ACALA’s OWNER ON HIS BEAUTIFUL EXPLORER YACHT

Owner - m/y acala.

My family and I love exploring uncontaminated areas out of the reach of conventional yachts this is the reason why we bought our first explorer yacht built by Cantiere delle Marche: the first Acala, a Darwin 102, was launched in 2015 and since then we sailed the world and lived unforgettable experiences, sailing to archipelagos lost in the expanses of both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and diving in the most beautiful spots in the world. The first Acala, a 31-metre explorer yacht, took us safely to remote places, yet we needed a larger yacht for more comfort and mostly to have it built with all characteristic and features we knew we needed. A custom explorer yacht, indeed.

Our experience with Cantiere delle Marche had been great so I wanted to have my new explorer yacht to be built by them. With Argentinian/Italian designer (and naval architect) Horacio Bozzo we defined the total length, style, exterior features and an interior layout that matched the way we live on board. We were on the same page and Horacio gave shape to my requests. I think that Acala is a remarkable piece of design.

What to say about Cantiere delle Marche? The shipyard has outdone itself. We worked with them on the technical aspects for almost a year and this allowed the construction process to be smooth and totally under control. The quality of her construction is impeccable. Acala was delivered in mid-March and since then we almost never left the yacht. We have enjoyed cruising in the Med from Croatia to Greece, the Balearic Island, South of France and we have great plans for the months to come.

acala yacht owner

For the interior design and decoration we entrusted, Mexican designer Simon Hamui . We know Simon from a long time and what we have is more than just a working relationship. Our new explorer yacht has been designed to allow us to sail far and wide for long periods of time and to reach remote areas of the world (as we did with our previous, smaller CDM yacht). We travel as a family and we frequently share our ‘adventures’ with some close friends of ours so Acala had to be roomy and comfortable for us, our guests and crew. We wanted her to be beautiful too, both outside and inside.

Simon perfectly understood the mood and the style I was looking for and we shared ideas and thoughts on almost all aspects of the interior and exterior decoration. Beauty and functionality go hand in hand on Acala. The style Simon Hamui created is aesthetically pleasant and logically coherent with the exterior look of the yacht and with our way of living on board. We wanted welcoming, warm interior spaces and well-appointed exterior areas for outdoor living.

We don’t need to show off. What is on board Acala is what we like and what makes us feel at ease. Consistency and homogeneity of the interior decoration was one of our requests and the result is what we wanted: the internal environments highlight a neatness and formal rigour perfectly combined with comfort while the choice of subtle colours create a relaxing atmosphere.

After having spent months on board Acala, I can witness that together with Simon we did the right choices!

CDM LAUNCHES M/Y ACALA

Cantiere Delle Marche is delighted to announce that Acala - full custom 43-metre explorer yacht - has been successfully launched.

