FUSION is a 38-metre megayacht designed by naval architect Dixon Yacths / Scaro Design and delivered by the prestigious Peri Yachts shipyard in 2012. She is a masterpiece in terms of design as well as performance: a real cruiser with long-range capability and a high-performance hull.

DESTINATIONS

FUSION has her summer base port in the Balearics and she is available for charter during the summer season in the West Mediterranean and during the winter in the Caribbean. Whether you should choose to charter in the West Mediterranean or the Caribbean, FUSION and her crew of 7 will be sure to satisfy all of your needs and make sure you enjoy your experience.

ACCOMMODATION & DECK AREAS

FUSION ´s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 spacious and stylish en-suite staterooms, including a Master Suite, two Double staterooms and two Twin with Pullman beds, all with ensuite facilities. She can also carry up to six crew onboard to ensure that luxury yacht experience. ‘Scaro Design’ is responsible for her beautiful exterior and interior design. ‘Dixon Yacht Design’ developed her most noteworthy naval architecture. She has a dark silver exterior and features contemporary styling and impeccable furnishings. So, this includes light timber and a palette of cream, brown and charcoal throughout. On her top deck, FUSION charter guests can enjoy a dining and lounge area undercover. In addition, her Jacuzzi takes even more advantage of the views by day and night.

PERFORMANCE

Powered by 2 MTU 2400hp engines, yacht FUSION is capable of speeds from 20 – 24 knots, effortlessly gliding over the warm Mediterranean waters, on her sleek planing hull. The yacht is fitted with state of the art stabilizers, both underway and at anchor, ensuring optimum comfort.

EQUIPMENT 

The luxurious megayacht  FUSION  is a stunning mix of elegance and power. Equipped with high-tech entertainment and AV facilities and stabilized with the latest generation of Gyroscopic Stabilizers, the yacht is extremely comfortable at anchor and cruising.

TENDER & TOYS

FUSION boasts an array of water toys especially relevant to charter guests of all ages. So, first of all, she offers a 530 Zodiac tender. In addition, luxury toys include a Jet Ski RXP and a Super Jet Kawasaki 700. Similarly, she carries a Sea Doo 255 and a flyboard. Furthermore, towables include a doughnut and water-skis. Finally, more relaxing toys include fishing gear.

QUANTUM’s vast exterior and interior space express a new kind of luxury – smooth, uncluttered and very seductive. New dimensions open up, from the broad, teak-clad outer decks, to the generous fly-bridge, with its privileged views of the sea. The contemporary and generous interior envelops you in pearl grey leather, pale floors and sophisticated lighting. There is air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet access throughout this yacht for charter.

Deck areas are extensive and include a large sheltered aft deck with all the facilities for al fresco entertaining and dining while a huge flybridge comes complete with sunbathing spaces, sun pads, a wet bar and an outdoor dining area, along with a vast array of water toys.

Motor-Yacht QUANTUM offers the 4-cabin version of the Peri 29 and can accommodate 8 guests sleeping in a spacious comfort (two doubles with queen sized beds and two twins, all with entertainment systems and full en-suite bathroom facilities), as well as up to 12 cruising.

Modern to the core, the Peri 29 embodies the advantages of E glass and epoxy resin construction. This composite material possesses outstanding properties of lightness, stiffness and strength, which translate into a vessel that delivers impressive speed for the power used, as well as great stability and ease of handling.

Peri describe the 29 as a “lifestyle statement”, for a new generation of youthful, design-literate owners. Scaro Design, the young Istanbul design group responsible for the yacht’s exterior and interior took full advantage of the freedom offered by the high-tech laminate. This can be seen in the 29’s swooping profile, laced with a hint of aggression. It also shows in the subtle curve of the bulwark, which gives the saloon an unobstructed view of the sea. The long, rectangular portholes are equally striking. They contribute an intriguing touch of secretiveness. Given the 29’s sleek look, its voluminous living spaces come as an exciting shock. The high-tech materials lighten the entire structure and open up new space for luxury living. The increased volume is apparent everywhere. The teak-laid decks are broader, with more room to entertain or to sink into the huge sofas and sunbeds that are such a part of Peri’s chic, relaxed style. In particular, the 29 features an unusually generous flying bridge. This plays a role in the yacht’s aerodynamic lines, but also makes this privileged area more seductive than ever. As Peri say: “Space is the greatest luxury of all”. Inside, as out, the Peri 29 offers the feeling of a much larger yacht. The saloon and dining area establish the clean, uncluttered style of decoration, which represents minimalism at its best. The theme continues on the accommodation deck, notable for its discreet use of precious materials and its unusual cantilevered ceilings. The owner’s cabin stands out by its full-beam width and glamorous en-suite wet room. However, the three guest cabins and also the crews’ quarters are more spacious than is standard for a yacht of this size. As to the galley, Peri is proud to point out that it designs the 29’s galley for the needs of a much larger vessel. It remains to be said that the Peri 29 is as big on safety as it on size and comfort. The engine room is a model of its kind. Its equipment was selected from the most trusted high-end brands and is carefully laid out for convenient, efficient use and inspection.

Freighter pilot called for tugboat help before plowing into Baltimore bridge

The pilot of the cargo freighter that knocked down a highway bridge into Baltimore Harbor had radioed for tugboat help and reported a power loss minutes earlier, federal safety officials said on Wednesday, citing audio from the ship's "black box" data recorder.
