (265.7 feet) ship which was designed by De Voogts, built by Feadship and is to be launched in Holland in 2011. Feadship Superyacht AIR has her interior design created by Remi Tessier Design and she was built at Koninklijke de Vries Scheepbouw with Naval Architecture by De Voogt and engineering design by De Vries and De Voogt. Yacht Air was built with a steel hull and with an aluminium superstructure.

Feadship’s AIR is one of the benchmark superyachts in a time where there have been significant recent advances in large private yacht design and an evolution of the products, processes and techniques employed in modern yacht building by the best yacht builders in the world. Feadship , with their fine pedigree of shipbuilding and their recent advances in construction technology showcase the latest in modern superyacht production.

Luxury yacht Air brings her wonderful ethereal name to her exterior design, the work of Remi Tessier in conjunction with the yacht’s owners. Inside, spaces relate harmoniously with the wall, floor and ceiling structural forms, creating a clean neutrality which is often inspiring. This inspiration also has Art to thank, in many cases, as beautiful artwork has been employed to brilliant effect in punctuating and enhancing M/Y AIR’s lovely interior ambience.

The boat’s interior is large and spacious, in the common areas such as saloon and dining room, and these flow naturally outside through large window and open doorway to similarly generous outdoor entertainment areas on aft and sundeck. At 81 metres in length, and with a beam of 11.6 metres, there is plenty of space for luxurious relaxation. The vessel easily accommodates her 12 guest in 6 roomy staterooms, including the owner suite. All accommodations are fully ensuited.  M/Y AIR has a fully certified heli pad which can, should a client require, be used for commercially operated aircraft.

Needless to say, the Air superyacht has a first rate international crew, headed up by Captain Mark Finch and Captain Stephen Warren, which is able to tend to guests’ every need, requirement and desire.

The Feadship AIR yacht will be crusing the Mediterranean and Europe in the summer of 2011.
