• Children under 3 years will be considered as infants and entry will be free of cost.

You will need to fill out a set of documents – basically that you are fit and waive any claim in case something goes wrong. There is a set of small lockers, but I would recommend to only bring the bare minimum. Note that you can keep your cell phone and glasses (hey, you want to see everything during your ride!). For the glasses, they attach an elastic security to ensure you don’ t loose them. Next, they guide you to a bus that drives you to the building where the fun will start. You are escorted to the elevator, where the driver smiles with compassion and presses the 42nd floor button. One more floor to go (with stairs) and you are 170m high and have a wonderful view on the marina, palm,… Some people in the group seemed a bit less convinced and had to motivate themselves to continue. All is very organized: they will first take a few pictures of each individual, next you get the safety gear installed, followed by a short interview (recorded on the GoPro) that is later on attached to your helmet. When it is your turn, you are secured, lay down on some ‘bed’ to attach you to the zip line, the bed is lowered and… it’s fly time. A Day Out On Mega Yacht Lotus

Mega Yacht Lotus – A Review by a Happy Client

Our company booked Mega Yacht Lotus   for charter for our company’s event, and the decision couldn’t have been better. This yacht can accommodate up to 500 people at a time which is why it is perfect for corporate events. Mega Yacht Lotus boasts beautiful spacious decks, wide cabins, large salons, a swimming pool, cinema, music systems, enough lighting, glass balconies, separate dining room, kitchen, dance floor, and many other luxuries; all the makings for a perfect floating party venue. To put it in a nutshell, it is touted to be a 220 feet long floating mansion in the sea.

At around 4 pm, our Mega Yacht Lotus  charter experience began. We made our way to the Marina mall, where she is moored. A cheerful and enthusiastic crew greeted us the moment we stepped onboard this elegant Lotus yacht and we were served welcome drinks. The first thing that caught our fancy was the spacious swimming pool and a bar at the entrance. From here, you can choose to either take a seat inside the air-conditioned lounge for dining and relaxing on the middle deck, if you prefer indoors, or choose to dine on the dining area next to the pool. We decided to check out the lounge first. The splendid banquet area hosts rows after rows of tables, VIP sitting areas, and a partitioned area for serving food. Large floor-to-ceiling windows let guests enjoy panoramic views of the Dubai skyline even from inside. There are televisions fitted on either side of the hall to keep the guests entertained. This air-conditioned area is sumptuously furnished and elegantly decorated, and the ambiance is quite luxurious.

Moving up, Lotus’s choice of dining areas extends to the expansive open-air lounge on the sundeck which can accommodate up to 300 at a time, as we did of course. There was a well-designed shade roof over this area which helps to keep shelter the guests from the sweltering sun during the day. At night, the roof lights up to bathe the dance floor in stunning disco lights. There is another bar here, where you can enjoy an assortment of drinks. If you want stunning views of the landmarks that pass along the boat and wish to enjoy the caress of the soothing sea breeze, the sun deck is the ultimate place to be. I couldn’t keep my eyes off the lotus pattern which extends to every element of the boat, from the tables and chairs to the overhead canopy and besides the walls.

Once the Mega Yacht Lotus set sail from Pier 7, most of us headed up to the Skydeck to enjoy panoramic views of the stunning Dubai sights and Dubai’s exuberant waters and caught tons of incredible snaps against the iconic Dubai attractions such as the quintessential Burj Al Arab and Atlantis the Palm on Palm Jumeirah Island, the stunning lights of the JBR, and Ain Dubai Ferris wheel, while we delighted in free-flowing drinks. Watching the sun set over Burj-ul-Arab was a splendid sight to behold. Mega Yacht Lotus offers the perfect venue to explore the Dubai skyline while out at sea.

We started exploring the 220 feet mega yacht with its famed entertainment zones spread across three decks. We decided to take a dip in the humongous swimming pool we sported earlier. Moreover, there were six hot tubs with water jets for massage, which some of our colleagues thoroughly enjoyed. She also features cabins are on the middle deck, where we retreated to shower and change. There are a total of 11 cabins for privacy and to take a nap when you get a bit tired after all the enjoyment. Those who didn’t fancy swimming took to the huge 70-seater cinema where they played a movie. Here, the lighting on the walls can be adjusted to suit the mood. To add to the luxurious interior and ambiance, there is a sophisticated sound system. All in all, she has everything to keep even the most discerning guests entertained throughout the trip.

Soon the food was served, and we were treated to a lavish five-star international buffet including a barbecue, canapés, salads, desserts, and live cooking. The menu has all the best dishes handpicked from every cuisine replete with concierges to ensure the best taste. What aromas were hovering there! We especially loved the experience of watching the chefs prepare a range of cuisines in front of us. Besides all the wonders on board, the food makes for a fantastic cruising time, so be sure to come with an empty stomach to savor every bit of these delectable delicacies. The hosts on this boat were excellent, elegantly dressed, and well-trained. They made sure all guests are treated in the best manner.

After dinner, the sun deck transformed into a floating party venue. The canopy lights up to bathe the dance floor in a kaleidoscope of light, while the bar keeps the party going. The blare of music makes you want to move to the groove. After enjoying some unrivaled celebrity-like moments grooving to the DJ, we got in a much more exuberant mood. At around midnight, the party did eventually end, but I went away with loads of memories captured in my camera.