A pure custom yacht, Acala takes full advantage of CDM’s experience and its approach to explorer yacht building. Acala has been commissioned by an experienced yachtsman who, over the years, owned yachts built by shipyards such as Feadship, Lürssen, Blohm and Voss. He is a repeat client for CDM , a yard which gained his full confidence having enjoyed the feel of comfort and safety of his previous Acala, a Darwin 102, cruising in the Med but also sailing the expanses of the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic and reaching the wild beauty of remote destinations and the best diving spots in the world. “I am delighted and proud with this milestone launch,” Vasco Buonpensiere, CdM’s co-founder and Sales & Marketing Director, says. “The trust this Owner confirmed in CdM gives us the highest reason of pride. It is a statement of appreciation for both our yachts and ourselves as a team always committed to the Owner’s satisfaction. The mutual trust established between with this client and CdM team has been pivotal to the good result of the whole process that lead to the completion of such a complex project.” “The work on technical specifications has been extremely detailed and it lasted almost 12 months to achieve a double result: to build a 43-metre yacht with the most detailed and comprehensive specs we have ever drawn up and to proceed with no need of major modifications as construction progressed,” Vasco Buonpensiere maintains. “In the light of these approach and procedures, within the team we joke around saying that we have built the smallest 80-metre yacht ever built!” Buonpensiere says. Acala inaugurates a new collaboration with Horacio Bozzo Design who designed her conspicuous and eye- catching lines . “The aim of our design work is the pleasure of seeing the Owner’s desires taking shape and recognizing himself in it,” says Horacio Bozzo , yacht designer and naval architect based in Viareggio, Italy. “Designing an explorer for an experienced Owner who grew up around boats and understands yachting perfectly, is very gratifying,” Horacio adds. “We started from a white piece of paper and brainstormed a lot with him to fulfill the whole family needs.” Her severe profile with a raked bow and compact superstructure captures the very soul of an explorer vessel combining it with the elegance of a luxury yacht that will stand the test of time. Large windows on the Main deck whose mullions seem not to join the superstructure that are undoubtedly Acala profile’s signature features. All shapes, volumes and lines compose a harmonious geometry while her roomy body encompasses luxury social areas and very large and comfortable crew quarters, as requested by the Owner whose plans include long term cruising to reach the farthest corners of the world. Guest areas are spread over three decks plus a Sun Deck. Acala features a nicely organized interior layout that sleeps twelve guests in six suites . A large lobby sits in between the main salon and guest night quarters. The full beam Main deck , from amidship forward is dedicated to guests and Owners . Three large Vip and extremely comfortable Owner suite to starboard side are flooded by natural light from large windows. Two twin cabins are located on the Lower deck. An intimate salon on the Main Deck and a large panoramic sky lounge on the Upper Deck with dining area have been designed and decorated for indoor relaxation and entertainment. A particularly large cockpit features dining and lounging areas, a swimming pool and lots of space to relax. A large and partially shaded Sun deck perfectly integrated into the profile provides the social hub for Acala’s guests with an al fresco dining, bar, vast sunbathing area alongside a second swimming pool. A dumbwaiter connects the galley located on the Lower deck to all deck, Sun deck included, to convey food and drinks and ease the work of crew. Acala interior design by Mexican architect Simon Hamui , is luxurious and relaxed at the same time. It means that it offers the possibility to feel at ease with both beach clothing or formally dressed for a dinner. She has a full displacement naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo/Hydro Tec offering large volume (440GT) and the smoothest of travel even in rough seas ensuring excellent comfort and total safety. Engineering has been developed by the yard technical department in collaboration with Hydro Tec. Needless to add that she, like all explorer yachts built by Cantiere delle Marche, features a thick and robust steel hull and light aluminium superstructure. With a total length of 43,10 metres , a beam of 8.60m , thanks to hull geometry, 62 400-litre fuel tanks, and the extremely frugal consumption of her twin Caterpillare C32 Acert engines 746kW each, Acala will have a range of above 5 000 nm at 10 knots and a top speed of 14 knots. The yacht’s engine room, , as all engine rooms built by CDM, is a showpiece that stands out for its cleanliness and functionality with all the yacht’s systems and machineries set up to accommodate easy maintenance. Acala is a pure breed explorer therefore she needs a high level of independence. The engine room is one of the sources of that independence as its redundant equipment allow to sail far and wide and to reach remote areas of the globe where it is impossible to access any sort of assistance. An expansive lazarette provides a very large storage area needed for many cruising necessities, water toys, diving equipment, etc. The main tender is stored on the Upper deck forward. Crew quarters and service areas are functional and well-appointed, as requested by the Owner. Five cabins are on the Lower deck alongside a roomy crew mess opposite a professional galley and the Captain has his own cabin on the Upper deck next to the wheelhouse. “CdM’s strategy to dedicate one slot per year to fully custom projects proved to be successful and extremely important for the technical growth of the shipyard. Building these one-off vessels is a great opportunity for our team to learn something new and to work out of its comfort zone: this is the only key to move forward and improve, in our opinion, and that’s why we opted for this strategy,” Ennio Cecchini, CDM CEO says . “Being chosen by experienced owners such as this gentleman who decided to have his second yacht built by us, after having owned yachts built by the most reputed Northern European brands, is the best possible prove that our commitment, dedication, technical skills and quality are second to none.” MAIN DATA: › LOA 43.10m › LWL 40.35m › Beam 8.60m › Draft 2.50m › Gross tonnage 499 GT › Engines 2 x Caterpillar C32 Acert 746kW (A rating, Heavy Duty) › Max Speed 14 knots › Range @ 10 knots 5000 nm › Bowthruster 85kW › Generators 2 x Kohler 80kW EFODS + 1 x Kohler 55kW EFODS › Fuel tanks capacity 62.400 litres

Acala Cantiere delle Marche

43m full-custom explorer yacht Acala launched at Cantiere delle Marche

Minimal White Logo

Cantiere delle Marche announces the launch of Acala, a 43m explorer superyacht commissioned by a repeat client of the Italian shipyard who had previously owned a Darwin 102, with which he has sailed extensively in the Pacific and Atlantic.

