ARIENCE Yacht – Epic 60 M Superyacht

The ARIENCE yacht (previously named Excellence V) underwent a refit early this year. She was originally built and delivered by German shipbuilders Abetting & Rasmussen in 2012. 

She was originally built for American billionaire, Herb Chambers, but he listed a private vessel back in April 2018 for 69,500,000 EUR. 

ARIENCE Yacht Interior

The ARIENCE yacht interior was designed by the exclusive English design firm Reymond Langton. 

She has a contemporary style interior with a warm earthy color scheme and vibrant hues of color that can be seen throughout her five decks. 

One of the most relevant characteristics of this superyacht is its extended voluminous interior. 

Her seven staterooms can accommodate up to 12 guests, without mentioning her extra space to carry 16 crew members on board. 

The master suite can be found on deck and has two private bathrooms, a jacuzzi, and a shower with light creamy woods. This luxury suite also features a wardrobe and office. 

The rest of the cabins are located on the main deck, including the VIP suite and the guest suites. On this level of the yacht, you can also find the main salon and dining area. 

The upper deck is ideal for socializing in the lounging area while enjoying the ocean view or alfresco dinners. 

Her amenities on board include a beach club, BBQ, elevator, excessive equipment, jacuzzi on deck, spa, outdoor bar, movie theatre, projector, games consoles, iPod docking, WIFI, and air-conditioning. 

When it comes to toys, she is fully equipped with a couple of wave runners, kayaks, paddle boards, inflatable toys and trampoline, towable toys, and snorkeling equipment.

Just like her interior, the ARIENCE yacht exterior is also a work of Reymond Langton Design, with naval architecture by Abeking & Rasmussen. 

She is built with a dark blue steel hull, aluminum superstructure, and an open Teak decking area that expand until the water’s edge. 

Her unique design offers ten exterior spaces, ideal for guests who enjoy spending time in outdoors. 

As part of her innovative design, ARIENCE features at-anchor zero-speed stabilizers and two Novurania Chase Tenders .

The ARIENCE is a 60.0m motor yacht with a beam of 12.8m, a draft of 3.4m, and a volume of 1,632 GT.

Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 13.0 knots with a top speed of 15.5 knots. ARIENCE can carry up to 114,000 liters of fuel and 2.600 liters of water on board. 

She is the 14th largest yacht built by Aberking & Rasmussen and she’s also one of the largest yachts in the world, ranking number 479th. The vessel is currently sailing under the Cayman Islands flag.

In 2012, Abeking & Rasmussen launched the 199'8" (60.9m) ARIENCE. A bold and powerful motor yacht, she has been designed for luxury cruising and can welcome up to 12 guests. The yacht’s interior styling and exterior lines are the inspiration of Reymond Langton Design and she offers the highest standards of accommodation and leisure amenities. ARIENCE is a luxurious 60m charter superyacht that was custom-built by Abeking & Rasmussen. Offering exceptional volume, she was designed with the combined expertise of her highly-experienced yacht owner and well-respected Captain and crew. Her compact size and stunning array of onboard features ensure she’s equally at home cruising the French Riviera or the Caribbean. As a winner of the 2013 ISS Award for Best Motor Yacht in her class, ARIENCE is the ideal charter yacht.

With seven sumptuous ensuite staterooms, ARIENCE can welcome up to 12 guests onboard overnight. She also has onboard accommodation for her outstanding charter crew of 16. A sumptuous penthouse-style master suite is located on the private owner’s deck. Opening into his and hers bathrooms with a Jacuzzi and shower, the suite also has walk-in wardrobes and a private study. Outside, the private terrace is equipped with a Jacuzzi, sunpads and an intimate seating area with panoramic sea views. On the main deck you’ll find five beautifully-decorated double/twin staterooms including a superb VIP suite with an ensuite Jacuzzi. ARIENCE’s versatile guest accommodation also includes a guest suite on the upper deck which is ideal for use by children or staff.

On the main deck, an elegant foyer with a glass lift leads into the main salon and dining area. Styled as an open-plan living space, the salon features a comfortable seating area with a deco-style wet bar. A central credenza with a hidden television separates the salon from the formal dining salon which seats 12 guests.

The upper deck of this charter yacht is perfect for socialising with a bright and spacious lounge overlooking the ocean. And the lower deck has been designed as an entertainment zone with a beach club, open-air gym plus a lavish cinema room.

On the bridge deck, you’ll find ARIENCE’s large sports bar with a built-in seating area and a widescreen TV. Another bar and dining area are located on the upper aft deck while the main aft deck has a delightful lounge. On the lower deck, ARIENCE’s beach club folds out to create a fabulous floating terrace.