Concert promoter Live Nation is getting into the ultra-luxury cruise business — see what it'll be like on weeklong superyacht sailings starting at $3,000 a person

• Live Nation's Vibee is getting into the ultra-luxury cruise business.
• The music event curator says it'll charter two superyachts for three weeklong Croatia cruises this summer.
• Like other vacation operators, Vibee says it's seen increasing demand for cruise and yacht-based trips.

Forget concerts — Live Nation wants music fans to start going on yacht vacations .

In 2023 and amid a boom in experiential travel , the entertainment company established Vibee, a music-based event curation arm. Less than a year later, Vibee has already executed affairs like a weekend Bahamas getaway headlined by singer Lionel Richie and a three-day Cabo San Lucas, Mexico party featuring DJ Tiësto.

Now, it's moving off-land and to the high seas with its new segment: Vibee Yacht Club.

This summer, Vibee says it'll charter two superyachts for three weeklong Croatia itineraries that are set to be, of course, centered on music.

Vibee is capitalizing on yet another increasingly popular concept: themed cruises.

Themed cruises can vary vastly, from Star Trek-centered sailings to itineraries helmed by famous comedians. And as of late, many of these niche voyages have been selling out faster than ever before.

Themed cruise operator Sixthman's November 2023 hip-hop itinerary sold out in less than five days with no publicly announced lineup.

Similarly, Vibee's first cruise, the 2023 EDSea — a wordplay on the electronic dance music festival Electric Daisy Carnival, or EDC — was fully booked in three days, again with an undisclosed lineup.

Armed with EDSea’s success, Vibee wants to dive deeper into the cruise segment — this time with a luxurious spin.

"We see the desire for cruise and yacht experiences continuing to rise," Harvey Cohen, president of Vibee, told Business Insider, echoing sentiments of the cruise industry's booming demand.

And not just the mass-market players: Over the last year, luxury cruise lines have also seen a rise in interest.

In its fourth-quarter earnings report from February 2024, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings said its two high-end brands, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas, had both seen "strong demand."

The latter had launched its latest $517.9 million luxury ship a few months prior, complete with caviar and a $6 million art collection.

Luxury cruises and superyachts aren’t known to be super-affordable.

Vibee says it's chartering the 141-foot-long Lupus Mare and nearly 161-foot-long Prestige for its three yacht sailings.

Vibee Yacht Club's cheapest option starts at $3,100 per person for a two-person cabin. Comparatively, EDSea's 2024 itinerary starts at $1,405 per person for a double occupancy interior cabin.

Yet, it could be a bargain for some superyacht fans: Weeklong charters for Lupus Mare start at about $71,000 a week, according to YachtCharterFleet.

Everything is better on a yacht. Champagne? Tastes better on a yacht. Cruises in general? Better on a yacht.

Going to an international music festival? Well, Vibee thinks it would be better to stay on a yacht than in a hotel.

On July 13, the first itinerary would start on day two of Ultra Europe, a popular three-day electronic dance music festival in Split, Croatia.

Following the event, the two yachts would sail to three Croatian islands before concluding in Hvar, Croatia. Along the way, the itinerary would include daytime swims, a sunset winery visit, and several parties (day and night).

Unsurprisingly, Vibee expects the itinerary to draw in younger travelers, specifically Gen Zers and millennials.

Lupus Mare is set to be chartered for two more itineraries: “Rock the Med” and “Marafiki on the Adriatic.”

A three-person cabin for both starts at $3,500 per person.

On Rock the Med, the week is set to begin with VIP tickets to a Lenny Kravitz show at the historic Pula Arena.

Afterward, it would sail to Croatian destinations with an itinerary that would include beach excursions and clubs.

Marafiki on the Adriatic isn’t centered on a single music event.

Instead, the roundtrip Split itinerary would feature on-board musical performances, daily yoga, "cultural outings," and, of course, beach clubs.

A bonus trip to Sonus Festival, a five-day rave, is an optional add-on.

Like a typical luxury cruise, travelers would have preorganized water taxis, chefs to prepare daily breakfasts and lunches, and all the yacht amenities.

The 20-cabin, 40-guest Prestige flexes indulgences like an indoor lounge, a hot tub, and a sundeck with plenty of beds.

Meanwhile, the 15-cabin, 34-guest Lupus Mare has comforts like a sauna and gym.

Travelers could wind down in the yacht's movie theater or hot tub. Or, they could take a slide into the water.

It’s no surprise Vibee is going the more sumptuous route with its itinerary-focused yacht concept.

" Revenge travel " might as well be known as "regular travel" at this point: People have continued to spend big on extravagant vacations, especially on luxury small cruise ships and trips planned around experiences and adventures.

Both are niches Vibee is trying to carve out for itself: Looking ahead, the new brand is already planning more music and sea-based vacations, Cohen told Business Insider.

EXCLUSIVE: Charlotte Le Bon ( Falcon Lake ) has joined Season 3 of HBO ‘s The White Lotus in a role that is being recast. She is replacing Francesca Corney , who had been originally tapped for the part, sources close to production tell Deadline. HBO would not comment but we hear that the producers felt they needed someone who played older. Details regarding the character are being kept under wraps.

Created, written and directed by White,  The White Lotus  is executive produced by White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine. On the filming and promotion of the third installment, HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

Canadian actor-director Le Bon voiced Joy in the French and Quebec French dub of Inside Out . Her feature directorial debut , Falcon Lake , premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight program at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and also screened at the 2022 Toronto Film Festival. She is repped by UTA, Agence Adequat in France and Agence RBL in Canada.