Acala: design

Acala is an explorer yacht reflecting the tradition of Cantiere delle Marche. The new addition marks the first collaboration with the Argentinean Varazze-based designer and naval architect Horacio Bozzo who handled the eye-catching exterior design. But Acala has also reconfirmed the presence of Sergio Cutolo – Hydro Tec, at the helm of the naval architecture design of the Italian shipyard. The luxury and relaxing interior design, instead, is by Mexican architect Simon Hamui. This multidisciplinary approach allowed for a total level of customization.

MY Acala Cantiere delle Marche 2

“ The aim of our design work is the pleasure of seeing the owner’s desires taking shape and recognizing himself in it ”- says Horacio Bozzo – Designing an explorer for an experienced owner who grew up around boats and understands yachting perfectly, is very gratifying, We started from a white piece of paper and brainstormed a lot with him to fulfil the whole family needs.”

Three decks and a sundeck: these are the areas dedicated to the cabins, which can sleep a total of 12 guests across six cabins. Owners and their families will be able to enjoy the full-beam main deck from amidships to the bow. The large, comfortable VIP cabins are located on the starboard side and enjoy natural light and a view of the sea, in keeping with the nautical design trend that is moving in the direction of ever greater contact with nature.

MY Acala Cantiere delle Marche

The Main Deck, where three VIPs and the master cabin are located, is characterized by large windows whose uprights do not join the superstructure, thus providing great light and a breathtaking view of the sea. The two twin cabins are located on the lower deck. On the Main Deck there is also a panoramic salon, of limited dimensions, which has the peculiarity of opening onto a very large cockpit, equipped for moments of conviviality and dining, where there is also a swimming pool and large spaces dedicated to relaxation and sunbathing.

The Upper Deck houses a large panoramic skylounge, perfect for both conversation and dining for more formal occasions. The Sun Deck is partially shaded by the hard top and hosts a second swimming pool, a dining area and a living room. Particularly functional is the choice of a dumbwaiter that connects all the decks. From the Lower Deck, where the galley is located, the dumbwaiter goes up to the Upper Deck, facilitating the work of the crew and giving guests and owners more privacy. The crew has five cabins, a dinette adjacent to the spacious galley and other rooms. The captain has a cabin on the Upper Deck next to the helm station.

MY Acala: Performance

Featuring a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, 62,400l fuel tanks and powered by two efficient Caterpillar C32 Acert 746 kW engines, Acala has a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots, and a top speed of 14 knots.

In other words, she has all the credentials of an explorer yacht that wants to reach the most remote and unspoilt areas of the oceans without haste

Cantiere delle Marche and custom production

“ The strategy to dedicate one slot per year to fully custom projects proved to be successful and extremely important for the technical growth of the shipyard – says CDM CEO Ennio Cecchini – Building these one-off vessels is a great opportunity for our team to learn something new and to work out of its comfort zone”. Acala’s imposing and elegant lines reveal harmonious and balanced geometries, providing generous and extremely luxurious spaces. But Acala is also expression of a refined luxury and perhaps for this very reason wonderfully intangible, resolving itself in the impalpable sensation of living without the oppression of time.

The just concluded Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) marked the Fort Lauderdale premiere of the new Darwin Class 102’ explorer superyacht ACALA by Cantiere delle Marche . The brand new motor yacht ACALA was successfully delivered to her Central American Owner in September.

“The unrivalled quality of the engineering, the sturdiness, and the reliability of a CdM Explorer Vessel proved themselves once again, when, immediately after delivery, Acala was hit by a huge storm and had to cruise for more than 14 hours in 40- to 50-knot winds and 5- to 6-meter waves, with no technical problems at all,” said Vasco Buonpensiere, Sales and Marketing Director of Cantiere delle Marche.

Ennio Cecchini, CEO and Co-founder of CdM with Vasco Buonpensiere and Gabriele Virgili added: “If you consider that in the industry it is quite common to hear that a Yacht needs a year to heal teething issues and only then is it ready to cruise seriously and safely… this Acala experience is an incredible statement which confirms CdM’s reputation in terms of the quality and sturdiness of the boats it builds.”

