A General Description of Sailing Yacht ATLANTA

The well sized superyacht ATLANTA is a sailing yacht. This 37 metre (121 ft) luxury yacht was created at Alloy Yachts in 1996. Superyacht ATLANTA is a nicely styled yacht that can accommodate a total of 8 guests on board and has a total of 6 crew. This gracious sailing yacht was designed with the naval architecture of Dubois Naval Architects. Glade Johnson produced her interior design brief.

The Shipyard Work & Designing relating to Luxury Yacht ATLANTA

The yacht's general design work came from Dubois Naval Architects. The professional naval architecture intellectual property are a work of Dubois Naval Architects. Sailing Yacht ATLANTA received her elegant interior designing from the interior design firm of Glade Johnson. New Zealand is the country that Alloy Yachts constructed their new build sailing yacht in. After her formal launch in 1996 in Auckland the boat was delivered on to the owner having completed sea trials. A spacious proportion is achieved with a widest beam (width) of 8.29 metres or 27.2 ft. With a 3.23m (10.6ft) draught (maximum depth) she is deep. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure above deck is built with the use of aluminium.

S/Y ATLANTA Engines & Speed:

This boat is engineered with a single proven LUGGER main engine(s) and can accelerate to a comparatively good top speed underway of around 13 knots. The engine of the ship generates 550 horse power (or 405 kilowatts). Her total HP is 550 HP and her total Kilowatts are 405. Coupled to the ATLANTA engines are a single screw propeller. Concerning bow thruster maneuverability she utilises Alloy Yachts / Stern: Alloy Yachts. Her impressive cruise speed is 11 knots which produces a range of 2500.

Superyacht ATLANTA Guest Accommodation:

Providing quarters for a maximum of 8 visiting passengers overnighting, the ATLANTA accommodates everyone luxuriously. She also has room for around 6 capable crew members to maintain and sail.

We are located just thirty minutes north of atlanta, georgia. lake lanier offers incredible views, excellent fishing, and great lakeside dining.  there are several parks for picnicking, swimming, and local campgrounds for your r/v needs.  lanier island resort and margaritaville is located minutes outside our entrance where you can enjoy many activities, like hiking, golfing, waterslides, and horseback riding. while you're here we recommend trying out all holiday marina has to offer:  boat rentals at aqua sports adventures, boat and yacht sales at singelton marine, and great fresh food at the twist orr where there's sure to be live music almost every weekend  holiday marina is your boat rental destination..

Great place to rent a boat from. Had an awesome time. The pontoon boat I rented for an afternoon was only one year old and in beautiful clean shape. It had an operational music radio. The staff were extremely helpful and nice and patient. They went over the map of Lake Lanier and offered a good tip to save our parking spot in Google maps to help us out on the water to find our way back in case there was some confusion. Thompson JT

We rented a pontoon boat for a full day on a Wednesday. Great experience all the way around. The check-in was easy and very well explained. The attendant Zack was very thorough in going over how to work the boat and inspecting the boat. The pontoon was very new and in excellent condition. Our boat rental experience was truly outstanding! The host exceeded our expectations in ensuring that our trip was unforgettable. Tim shared invaluable information and recommendations about the area, making the boat experience effortless and delightful. We had an amazing time and will certainly book with him again on our next trip. This boat is an excellent option for both families and couples.

We had a blast from our weekend fishing trip on lake Lanier. Tim and Ben are super nice people. Communication was super clear and helpful. Pick up and drop off was on time and easy. The boat and equipments were great. The whole experience was excellent. We will definitely book with them again and recommend our friends and family.

This is a rare jewel listing! I booked for a sunset cruise on July 16th as a surprise birthday gift to my boyfriend. The host communicated very well. On the day of my booking Ben took care of me and he was a very nice host. The boat however could have been cleaner. The boat being dirty definitely compromised my presentation for my surprise picknic sunset cruise. But don’t you worry! They will have the boat more tidy for you! Proceed with your booking. You won’t regret it.