An approved RYA water sports centre, ARIENCE knows a thing or two about fun. Her onboard toybox is stuffed with the very latest water toys and tenders plus a beach BBQ kit. Get the adrenaline going with ARIENCE’s waverunners and seabob or enjoy a leisurely morning with a paddle board. CHARTER BY ROYAL YACHT INTERNATIONAL

Arience is a yacht built for a connoisseur – a true classic, she is the perfect example of best in class Northern European building and continues to storm the charter market as one of the highest pedigree yachts in her size category. With a comparable tonnage to a 70m-75m yacht, she presents enormous volume but in a more flexible package in terms of accessibility to certain anchorages and ports. Accommodating guests in 7 cabins – 3 double and 2 twin cabins on the main deck, with the Master Suite and the 7th cabin on the owner’s deck above, she is able to carry 12 guests and 2 staff. On the lower deck, there is a full cinema with reclining chairs, an open waterside gym and separate bar / spa lounging. On the main deck, in addition to the guests cabins, there is a welcoming bar and lounge area, interior dining room and welcoming half-moon exterior seating. On the Owner’s deck, travelling forward through the private office with the 7th cabin to the port side is the Master suite with a 180-degree view and large private deck with seating and jacuzzi, his and her bathrooms (with bath and shower). To the aft of the Owner’s deck, is a large and welcoming lounge with card table and opens onto the exterior deck where there is a bar and sofas. The bridge deck is all about the exterior with a large buffet for serving, dining table for 12 with wrap-around windbreaks to protect from the elements and cosy seating. On the sundeck is the spa pool with waterfall and forward seating area. All decks are connected by the central circular lift. Arience is led by the enthusiastic and massively experienced Captain Dean Pilatti and supported by the extremely talented Chef Dean Harrison, with an attentive interior team led by Lizzie and Jasmin, and an fit and eager watersports deck crew armed with brand new water toys.

Stary Oskol is the Belgorod Region’s second city by population and today consists of two main parts: the historical centre on the hill and the new centre made up of blocks of housing estates (mikroraiony). It is named after the river on which it stands on; the word stary (old) was added to distinguish it from the new settlement of Novy Oskol (New Oskol). Just outside the city is an impressive cave-monastery complex.

Stary Oskol - Overview

Stary Oskol is a city in Russia located in the Belgorod region, standing on the banks of the Oskol River, about 142 km northeast of Belgorod, 632 km south of Moscow.

The population of Stary Oskol is about 222,600 (2022), the area - 134 sq. km.

History of stary oskol.

In 1300, there was a village called Ugly on the the territory of the present city. Today, it is one of the districts of Stary Oskol. At that time, the village was part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and was a border crossing point on the border with the Golden Horde.

The settlement of Oskol was founded by Russian Tsar Fyodor Ioanovich’s order (Ivan’s the Terrible son) to protect the southern borders of the Russian kingdom in 1593. The bulk of the population were peasants and the military.

In 1617, the town was burned by the Poles. In 1625, 1642 and 1677, the Crimean Tatars approached Stary Oskol, but could not capture it. The town was renamed Stary Oskol (meaning Old Oskol) in 1655, when the town of Tsaryov-Alexeyev, located down the river, was renamed Novy Oskol (New Oskol). Fortifications of the town existed until the 18th century.

More Historical Facts…

Gradually, Stary Oskol turned into peaceful, commercial and merchant town - the center of an agricultural district. Industrial production was represented mainly by enterprises on processing agricultural products.

In 1780, the town got its coat of arms. In 1784, Stary Oskol like most Russian towns of that time was rebuilt according to a new plan signed by Empress Catherine II. A large number of brick houses were built, mostly two-story buildings. The historic center of Stary Oskol has been preserved to our time.

In the second half of the 19th century, the town had a wide network of schools, libraries, reading rooms, printing, secondary schools. In 1894, construction of the railway began, trade and industry began to develop rapidly.

Until the 1930s, there were eleven Orthodox churches in Stary Oskol. During the Second World War, Stary Oskol was occupied by the Germans from July 2, 1942 to February 5, 1943. In 1954, the city became part of the newly formed Belgorod region.

In the late 1960s - early 1970s, in connection with the active development of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly (the most powerful iron ore basin in the world), Stary Oskol became a major center of iron and steel industry.

Stary Oskol was declared a city of three top-priority Komsomol construction projects. The largest enterprises: Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Plant, Stoilensky Mining and Processing Plant, Oskolsky Electrometallurgical Plant became not only the city-forming enterprises, but also the largest industrial enterprises of the country. Stary Oskol experienced a new birth.