ACALA Yacht - from above

ACALA Yacht – from above

Super yacht ACALA boasts plenty of specific customizations, including the lazarette equipped like a real diving station with a nitrox compressor, the five-cabin layout with the master cabin forward, the doors to the two huge sitting areas that can open completely, as well as air conditioning and heating even in the outdoor areas. Moreover, thanks to the increased space on the swimming platform, the yacht can easily host two unusually big tenders for a yacht of this size: a 20- and a 16-foot.

Created by the famous South American designer Simon Hamui and the Italian design studio PFA , the high quality, modern and welcoming interiors of ACALA yacht boast luxurious colors, fabrics, as well as leathers. The lower deck hosts the kitchen and the technical areas of the crew quarters in the bow, as well as an ample sitting and eating area with large windows that provide especially generous amounts of sunlight.

The amazingly light and airy sky lounge of ACALA yacht is fitted with an L-shaped sofa, a wide-screen up/down TV, as well as a desk on the starboard side of the vessel. There are also large, sliding doors that lead directly to the outside deck where the dining table can comfortably host twelve guests. The vessel also offers a vast sundeck, which is a wide, open-air living space with a bar console, a large sofa, lunch tables, and a swimming pool surrounded by a sunbathing area.

Acala takes full advantage of CdM’s experience and its approach to explorer yacht building. Acala has been commissioned by an experienced yachtsman who, over the years, owned yachts built by shipyards such as Feadship, Lürssen, Blohm and Voss.

“I am delighted and proud with this milestone launch,” Vasco Buonpensiere, CdM’s co-founder and Sales & Marketing Director, says. “The trust this owner confirmed in CdM gives us the highest reason for pride. It is a statement of appreciation for both our yachts and ourselves as a team always committed to the owner’s satisfaction. The mutual trust established between this client and CdM team has been pivotal to the good result of the whole process that led to the completion of such a complex project.”

“The work on technical specifications has been extremely detailed and it lasted almost 12 months to achieve a double result: to build a 43-metre yacht with the most detailed and comprehensive specs we have ever drawn up and to proceed with no need for major modifications as construction progressed,” Vasco Buonpensiere maintains. “In the light of this approach and procedures, within the team we joke around saying that we have built the smallest 80-metre yacht ever built!” Buonpensiere says.

Acala introduces a new collaboration with Horacio Bozzo Design. “The aim of our design work is the pleasure of seeing the owner’s desires taking shape and recognizing himself in it,” says Horacio Bozzo, yacht designer and naval architect based in Viareggio, Italy. “Designing an explorer for an experienced owner who grew up around boats and understands yachting perfectly, is very gratifying,” Horacio adds. “We started from a white piece of paper and brainstormed a lot with him to fulfil the whole family needs.”

Her profile with a raked bow and compact superstructure captures an explorer vessel combining it with the elegance of a luxury yacht. Large windows on the main deck whose mullions seem not to join the superstructure are Acala’s profile signature features.

Guest areas are spread over three decks plus a sun deck. Acala features an organised interior layout that sleeps twelve guests in six suites. A large lobby sits in between the main salon and guest night quarters. The full beam main deck, from amidship forward, is dedicated to guests and owners. Three large VIP suites and the owner’s suite to the starboard side are flooded by natural light from large windows. Two twin cabins are located on the lower deck.

The salon on the main deck and a panoramic sky lounge on the upper deck with dining area have been designed and decorated for indoor relaxation and entertainment. The cockpit features dining and lounging areas, and a swimming pool. A large and partially shaded sun deck integrated into the profile provides the social hub for Acala’s guests with an al fresco dining, bar, sunbathing area alongside a second swimming pool. Acala interior design is by Mexican architect Simon Hamui.

She has a full displacement naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo/Hydro Tec offering large volume (440GT). Engineering has been developed by the yard technical department in collaboration with Hydro Tec. Like all explorer yachts built by Cantiere delle Marche, she features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

Acala will have a range of above 5,000 nm at 10 knots and a top speed of 14 knots. An expansive lazarette provides a large storage area needed for many cruising necessities, water toys, diving equipment, etc. The main tender is stored on the upper deck forward. Crew quarters and service areas are functional and well-appointed, as requested by the owner. Five cabins are on the lower deck alongside a crew mess opposite a professional galley and the captain has his own cabin on the upper deck next to the wheelhouse.