We had a great time on the boat with my wife and our four children. The boat was clean and everything worked as it suposed to. Timothy was on time both at the departure and arrival times. I totally recomend this boat if you are looking for something affordable and fuel eficient. Be prepared to jump some waves if you want to cross the lake though.

2. Lake Allatoona

Lake Allatoona is thirty minutes northwest of Atlanta, with 12,000 acres of lake, 270 miles of shoreline, and 25,000 acres of public land surrounding the lake. Like Lake Lanier, Lake Allatoona was created by a dam designed and built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It was built upon the Etowah River, and now covers the ruins of the Etowah town, which the lake in 1949 and 1950 covered up.

I-75 and Cartersville sit to the east of the lake, while I-575 and Holly Springs sit to the west. The lake supplies many Georgians with drinking water, hydroelectric electricity, as well as a beautiful place to recreate. It also manages fish and wildlife. Lake Allatoona has twenty boat ramps, fourteen parks, eight campgrounds, and eight marinas.

Lake Acworth almost touches Lake Allatoona but is narrowly separated by a 1,500-foot long earthen dam and Highway 92 that sits atop it. You can find this lake just south of Allatoona.

Since this lake is so small, only electric or trolling motors are allowed; gas-powered or personal watercraft are not permitted. Canoes and kayaks are allowed.

4. Lake Oconee

Conveniently nestled about halfway between Atlanta and Augusta, Oconee feels like a retreat close to home. It is about an hour and fifteen minutes drive from Atlanta—just east of McDonough, GA .

This beautiful lake is surrounded by gorgeous, exclusive golf communities, resorts, and senior living communities. You can also find several historic plantations on the shore. While there is a considerable amount of hustle and bustle around the lake, the lake itself is relatively quiet and peaceful. It is large like Lake Lanier , but without crowds.

It is a reservoir that was created by the Wallace Dam on the Oconee River in 1979. While the dam provides clean hydroelectric energy, the reservoir is used to supply many local families with fresh drinking water.

To the north of Lake Oconee, you’ll find the Oconee National Forest and the Scull Shoals Experimental Forest.

5. Lake Sinclair

Lake Sinclair, which is almost connected to Lake Oconee, has 15,000 acres of lake to enjoy and over 500 miles of shoreline to explore. It is only separated from Oconee by the Wallace Dam.

This lake is a bit of a drive; it will take nearly an hour and a half to reach the lake from Atlanta. In our opinion, it’s well worth the drive. While Lake Sinclair is relatively far north in Georgia, a few alligators are in its waters.

Antebellum Trail runs through here, so if you’re ready to get your land legs back long enough to explore Lake Country’s rolling hills, forests, sloping farmland, and marshlands, this is the perfect place for you.

6. George H Sparks Reservoir

This 215-acre lake is modest but nice and close to the heart of Atlanta. It only takes twenty minutes to get from the center of downtown Atlanta to the reservoir.

Sweetwater Creek runs right by the lake, and Sweetwater Creek State Park encompasses nearly its entire perimeter. The park is 2,549 acres and features ten yurts, seven picnic shelters, five tent sites, two playgrounds, two fishing docks, one group shelter, a visitor center, a museum, a gift shop, an outdoor fitness equipment area, a seasonal bait shop, and one boat ramp leading into the George H Sparks Reservoir.

The reservoir is a haven for anglers and kayakers, stand-up paddle boarders, and paddle boaters. There isn’t a beach or a swimming area, but trails, historic textile mill ruins, and gorgeous forests make up for that.

Whether you desire a day at the lake or an overnight  camping, we have available in our inventory or affiliates - bow riders  boats, ski boats, and cruiser yatchs to satisfy your weekend retreat and adventures.

Book your boat rental today. Get ready for your adventure by watching a brief required 10 minutes safety  presentation video. 

Your boat rental will depart at  E Park Bank Rd, Buford, GA 30518. There will be required documentation prior to embarkation and loading. Also, there will be a preview of  lake, your water sportsequipment and overview of the required safety measure prior to departure. Please arrive excited and receptive so your family can be ready for safe and fun time.