Today, Stary Oskol is a rapidly developing city, one of the leading mining and metallurgical centers of Russia.

Stary Oskol - Features

The coat of arms of Stary Oskol is a shield divided in half diagonally, in the red field there is a rifle, in the green field - a golden plow. It reflects both military and agricultural importance of the town.

Stary Oskol is among Russian cities with the youngest population. The average age of its citizens is about 35 years. The main reason lies in the history of the city. In the second half of the 20th century, a large number of members of the Young Communist League came to Stary Oskol to participate in the construction of large industrial enterprises.

Unique reserves of iron ore, developed industry and infrastructure, high scientific, technical and industrial potential, fertile land form the basis of Stary Oskol economy.

The main branches of local industry are mining, ferrous metallurgy, machine building and metalworking, building materials, food industry. There are more than 140 large and medium industrial enterprises, which employ more than 80 thousand people.

Attractions of Stary Oskol

The city has more than a dozen Orthodox churches and chapels. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (Tokareva Street, 4/1) is the main church of Stary Oskol. St. Trinity Church (Bolshevistskaya Street, 17/15), built in 1730, is the oldest church in the city.

The Zoo was opened in Stary Oskol in 2008. Bears, lions, tigers, monkeys, wolves, camels, ostriches, and other species of birds and animals live there.

Museum of Local Lore (Lenina Street, 50). The museums, founded in 1923, has exhibitions about the history of Stary Oskol. It is located in a building which is a monument of history and culture of the 19th century once owned by the merchants and brothers Likhutins.

The museum organizes tours of the city and the area including visits to an ancient Russian settlement of Kholki, an underground monastery in Melovy mountains, and a biosphere reserve “Yamskaya steppe”.

Art Museum (Lenina Street, 57). The collection of local masters of folk clay toys (O.M.Goncharova and N.M.Goncharova) is a real pearl of the museum. Stary Oskol folk clay toys production was known from the end of the 18th century.

House Museum of Vasily Yeroshenko (Yeroshenko Street, 15). Yeroshenko’s life is a living legend for blind people not only in Russia but also abroad. He encourages disabled people, supports them with his talent, helps them on their ways to improve techniques. Yeroshenko spoke 12 foreign languages and was the professor of universities in Tokyo and Beijing, he became a classic of Japan literature for children.

Delivered in 2012, the 61m/197 ft custom motor yacht EXCELLENCE V has been sold to new owners, and will still be available for Mediterranean yacht charters this summer under her new name, ARIENCE .

Built by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen and featuring exterior and interior design by the acclaimed Reymond Langton Design, Arience has recently benefitted from a thorough refurbishment, including a superstructure repaint and generator rebuild, and will be available for charter in the Mediterranean from June.

Motor yacht Arience accommodates up to twelve guests in seven en suite cabins, which include a large and sumptuous master suite, a VIP suite, three double cabins and two twin cabins. The master suite is especially impressive, featuring a private terrace, separate his and hers bathrooms with marble fittings, an adjoining private office and large windows providing a stunning 180 degree view across the ocean. The suite can also be accessed by elevator directly from the beach club for added convenince and style.

All the cabins are furnished to the highest standards and feature a variety of exquisite woods including golden burl, sycamore and maple while soft furnishings have a classic contemporary look and come in a restful colour palette of cream and pale gold with accents of deep blue and scarlet.

The ship's foyer, with its marble floor, curving stairway and gleaming glass elevator, welcomes guests in dramatic fashion, and the immaculate styling continues into the public areas of Arience.

The spacious main salon, featuring a variety of artworks on its walls, is a welcoming and informal space for entertaining your guests. At its heart is a large curving sofa, perfect for just sinking into after a long day, while there's an adjoining bar to provide those after dinner drinks.

A great deal of attention has also gone into the comfortably furnished cinema, with its plush vintage movie theatre style seating. It's a luxurious yet intimate place for winding down and relaxing in the evenings

For outdoor entertainment, look no further than the large beach club amidships, while there's also a glass fronted spa pool, as well as multiple outdoor lounge areas for sunbathing and socialising. A fully equipped waterside gym is also available for more active leisure time.

Arience is a ship built for outdoor enjoyment, with abundant deck space for lounges and alfresco dining arrangements, while the bridge deck features an expandable table for enjoying meals with an uninterrupted view of the sea.

The deckside lounge areas, all carrying the signature style and attention to detail of Reymond Langton, provide a social hub for your guests to catch their breath and enjoy the sea breeze.