“CdM’s strategy to dedicate one slot per year to fully custom projects proved to be successful and extremely important for the technical growth of the shipyard. Building these one-off vessels is a great opportunity for our team to learn something new and to work out of its comfort zone: this is the only key to move forward and improve, in our opinion, and that’s why we opted for this strategy,” Ennio Cecchini, CDM CEO says. “Being chosen by experienced owners such as this gentleman who decided to have his second yacht built by us, after having owned yachts built by the most reputed Northern European brands, is the best possible prove that our commitment, dedication, technical skills and quality are second to none.”

The above graph highlights Cantiere delle Marche's deliveries since 2015 and their average LOA(m). In the seven years between 2015-2021 CdM have on average made two deliveries every year, with the projected order book looking to increase this average.

Cantiere Delle Marche Launches 43m Acala

By Danny Wiser

Cantiere delle Marche has announced the launch of a 43m explorer yacht in the presence of her new owners.

Her detailed technical specifications were the most “comprehensive specs” CdM have ever drawn up according to co-founder Vasco Buonpensiere.

The Sales & Marketing Director said: “ In the light of these approach and procedures, within the team we joke around saying that we have built the smallest 80-metre yacht ever built! ”

Acala, commissioned by a repeat client, was designed by naval architects Sergio Cutolo and Hydro Tec.

Her eye catching exterior was overseen by Horacio Bozzo Design whilst her luxurious inner ambience was crafted by Mexican architect Simon Hamuí.

Her intricate design features space across three decks as well as a large and partially shaded sun deck.

Sleeping 12 guests in six suites, the yacht has numerous social spaces for guests to mingle including an al fresco dining area, a bar and a vast sunbathing area.

In terms of entertainment, guests can enjoy her large panoramic sky lounge as well as her two swimming pools.

The Italian-build will have a range of above 5000 nautical miles at 10 knots and a top speed of 14 knots, making her a perfect choice to explore the world in.

"In the light of these approach and procedures, within the team we joke around saying that we have built the smallest 80-metre yacht ever built!" Vasco Buonpensiere, CdM’s co-founder and Sales & Marketing Director

Who is Ajay Thakore? San Diego Lamborghini Yacht owner threatens dock worker in viral video

A n Indian-origin California business owner Ajay Thakore recently made headlines when he reportedly threatened a dockyard worker at San Diego's Marriott Marina after the latter refused to let the former park his $4.5 million Lamborghini Yacht, as per Times Now News.

The video of the incident has now gone viral online. While the face of the man threatening the dock employee saying "I will kill you!" multiple times remains unclear in the footage, many media outlets, including the New York Post confirmed it was Ajay Thakore, who has previously been part of similar confrontations.

Apart from threatening to kill the dock worker, the man in the video also flashed at the latter, as the yacht moved away from the marina. In the wake of this incident, here's looking at who Ajay Thakore is.

Ajay Thakore also goes by the name Ace Rogers

According to Daily Mail, Ajay Thakore also goes by the name Ace Rogers and he is a wealthy businessman and philanthropist based in San Diego, California. He is the CEO of Doctor Multimedia, a local medical marketing agency, and Gopher Media LLC.

He has previously faced similar controversy in 2021 when he was accused of harassing the employees of a La Jolla pizza joint called American Pizza Manufacturing. Its founder Andrew Melone alleged back then that it all started with Thakore defaming the take-and-bake pizza establishment on social media.

However, things escalated when the Indian-origin business owner reportedly parked two of his cars directly in front of the eatery, blocking its entrance, with texts, "Take N Bake Pizza Sucks" glaring on top of it.

Melone also claimed that an airplane flew over the locality with the banner reading, "Just Say No to Take N Bake Pizza." Not only that but Ajay Thakore reportedly involved another pizzeria in the area Carino's, with planes displaying messages like "Carino's Pizza is Better than Take N Bake."

Additionally, Thakore and his companies filed a $10 million lawsuit against Andrew Melone and his public accusations, claiming that they were "exercising their First Amendment Rights" and protesting against discrimination. The owner of the pizzeria countersued, alleging Thakore had persistently harassed him and his company. The two civil lawsuits are still underway.

Exploring the recent controversy surrounding Ajay Thakore

On the afternoon of March 10, 2024, Ajay Thakore's multimillion-dollar Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht was not allowed to park in the Seaforth Boat Rental lot in San Diego's Marriott Marina. He was reportedly there to pick up an employee. The video of the incident has now gone viral.

It shows a man standing on the edge of the yacht threatening to "kill" the worker identified as Joseph Holt, as per CBS 8. Later, as the boat moved away from the dock, the former dropped his pants and made inappropriate gestures toward the 21-year-old employee. The harasser even threw $100 bills at the guy which fell into the water.

Holt told reporters that he "respectfully" told the driver not to park in the private space and was hoping to have a "conversation" with him about his "cool boat," when "it completely went the other way."

"I really didn't know how to process it. I really was trying to restrain myself from getting fired from my job or stepping out of line. The only thing I did was give him the bird," Holt stated.

The employee also mentioned how Thakore berated him for his minimum wage labor and called him a nobody who did nothing on a "silly job." The expensive boat owner allegedly threatened to have him fired using his "connections" and ruin his life.

The dock worker further continued,

"He had dropped his pants and started to make gestures to everybody watching and me. You can't act that way in public. It's just not okay. Especially threatening my life, at the very least. There were women and children there. That's the most important part."

In contrast, Ajay Thakore's public relations team told CBS 8 that the "interaction" was "regrettable."

"What started as a minor misunderstanding escalated into an argument, and I apologize for my actions and to those who witnessed the unfortunate exchange," the statement added.

Later, Ajay Thakore's employee Jason, whom the former was supposed to pick up during the fiasco, also issued a clarification via his boss' Instagram (@acerogersceo). He said that he was not allowed to get aboard, and was asked to "stand back" and even "forearmed" which is when Thakore allegedly "flipped" as he was protective of him, his fiancé, and his other employees, tagging it as a long-drawn misunderstanding.

In the caption of the post, it was Ajay Thakore who seemed to issue a statement:

"As a leader, I defend my own fiercely with everything I have, and I will never apologize for that. You can choose to believe that I just pulled up to the dock and started yelling, or you can realize that a lot happened before the cameras were rolling and that it takes two sides to escalate a situation."

Notably, in the aftermath of the incident, Port of San Diego Harbor Police were called in, who arrived 10 minutes after Ajay Thakore's boat left the marina. Joseph Holt told the news outlet that the officers didn't take his complaints seriously and were even laughing at him.

The department responded by telling CBS 8 that they were called in to deal with a "possible intoxicated vessel operator" who had departed the area before they got there and that they were unable to do anything with. The statement went on to say that a report had been made and that the police had spoken with the complainant and witnesses.

Cantiere delle Marche delivers Darwin 102 Acala with custom dive centre

Italian yacht builder Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has delivered its latest explorer yacht, the 31 metre Darwin Class 102 Acala . CdM reports the yacht is making her Atlantic crossing bound for a Central American client but will make her public debut during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this November.

Acala ’s experienced owner’s previous yachts were delivered by Northern European yards. The hands-on owner closely collaborated with Cantiere delle Marche on Acala so his personality and usage of the yacht is tied into its design.

Big boat customisations abound, from the dive centre in the lazarette that hosts a nitrox compressor to air conditioning in the outdoor living areas. The swim platform has been enlarged so Acala can accommodate two sizeable tenders – a six metre custom yacht tender by McMullen and Wing and another nearly five metre tender.

“In the shipyard, we say that this is the smallest ever built 60 metres, and we say this because of the many solutions that are not normally found on yachts of this size,” said Ennio Cecchini, CDM founder, at Acala ’s launch. “Just look at the garage: its components and the organisation of space and stowage are enough to understand.”

Acala ’s owner chose a five cabin layout with the owner’s stateroom set forward. Crew accommodations host up to seven crew members.

The interior is artfully designed by famed South American designer Simon Hamui, who had worked with the yacht’s owner previously on some of his houses and offices. Hamui has carried forward the ceiling heights and wide open spaces found in the owner’s homes into his new yacht.

CdM recently debuted its new flagship, Storm , at Cannes and announced it will be building an even larger yacht with the new Nauta Air 108 .
